Vegan Van

AMAZING! I was visiting from California for a wedding and needed to grab food before heading to the airport- I got the Crunchwrap, two Buffalo wraps, tater tots, and a spicy potato taco (only got photos of two things) to split between two and it was PHENOMENAL. The flavors were so delicious, and I appreciated the tofu providing protein with some veggies in the Buffalo wrap. The price was also very reasonable but maybe I am just used to California vegan pricing haha.

I love their food. I've been a customer for a couple of years at least. I developed a gluten allergy and they have tasty gluten free options. Usually in festivals they sell out and since they use Toast for their POS they are very efficient and have your orders ready in no time. When ordering online or delivery, do it from their website their toast online ordering website to avoid the restaurant being charged fees like Door dash, Uber eats, and GrubHub does. If you want to support the business, just buy using their own website.

We ordered 2 Carne breakfast Burritos, a side of fries and a side of tots. Food is well seasoned and freshly made. The avocado and the fries in the burritos are so good! They do not have dine in space, there are 2 chairs and 1 little foldable table outside of the store front. You order through a little window. It is probably the best to take the food to go but since we are here visiting from out of state, we sat down and ate. The weather was nice so we didn’t mind sitting outside and enjoying our food. The location of the shop is in the middle of some trucks and warehouses.

Absolutely in LOVE 🥰 with VEGAN 🥑 VAN everything!! I’ve been following vegan vans journey for years and I just came to the new location on 39th and I love it even more than all the others !! Update: New location (Central Park) & pics (see the last pics!) .. AMAZING service!! Cute adorable seating outside for singles, couples or even groups and I just can’t get over they they’re awesome theme days like today was taco Tuesday and tomorrow’s wing Wednesday and I will be here for both!! !! 💗 💕 ❤️ , ❤️!!!❤️

I love Vegan Van and will always recommend to both seasoned vegans and anyone looking to explore a plant-based diet! Portions are generous and the food is just DELICIOUS. Always an awesome lineup of fast-food inspired options. I can’t resist when I see the food truck out and about either!! The owners Justin and Brittany are awesome people. Always brighten up any room they’re in!! This IS a small, family owned business so if you’re in a rush I would recommend ordering ahead of time, but it’s always worth the wait. :) if I could give more stars I would!!

Oh my goodness what a find. I LOVE this place. It has incredibly tasty vegan fast food, including BREAKFAST SANDWICHES which I am always on the hunt for! Reasonably priced for the portions, which aren’t small. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and fast service! The tater tots are the best in the land—so crispy and fresh.

Honestly best food in Colorado. We have been going to Vegan Van consistently for 2 years, we have tried almost all of their items and everything is amazing! The owners Brittney and Justin are great people. I always love seeing them. All of their staff is always so nice and friendly. Yeah you may have to wait a little longer for the food or they may have random hours...but this is a small local business! Give them a break....Quality food takes time and it is always worth it. I've been wanting to go to the vegan van for literally forever and finally made the time for it! The location feels a bit weird as it's in the middle of a pretty industrial area but google maps took us right there. Everything we ordered was super good and the food came out fast! There is a pretty good brewery right around the corner that we took the food to to eat. We will definitely be back!

I stumbled upon this place after arriving from the airport and searched for the nearest vegan restaurant and Vegan Van came up. By the name I thought it was a food truck, but it was a shared building with a pick up/order window. The young lass at the window took my order and was friendly and helpful with my questions and even gave me some sauces to sample for my chicken sandwich which I ordered which came with a side of fries. (for a little extra you have the option to upgrade to tater tots if you wanted.) I also ordered the potato taco which came with cheese that looked like real shredded cheese. When I asked, she said the cheese was vegan cheese which was a relief to me. The chicken sandwich was amazing and scrumptious. There was cabbage and pieces of vegan chicken with amazing ranch-like sauce that tasted so good. With the fries it added more. The potato taco was very good which reminds me of the spicy potato soft taco in Taco Bell. I really enjoyed the food and there was a small place to next to the pickup window where people could lounge and eat. I would like to come here again and try or more options offered on the menu for sure.

Food was delicious and ready quickly. I also loved the pickup window and staff were extremely friendly. Impressed!

Had to hit up Vegan Van when in the area for some of the best vegan breakfast/comfort food! They have recently moved into a smaller location with an ordering window for to go, but the service was still spot on and food was great as always. My order came out quickly and I was able to wait in the car until it was ready. This time I had the McLovin with tots, and it hit the spot. Their vegan ranch is great as well and definitely makes the meal. I've also had their Crunchwrap, Tacos, and a few other items and they always bring just the right flavor! Recommend for a quick vegan bite when in the city.

Omg so delicious. You absolutely cannot go wrong. I chose the Caesar chicken wrap and was just in heaven. Only thing I might change is it was a touch too salty. LOVE everything here though and would love to come back!!

I've had their food, plenty of times before, but I never close to their shop. So, once I knew they were doing a pop-up on Saturdays currently at Queen City Coffee in Five Points, I knew I had to stop by. I got two Crunchwraps, thinking I would eat one tomorrow...that didn't work out! I'm not a fan of seitan so I got it without it and it was still very good, especially with the fire salsa. I had to wait less than 10 minutes and got my order to go. They gave me a sample of the salsa verde they were working on as well. Please add it to the menu! They are on Doordash, so if you ever get a craving, order the food. The nacho fry supreme is also amazing!

Little tricky to find the entrance of the restaurant but big seating inside. The receptionist was really good and provided good recommendations. Limited choices on drinks Crunch wrap - 5/5 - really tasty Fries nachos with beef - 5/5 - great taste and filling Beef taco - 3.5/5 - lacks flavor

Had the Crunchwrap supreme, s'mores cookie, and a drink. Fast preparation, good service, great size & value, very tasty. Had been meaning to try the vegan van for a while now and it did not disappoint!!

I love Vegan Van so much!!! This location felt so confusing to me, however the same great food and amazing staff as always!!! I purchased 2 plant based chalupas and it was DELISH!!!! I enjoyed ordering the food online and by the time I got there, it was ready to go. I'm so happy Vegan Van is expanding

The food is always amazing, especially the ham egg and cheeze. The breakfast specials are great too. Last weekend I had the pancakes and berries. Amazing! Just like the diner pancakes of my childhood. The only suggestion I have is the seitan. Today's bbq plate was so delicious, but the seitan wings are way too sweet. It's almost like a dessert. Overall, a great option for us plant loving peeps. I will keep coming back every Sunday. Yum!

2nd time at Vegan Van and I absolutely love it! Food is very fresh and the buffalo chicken caesar wrap is packed w/ flavor and greens...healthy and omgosh, fast! Ordered online and it was ready before I got there to pick it up! (get dressing on the side and save the rest for later!). Window staff is super friendly to boot! Have never eaten there...is there a dining room? Have never seen if there is one...

Love this place and these people. We're very lucky to have a vegan spot like this in Denver. Others have come and gone but they keep it going despite all the things thrown at them

Get your vegan buns down to the Vegan Van NOW! Their new Stevie Chix sandwich is amazing! The people who work there are the best. I am so please to support this wonderful family owned business and of course vegan food! Highly recommended, you will love their food and customer service.

We love vegan van where ever they go we go! They have recently opened back up very quickly!! And moved to a new location you can receive your food through a takeout window they don't have chairs and tables YET but you can always walk/drive to the 4 noses Brewery where you can enjoy your food and also grab a cold beer It's the perfect Combo!

A true testament to how offensively gross the food situation is in denver. I've gotten food from this place maybe 5 times because the vegan options in denver are so limited and horrible (besides mora pizza and somebody people and that kids table dude) and every time it literally doesn't even matter what you order because it all just tastes like melted plastic. These people have 0 business selling food for a living. It's also wildly expensive for seitan and tortillas.

I have been in Denver for 6 days and have been to this place three times. I had the pulled chicken sandwich with fries. The taco. The Crunchwrap and the chalupa. It was all delicious and even though I am a vegetarian I think anyone would love this food. Even the fries are amazing. It's a great place to hang out and eat too. Try the vegan van!!

I am back here to say I just needed to shout out the street tacos. Look - everything they make here is f***ing delicious, but I almost cried tears of joy when I bit into the street taco. Since I stopped eating meat years ago, I have not had a vegan street taco that came anywhere close to tasting like the real thing. (At other places, a vegan taco is almost always like - here's some cauliflower and sweet potato in a corn tortilla, oh and we made it outlandishly spicy! That's what you wanted right?) But nope, the Vegan Van street tacos are the real deal - they taste so, so much like the authentic street tacos I loved. Onions, cilantro, the perfect salsa, the perfect marinated meat taste and texture. I don't have a picture because I ate it so fast and then ran here to write this Yelp review. Vegan Van, I love you guys. You are magical.

It was just ok! I ordered a chalupa and it was overly seasoned and salty. I ate it because I was hungry but it was not good. Also, I order the fried chicken with the mash potatoes and I wasn't a fan of the taste. It was blah! I though the chicken was very good and it was crispy but everything else was a disappointment. Not sure if i recommend this place. I guess I would have to try other things in the menu but I don't know!

Amazing food, great deals, wonderful service! I love the easy access in Assembly Hall. I also really appreciate making popular fun food choices vegan friendly. Get you a Crunchwrap! Get two! Who can't pass up homemade vegan wings too?!? Also I've never had a corn dog until the Vegan Van and that's pretty darn special feeling to be included!!! You don't have to travel if you don't want to, they're on Ubereats :)

I came back for another crunchwrap and tried the lemon sugar cookies. Oh my god. better than non vegan ones I've had. I bought 3 and it wasn't enough. They're so good.

This place was sooooo good. I'm not vegan, but my friends are and we were all so surprised with how many options they had. The chubby fries, crunchwrap, and spicy potato taco were our favorites! we will definitely be back :)

Our first trip to Vegan Van's new location on Elati St. Everything was delicious as usual. I got the Ceaser Salad wrap and loved it. The coconut bacon and sunflower seeds add a lot of flavor to the salad. My friend got a crunchwrap and said it was really good. The dining room is huge with lots of chairs and tables. We will be back soon!

I've never had anything bad to say about this place but my experience yesterday was the absolute worst. waited 45 mins for an order that was placed to eat at the vegan van and watched them prioritize all of the to go orders. Once the to go orders were out of the way I went to check on my order since my buzzer hadn't gone off and my food was just sitting on the counter. It wasn't hot. The woman that helped us apologized and explained that we were caught in the middle of a big rush but I think time management goes a long way along with awareness of the customers that are sitting right in front of you. I used to come here a few times a month with friends and really enjoyed the food over the years but it seems like something is off since moving to the assembly student center. Guess this is what happens when you actually bother tipping.

Newly vegan! So I recommend this place for non vegans as well. I've been trying to find places that I can eat besides just juicing and eating vegetables and fruits because I do miss some of the old items that I used to eat. The vegan van is definitely a 10 out of 10 HIGHLY recommend. I recommend trying the chicken sandwich, the crunch wrap supreme, as well as the "sausage, egg and cheese" McMuffin, the service is great. Very nice space. I like that you can buy other items like cooking items as well. Very fast service. The only other place I can relate the vegan van to is native foods. ( for reference). Love this place! Try them out!

The food at Vegan Van is so delish I pretty much have it every week. They are constantly being creative and mixing up the menu with innovative and craveable eats that vegans and non-vegans both love, but if I had to eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be Vegan Van chubby fries and crunchwraps. I'm so so excited for the new menu expansion that will be possible now that they have a permanent location!! More importantly, the vibe at vegan van always puts me in a great mood because of the friendly and wonderful staff and owners. They really go the extra mile to make affordable vegan options available in Denver so that the vegan life is accessible to all, and their support of their community doesn't stop there. I love and appreciate that they served up food for a nonprofit event I coordinated - omnivores and veggies alike just loved the food, and they were a key part of making the event a success. Vegan Van is the stuff community is made of, get yourself some chubby fries ASAP.

You can't go wrong with vegan van. It's one of the most popular vegan places around for a reason. They are known for their crunch wraps and Taco Bell themed menus but they frequently switch it up with a KFC chicken menu, burgers and corn dogs. I love their chicken strips and the spicy Buffalo tofu wrap. I would eat here everyday if I lived closer. My husband isn't vegan but he loves their vegan Taco Bell.

Delicious definitely a must try nice clean friendly environment. Great place to sit down and have a nice breakfast or lunch.

Always love finding them around town or going to their main parking location. I have hit them when they did the arby's, taco bell, and burger mock ups. Love the crunch wrap, McLoven and pretty much everything else. Great food, great people. Order ahead option for pickup is always a plus because they stay busy.

Anyone who thinks about what money they have for food for the week should avoid this place at all costs. Only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the food wasnt bad. But the price I paid for it did not make me happy or satisfied with the food. In an apartment that is mostly for college students, $6 for a POTATOE taco is criminal. Food is average, service is average, and ambiance is basically like a empty 7/11. You are wasting money going here and I feel sorry for the students who have to suffer with an expensive vegan van as their only source of food in that building.

Love this place. Always a rotating menu of guilty pleasures. Pro tip, order ahead online since there isn't seating to eat or wait so plan to take your food to an era by parks, or if you are like me, eat in your car 'cause you can't wait ;). I don't remember the exact name but their version of a Crunchwrap Supreme and then a wicked good "hot dog" that had pasta salad and chips on it. Sooooo good!

So this is the second time I've tried to visit the vegan van. The first time about 2 months ago we drove over from the zoo during what they said was open hrs but they had closed down early or something. Today I drove over... they didn't have a menu so they wanted me to used their laptop during a pandemic? And, then once I ordered they said it would be 25-30 min. And that I should have ordered online. However, I tried to order online but their online ordering said it was not working. I've heard this place is great but 2 times and I have to go to them..., maybe some day when they get their act together. For now I won't chase the Vegan Van around. You've made it perfectly clear that my business isn't important enough to you to get your act together... no more.

We loveeeee the vegan van! Taco Bell week is our absolute fav but we also really enjoy KFC week. I am seriously addicted to their Gorditas. Addicted. I really appreciate how this food truck has regular hours & is easy to find! So many of the other vegan food trucks are like unicorns. I only wish they were a little closer to us!

My husband and I have been wanting to checkout The Vegan Van for awhile now... so dang glad we finally did! So much flavor, we ended up getting the whole Taco Bell menu and it was so delicious. The Burrito with Fritos was my favorite. Straight yummy vegan junk food if you are really just looking to indulge! Can't wait to try the next menu!!

No meat! I don't have to worry about looking at the ingredients here because there aren't any animal products. And yes their water is nice and cold.

it's vegan Taco Bell ! The crunch wrap was crunchy and full ! The Gordita had that same taste like Taco Bell . Get extra sauce ! The ranch is bomb .

They open at 11 except they didn't open till 11:45 and did not apologize once. We've been in line now for an hour and there are still 25+ people ahead of us. The girl taking orders feels the need to have these irrelevant small-talk conversations with every single person so she's averaging taking an order every 10-12 minutes as we're timing it. Since we've been here half of the line has actually left- that is half of your customers. There has still been no apology made by any of the staff. The order taker has no remorse whatsoever and could care less that there are people waiting for over an hour because of her. We frequent food trucks and this is the worse run truck by FAR the worst customer service we've ever experienced.

The food is amazing and freshly made. If you are in a hurry I would order ahead. It is also in the student building and has seating, just not like a traditional sit down restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Best vegan food on the planet! Their red velvet cookies are to die for so if you like dessert, check them out! Amazing food, super tasty and staff is always so friendly. Can't recommend enough! Oh and great music too.

Maps took us to the wrong place initially, but we figured out where they were. The van looked closed, but we called and they were open INSIDE the mar! Oh WOW, EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!! We had a Crunchwrap, spicy chicken sandwich, tots, corn dog, salad and fries. This was such fantastic food, and the pizza place next door was all vegan too, even though from the signage it was hard to tell. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!! But the only bummer was the wait was substantial at their "soft opening". Their customer service was good though, and I'm sure they'll figure it out.

The chalupa is my absolute favorite! Also their new location is convenient and haven't had any issues the past couple times I have visited. Thankful to have found them

I absolutely love Vegan Van. They rotate their menu so I've only had their breakfast McMuffin and Taco Bell crunch wrap supreme. Both were fire! They also sell holiday meals for those who want to share delicious vegan options with family members. They keep their social media up to date so definitely follow them on Instagram! They post daily on their story with menu offerings, meal deals, etc.

I had the carne asada fries because it was the only thing they had left. They sold out of food an hour early. It tasted good but was not what I would've ordered. They need to come better prepared for the hours they are going to serve. Prices are pretty steep as well. I'd say it was decent as far as food trucks go

Taco Bell is NOTHING compared to this Vegan Van food! Soooo delicious!!! They are nice there and give you fresh, best tasting vegan food that you would not believe is vegan! Wow!!!!!

This place is awesome, sometimes. Order ahead and expect it to be about 10-15 minutes late, even when not busy. I heard a lot about this place and their rotating menu, but I can't say I've seen it rotate often. About 90% of the time I check, it may as well be Vegan Taco Bell & McDonalds. There's been a small few times they changed it up, but when they do it's a real treat. If I could see more of a menu change I'd go all the time, but unfortunately any time I check back it's just Taco Bell & McDonalds again. If you haven't gotten sick of these options like I have, give them a try because they are awesome at first.

Do not walk, run. Tried this place on my last day in Denver and I am sad I didn't try it sooner. The Crunchwrap and chalupa were fire. Same with the hash browns. I also had the zebra cake and oatmeal cookie, fuego. I'll have dreams about the food here, friendly staff too.

Wanted to try this place for a while and I am terrible at stalking food trucks but the stars aligned and I happened to pass by it yesterday. Great menu -- everything sounded delicious. I had the Royale with Cheese -- really tasty. Their vegan burger was delicious and had a great texture. Also tried the Chubby Fries -- yums but a little too spicy for me tbh. Super friendly staff. Great food -- I brought a carnivore here and he seemed to enjoy the vegan burger as well. I think it's the sort of vegan fare that can be enjoyed by all.
