"Legendary plant-based chef Matthew Kenney transformed a former Del Taco into a completely vegan fast-food restaurant in 2021 and kept the drive-thru intact. Veg’d serves plant-based American fare with burgers, fries, smoothies, and more, like a kung pao bowl with cauliflower with tofu and zucchini. Morning bites include the breakfast sandwich with Just Egg, jack “cheese,” green chiles, avocado, Tater Tots, and green chile salsa." - Farley Elliott, Mona Holmes

Can't go wrong with homemade vegan stuff for very reasonable prices. I had the breakfast sandwich with eggs, a patty, and tater tots. I asked for some buffalo sauce which I added to the sandwich. I was genuinely satisfied. I actually skipped lunch by having only an apple but I do not feel hungry. The place is clean. Plenty of parking. The server was kind. No frills and no junk. This vegan fast food at best. Hooray to saving the world! I actually tasted the soft-serve, too. It was good enough!

I came in to try their burger and loaded tots. I thought the tots were really good. It's hard to believe it's not real cheese on them. The burger wasn't bad but the patty was a little soft. It's not firm like other Vegan burgers I've had. Service was good and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I would come back.

Simple vegan food that's pretty tasty! I've been for breakfast as well as for lunch. For the die hard vegans out there, they use Follow Your Heart cheese and not Daiya🙏🏽. The meat is homemade so it it's a bit mushy on the texture side but just ask for the burgers well done--great flavor though. Drinks and smoothies are on the small size, that's my only complaint. This location has a beautiful design inside and out and I'll be going here for breakfast in the mornings!

The food was delicious for fast food. Everything we got had lots of flavor and tasted better than expected, even the vegan cheese! Only note would be that 2 pieces of the tempura cauliflower were not fully cooked and had a bit of dough in the middle, but otherwise 10/10. The staff there are also very friendly and the space is very nice and kept clean.

Drive thru was really nice. Excellent service. The cauliflower bowl was good, but needed more bang bang sauce. Perfectly battered and cooked though. I’ll be back to try something else. Pricey, but good portions.

I grab coffee next door to this place every Thursday and I've been intrigued to try it. Tried it tonight. Went through the drive-thru, nobody answers, waited about 5 minutes(maybe they're busy?), no answer. Drive up to the window to a young girl i had to ask her if she heard us on the intercom, she wasn't aware her headphones died. No courtesy extended for waiting or asked what we wanted to order, so we come inside. Parking is easy. The girl at the window disappears, the poor cook in the back smiles at us while a younger tattood girl ignores us. The cook then runs to the back to find the disappearing girl. No greeting no acknowledgment, no social skills, so you can see where the customer service is at. We ordered the kung pao bowl and another cauliflower bowl and sweet potato fries. The bowls were really good portion sized, great mixed veggies, brown rice quinoa mix. The greens were too soggy because of way too much Kung pao sauce. Fries are overly seasoned, but they do have a nice crispy texture, would definitely ask for no salt. As far as the food in the bowl, it was heavily salted on the cauliflower pieces. The vibe inside was pretty depressing. The music is a tad bit too loud and it just doesn't go with the vibe they are trying to create.. The lighting is low but not romantic low it just doesn't match the logo. When I would see the logo driving by, it gave me a sense of its energetic in here, this place is great, but I didn't experience that. God bless that cook in the back (older Hispanic man) for smiling and acknowledging me and going to get someone to help us. This place could really do well if these minor things are addressed and the right people are hired. UPDATE: AUGUST 29, 2023 I was back in the area and I thought to give Veg'd one more try to see if operations had improved. It was night and day, I drove through the drive-thru kindly greeted asked about the Bang bang cauliflower bowl and asked about the sauce. A man came running out the back door towards me with a sauce cup and said, "you're gonna love it try it!". Amazing I mean, who comes to the drive thru to let you try the sauce so you can make a decision? That guy did!! I got the Bang bang bowl and an order of zucchini sticks with the ranch dilly sauce. I appreciated the gentleman who came out to give me a sample of the sauce thanked him and he smiled. When I drove up to pay I was greeted with a smile and hello and the grrl at the window was super sweet and kind, we even talked about the barbie movie. I asked her for a cup of water and told me about their amazing biodegradable pasta straws. I was blown away!!!! Paid for my food and bounced! At a glance the bang bang bowl seems like a really small serving, but no, its actually a perfect serving size. Cauliflower al dente and the sauce was pretty good. Lots of heat and smokeyness I think there's a good mix of maybe ginger, paprika and chili powder not sure but its got some creamy heat to it. The green onions were delicious and this dish might benefit from some cilantro. The cabbage give the bowl a great texture as well as the brown rice and grains. Loved this bowl. The zucchini was also al dente which was very delicious and paired well with the ranch dilly sauce. I only had a few pieces. If you like a lot of breading these are for you! Thanks Veg'd for leveling up! Will be back again.

I have no complaints. I decided to try out the Veg’d Burger since this was my first time here. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with it. I was pleasantly surprised, I’ve tried many plant based options and this one is really good! The fries were also amazing. We had a jam bar as well (which I didn’t get a picture of, we ate it so quickly) it was delicious! I can definitely see myself returning to try more tasty looking options here at VEG’D.

I can't say enough good things about how delicious this place is. As someone who grows organic vegetables and eats extremely healthy, this place is a complete blessing!! My favorite thing is the Blast Sandwich BLT OR the breakfast burrito with an extra side of tater tots!! Great way to eat healthy and stay fit.
