I love this Veggie Grill. I've been a regular patron since I went vegan about 8 years ago and have only had good experiences. The staff is really friendly, the restaurant is always clean and has such a relaxed vibe. It's my favorite spot to grab a laid-back lunch with friends (vegan and non-vegan!) or order pick up for an easy dinner. My order is always accurately and quickly prepared and there are a lot of great menu options. The rewards program is pretty good too, lots of great deals and they often have BOGOs on specials.

I am truly grateful for the vegan meal I had today. It brings me joy to know that there was no animal sacrifice involved in its preparation. The flavors were absolutely delightful, and I couldn't have asked for a more satisfying and nourishing experience. Thank you to the chef and everyone involved in creating this wonderful vegan feast. Your dedication to providing cruelty-free and delicious food is truly appreciated.

I been eating here for past 3 years. Food kind of change, the burgers but overall it is one of the best places in West Coast to eat at if you like plant based fast food. LA has changed since covid but hey, download their app and save a little. Enjoy.

It's alright, I wouldn't be racing to go here again. Food is usually pretty bland. Carrot cake is delicious though. I got truffle mac n cheese and the steakhouse burger

We love this location! The food is always delicious and fresh! The customer service is wonderful!! Willie is always smiling and so kind. We try new things when we go in and he always recommends delicious items!

Serious Allergy Warning -- Avoid if You Have Tree Nut Allergies If you have food allergies, especially tree nut allergies, do not eat at this location. Despite clearly noting my tree nut allergy when placing my order, I still experienced what appeared to be cross-contamination. I ordered the Santa Fe Crispy Chicken with sweet potato fries and chipotle ranch -- none of which contain tree nuts as ingredients. However, shortly after eating, I had an allergic reaction. When we called to address it, the shift lead insisted that none of the items I ordered had tree nuts (which I already knew), and dismissed the possibility of cross-contamination by saying "we clean everything." I've worked at Veggie Grill before -- I know what's supposed to happen in the kitchen versus what actually happens, and that response felt like a rehearsed brush-off rather than real concern. Thankfully, I had Benadryl on hand and avoided a trip to the ER, but it was a close call. If you or someone you're ordering for has severe food allergies, I strongly urge you to avoid this location. The risk simply isn't worth it. Oh and in case anyone was wondering, no offer for a refund on the half eaten dinner either.

Veggie Grill probably offers the most options out of any plant-based restaurant I have been to and their portions are pretty good for the price! I used to eat Veggie Grill before the one is San Diego closed and even their salads are good! While driving north, I was ecstatic to find a VG and try their Mas Veggies menu. I ordered a Carne Asada and Tejani Taco, as well as a junior burger. The flavors in both tacos was insane! So juicy and tasted incredible. My boyfriend, who isn't vegan, tried the VG Classic ChzBurger and said it far surpassed his expectations. I'm not sure what they use in their house-seasoned patty, but it is delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and ready in a timely manner. While some of the silverware was a little dirty, the restaurant was pretty well maintained. I wish I could eat here all the time!

Black lettuce, old. Thank god i asked for dressing on the side. I took a few bites and noticed some brown ribs . Flipped it into a bowl and it was worse .i sure hope i dont get sick from this. I am so dissapointed , i was giving them a second chance after a poor meal before. But looks like im never going back. The quality here has gone down so much.

Been here once years ago and decided to try again. I didn't really explore the menu until now and I'm so glad I did. There were so many different options to choose from. My partner and I decided to get a few items to get a taste of everything in one sitting. We ordered the fish tacos, steak quesadilla, chicken caesar salad, and sweet potato fries. Everything was soooo goood!! I ended up ordering salad again togo because the dressing was fire. The pricing was decent because of the quality of the food and presentation. Portion was decent but is still good enough amount to fill you up. We even got a dessert cake from the app, which was offered upon checking out points --it was a pleasant surprise, and might I add very delicious carrot cake! Overall, pleasant experience. Best of all the staff were SO AMAZING and FRIENDLY. I cannot thank them enough for being so patient and attentive. Very well mannered and polite. They bring the food to you as well as the togo order. They also were bussing/cleaning the tables quickly and efficiently. I can tell the staff here care and work very hard. This review is from less than two weeks ago and I just came back here again the other day to try the nachos, and it was so tasty! It came out fast and hot. This spot definitely seasons their food and adds a lot of flavor. Will be a continuing patron of the business. Good service, good food, and decent quality.

I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival. I had ordered the Sonoran Bowl with Asada Mushrooms. It was EXCELLENT! I will definitely order it the next time, though there are so many great options. The dining room was spotless, as was the drink and utensil station. I loved the entire experience.

I haven't been able to eat too much so I T tried their kids meal. I got the Mac and cheese which was very interesting I like it. Came with some mango cubes, a cookie and a surprisingly large drink which was a yummy strawberry lemonade. Love all the portions and how they provide a variety. The kiddos would love it I sure did! 10/10 definitely recommend. Fast and friendly service. Tons of seating inside and some outside very clean restaurant.

First time having Veggie Grill and it was SO GOOD! I got the Caesar Crunch Salad, which was delicious. The dressing tasted homemade. I've never had a Caesar salad with kale as one of the main greens, and was pleasantly surprised! The texture added a nice crunch to it. Leaves were very fresh too. The capers in the salad elevated the flavor. Will definitely be coming back!!

This location has been a bit or a miss for us the last few times we've been here but in this particular visit it's been a hit :). The restaurant is located in the AMC theatre plaza so there's always more then enough parking. We decided to try the Santa Fe chicken sandwich, kale salad which were both amazing. Love the spicy sauce that came w the sandwich (I asked for extra on the side) and there's pieces of mango on the salad that was a plus! We also ordered our usual VG Classic double Patties, kimchi steak bowl and crispy cauliflower: these are my go tos as you can't go wrong with them :) The service was extremely good today. I hope they'll remain this level every time I come as this location is the closest to me :)

I got the loaded burrito as my birthday freebie. It was easy to order for pickup on the app. The only thing I didn't like is that I asked for mild salsa, and it looked like they gave me hot sauce. And the burrito was too spicy to share with my two year old child. I didn't realize that Baja sauce is spicy. I wish there was some warning on the menu that would tell you what is spicy or not.

I've been a a big fan of veggie grill for years. They have absolutely great bowls all the time. This particular place is nice. They have outdoor seating and lots of tables inside. Staff has always been amazing. Parking is easy. The app works for me!

I ordered the steak kimchi bowl. It was great! The squash could be cooked a little more. I ordered a side of homemade lentil soup. It was good but not what I expected. It reminded me of chili but I still enjoyed it. Environment was casual sit down with an outside patio. Service was fast. Staff is friendly. The only downside is I feel like that the menu items are a little pricey.

TRASH FOUND INSIDE MY BURITTO Was once a faithful customer because of how close it was to home. However on 11/9/24, the Mrs and I ordered a meal to go. At home while eating my Loaded Burrito, I was complaining to my wife about how poorly it was wrapped. Little did I know that Fully Loaded meant fully loaded...with garbage. A condiment cup full of discarded avocado and pepper jack cheese chunks fell out of my burrito mid bite. I was so incensed that I had to let my anger subside before returning to the restaurant. After taking my entire order back and explained what happened the manager offered to remake the meal. Seriously?! You think I want to eat here again? You'd think a refund would be the first suggestion after finding literal garbage wrapped inside of my food. I declined the offer and was given a full refund. I filed a complaint with the health department and will NEVER return. Oh, corporate gave me a $15 credit for the inconvenience. How cute. The one bright spot was an employee whose name I don't remember who always recognized me and my wife. But yeah, never again.

Yes, the food is delicious and fresh! But the customer service here is why we keep coming back. Willie is always so sweet, patient and professional! Goes over the menu and always has great suggestions. Location is always clean! We love it here!

Just about everything on the menu except for their Mac and cheese is pretty tasty, well seasoned and the options are there for everyone to find something on the menu. Most of the staff here are very friendly especially the two guys who work the counter. Great energy and always make great suggestions. Definitely a favorite local spot. It's always clean when I've come in.

My daughter and our friends love the food at the Veggie Grill. We all enjoy the steak sandwich which was wonderful and the wonderful sweet potato fries. I have the Java jolt organic superfoods smoothie and it woke me up! The food is healthy for you so it doesn't get any better than that for me and my friends!!

It was an enjoyable experience. They bring the food over to you. That alone is amazing service. Food wise it just has that Baja Fresh/chain experience where the food is good and healthy and makes you feel good about yourself. The food isn't mind blowing but its still very good for a healthy meal.

I went to Veggie Grill yesterday and ordered the "Cali Power Bowl" with Crispy Chick'n. It was DELICIOUS. I wish the bowl came with more sauce on the side and more chick'n because I paid $5 extra for it. Other than that, I enjoyed the food and experience.

Maybe we just went at the perfect time of day? No line, AMAZING SERVICE, short wait for our food, lovely view and outdoor seating with perfect weather! Usually I leave Veggie grill still hungry even after I finish my entire meal, but this time, everything was perfect.!

Yay for veggies! I am surprised this came up on the yelp as a suggestion to review since I have dined in + had several delivery orders. I must say everything here I've had here has been solid. Before the pandemic when my husband and I used to dine in person, the customer service has always been top notch. As busy as they were, we were always greeted with smiles and attentive, VIP-style customer service. I've had numerous orders by delivery since the pandemic hit. Most recently, we've had the buffalo and 7 layer burritos from the not so secret menu. Both amazing! For sides the mac and cheese and sweet potato fries were delish. Gotta have the chipotle sauce with the sweet potato fries. Other times we have had the VG Beyond Burgers as well as carrot cake for dessert. All very tasty! VG is a great organization. At their website, they have opportunities to donate so that plant based meals can be provided to vulnerable communities such as shelters, centers, and first responders. Way to go VG!

Ugh how much money have I spent here I love the food. Yeah sometimes they miss ingredients that are key to the edible item I purchase lol but they are kind enough to help me out. I need more already Dx

Fantastic! It's a rediscovery since it's been a while since I last dined here. I just started my quest for Vegan meals. Veggie Grill will be on my regular rotation as I'm switching it up a few times a week. I can't give up red meat altogether. Well, at least not yet. I purchased two meals here, the Burger and the Chicken Sandwich. The Chicken sandwich was in my fridge for a few days and it was still amazingly great! Oh and I had the sweet potato fries which were really delish! Definitely recommend and was glad to see there was no soy in the burger.

Food was amazing. Alot different from last time I was here. The burger I had was tooooo spicy but this time I love and enjoy my food big different. Note: please check the temperature of your ac it was too cold inside.

DELICIOUS!!! Great job chef :-) The truffle mac and cheese had just the right amount of truffle. The breading on the buffalo cauliflower was perfect as was the buffalo sauce. The Beyond Meat on the quesadilla was smoky and delicious, the order was ready for pick up on time, and the meal was exceptional. Highly recommended!!!

After seemingly seeing the double bbq mac burger all over the place (emails, ads, phone ... heck, at the time of the writing of this review, it's the main photo of this business), I decided to treat myself. And yes, I know food from Veggie Grill won't taste as out of this world as the meat-serving places I tend to frequent, and I've come to expect it will be on the pricier side. Still, after seeing the ads and after spending $15, I just expected it to be more ... well, more. I mean, not like I expected there to be mac and cheese plus all sorts of sauce dripping off like in the pics. But to be greeted with 8 little pieces of macaroni that barely covered half the patty plus only enough sauce to hold the mac in place, I was quite underwhelmed. The only thing that fell off the sides of the sandwich when I picked it up was some lettuce. Stick to the tried and true menu items that you've been getting for years, people.

My sister Annie and niece Chanel have been to every Veggie Grill in the Southern California area in the last 5 years and with the exception of the recently closed West Hollywood location the food and service has always been exceptional ! Our recent experience at the Torrance location was no exception. That being said we want to single out one employee in particular - Isabella M went out of her way to make sure our visit was special with her warm personality and the great service that she provided ! She just went above and beyond ! Veggie Grill is a place that we go to that's safe, familiar and consistently delivers on every level ! And this location is one of the best ! Will definitely be back ! 5 stars !

This is particularly for the wonderful Bitchin Nachos on special right now. They're great. Period. As good as anything we've had recently, and we were eating vegan Mexican food in AZ. I am impressed, Veggie Grill, and keep on innovating vegan creations, please. It makes us so happy!!

I ordered the buffalo "chicken" sandwich, which I'd describe as acceptable. The flavor was okay, and the meat replacement was enjoyable enough. However, the prices are quite high for what you get. Just a few years ago, Veggie Grill was special. When a chain restaurant with convincing meat substitute was a relative rarity, I'd be more forgiving. However, with the explosion of "Impossible" and "Beyond" products, and other health-conscious dietary trends, it's not that special anymore. On this trip, we decided to dine indoors, and the overall vibe was a little depressing. Not sure if it was the empty dining room, the harsh cool white lighting, or the excessive A/C.

Ugh. That's how I feel each time I come here. Regret. Remorse. No thank you. I want to like it being a vegan. But the meals are overpriced for what you get and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I have given it 4 tries. No more. Never again!

Get the Southwestern Nachos! They are really good! I've also tried their Cesar salad and the flavors were amazing! Tried the Nashville Hot Chicken, wasn't that great to me. I have found that I personally do not like fake "chik'n". The Vegan carrot cake was pretty average, not amazing but not nasty. Overall it's a nice spot if you want to grab lunch real quick and eat vegan!

Don't miss the meat at all. Great fries and fresh food. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner

Looking for a snack, had the sweet potato fries and have to save their decent. Staff is really nice and I appreciated the multiple sanitation stations in the restaurant. Pricing is a bit high but you don't feel that weighed down feeling after eating fried food.

Jesus was very helpful and kind. I had the dbl bbq hamburger and it was very good. Came with mac n cheese, not a fan, but I'll come back because of the service and try other things.

They have a great menu with plenty of variety. My favorites are their bowls and sandwiches especially the Banh mi and Reuben.

Reducing 1 star... Not all things are equal. Just grubhubbed another lunch and it was just okay. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (2): Maybe my expectations were set way to high from their other amazing offerings but this sandwich was pretty meh. When I think Nashville Hot, I think spicy. Unfortunately this was not spicy. I also think crispy. This was not. The bun was nice. The patty was veggie and tasted like chicken, but I would just call this a chicken sandwich with coleslaw. Quit leading me on! Sweetheart Fries (4): These were good. Sweet potato fries nicely crisped and not too thick. I still like this place a lot. I'm just gonna avoid this chicken sandwich next time and stick with the faves.

After my physical today where my doctor told me I had to start eating more veggies and less meat/carbs, I grudgingly went to Veggie grill and had a surprisingly delicious "chicken" sandwich & fries! I know. I know (The fries) but I'm making baby steps. As an even more shocking surprise, the employees generally seemed happy to work there & helpful. Lots of smiles + they pick up your plates after you eat. I tried to clean up but they didn't let me! In this post pandemic world, it was so nice to be in a restaurant with genuinely helpful & cheerful employees. Maybe they get paid better than other places or they have better managers/training/benefits but whatever it is, it was great!

What a delightful surprise! We tried the Veggie Grill for lunch today - some of us were skeptics. We are all fans now! From the bao to the bowls to the cauliflower bites to the sandwiches - everyone was extremely pleased! We will definitely be back!

We were told that everything is vegan. Seriously surprised they offer so many delicious items and they're ALL VEGAN. Great food! Very fresh! From all the food items disguised as poultry or steak to the actual vegetable items. This place is great for everyone, even if your not a veggie or vegan kinda person!

I enjoyed my meal AND I wouldn't pay to eat here. I got the Harvest bowl with tempeh. They didn't include the ancient grains. And then the description doesn't say anything about a dressing so I didn't ask for dressing on the side like I normally do, and I thought the dressing was tooo much. It was very sweet. I would've added about half. The bowl had good ingredients and dressing was fine if it had been in a more moderate quantity. My main reason I wouldn't pay to eat here is the amount of food for the money. My bowl was $17 or $19 before tax, and I finished it (no leftovers) and was still a little hungry. If it had had the ancient grains like it was supposed to, probably woulda been more filling? But even then, for being fast casual, $20 feels pricey. Got this to go so can't comment on ambiance. It does get bonus points for having compostable bowl and recyclable top. And for having gf tempeh!! That was the highlight. If you're gonna add a protein, I really liked the tempeh.

Ok - I have a new favorite: The Crabcake Sandwich. You won't believe it's not crab. I've gotten it that last 7 times I've gone to Veggie Grill. And be sure to try the Cali-mash potatoes - the gravy is insanely good. This Veggie Grill location is my favorite - has great service and the staff is always very pleasant.

Horrendous We won't be back. What happened veggie grill??? You started assuming people will forget what you used to serve?? Kids Mac and cheese- no salt. Cardboard Japanese katsu sliders- the Japanese must be rolling with laughter.... V bad service too.

Food is good here I had the kimchi "steak" bowl and switched the rice for quinoa. Super yummy! BUT this review is for the service! Jesus was great helping me out ordering, He was really welcoming and approachable. Great experience thanks to Jesus.

Absolutely love the place and I've eaten here since the week it opened. But word for the wise, they change their policy recently and will not take orders or dine ins after 8:45 pm. Super bummer.

The masala curry bowl is so delicious. It doesn't have the strong taste of curry. It tastes more "lemonish" I ordered the crispy "chikin" to go with it. A very generous portion.
