I hate to be writing this review as a former 8-year weekly customer, but this place has gone downhill. I don't know if it is new ownership/pizza makers, ingredients, or what, but every pizza we have gotten recently has been a greasy soggy mess.
What is unforgivable is the way they treat long time customers. Our first call they were kind enough to send us a new pizza. Unfortunately it was the same soggy greasy mess. They also sent us a free brownie which was appreciated! However, when we called back to request a refund for the second pizza as we needed to find food elsewhere, we got argued with, told that they made the best pizzas, and that they were making us another one. We said we did not want to waste more food, and after having multiple bad pies were not interested in another. More argument. Finally I told them my only option was to chargeback the order if they wouldn't refund. It was only then they refunded, with some nasty parting words and asked me to never order there again. Right, as if I would after that.
You could have handled this differently and saved a customer. We tried to give you honest helpful feedback on why a customer who loved your pizza for years was dissatisfied, and you decided being right was more important. I used to sing Venice's praises to clients, friends, and family, and now I'm going to have to correct my recommendation moving forward, which stinks, because you guys used to make the best pizza in NH, bar none.
