Venture X Charleston - Garco Mill

Only a visitor, but I'm thoroughly impressed. Very clean, quiet and accommodating. My client rents a space and loves it!

I've been renting office space at Venture X for about 9 months and I love my office! Besides the beautifully renovated factory being the coolest building in the neighborhood, the workspace is open and bright with lots of plants and artwork. Neighbors are respectful and friendly and the staff are lovely and helpful. It's easy to find a smiling face for a quick chat but its also easy to find privacy when you need some. Regularly scheduled community events contribute to a fun and laid back work environment. 10/10

Highly recommend this co working office! It was a big step to leave my home office to join Venture X but I am so glad I did. I believe it was my best business move of the year. The networking and community in itself is a huge benefit. The staff is great and are always creating cool office events, booze carts, Christmas parties, pancake breakfasts, you name it. Very impressive office suits to wow your clients. Oh and if that’s not enough walk right out your front door to the brewery and all the restaurants in Park Circle! Worth every penny. Awesome place keep up the good work!

Pleasant and natural light filled space that's well run. There's ample parking in a lot right outside the front door, and food trucks that come by for lunch time. In a repurposed brick building just a block from the main drag in Park Circle, it's an easy commute from West Ashley. A variety of work spaces, rotating art displays, and a nicely equipped kitchen create an environment conducive to getting work done.

This is a great space that I would recommend to any business owner, professional, student or creative. Whether you're looking for a new place for your business, need a chic spot for an important meeting, or you simply need a respite from your normal work environment, VentureX will not disappoint. I rented an office temporarily for a workplace transition and soon decided I wanted to be here long term. It's 100% turnkey, supplies included, completely new, and the girls running the show are great. They will get you whatever you need and are constantly lining up unique concierge services for members, as well as special events to show their appreciation. I've never had someone bring an adult beverage cart around any place I've worked before. 5-star. Don't forget it's walking distance from several great restaurants in Park Circle. Give it a try and you'll be impressed.

My company are renting some temporary offices there and the place is amazing. Love to work there. All clean, open spaces to work and great atmosphere.

I set up an appointment with Byrdie Thagard to tour and take advantage of a free trial week at the Charleston SC location. Byrdie was professional and extremely knowledgeable of the services offered at the CHS location. She gave me a tour, introduced me to several current clients and made me feel welcomed! Byrdie asked very detailed questions to provide a solution that would fit my needs as opposed to spending time on solutions that would not work or fit my desired outcome. The facilities were clean, very well maintained and an welcoming atmosphere. If you are currently searching for a community office or other type of workspace, Byrdie and VentureX are who you need to contact!

For anyone who may be thinking of leasing office space in a plain vanilla space without excellent coffee, great surroundings near Park Circle in the GARCO Building with excellent furnishings and things like copying provided STOP and think wouldn't it be great to have no headaches. Look here at an exceptionally well located space and let management know I sent you. This is the solution.

Love it here! Been using the coworking membership for several months now. It's an easy option for those who work remotely and need to get out of the house. Lots of different seating options, always some kind of food event going on and super helpful staff.

if there were ten stars I would give that. Not great but fantastic experience! Today, my work site was closed due to inclement weather, I needed a coworking space ASAP, to complete an important training. I was greeted warmly when I first came in and explained my situation. They gave me lay of land answered any questions I may have had and showed me a quite working area where I could do my training. 8 hrs. later training was completed and I was able to work in quiet conditions. The decor and accommodations are very nice and modern. Kitchen area is lovely and it's easy to find everything within the building. The employees were so nice and answered any questions I had throughout the day. Also plenty of ample parking. Overall a great CO workspace and I would encourage anyone in town or out of town to use Venture X. Thanks again Venture X for helping me out at the 11th hour, sincerely appreciate it and can't wait to use you again and tell other of your services.

So this is a nice space. For those of you who work from home and need a space outside of home that isn't crowded with a lot of foot traffic this is lovely spot to come and work. They have individual offices and individual desks that you can purchase on a month to month basis for use, but they also have community space that you can utilize. There a good amount of it, and its more budget friendly. The community membership allows you to be there during business hours, while the other options I believe give you a key fob to be able to access the building at any time. Im unsure of options for wifi, as I was only offered a guest network. I would hope that they have a secure option but am unsure. The space is very BRIGHT. When I worked a lab, I was used to this light, but since working from home for the past two years in mostly lower warm light, the brightness of this space was a little too much for me, but there are spaces you can sit with mostly natural light to work off of, so thats a plus. Its clean, lots of coffee/tea options. I am still considering a membership as this is something that is just nice to have and not needed. Would recommend.

Venture X is a great space to work in. They take care of their members with amenities, events and treats, plus negotiated discounts at several other businesses around the neighborhood. The building is really nice, well-ventilated (important in covid times), modern, with ample space, and the people are very friendly and responsive to anything you need.

I have been at Venture X in Charleston since it opened! I love it for its fresh, clean, and beautiful atmosphere. It's in walking distance from a few breweries and restaurants in Park Circle and has great weekly social events!
