"A former textile mill in North Charleston is being transformed into a two-story, mixed-use restoration that will include a 20,000-square-foot food hall and creative office space inside the massive red brick warehouse; it’s located in Park Circle at 4845 O’Hear Ave. Developers behind the Cigar Factory and Atlanta’s globally renowned Krog Street Market teamed up on the redesign, and the food hall portion will feature 16 vendors, an outdoor pavilion, and ample parking. The project is expected to mirror the Atlanta version—which touts over 20 market stalls and six James-Beard–nominated chefs—and the partnership hopes culinary-driven stalls firmly rooted in local offerings will attract North Charleston business park workers and the hipster contingency flocking to Park Circle, helping to solidify Park Circle as a focal food destination." - Parker Milner
