i first stumbled upon verdant bread at the matthews farmers market and happily bought a baguette, then my mind was blown when i got home to try it.
i definitely couldn't wait to have another one, so i was ecstatic to find out that their brick-and-mortar is 5 minutes away from me
when you walk in, there isn't really anywhere to go since the counter's right at the door. it's pretty neat how you can see where everything is made from the counter!
what i had:
sourdough baguette - 5/5 // i've had a lot of bread in my life, so i was shocked at how amazing their baguette was. i don't really know how to explain it - all of the different textures & flavor tasted so fresh! i can definitely tell they're made with love.
i also enjoyed the energy of the people who have helped me so far at both the market and their brick-and-mortar. looking forward to try their country loaf, whole wheat pullman loaf and other goodies one day since i'll definitely be back!
