Instantly recognizable by the floor-to-ceiling grow walls, the coffee house is a welcome respite for the area's professionals - both creative and otherwise. Other notable features include concrete floors inlaid with a bespoke chevron pattern and custom wood and steel furnishings. "The Santa Cruz–based roaster closed its Downtown LA Spring Street cafe on June 1, marking the end of a decade in the neighborhood; the Spring Street location opened in January 2015 and served a signature lineup of coffee drinks made with its own beans, as well as pastries and juices from Juice Served Here. In an Instagram post the team wrote, "While the evolving landscape of Downtown has made it no longer sustainable for us to continue operating at this location, we remain deeply committed to our LA community."
