An Unpleasant and Disappointing Experience**
My recent visit was a significant letdown and does not live up to the hype. For a high-end bar, the service we received was shockingly poor and rigid.
The issues began when intense light from outside was shining directly into my friend's eyes. We politely asked a staff member if it was possible to adjust the blind slightly for comfort. She refused, stating it would "ruin the bar's image," and proceeded to readjust it to its original position.
The same staff member then came to our table and shushed us with a finger-to-lips gesture, telling us to be quiet. This was incredibly condescending, especially as other tables were just as loud. We would like to remind the management that this is a bar selling alcohol, not a library.
To add insult to injury, the same employee later told us we were not allowed to dance. My friend was simply dancing in place within our own designated area, not disturbing any other guests. On a previous visit, another bartender had explicitly said dancing was allowed, with the only rule being no "breakdancing" or moves that could cause a hazard.
This staff member's consistently authoritarian and unwelcoming behavior completely ruined our evening. When a group spends a significant amount of money (over 10,000 baht for five people) and is treated like misbehaving schoolchildren, it leaves a lasting negative impression. We will not be returning.
