Fantastic all-around, has such a good environment and energy. All day happy hour Mondays and just generally good prices. I don’t think you could find a more laid back space.

This place is a gem! Amazing vibes, customers, and nice snacks too! We spend time at the bar top and got amazing service.

“No Anger” is the motto here, Ive come sad and always left happy n drunk. One of my fav bars in Denver! Drinks reasonably priced. Food menu has a Mediterranean flare but their no frills burger ($12 special Sundays) and Wings slap. Great fries too. Delicious hummus.

I stopped by Vesper Lounge on Sunday for the burger and beer special. I was dining alone and placed my order with the server. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked for an update and was told, “it should be out soon.” Meanwhile, I watched several other tables who arrived after me get their food, finish eating, and leave. Another 30 minutes passed before the server informed me that my ticket never went through. He said the food would be out shortly, and I waited yet another 30 minutes before it finally arrived. As someone who works in the service industry, I understand mistakes happen but waiting over an hour and a half for a burger, with no proactive communication until I asked, reflects poorly on the service. The server walked past me several times without checking in, which made the experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Vesper Lounge based on this visit.

We went to Vesper's for their sunday special, a burger and a beer for $12. The burger was good, the fries were great, and the price was amazing! This is a fun hang-out place with good food, and you can't ask for more than that.

I've been here a billion times and haven't left a review. This is egregious and I'm now rectifying this situation. Great local "dive bar". Food is so much better than you think it will be. Get the sliders and the dips. Trust me. The staff is wonderful. Bartenders Jake, Spencer, James, Anna, Paige, Shane will take great care of you. And don’t forget Eagle superfan Jesse. and Jessie! It's a Bonnano concept so you know you'll have a good time.

Female bartender was extremely rude, hostile, and unwelcoming to the point where we left and waited outside for our food that we already ordered. We'll never be back again, shocked at how we were treated after putting in a decent sized order. If we hadn't already ordered food, we would have just left immediately. Please train your bartenders on how to treat your patrons with respect and decency.

One of the top 5 bars in Denver, in my opinion. The staff is on point every time, the prices are very fair, and the cheap beer selection is great! Food is really solid and served late which is really appreciated. Thanks Vesper!!!

Jake wow. What a bartender. I was asking a few questions as a bartender myself about the drinks and not only was he able to multitask while he answered my questions but he was able to talk me down different liquors. Jake was amazing he really cares about what he's doing and is truly passionate about craft cocktail making. Also been here a few times first time writing a review also first time trying the food. Tasty, inexpensive food (particularly during happy hour) and lots of seating (inside and out) with amazingly attentive and responsive service. It felt a little like a college bar populated entirely by older folks who didn't realize they weren't still in college. The drinks were good, especially for the happy hour prices. Totally worth a stop - not in any way fancy, but clearly run very well.

Vesper Lounge is a fun little spot for dinner. A lot of outdoor seating. The inside is very dark. The food was all delicious but took a very long time to come out.

One of our favorite neighborhood bars! They have a great happy hour. It's a chill, dive-bar vibes place, great location, they have plenty of outdoor seating (dog-friendly), the servers are always great. Their food is like bar-food but with a unique twist. Try the gyro, pita with dips, and cauliflower wings.

Best falafel I have had in the city so far. I loved the outdoor seating and walkability to other places.

I got the lamb pita and the trio of dips. The lamb Peter was very good. I feel like the dips are rather small in size. Baba ghanouj was OK but seem to have a lot of hard peel in it. But it's still a good Mediterranean takeout.

This place is underrated and I hope it stays that way. Their drinks are strong and their food is tasty. I had a gyro last time I was here and it hit the forking spot! Yum. I would 100% go back for more gyros and other treats on their menu. Big fan!

When I first moved to Colorado I read some article about Vesper being one of the best dive bars in Denver and didn't know what to expect. I think their food is delicious in addition to having a low key vibe and ability to be served quickly! It's a shame the street isn't entirely shut down anymore but that shouldn't stop you from coming and they still have outdoor seating and comfy booths. They have a great happy hour (recommend the burger slider) and I have loved their baba ganoush, juicy D burger!, and their fries with the delicious seasoning that always turns my fingers a little yellow but so worth it.

What a great place! Definitely dive bar vibes, but that's what makes it's so great. So casual and laid back, everyone is so nice and so attentive. I definitely recommend coming out for happy hour. Great deals on drinks and snacks. The fries with the harissa aioli are sooooo good and came out hot and fresh every time.

The Juicy Lucy is amazing! Fries are uniquely seasoned and their sauces and gyro are great too! Great service and fun atmosphere too

Located right by Trader Joe's. This place offers bar food too. I sat on a patio table outside so I didn't see the inside. Their only non alcoholic option besides soda was a homemade grapefruit soda. I honestly hated it. 100% not worth the $5, it just tasted like plain club soda.

We were stopping in for a drink before having dinner at a nearby restaurant. We walked in and there were 2 spots at the bar right by the door and we asked if the seats were taken. Both the bartender and the patron sitting next to the seats hesitated and then said go ahead. Not sure about the hesitation, just seemed odd. We glanced over the drink menu and went with two whiskey cocktails that they have on tap that they pour over ice. They were on happy hour to our surprise when we received the bill. One drink I cannot pronounce and cannot find on their menu online was interesting but a bit harsh. As my husband would say, we would have been there all night if I was drinking it taking a little sip each time. The other was the old fashioned. It was a pretty good old fashioned for being on tap premade. Not bad. I would go back for this drink during happy hour. We didn't eat there but I looked over their happy hour bites and they all sounded good and fairly priced. Other than that the music was good in my opinion. The staff seemed a little standoff ish. Maybe because we aren't regulars. It seemed like a regulars type bar. I'll be back for that food though and check it out.

We did not come in for the food on this visit, but the drinks were priced really well and it's definitely a free pour bar. Service was not the most outstanding I've had but I'm sure if we became regulars here, it would improve. Inside is dark and gives that dive bar feel, but if the weather isn't crazy hot, you can sit out on 7th under the tent and enjoy the breeze.

Pretty packed when I went on a weeknight. Service was fine but I have to say, I had the worst dirty martini I've ever had. Not sure of the mix but just a cloudy mess with no real brine flavor. Disappointing

This place has good price for happy hours Food and drinks were ok. Didn't like the dressing on my wings but it was of good portion. Other wraps were bite size

Just moved into a place right across the street from here, saw a bunch of fire pits on and figured I'd give it a try. Did not disappoint, food & drinks were bussin & priced really good for the area. Has a dive bar feel to it, 10/10 would recommend.

Great happy hour! Went here for happy hour this weekend and was really impressed!! Happy hour is from Open-6pm from Tuesday-Sunday and all day on Monday's. I love when restaurants do happy hour on the weekend. The snacks and drinks were all really tasty and cheap. We got a few of the dips with pita, french fries, and the draft cocktails. All were delicious! They have a big tent outside with some fireplaces scattered throughout, it still looked really cold out there though. Glad we got a seat inside. Hopefully they are able to get some more heaters for the winter because the tent looked like it would fit a lot of people! Would recommend Vesper Lounge if you're looking for a low key but tasty happy hour- on any day of the week!

There version of a juicy Lucy is delicious. Great burgers. Love the vibes here. The crudités is a fun underrated snack option you never see at a bar or restaurant.

We were staying at the Warwick and walked the 10 blocks to the Vesper Lounge which has indoor and outdoor seating. Our server, James, was delightful and the bartender made us the Vesper cocktail which is the house specialty. It had both vodka and gin, can be served on the rocks. The sister restaurant,Luca, serves it as a martini. We had a serving of hot wings, spicy, very good. The cocktails look great at this place. We would love to come back. They make their own ginger beer, mixers, etc. it's amazing cocktails in a super casual environment. We didn't want to leave, but we had reservations at Luca, so we continued the party around the corner! We will try to get back to Vesper again soon!

Dive bar feel, where I expected we'd get some drinks but not stay for dinner. The food menu is even titled "snacks for drinkers". But by far their best menu item is the warm, soft pita. We got the pita trio (you pick your 3 spreads, my favorite was baba ganoush) and kept the pita party going with the shaved lamb pita. Service was pretty slow, but nice set-up with the fire pit tables under their outdoor tent. Come for the cheap drinks but stay for the pita.

These burgers hit hard. They also know how to cook medium rare, sometimes hard to find. Not at all greasy, full of flavor and good! FWIW this burger is MUCH better than the one a couple doors down

The best way I can think to describe this place is upscale dive bar. Good drinks and good bar food. vesper cocktail is delicious. They don't have an extensive menu but it's enough to have some options and seems to be healthier than the average "bar food" selection. Their fries are unique, I usually order them without the seasoning. Service is a bit slow when you sit at a table but they don't try to pretend this place is something that it's not. Regardless, this is a chill spot I'll keep coming back to. Outdoor setup is nice and very dog friendly

Well drinks are cheap and good. Met some friends here and greatly enjoyed the cozy vibes, banter with the waiter and 5 or 6 whiskey gingers.

Man this place is the perfect spot if you like dark and divey without the despair. Great for late night eats and drinks (decent selection of crafts) and love the soundtrack.

I had my first sloppy Joe and it was yummy. We went for the Sunday afternoon HH so just $3 bucks and worth it for sure. Humus eh. This place is dark, so I seated myself by the window and glad we all ventured there with daylight. In a pinch I'd revisit for another Jo.

We came to this burger/bar joint after leaving a terrible restaurant. We weren't expecting much, we were just starving and wanted some quality drinks. Our server, Spencer, was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. He gave us some good pointers on drinks and food. When the food arrived, it was impeccable. It was hot and fresh and delicious. The drinks were mixed well. The atmosphere was fun too. We sat outside with a fire to warm us up and they played fun music. 10/10 would recommend for visitors in Denver.

This place is incredible. Bartender is awesome! And hilarious! There is a galaga (and other less important games) machine! And it's free. Had an incredible time.

I really had no idea this was a dive bar but it's just perfect for an after dinner drank. All the bar seats were full so we sat at the little counter across from bar and still received attentive service from the friendly barkeeps. I sipped on a prosecco on tap and Mr. P. had some sort of whiskey, both reasonably priced. We didn't try any food but enjoyed the eclectic chill atmosphere. I could see this being a hideaway from the hot summer sun or a cozy spot to day drink on a cold winter day. Awesome neighborhood spot!

My fiance, Max, and I live close to Vesper, so we decided to pick up some wings and bring them home. Max had called initially to place a take-away order multiple times with no answer. So he decided to just place our order at Vesper. I didn't go with Max to get our food, but when he came back and opened our food, he was upset. He told me he asked for our wings to be extra crispy and that he asked the server taking his order how many wings come in the order. Max said he was told there were 12 wings but we only had 9 not-extra-crispy wings when he got home. The food was really good, though. I enjoyed the wings, even though they were a bit soggy and the fries had a good seasoning on them. I'll be happy to actually sit in the restaurant and give it another go. Until then, this was our experience.

Adopted this establishment as my hometown bar after just one visit after moving here from New York. Bartender Steve goes leaps and bounds out of his way to entertain guests, provides excellent service and it's always entertaining to see him do so much so fast and effectively. Hands down A+ employee for this place. Late night food is amazing especially because many places stop serving early. Who would have thought a sloppy Joe could be that delicious?

Love this place and the atmosphere. Really great happy hour (I recommend the hawaiian Tom Daley), friendly staff. Food is pretty average for bar food.

This is a great place. They also have great service (hard to say these days) and had incredible wings. Highly recommend this place for bites as well as drinks.

Working in the service industry I really hate to leave bad reviews, if this review was based solely on food and the cocktails it would be five stars but the service was ridiculously bad. Me and two friends went to go try out vesper lounge and grab a few cocktails on a Saturday evening, both indoors and outdoors had a decent crowd but it was easy to see that the servers and bartenders were not in the weeds. Throughout the course of our two hour experience the server only rocked up every 30-45 minutes. On two occasions he took our drink orders, waited thirty minutes while we all had empty drinks on the table then returned to take them again as though he didn't just come by, then charged us for both the drinks we did not receive and the second drinks ordered. after about an hour and a half we got tired of sitting there waiting for service and feeling like a nuisance for wanting to put in more food and drinks so we asked to close out. For 45 minutes after asking for our tab we watched our table run around from table to table dropping off tabs and drinks for other folks, taking orders and chatting with his friends that were sitting across the patio while shooting us a dirty look every few minutes. After a certain point we were so fed up waiting for the privilege of paying our check we went inside and asked the bar if we could close out. Our server finally rocked up, gave us a bunch of attitude then went to print out our check, on the way back to bringing it to us he stopped to talk to another server for five minutes, literally two feet away from us, holding our check which just felt like a huge intentional slap in the face. I just moved in a couple blocks away and was super stoked to try this place and hoped it would be my new spot for happy hour and a good meal a few times a week but after the terrible service I will not be back. Genuinely feel like I wasted $125

Best G'Damn Sloppy Joe I've ever had....sorry Mom! It took me back to one of my after-school favorites (second to grilled cheese and tomato soup). Alex, my super duper awesome bartender suggested that I add fresh jalapeños and I'm so glad he did. The extra kick took the flavor profile up a few notches. And those Indian-spiced fries were....just... really??!! Now I'm hungry again. Vesper is open late, totally divey and totally chill!

I like Vesper! Been coming here for years. They have a patio and took over part of the street during covid times, and everyone is wearing masks. The happy hour is one of the best in town too - 2 for 1! Their cocktails are mostly on tap and pretty basic. They're not the strongest, but they're tasty. With regards to food, I've only had the fries. Which are pretty bomb.

We visited for cocktails - no food. The outside space is nothing fancy but it was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed our time. Cocktails are decent but be aware they are "on tap" so not individually created. Staff were helpful and friendly. Starting 9/30/21, you'll be required to prove your vax status to enter/be served and that's where my relationship with Vesper Lounge ends. This isn't Nazi Germany and regardless of vax status, I will not give my money to any company who requires anyone to "carry papers." Bonanno Concepts (owner of Vesper Lounge) has this policy for ALL of their establisments.

They're making it work with the outdoor space and little fire pits! Last night they had live music, great service and as usual, the fries were so good! I like coming here but it's usually very loud--not this time. Being outside made the atmosphere enjoyable, but wear better pants than I did because their chairs are a bit chilly to sit on if you're not prepared. Great example of a place making the outdoor dining experience work!

This is the greatest neighborhood place in Denver! The staff are all so very friendly- they treat you like they have known you for years! The Chef- James, is an absolute genius! His delectable dishes are perfectly seasoned and their menu choices are so varied - there is something for everyone here! James is an outstanding Chef and your food will be an experience that is a MUST! Plus - great bartenders!!!

My husband went to order takeout and they messed up our order multiple times. So much so that I couldn't eat any of it by the time it got home due to my dairy allergy. He explained this multiple times to them. He had to have them redo the order multiple times. They threw in an extra gyro sandwich to make up for it but again forgot to remove the dairy so I had nothing to eat for dinner.

Want an awesome late start to your Sunday Fun Day?? Slide onto a bar stool at the Vesper Lounge. It's absolutely an undiscovered Brunch Gem! It serves brunch from 11-3 on Sundays and the chef is so amazingly talented. If you like lamb (and why wouldn't you?) you must get the Lamb Benedict! Oh. So. Good. There are a handful of other benedicts on the menu too, each with its own special hollandaise made from scratch. The Lamb came with a mint hollandaise..creamy and delicious. The tater tots are outrageously good. In fact, they may be the best I have ever had. We loved them so much (they come with each entree) that we had to order an extra side of them. The service is awesome and on Sundays you can booze up with bloody mary's, mimosas, man mosas (oj with agave wheat beer and more) etc- for $5. No lie! The bartenders are friendly and know how to pour a drink and discuss the menu (Hannah and Jake, I am talking about you!). So if you want a fantastic brunch that you don't have to wait 2 hours for, the Vesper Lounge is the place to be. We will be back...many times.

Worst service. Waitress was drunk clearly took her 20 minutes to come back and tell us the kitchen was closed.

A solid spot for drinks, during covid times! Indoor and covered outdoor seating, heated around various fire pits. Well made cocktails for $7 each - we had a nice time here. Comfortable and causal, would go here again.

3rd times a charm!! Every time I come here I'm promptly greeted and served with the outmost sincerity. Spencer is amazing and always ready to pour me my favorite on entrance... Steve is super handsome and keeps my glass full all night, Josh the chef makes my wings the best, juicy and crispy no matter what time of night. I've never had a burger that has tasted better than the Vesper!! Even on my biggest hangover days I just want Vesper Cheeseburgers. This place has my heart

Old fashions on tap- which is pretty cool but that's where it ends. Came here after going to a Death Cab for Cutie concert and the Denver Flea. Vesper was crowded and also kind of dirty The falafel was the worst I have ever had- soggy. The fries tasted like they had cinnamon on them and were cold and under cooked. My friend got a burger and fries. We both barely touched our food. The bill was high and our server never asked if everything was okay. Will not be coming back- sad because it is just steps from my building.

Vesper Lounge is a great little bar if your looking for something quaint and low key. The happy hour food and drink specials are great, but so is the regular food menu. Everything we've had at Vesper has been good! Definitely try the Burger- might sound like a standard burger, but its one the best in town- I think it might even be award winning. Great spot for locals- very warm and inviting staff!

Can't believe that I haven't reviewed Vesper Lounge yet. I've been to Vesper a lot, more for than just drinks. The food is great, probably the best gyros for the price and also decent burgers. No complaints about the food. 2 stars for that. Drinks? Great, strong and delicious along with a great staff. No complaints here.

Pretty cool spot. BUT DONT EAT THE FRENCH FRIES. They season them with cinnamon and something else which will literally stain your hands and anything your hand touches after eating them. Im surprised they haven't realized that by now or maybe they don't give a fuck. Other than that, good bartenders, good burgys.
