"While it’s a trek out to Camp Springs, year-old Via Roma is worth the trip to sample its cloud-like “pinsa” pizza that’s curiously crispy on the outside but super soft in the center. Its Naples native owner/operator Biagio Cepollaro claims his is the first DMV restaurant that specializes in the three-day dough. A namesake white pie features roasted peppers, artichokes, zucchini, cherry tomato, and fontina and pecorino cheeses, or go the opposite route with a meaty red pie topped with pepperoni, ham, sausage, and salami. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, for takeout or dine-in. D.C. got its own Roman pinsa place last fall with the opening of La Casina in Eastern Market." - Eater Staff

This place is amazing! Went for dinner and the owner was so kind and helpful explaining how to order, etc. They had the champions league soccer game on which made my 11yr old son so happy he could finish watching the game! His team lost and he was crushed, however the owner came out with fresh baked cookies and offered them to help him get over his teams loss. They were delicious! The food itself is definitely one of a kind! You truly can’t ask for better. It’s authentic, fresh, homemade and fabulous. You can taste the love and pride in his food that is served and how he welcomes and treats those that walk through the door. There isn’t a place remotely like this in the south suburbs of Chicago where we’re from. Via Roma is a hidden gem that is truly a treat!

Google
I was recommended this place by a co worker and thought I'd give it a try. You order at the front and they bring the food to your table. The calamari app was okay, a bit too greasy and the calamari was chewy, not tender, probably frozen. The pizza looked great, however, it didn't have much flavor. I had the white pizza with mushrooms and the only thing I tasted was the sausage, everything else was very bland. Might be a good pizza place in the area it's in but overall not that great. Still leaving 4 stars because I don't want to hurt a small business but it's more like a 3 star review.

Google
The first thing to notice is the gorgeous interior! Then the fact that it is a restaurant and a bar and a cafe and that's awesome. Then, the digital food ordering method, which is super convenient. And, last but not least, the food quality and the portion both amazing Staff are all super nice and kind and constantly checking on their customers. I'm definitely coming back again...

Google
my husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. this is my second time reviewing because I feel like it deserves an update. I rated 5 stars after the first time we came here, about 3 months ago. now, we’ve been here over 10 times and the 5 stars absolutely holds up. we’ve been slowly rolling through their menu offerings and nothing has been a miss. the ingredients are high quality, the drinks are delicious, the prices are fair, the employees are friendly. but nothing compares to how truly delicious the food is. genuine, authentic Rome-based italian food that makes every other restaurant taste depressingly average. we are so glad we found this hidden gem.

Google
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Via Roma, a family-owned establishment in Suitland, MD. It's the perfect spot for entertainment, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend trying the Gamberi & Calamari, Cavolo TuscanonSalad- the food is simply delicious. And don't forget to check out the bar, where you can order your favorite drink. I celebrated my brother-in-law's birthday there with our family and had a fantastic time. I can't wait to return with more friends and family!"

Google
Wow! What an amazing find! Great variety of menu options. My family of five thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My wife particularly enjoyed her Margherita Pizza. The deep fried calzone was a hit with my son. The hospitality was genuine and warm. We enjoyed our meal on the comfortable patio. My only regret is that I don't live anywhere near here. But if you're fortunate enough to live here, or happen to be visiting, be sure to make time for a visit. You might find you have a new favorite Italian cuisine restaurant.

Google
Spaghetti and meatballs were nothing spectacular to make me crave this on a regular. The sauce was basic, didn't taste homemade. There were cloves of garlic to make it look homemade but it underwhelmed me. I ordered the salad with chicken and the chicken tasted like that artificial chicken made of rib meat you purchase from any store. The vinegarette dressing was pretty good. Customer service was excellent!

Google
How have I never heard of this place before 😍😍 definitely a hidden gem. Pizza is outstanding and I’ve never enjoyed take-out pasta so much in my life. Sauced, seasoned, and perfect portions. Definitely my family’s new go-to 🍕 🍝 Not pictured: the delicious and decadent bombolini 😋🍫

Toya D.

Yelp
Definitely not as good as my first visit (April 2022), which was super disappointing because we came here to celebrate my father's birthday and I raved about it to my family. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't what I expected. Nothing a little added seasoning and air fryer magic couldn't fix. The service was pleasant as usual, hence the extra star. __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

Yelp
Via Roma is an unassuming little pizza joint in Maryland located in a plaza. At first the menu doesn't seem special but their pinsa (Roman pizza) really has a unique kick that takes it up a notch. The crust is thinner and carried an almost airy yet crunchy texture that really holds its weight against the sauce. Pretty standard pizza flavors you can get at most places, but the quality is great. Easy parking, overall great find worth visiting in the dmv.

Yelp
Via Roma truly is a gem! The reason goes beyond fresh and tasty food. The owners valued community, which they created with patrons. While I was primarily an online ordering customer, I always felt the warm energy when picking up my order. The space was open concept, which added to the good feels. I understand that they're closing this location permanantly as of 11/17/23 (check their social media) and they will be missed! Can't wait to see where they go next.

Yelp
Welp! I tried to give them another try. My cousin had a taste for pizza so we ventured to Via Roma since the weather was nice and I figured we could sit outside and enjoy the nice day. We found a spot on the deck and I used the QR code to order. My mussels, fried shrimp and wine came out promptly. The waiter acknowledged the can sprite I ordered for my cousin along with her pizza and 40 mins later we were still waiting for the pizza and sprite. I actually had to get up and go look for our server quit a few times because he disappeared on us after bringing the first part of our order... By time her pizza came we were over it and ready to go but I had already paid for the pizza so she just tried a slice and we ended up taking it to go. Hope she'll enjoy her leftovers for lunch today...smh... As for the appetizers: we really enjoyed the shrimp and veggies. The mussels, me, not so much, too sweet for me. I prefer a more seafood broth along with some French bread to sop up the broth lol. My cousin on the other hand- she said she liked them. Happy Yelping!

Yelp
I've been wanting to stop by for awhile & I finally made it. My intention was to try an appetizer with a sandwich or pizza, but I was full after my apps. I ordered the Brussels sprouts & gamberi and shrimp. The Brussels sprouts were perfection! The description on the menu says roasted but I think they may have been flash fried ever so quickly. I can definitely taste the light hint of lemon zest, I love the cheese sprinkled on top, and the bacon pieces distributed throughout. I think they're just seasoned with just salt and pepper but they taste so doggone good. I love the light crispness of the loose leaves. I really need to up my sprouts game at home. Lol. I confirmed with my waitress that the sprouts are deep fried for maybe a minute. That's why it was so delicious. The shrimp & calamari dish was quite filling. Why is this the first time I'm having these two things that I love so much together? Everything was fried perfectly! I really like the batter. It gives full coverage, but it's light and not too much breading. Again it's sprinkled with a little lemon zest, which I love. The lemon aïoli really compliments the dish well. Be sure to get extra sauce; one is isn't enough. The shrimp are pretty large and the calamari is thick cut. Ain't no skimpy rings here. I had the most wonderful waitress. Her name was Sanai. She was bubbly, upbeat, and gave me great recommendations. She was very attentive and made sure to check on me. I can't wait to come back & try some other items. Next time, I won't fill up on appetizers.

Yelp
Always good food here. The servers are great. Food is good. You'll even meet the owner. Can't complain.

Yelp
While I usually stop into Via Roma around the noontime hour to take advantage of their great lunch specials, there was a 20 person conference at the office, and a bunch of us decided to check out the Happy Hour at Via Roma after the workday. Via Roma was listed as one of Yelp's Top 100 places to eat in 2022, and for good reason: they serve tasty authentic Italian fare. Biagio Cepollaro, who is one of the partners and operators, along with Chef Partner Tonino Topolino, infuse the dining experience at Via Roma with their desire to express their Italian heritage through the food and hospitality. The Happy Hour menu is a great deal if you're in the area. I ordered a few things to sample: The chicken tenders and the Mozzarella in Carrozza (aka fried mozzarella balls). In both instances, the chicken and the cheese were nicely breaded with a light batter, and fried until they were GBD (gold brown delicious) without being too greasy or overcooked. Paired with the house honey mustard and marina dipping sauce, and this was the perfect appetizer to share. I also tried a piece of the HH pepperoni pizza (as of this writing, a steal at $8) and the crust was light and airy and the pepperoni had that signature "puckered cup" effect from being baked in a super hot oven. Select beer and wines are $1-$2 off during HH...which again is appreciated during these inflationary times. It was great meeting IRL with colleagues that I haven't seen in a few years and in such a fun space such as Via Roma. Despite the high ceilings, the noise level wasn't too bad in the main dining room, even though the place was pretty packed. In the warmer months, I can likely see myself enjoying a beverage on the outdoor patio after work. if you're in the Camp Springs area, highly recommend stopping by Via Roma.

Yelp
This is a review of some items from their happy hour menu. But first, here's a few interesting facts about Via Roma that might convince you to give them a visit. 1) They were chosen as one of Yelps Top 100 Places to Eat in 2022. That covers all restaurants in the USA. That says a lot about their food, ambiance, and service. 2) They are the first and only certified pinseria in the DMV area. That means they use the Originale Pinsa Romana recipe for traditional pinsa. Certification requires training and then passing an examination by Originale Pinsa Romana. They have strict standards for authentic Roman pinsa. 3) They are an authentic Italy restaurant. They use Italian techniques, use Italy recipes, have Italian drinks (coffee, beer, and liquor), and are owned by Italians.    My wife and I entered the restaurant and found a table immediately. They have a QR code menu that lists everything, including a happy hour menu. We ordered 4 items. 1) Cavoletti di Bruxelles This had crispy brussel sprouts, bacon, pecorino cheese, and lemon zest. The brussel sprouts were cut into quarters and fried in olive oil until it was very crispy. The bacon was thick, small strips that were slightly salty and fried just right. The combination of charred greens flavor from the brussel sprouts, salty savory flavor from the bacon, and creamy savory flavor from the cheese gave this dish an outstanding flavor profile of contrasts that were complimentary. Flavorful and delicious! 2) Mussels It had 9 maine mussels, garlic, olive oil, white wine, and sweet pepper drops with croutons and fresh lemon. The mussels were fresh and tender with the right amount of chewiness. The sauce was well-balanced with a perfectly mixed flavor of garlic, oil, and wine. The croutons were crispy and soaked up the sauce well. Tasty and well done! 3) Pepperona pinsa It had pepperoni, mozzarella, and tomato sauce on pinsa dough. Pinsa is a Roman style pizza made with dough that has a blend of rice, soy, wheat flour, and dried mother yeast. The crust was light and airy with a crispy exterior. The interior was soft and slightly chewy. The pepperoni was very crispy around the edges, which gave it a grilled flavor. Nice unique touch! It had lots of cheese and pepperoni with a little tomato sauce. It wasn't oily. This was savory and great tasting with excellent texture! 4) Peroni Nastro Azzuro lager beer This is an Italian lager beer that is light-bodied with medium carbonation. It had notes of citrus, biscuit, and spice. The beer flavor was not strong. It's crisp and easy to drink.    The dining room and restrooms were very clean. There were 3 restrooms: male, female, and unisex. They have a bar with interior and exterior counter seating. There is a large patio with tables and chairs. The service was helpful, polite, and responsive. It's easy to see why Yelp chose them for the Top 100. With great authentic food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere; this is a restaurant that I can recommend!

Yelp
YUM YUM YUM - Via Roma was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We actually came to the area to check out another eatery, but we saw Via Roma and knew we had to check them out, too - I'm super glad that we did! Their menu is pretty extensive, offering various appetizers, pinsinis, salads, pinsas, pastas, lunch specials, and even daily HH! Note that there's a QR code at each table, and you order via the app, which makes it super convenient. We ordered: +Mozzarella in Carrozza - these were perfect, bite-sized fried mozzarella balls, served with a side of marinara; YUM - these were super cheesy with a light thin crisp breading; the marinara was a perfect complement! +a Margherita - with tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, and EVOO - this came piping hot, with simplicity being at its best! It was interesting to learn more about pinsas, which is a Roman-style pie that is prepared with rice, soy, wheat, and yeast +Pasta al Forno - baked ziti, meat sauce, mozzarella, eggs, and parm cheese - the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and I loved the slight saltiness from the parm; there was a generous amount of savory meat sauce, which you could probably cook up some extra pasta to dress them on for another meal! +Ravioli - lobster ravioli with a spicy lobster cream sauce - literally one of the best lobster raviolis I've had! The ravioli was perfectly cooked, filled to the max, and that cream sauce was thick and creamy - no worries, as there is no kick to the sauce - it's just savory! There was no bread served, but I used the pizza crust to scoop all that preciousness AHAHA I believe this could be one of my favorite dishes! Mr. Biagio, the owner, stopped by to check in with us - he was so kind, welcoming, and personable. We shared how everything was so delicious and that we were so happy that we came in! I can't wait to return to try the rest of their menu! There's also a 'Little Library' when you enter to your left - you can 'take a book, share a book', which I found super cute and endearing - book lovers unite! This place is bright and airy, and perfect for get-togethers, date nights, and for special celebratory occasions. Located in a newly developed plaza, there's plenty of parking. +ask for Mr. Biagio! +Mozzarella in Carrozza! +Ravioli! +perfect al dente pasta! +friendly service! +ample parking!

Yelp
Everytime I come to Via Roma, the food is spectacular and I can't stop raving about it. Bright salads, rich sauces, perfectly cooked pasta. This time, it was the Scampi and the Fettucine Alfredo. I also got a seafood dish with mussels, shrimp and calamari in a red sauce. Unbelievable! It's amazing that a restaurant like Via Roma has found its way in Oxon Hill, and I'm glad it has because I plan to keep coming back. Anyone who like Italian food should do the same - you won't regret it!

Sara-Marie S.

Yelp
I can not say enough good things about this place! It was my husband and I first time here and we were blown away. It's a self seated restaurant which confused us at first but no big deal. When we pulled the menu up via QR code, we were impressed with the selections. The pizzas were customizable and came out pretty quick. We were even served water immediately while we waited for our meals. Believe me when I say this was the best pizza I've had in my entire life! It was light and crunchy. The sauce was to DIE for and the toppings tasted fresh. The presentation was also great. The cannolis were perfect. The right amount of crunch and wasn't overly sweet. This will be one of my top go to spots!

Kaneisha W.

Yelp
Went here for lunch with a few work colleagues. The service was very friendly and speedy. You order and pay for your food using a QR code designated for your specific table. You can eat at the bar, tables inside or outside, or order to go. The decor and set up of the restaurant was very nice. The pasta I had was absolutely delicious!!!! I will be coming back again!

Cora P.

Yelp
Second visit! Everything was awesome (both visits and we tried different dishes) and IMO authentic when compared to our trips to Campania. Seafood was fresh! We met the wonderful owner and he was very accommodating. ! Cocktails were really good and strong they know how to make drinks A Would definitely recommend!! pls pay them a visit and support this new restaurant!! Molto Bene!!

Akande S.

Yelp
A nice little spot with excellent drinks and service. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was unexpected in the strip mall (food spots only) setting. Happy hour was chill and had a younger crowd from the rentals adjacent to the restaurant. Now for the food... I had the pasta with meatballs. The spaghetti is thick like bucatini noodles which is a plus BUT mine were overcooked. The sauce tasted fresh and the meatballs (mix of pork and beef) were large but not very flavorful and the internal texture was a bit mushy. The star was the Panzanella salad...that's right!!! A. SALAD. It came with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives (we subbed in kalamata olives) red onions, croutons, italian dressing. It was delicious. We ordered seconds to take home. If we could've we would've ordered another round of mojitos. They were delicious too. They are traditional mojito recipe with a Prosecco float. You can add flavoring (strawberry, etc.) too if that's your thing. Try it out. They have other pastas I want to try.

Jeanne H.

Yelp
Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Salads are great and so are pizzas. Location is very close to Branch Avenue Metro stop and across the street from the brand new USCID federal government building.

Yelp
Great spot in the new area of camp springs. They happy hour is amazing. The drinks have a good flavor and rhe pizza, and Brussels are top tier. The service is A1 and ambiance is chill.

Yelp
Via Roma is so delicious. I came recently for happy hour and sat at the outside part of the bar. The space is so beautiful and bright. And the mural on the inside wall is breathtaking. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. You are able to order everything through the app which is really helpful. I had a yummy drink and decided on the pepperona pinsa. I didn't think I could eat the entire thing but because the dough is so light, you don't get the heavy feeling that you typically get when eating pizza. The pizza was delicious and fresh. Via Roma is a great stop for happy hour or dinner. They also have a coffee bar.

Donna-Marie T.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant with a nice bar and HH specials. The pizza is really good. The mussels left a little to be desired but the pasta makes up everything else. Very enjoyable experience

Candace T.

Yelp
Great staff and atmosphere. My Margherita pizza was absolutely delicious, the crust was light and airy but also crispy it was a nice combination! I stumble into Via Roma by chance but will absolutely be going back to try more of their menu options! I recommend you check it out.

Hammed A.

Yelp
The pizza experience at Via Roma was a good one. They specialize in Pinsa which is a Roman-style pizza. The indoor setting is very bright and vibrant. There is a bar area in the restaurant which is very large and substantial, seemingly occupying 1/3 of the dining area. There is a coffee shop which is situated immediately upon entering the restaurant and seems to be separated from the main dining area. Overall the interior is very well designed and vibrant. I ordered the Margherita and Meat Lover pizzas which were delicious. Both had crust edges which were crispy and softened the closer I got to the center of the pizza. The dough was airy and consistent with Roman-style pizza. All of the ingredients seemed fresh including the mozzarella cheese. The pizzas were made-to-order which obviously is a pizza standard however when working with fresh ingredients made-to-order pizza is a much different experience. Overall a good experience and I will visit again.

Ashley S.

Yelp
What a great Italian spot! Nothing I had disappointed and the best on the menu, I heard was their pizza but it's really their lemon aioli. It's paired with a few items on the menu but what I really liked it with, was the brussel sprouts. Here you sit down and order through a QR code, which makes the ordering process pretty seamless, and as your items are ready, someone brings your drinks or food over. Everyone was super friendly and stopped by our table to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. This is definitely a place you have to try! And an added perk is the great music selection they play while you're enjoying your food!

Latia J.

Yelp
This restaurant is a hidden gem located in a quiet neighborhood. They have been open for a year and the food is delicious. It's located close to Suitland metro and walking distance. I think the pictures speak for themselves of the quality of food. This is a nice place to gather with friends, business lunch, happy hour or date night.

Frank A.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place and drove all the way from National Harbor. Ambiance on the restaurant was nice and went ahead and ordered the Alfredo to go and added chicken since it was not included. We asked if it was breaded or grilled and just got a sautéed answer. The Alfredo felt it was out of a cheap jar and had no flavor at all. The $5 chicken was for a few small pieces of "boiled?" Chicken. No flavor or color of being on a pan what so ever. Was going to leave 2 stars and try again but after finding a hair on my food i think i am calling it a day on this restaurant.

Margaret W.

Yelp
The service at this restaurant is very nice. This is where customers become family. Everything on the menu is pleasing to the palate. Shout out to Q the best bartender and Life holds it down as wellJenny and Gabby best servers with a smileMr. B and Tony ~ Great Job and Thanks for making the Italian Experience Awesome

Buonarotti G.

Yelp
Hands-down this is the most authentic Italian restaurant and pizzeria in the Washington DC metropolitan area! The chef is absolutely amazing, and the food that he makes is wonderful. He comes from Naples Italy, and brings with him all the wonderful flavors of the south of Italy. Go out of your way to dine here, and be sure to ask if there are any specials on the menu. The Roman pizzas are authentic and absolutely delicious. There is no skipping on ingredients only the highest quality tomatoes, pastas flour and ingredients are use here. It's absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant.

James A.

Yelp
Food is great! Love the lunch specials. Servers are friendly, good service. Clean atmosphere, nice seating inside and out.

Mrs. Tiffany H.

Yelp
Affordable Happy Hour & Great Food! Outside Patio with a bar! We stopped by for a quick early dinner/HH. The weather was nice and we got to sit outside at the bar. The Happy Hour menu offers pizza's for $8 Other Food items like mozzarella balls & Brussels for $6 Happy Hour Drinks are all mostly $7. Super Affordable!! Fast Service & very nice waiter's! My only complaint is that the mozzarella balls are too small. The pictures make them look bigger than what they really are... so order 2 :)

Kimberly A.

Yelp
I ordered the Vegana (pizza) online thru door dash. It consisted of artichokes, eggplant, onions, vegan cheese, peppadew peppers, mushrooms, fontina cheese, sun dried tomatoes, zucchini and mozzarella. When I bit into the pizza it was like love at first bite. The pizza just melted in my mouth. The eggplant had a creamy texture and the artichoke complimented the the sun dried tomatoes. The crust was nice, thin and crunchy. I thoroughly enjoyed their vegan pizza and couldn't be more happy . If you want delicious Italian food, try Via Roma. . You will not be disappointed. Take it from this black Italian, the food is molto delizioso!

Michele B.

Yelp
First time eating here Was greeted by the hostess... extremely pleasant and offered suggestions (plus) The establishment is decorated very Chic and has a really nice ambiance (cozy friendly feeling) Wait time was great ... I was recommended the meat lovers ... freshly made ... only discrepancy was the edges were a little crispy... but overall it was a good pizza Priced reasonably and would go again Nice place for a date or evening out

Katie N.

Yelp
We decided to try this place out after we saw they were featured in yelp's top 100 places to eat in 2022, and they didn't disappoint. The portions were great compared to other restaurants but also flavorful and fresh. They use a QR system to order, maintain your tab, and fully check out. I really liked this system as it makes it easy to have multiple parties in one table, but also you can order at your own pace. All food/drinks we ordered was brought out very hot, and service was great. It appears the plaza this restaurant is in is new and there are many more places to come.

james G.

Yelp
Great spot and I love the relaxed atmosphere of the place. The food is always fresh and the staff are great.

Lucy M.

Yelp
Based off the reviews - I decided to give this place a try. Pizza - someone posted a review about the pizza not being good, after comparing 1 bad review vs multiple good reviews... I decided to give it a try.... Big mistake! The pizza was not tasty at all! I will admit I am very prejudiced when it comes to pizza because I'm an ex-NY..... but this pizza was lacking- no flavor, the sauce tasted very bottled and highly acidic. Personally, I did not try the pasta but was told it was delicious. The pasta taste homemade and fresh, the meatballs and sauce was delicious and the portion size was plentiful. I plan to visit in the near future.

Amber M.

Yelp
Good location in an up-and-coming area. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions about menu options. The portion size is good I always have leftovers. The flavor is really good but not overwhelming.

Mike R.

Yelp
Menu severely scaled back (maybe due to inflation and pipeline issues) and they had the bay windows closed. :-/ Bartender said when the window is open the air conditioning is exiting the restaurant, which makes sense I guess, but definitely takes away from the overall (resort/vacation) experience I was looking forward to of sitting at the bar patio. Maybe a Spring/Fall experience when the temperature is just right is better suited. With regard to the menu, I've been here twice and I feel like I've exhausted everything interesting on the menu, so what's left?

Linsey T.

Yelp
Went here on this rainy Saturday for a quick bite and drink! Short story shorter..... this is a gem off Auth Rd. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful! I had spaghetti without the meat (I don't eat pork and most of the ground meat is a beef & pork fusion) but let me tell you... the mushrooms and tomatoes, fresh mozzarella... delicious! Couples with a cocktail.... I just want more! Try this and you will not be disappointed!!! Great service!! Ambiance is clean, modern, and welcoming! Stop by!!!

Yelp
Now I see why the Salmone e gamberetti is my wife's favorite dish! I ordered 2 this time and enjoyed every bite! The pictures are on the site so, I won't post my picture. If I did, it would be an empty plate. I walked in and ordered to wait. I was told it would take 20 minutes but my order was ready in 12 minutes!!! Watching the chefs and crew work together was very entertaining! Not a lot of chit chat. They moved about like a carefully choreographed dance troupe. The open kitchen area isn't very large and to watch them work was worth the pleasant wait. There are two large screen TV's on the wall and I caught a few minutes of the US Open 2022. A very nice atmosphere that is not very noisy. So, if you are near the Branch Avenue Metro, stop on by.

Yelp
Via Roma offers a delightful dining experience with a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and great drinks. The management's lovely approach and the servers' super friendly attitude create a welcoming environment for all patrons. Notably, the restaurant's commitment to treating everyone with respect and serving black and brown communities reflects their dedication to inclusivity. Overall, "Via Roma" is a fantastic place to enjoy a satisfying meal and a warm dining ambiance.

Yelp
Was craving pasta and had saw so many good reviews about this place, so on Sunday me and my wife decided to check it out. It's a cute little spot and it has an outdoor section but we sat at the bar (since it wasn't crowded). Drinks were nice and strong and food was delicious! This is gonna be out new pasta spot!!! Definitely recommend if you want some good pasta!!!

Yelp
I love Via Roma and have been wanting to go back since my first visit. To start, the restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing. It has cafe-like seating but it is vibrant with pretty artwork, has a full bar with string lights and other vibe-setting decor. There's also a coffee bar!! There is some outdoor seating with a grass wall and flowers, etc. great for photos! The menus are on QR codes like the rest of the world, but the best part about their menu is that almost every dish is customizable. Please just visit to see what I mean, lol. Most items are affordable but it can get pretty pricey with your customizations. The staff is friendly and when I checked in, I got a 10 or 15% off coupon from Yelp I got the spaghetti and meatballs, 10/10. I added mushroom and eggplant. AMAZING. I also tried the crab tater tots.. Unfortunately, I can't recommend. They are not that good, the portion is small and for what you get, the price is outrageous. However, the little fried donut holes with Nutella were greatttt. You get a lot of them so if you do order, make sure you have someone to share with, lol.

Yelp
My cousin and I stopped by for lunch after the gym yesterday. We arrived around 11:30 AM when they opened, and we were the second people there. The concept is interesting. You scan the code at your seat and order and pay from your phone. It's a small place, with a full bar and casually dressed waitstaff. They wore red hoodies. To our surprise, about 30 minutes into our meal, the place got packed. There's a federal building across the street so I imagine most folks were at lunch and there's a military base close by. We were soon surrounded by fitted suits and folks decked out in military gear. Despite the crowd, service stayed consistent. Our food was served hot and the drinks were strong. The bartender and waitress were both very friendly. I was surprised to see a full bar in such a small establishment, but pleasantly so. I will definitely go back for dinner or to check out the bar another time. Icing on the cake, the food was delicious and moderately priced.

Yelp
Fairly new establishment located near Branch Ave metro stop. Very spacious, open atmosphere. Feels like "home" and I love it. I placed a to-go order for Brussel sprouts and a pepperoni pizza. The sprouts were delicious!! I would go back just for those. The pizza was really good. A little soggy at the bottom on a few slices but nothing to be worried about. My order came out in 10 mins so I appreciate the quick service. They have a full service bar that I'll check out next time I'm there. This will definitely be a great neighborhood spot to unwind after work.

Terrible, I ordered the mussels, it was like scooping sand into my mouth and parm and Bread was extra. I had one bite, paid on my phone and left. It was terrible No bemo

Yelp
Hidden Italian gem. The lunch special $15 (steak and cheese and Cavalo Toscano) was delicious. Stay until HH (3pm-6pm) and order the Pinsa Pepperona for a discount. And wine is almost half off. Most definitely returning.

Yelp
This is a great addition to the neighborhood. The service is good, the ambiance is good, the food is good and so are the drinks. I ordered to-go on this visit, I tried the Scampi and it was amazing! The flavor was perfect! The portion size was good. I love shrimp so I would add extra shrimp next time. But it's perfect the way it is, I'm just being greedy. Lol All I did when I got home was put it on a plate. It came out the container just as it appears on my plate. It is delicious.

Yelp
Cool spot. Enter, sit where you want. The menu is on the table via a QR code. You will be greeted and food/drinks will come your way once your order is placed. I enjoyed my Vegana pizza and drinks. Also ordered the fried donuts but didn't enjoy them that much. I will go back and try other things on the menu.

Yelp
If you are looking for something inexpensive, and a meal that will satisfy you at the end of the day, Via Roma is definitely the place. Located in the same area with Milk and Honey, you cannot go wrong on date night.
