"If you've ever taken the ferry over to Bainbridge Island, you probably know that a ton of buzzy restaurants are located on Winslow, a.k.a. the main drag. At peak times, it's hard to find parking, it's hard to grab a last-minute table, and it's hard to actually relax, which is precisely what you dipped out of the city to do in the first place. But breeze right past all of those, then past the gift shops selling sea salt-scented soap, and after 10 minutes cruising north, you'll hit a little market called Via Rosa 11. Pull over immediately, because this counter happens to serve the best Italian food on Bainbridge. Via Rosa 11 is exactly the location you likely had in mind when you felt the urge to board a commercial watercraft and sail away from Seattle. It’s a place to take a breather as you're fed exemplary pasta and pizza by genuine, warm people who pronounce “marinara” with D’s instead of R’s. It's a place to pop open a bottle of prosecco to wash down a margherita. It's a place to haul along a cooler bag so you can stock up on housemade sausage and tubs of soup to bring home. There are plenty of pizzas to be had here, as well as mix-and-match pasta-and-sauce combinations—but the best course of action is to order the burrata and speck pie. Between the smoky cured meat, pops of burst cherry tomato, and cold burrata melting on contact with a charred crust like a sun-drunk snowball, we can definitively say that this pizza is the best in the Seattle area. Pair it with springy fusilli tossed in vodka sauce out on their string light-lined patio, and it should become clear: this is why you got on that boat. Food Rundown photo credit: Nate Watters Burrata & Speck Pizza This pie has everything going for it—the crust is crispy, chewy on the ends, and cracker-like in the middle, topped with dollops of burrata and bundles of speck. There’s a kick from red pepper flakes, herbaceous crunch from flash-fried basil, and a drizzle of really good olive oil. This is the pizza that you’d gladly blow off a third date for. Or better yet, share it with your date. Vodka Sauce Via Rosa's outstanding vodka sauce is tangy and sweet, with just enough cream to transform the tomato into a vivid orange. It'd taste excellent on any pasta shape under the sun, but we're partial to the way it clings between twists of fusilli. Meatballs In Marinara There are clearly some red sauce specialists in the building, judging from this simply-seasoned marinara. The san marzanos shine here, so choose a complemetary pasta, like classic spaghetti, or ravioli with a spinach-to-ricotta ratio so perfectly balanced that the filling is bright green. And don't forget a couple of tender meatballs. Cannoli You didn't come all this way on a huge boat to turn down a crackly cannoli shell piped with sweet fluffy mascarpone and little baby chocolate chips." - Aimee Rizzo

"You already know Bruciato. But for the best Italian food on the island, drive 10 minutes north of Winslow to a little neighborhood called Rolling Bay. Via Rosa 11 is where to go to feel taken care of, and by that we mean it’s a comforting place to be fed pasta and pizza by people who pronounce “marinara” with D’s instead of R’s. Order at the counter, and then eat this excellent food inside or outside at a picnic table. While you can mix and match any pasta shape with any sauce, the best combination is fusilli with vodka sauce, and if they have the special burrata pizza with speck, you’ll want that, too." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

"The very best pizza in Seattle is, in fact, not in Seattle at all. You have to take a 25-minute ferry across the Puget Sound to get to Via Rosa 11, but we’d gladly make the trip to Bainbridge Island to eat the burrata and speck pie. The pizza from this little Italian market has everything going for it—the dough is crispy, chewy on the ends, and cracker-like in the middle, topped with bundles of smoked prosciutto and dollops of cold burrata that melt on contact with the crust like sun-drunk snowballs. This is the pizza worth boarding a commercial watercraft." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

We visited Bainbridge Island for a weekend car-camping trip with friends, and stumbled upon Via Rosa 11 — a charming little Italian market and restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find an Italian grocery and deli in the middle of Washington State! It felt like a unique discovery, so we decided to grab some food to-go. The atmosphere was lovely and the selection of food and Italian products was impressive. However, I can’t say the food lived up to my expectations. I ordered the seafood pasta with squid ink, hoping for something truly special — especially from a place that brands itself as authentically Italian. But unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked and sticky. In Italy (and in any good Italian restaurant), you’d expect it to be al dente. Here, that texture was completely missing. It felt like just another generic American pasta dish. My husband ordered the prosciutto pizza. I love prosciutto and was excited to try a more traditional Italian-style pizza — not the overloaded American version. I was confused that there was no sauce at all on the pizza. No tomato base, no creamy sauce — just some cheese and toppings. Maybe that was intentional, but it left the pizza tasting a bit flat and dry for my liking. All in all, we’re thankful for a decent dinner at a reasonable price. But if you’re looking for a true taste of Italy, remember that we are in USA.

VIA ROSA 11 A True Taste of Italy We had an unforgettable dining experience at VIA ROSA 11. We ordered the Insalata di Angelo, Garlic Scape Pesto and Calabrian Shrimp, and Marechiaro, and every dish was packed with fresh, vibrant flavors. The Tiramisú we took home was the perfect sweet finish absolutely delicious. Not only was the food amazing, the hosts were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful it felt like being back in Italy. Can’t wait to return!

Bainbridge Island boasts a variety of decent eateries, and you can count Via Rosa among them We had a bit of everything, pizza, pasta, salad, all were delicious. We got there early, before noon, and the wait was minimal. However we did notice a line quickly grew behind us. I would not hesitate to recommend trying Via Rosa.

Google
One of the best Italian restaurant in Seattle area with reasonable price! Every taste is finely tuned, and they have great selection of wines. Casual dining area within a deli.

Google
Very good Italian Cuisine!!! This place is legit. Their homemade pasta is incredible. We had the Wild Boad Ragu and the Seafood Marechiaro - both dishes were out of this world!! And very reasonable on pricing. Their espresso is good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Google
Everything was fantastic, including the customer service. Honestly, probably the best Italian food I’ve had since being in Italy. My only critique is that I wish the pizza had more crisp, it was a little soft (almost soggy) for my liking. To be fair, I didn’t know how it would come out and I didn’t ask them to cook it longer, next time! The flavor was great! 4.5/5

If you are looking for authentic and deliciously made Italian food while on the island this is the place to go! It's a cute Italian food market shop combined with a restaurant.

Google
Via Rosa 11 was a 5/5 top tier, unique, and fun Italian dinner experience on Bainbridge. It's worth the extra effort to call ahead and get your order in. The atmosphere inside was relaxed and friendly, and the food throughout was fantastic. Absolutely will return.

Yelp
Finally made it to Via Rosa 11 after hearing so much buzz about this place. The Pizza Angelina was an absolute knockout - the guanciale added this perfect salty bite that played beautifully with the sweet San Marzano tomatoes. Those Castelvetrano olives are the fancy bright green ones that actually taste amazing (not the canned stuff), and the Fresno peppers gave just enough heat to keep things interesting. The 6 formaggi ravioli with wild mushrooms was pure comfort food luxury. Each pillow was stuffed with this ridiculous cheese blend, and the porcini mushroom sauce had this deep, earthy flavor that I'm still thinking about days later. Heads up - it can get packed, especially during dinner and their website asks you to call ahead with your entire order. Worth every penny though. This is legit Italian food that rivals spots I've tried in Seattle and definitely the best I've had on Bainbridge Island. Will definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

Yelp
I wish we had time to frequent this place. Cozy little place making fresh Italian food and pizza. In addition, they have imported goods and prepared meals for take home. We ordered a wood fired Prosciutto e rucola 4/5 (undercooked) and Vr11 Caesar 5/5 (best croutons). Service is counter and friendly. Order first before allowed seating.

Sarah S.

Yelp
In town for a recent staycation and had this place bookmarked. I went to their website to investigate a little more...glad we did. This is counter service with limited seating. You need to come either early or call ahead with your order to book a table. We chanced it and came in early Saturday right after they opened and had no trouble getting a table, although you could see many tables had already been reserved with call ahead orders. They have a regular "house specials" you can order from or daily fresh made pastas you can order with your choice of sauce. Upon entering the tall gentleman at the front was extremely friendly and informative telling us to grab a menu and order at the counter. Hubs decided on the bucatini pasta with aglio de olio sauce and I had the pappardelle with mushroom sauce. The plates look small but are LOADED with your fresh pasta. Delicious for us both. We would 10/10 come back here, tell friends to visit. The outdoor seating area is super cute. It wasn't super busy when we went as they had just opened so just a reminder it is counter service. You may have to grab your food from the counter when your order tracker buzzes but they brought ours out to us as it wasn't the rush yet. TLDR, fresh pasta to order, wood fired pizzas, friendly staff, counter service. Check them out!

Yelp
We are from out of town and happened upon this place. We were immediately welcomed and told all about the restaurant. We decided to stay and try the food. Easy to say this is the best pasta, tiramisu and cannoli we have ever had. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Tina G.

Yelp
First of all, this place is both a restaurant and Italian grocery store and the restaurant is only open Fri-Sunday. We learned this the hard way and came on a Wednesday only to find the restaurant part closed. Luckily, they have a frozen case with many of their signature dishes so we were able to try the Bolognese lasagna and the porcini mushroom pasta at home. The person working there, said that this happened a lot, so I hope that they update their hours online. The lasagna was especially delicious and simple to pop in the oven. I had to stop myself from eating half the pan! The interior is cute and we look forward to coming back on the weekend to try the restaurant! Will update my review then and hope to add more stars. If the rest of the food is anything like the lasagna then I see 5 stars in their future!

Richard B.

Yelp
As great as the best in Italy. Extremely high standards here and utterly delicious. The pasta with clams is a star and the simple pizzas are identical to Neapolitan ones.

B D.

Yelp
Best eggplant parm and the specials are always amazing for eating there or for take out! Everything they do is great. Love the relaxed atmosphere.

Jane H.

Yelp
We were really hoping to love this place but the funghi special pizza was bland and disappointing. It was oily and tasted off--- hope it was just a bad batch. My partners ravioli was fine.

Peter F.

Yelp
I had a very disappointing meal at Via Rosa recently. Though the service was affable and the tiramisu tasty, the appetizer and entrees were stultifyingly bland. The first bite of the caesar salad was promising - the romaine was crisp and had a nice lemony tang. Ultimately though, the dressing lacked umami depth; there was no evidence of anchovy, garlic, mayo nor Worcestershire sauce. The grated Parmesan cheese on top imparted texture rather than taste. The squash ravioli was fresh but the sauce of brown butter and sage added little more than a slickness to the dish. At $24.95 and coming with no sides, it's not a good value for the price. Lastly, the sauce on the pizza we ordered was closer to a tomato broth. This resulted in a soggy mess with the cheese topping floating around the center of the pie. A fellow diner remarked that other favorites haven't tasted as good as they used to. Perhaps the kitchen was overly busy the night we dined. Perhaps other dishes are more successful. However, it seems possible that the current kitchen doesn't understand the flavors nor intentions of those who created the recipes and menu. The result is a perfunctory attempt at Italian food rather than the real thing.

Yelp
We came here for dinner on a Saturday and originally were going to get our food to go as they said without a reservation, they were full for the evening. After we placed our order and were about to go outside to wait, the server stopped us and said actually one of the tables just finished eating if we wanted to dine in, to which we said sure! The place has a nice atmosphere with indoor and covered outdoor seating. It was a very homey vibe. The seafood marechiaro (squid ink tagliatelle, clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari, cherry tomato confit, tomato, fresh herbs, whole scampi, all wild). The seafood was very fresh and cooked well. We also liked the macrina crostini which we dipped in the sauce. It was a great way to end our day trip to Bainbridge. We're so happy we decided to come here and will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Yunkyung C.

Yelp
The food was amazing here, we ordered off the daily special menu and it did not disappoint. The squid ink seafood pasta had just the right amount of kick, fresh seafood, and al dente pasta. The wood fire pizza had a delicious crust and yummy toppings. And the burrata salad was delicious. Everything went perfectly together. You order first and then sit down here as it is a market, but the quality of food here is like a high end fancy Italian restaurant! Highly recommend if you're in Bainbridge island! The owner walks around and greets all the guests and is super friendly. You can tell all the staff care about great service and want to ensure you're happy with your meal.

Susanna D.

Yelp
Was recommended Via Rosa by a friend and she did not mislead me. Small little place and unassuming from the outside. Loved the prosciutto + rucola pizza and the you pick pasta and sauce. I've now had all of their sauces and would suggest any of them. It's great that you can shop their market and bring home fresh pasta, sauce, ravioli, or lasagna.

Cristi C.

Yelp
I read reviews about this place and then it was recommended several times by locals so we had to go! The mushroom pizza was SO good, I would 100% order this again. We split the pizza and the meatball sandwich. Both items were fantastic. They also had a great Italian wine selection. The seating area is small inside, but they have some outdoor seating. Service was super friendly and all the staff were great. 10/10 recommend!

Virginia M.

Yelp
We got off the ferry and rented electric assisted bikes. After a beautiful ride we stopped here for a snack. The pizza was delicious, the Chianti was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely a good day.

Julianne C.

Yelp
Loved the food here! Well and fair priced. Pasta is one of the best on town. Ordered the seafood pasta - really fresh and a great combination of seafood. The pizza was really good. The space has a great vibe and is warm and cozy perfect for winterish night out. The service was prompt and friendly, which added to our overall dining experience. I highly recommend Via Rosa to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. I would advise making a reservation in advance, as it tends to get quite busy.

Luis A.

Yelp
This was disappointing. I was looking forward to a nice Friday night date with my wife and had long wanted to try Via Rosa because of the great reviews and we're neighbors. So not expecting much because it's a Friday night and I didn't have a reservation, I called to ask if a reservation was needed or if there was a list. When Ashley answered and asked when I wanted to be there for dinner, I said 10 minutes so she asked me to hold. After about 10-15 minutes, she returned to the phone and asked what she could help me with. I would've let it go if she'd simply apologized for the oversight but instead she almost flippantly told me that "there were no tables available". I get it that it was a Friday night and people make mistake so you shouldn't let my review stop you from trying it out. I just can't give it a good review based on my own experience.

Jennifer V.

Yelp
We were on Baintridge Island on the last Mon and unfortunately missed the restaurant's opening days. (Make sure to check beforehand!) However, I purchased lasagna and mushroom pasta, which were ready to cook, along with some refreshing champagne for dinner. It turned out to be a fantastic meal! The service was also excellent; the staff member was very nice and patiently provided me with all the instructions for buying and cooking. I really appreciated it!

Varsh P.

Yelp
It looked liked a plant shop or garden center of some shop from the outside. It's pretty after you enter. We did not have to wait as it was a weekday. The service was quick. We have to order pay at the entry and then sit n relax and eat. The food was good. We ordered a pizza which was thick we felt. Taste was good. Also ordered ravioli with basil pesto. Which was delicious. They don't have any specific fresh mock tails. We only saw canned drinks and wine. Dessert we ordered a cannoli which I personally didn't like much. The shell felt hard and the filling was not as great. Overall a good place . It's not in the main area.

Cj M.

Yelp
Great food amazing business ( lasagna) just eat it ! Everything made out of that kitchen is made with rich flavors and love.

Stephanie T.

Yelp
I spilled my water everywhere so that was a wonderful ending to a fabulous lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Seating was plentiful when we arrived early lunch BUT became harder to find by the time we left. Food was amazing. Parking was great. Easy to find. Kid friendly. All of the "important" things when traveling with a big group with small children.

Ellie L.

Yelp
limited hours, limited menu (but all the stuff you could ever want to eat... pasta, pizza, desserts) This place is authentic no-pretense Italian. The food is legit, the decor is Tuscany tiles and no-fuss, the drinks are what I know and love (down to that bitter soda and the unsalted Florentine bread!) and they sell all kinds of things, from their own products (freshly made pasta and sauces) to Italian imports. prices are perfectly reasonable, around $20 a portion, on par with the region. However, it's very easy to rack up quite the bill thanks to all the yummy products for sale...!

Emma S.

Yelp
I tell everyone who asks for a restaurant recommendation to visit this place, even if they've never even heard of lil ole bainbridge island! The food here......changed my outlook on life. I've had fr Italian food before because ‍i studied abroad in italy‍ and the food at via Rosa eleven was....yeah I can't even explain it. GO HERE! Especially in summer! Such a nice little outdoor dining area. Makes me want to move to that lil ole island!

Michelle M.

Yelp
This is almost one of those spots you don't want to be discovered. It's off the beaten path in an unassuming parking lot, a favorite of locals. Their homemade pasta for takeout (bolognese, vodka sauce, and pesto among the family favs) was a bright spot of the lockdown days (years!). Now that they've reopened, I'm reminded how perfect their Neopolitan pizzas are. Ingredients are fresh, menu is varied and authentic, and staff is super friendly. You do order at the counter, then hope for one of their few indoor seats, or more available outdoor spots on their heated and tented patio.

Yadaira C.

Yelp
Great service, Amazing food, small, cozy place. The pizzas and dessert were great, love the little market. Very friendly, family business

Kate S.

Yelp
Such an incredible place - by far the best place to go on Bainbridge for food. The service was quick and the food was well priced. We had the seafood pasta, gnocchi, truffle pizza, and spaghetti amatriciana and it was more than enough food. We came on a sunny day, but I like that their patio area is covered in case it rained. Definitely recommend the seafood pasta and truffle pizza.

Alan F.

Yelp
Our neighborhood Italian restaurant. It's a secret, so don't tell anyone about the quaint and cozy atmosphere, the great menu, the specials, fresh ingredients, and top-notch wine selection.

Leo T.

Yelp
The food is just outstanding here. It's solid pasta and sauce every time. A bit of a drive but always worth it. Never left unimpressed.

Sylvia B.

Yelp
Huge fan of Via Rosa! From the pasta to the balsalmic vinegar on the salad, everything we ate was excellent. Cute patio, great service and a perfect day. What more could you ask for?

Cheyenne F.

Yelp
Was very speedy service and I loved the set up of paying at the counter and grabbing your food when it's ready. The outdoor space was so green and lovely, blocking the view of the parking lot. I wouldn't expect this to be a prime lunch spot, but I loved it! Wine and other Italian inspired food for purchase to go. I appreciated the kid menu items too!

AJ L.

Yelp
For their sauces alone, I'm willing to say Via Rosa puts out some of the best-tasting food on the island. All of the sauces I've tried there taste like something homemade, like they took a good deal of time and effort to make. Definitely a step above the average around here. That said, for the price, the pizza and pasta itself fell a little bit short of expectations. The pizza dough itself is very thin, very crisp, and has a nice flavor. Their marinara, like all their other sauces, is bright and tasty. Despite this, their margherita pizza was seriously underwhelming - the way the basil was on the pizza was a little sad but the real killer was the apparent lack of fresh mozzarella - it tasted a lot more like a parmesan pizza than anything else. Just seemed like a really strange thing to skimp out on, and based on other pictures it seems like going super light on the cheese may just be the standard here. In any case, I think there are better places to go for pizza on the island, thin-crust or otherwise (especially for the price!!) I didn't really take any particular issue with the noodles themselves (they weren't *unpleasant* to eat or anything) but the texture wasn't amazing and they've just never really impressed. Additionally, it's a little strange how long it took to get food given how fast fresh pasta takes to cook, their having sauces pre-prepared, and the size of their kitchen. But if you order ahead of time this probably isn't much of an issue - they seem to be doing a lot of take-out business. Cannoli was ok, not very sweet. Nice of them to have it at such a low price, one of my dining companions felt sure they were store-bought but I would probably still get one again. Altogether, it's far from bad food, and the location is pretty nice - they give you a good deal of options for take-home food, I like their "market" section. I'm not sure if I'd describe it as a "must-try" place - even at its best, it feels expensive for what you get. Still, I'd say it's one of the better restaurants on Bainbridge if money is no object. Kind of an iconic little location (Rolling Bay) to visit off the beaten path if you're a tourist. People definitely like this place for a reason.

Sydney B.

Yelp
Wowww! Our family friends took us to this little homemade Italian place. It's family owned, incredible curated and so fresh. The pasta you can tell is literally made moments before eating it and everyone is so sweet. Go here !!

David C.

Yelp
If you've been to Italy, you've had a taste of fresh, authentic Italian food (I hope). Want to go back for a bite, but can't take the time/money? Via Rosa is your next best bet. We've always done the take-away option--old habits from before they had seating and during the pandemic, so I'm not familiar with their dine-in option. Onto the food. You can never go wrong with their pastas; just don't overcook them, or it'll be bland, like store-bought pasta. Al-dente or a bit over if you must, but not more. We always go for a couple sauces (making sure the kids will be happy), but I grab whatever the specials are for that day. Eggplant parm was there the last time I was there, and it was excellent. In May/June, they will have limited amounts of garlic scapes pesto for sale. This is an absolute must-buy. It's like nothing else you've had before.

Latifa S.

Yelp
Pizza, pasta and then some!! Came across this place a few times before pandemic but never had enough time. Either wine tasting or pasta: usually brunch before wine. But finally we made it and for take out while we winery hop. I wanted to dine in/ patio dining but they didn't allow dogs/ my pup. So I got it Togo. They had all kinds of fresh pasta, sauces for sale as well as olives and wine. Since pasta isn't great for takeout, I went with pizza and cannolis. Takeout took about 25 minutes in the evening. It is very busy inside. Cute and busy. Hopefully I can dine in next time. Pizza/ I always get the same thing: margherita: it was a little too wet in the middle/ water. But I like the brucciate. The burnt-ish crust. Cannolis were delicious. Ate them on my ferry ride back home. Cannolis with a view! What's not to like.

Christina P.

Yelp
Strange that there were a ton of empty tables but they were all "reserved". It's a deli - why are you taking reservations? Be a deli or be a restaurant- oh and don't have people wait in line to order then tell them "can only offer take out". If that's the case say that up front.

Steve L.

Yelp
Phenonmeal food and service. Very authentic and great personal service from Pino, the owner.

Meralina M.

Yelp
This place is great. We love it!! The pizza is always on point! A little pricey, but worth it!! The sauce is amazing and so is the fresh pasta! I personally like my pappardelle a little thicker, and theirs is a bit thin, but I still order it every time I recommend this place to anyone and everyone when they want pasta on Kitsap!! They're simply the best and the most fresh! Currently they're only doing take out for hot meals Friday through Sunday but their market place is open during the week. Their website is updated with this information too :) This is a must try in bainbridge!!

steven k.

Yelp
Showed up today all the way from Bellevue. No dining or hot togo available. Very disappointing that they don't update their Yelp. Waste of time.

Cindy N.

Yelp
Via Rosa 11, located in the northeastern part of Bainbridge Island, offers some of the best Italian home cooking in the Puget Sound! They are located in a small plaza attached to a quaint grocery store, and during the pandemic, they offer either take out or outdoor dining in their heated and covered patio in the parking lot. 1) Service (+): Despite being a self-serve restaurant, Via Rosa 11's staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and attentive. We didn't make a reservation and walked in on a Saturday late afternoon without any issue grabbing a table. 2) Ambience (+): I love the cozy and rustic vibe of the restaurant that they were even able to replicate outdoors. 3) Food (+): The two of us ordered the Burrata Pomodoro as an appetizer, which featured fresh Burrata, cherry tomatoes, olives, house pickled onion, sweet baby pepper, pesto oil, arugula, and house balsamico. We also shared the Proscuitto and Rucola pizza, with fresh mozzarella, Prosciutto di Parma, arugula, and shaved parmigiano; and fresh cut pappardelle with Bolognese sauce. Everything was so delicious! 4) Alcohol/Drinks (+): There is a very large selection of pre-packaged non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. 5) Value for Money (+): The prices are very reasonable for the quality and freshness of the options with prices in the $10-$15 range for appetizers and $18-25 for the pastas.

Yelp
Amazing gem on Bainbridge Island! The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly and inviting. We ordered the mushroom pizza, bolognese, Caesar salad and the burrata special. Everything was great especially the canoli!

Yelp
Delicious! An Italian gem on the Island. Warm and cozy yet inviting. The owner/chef is very personable- he shared stories that inspired his receipts. We look forward to coming back and trying other Naples inspired dishes.

Yelp
Very clean and nice outdoor restaurant. You walk in and order first then they'll seat you, that was a little difficult just because it's a narrow area and we were a large party with kids and I was trying to read the menu and figure out what everyone was going to eat and drink, but besides that, the food was delicious, came out quickly. And the price was right! Everyone was very nice and helpful, answered all our questions.

Yelp
Really great little wood-fire grilled pizza place on Bainbridge Island! Thin crust, delicious sauce and fresh ingredients. Everything is made from scratch and prepared once ordered, so it does take a bit to get your food. They also make fresh pasta and sell to-go pasta, sauces, and pre-made meals (lasagna). Very friendly staff!

Yelp
Food is amazing and love the staff. The lasagna is very good and I always have leftovers for the next day. I love there market. So easy to grab pasta to cook at home.

Yelp
Great atmosphere with the patio seating on a sunny day. Service was great - everyone was super kind. Had a prosciutto & arugula pizza, burrata pomodoro salad, and tagliatelle with vodka sauce. The burrata salad was fantastic - the burrata and tomatoes were exceptionally delicious, and all the vegetables were super fresh. We also really enjoyed the pizza. We have no complaints about the pasta, but we might try a new sauce next time we go because I don't think the vodka sauce was our favorite. In any case, this place is a hit and would be happy to stop by any time we're on Bainbridge.

Yelp
Spent $100 on dinner for 3. When food came, I asked for a little Parmesan cheese for my pasta and they said "sorry, that's not free, but if you want some we can charge you for that." This wasn't a joke- really, verbatim. They do have solid food and I believe in supporting small business... but how much could charging for a spoonful of Parmesan save them When people are already buying food Vs. The super poor customer experience. Didn't leave feeling like I wanted to give them more money, sadly.

Yelp
Charming restaurant with fresh pizzas, what seemed like authentic grab and go items, and drinks. Minus a point for the wine- Would not recommend getting a glass of wine here. For $13 for 1 glass, It's not great wine and they serve it in a regular glass cup. Kinda pricey and ruined the taste of the wine when you don't serve wine in a proper wine glass.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Anecdotally, it was voted #1 pizza across Seattle area... https://www.theinfatuation.com/seattle/guides/best-pizza-in-seattle?utm_audience=sea&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9ZGYBhCEARIsAEUXITXzRe8niqCYndwhHU39zckOzGJYGhrjo2eAec9hpWZF0ZkymkAVQEUaAhNrEALw_wcB

Yelp
Their takehome dishes are fantastic! We got a lasagne, several kinds of fresh pasta, and some marinara sauce. All were excellent. If you just want to grab takehome from their marketplace, they are open more hours than Yelp lists for their bistro, so double check or call them.
