Fabulous park with everything you need for a lovely day out. There are lakes, Pagoda, playground, boating and so much more. On the Sunday we visited there was a farmer's market and an amazing range of street food trucks selling food from all over the world. Will definitely return.

Lovely little park with lots of ducks and geese. It has lots of benches and a lot of green space so it’s especially perfect for picnics. You can also ride some little boats for as many as five people and can choose between 30 minutes and an hour. That was a great hit with the kids and was also quite relaxing.

I wouldn’t recommend this park, especially for group visits with children. I came here with a group of disabled children and we struggled a lot. There were hardly any benches along the paths — just one here and another one very far away — so we had no proper place to sit together and feed the children. It was very disappointing and not at all suitable for families or groups who need more accessible seating areas. The park could really benefit from more benches and shaded resting spots.

Nice spacious Park good for all age ranges. Very appropriate for kids between 10-15 years age as there playgrounds have enough slides and swings for this age range. Good to stroll around in a good weather. A very nice cafe as well.

Victoria Park is one of East London’s most beautiful green spaces — spacious, well-maintained, and full of life. We were there recently for the kids’ sports day, and even though it started raining, the weather quickly cleared up, which was such a relief! The open fields were perfect for the event, and the children had a fantastic time running around. The park offers so much, including two fantastic children’s playgrounds, lovely lakes with pedal boats, charming cafés, and wide paths ideal for walking, jogging or cycling. There are also peaceful canalside spots, plenty of picnic areas, and regular community events and weekend markets. It’s a clean, safe, and inviting space that caters to all ages. Whether you’re visiting for a family day out, a solo walk, or just to relax with nature, Victoria Park is always a great choice.

Victoria Park in the early autumn is fantastic. The leaves are turn gold, red and brown. And during the sunset on clear day the trees glow as if under a spotlight on the trees. Entering via the canal in the bottom corner is a great way to start a loop of the park. Walkers, runners and cyclists of all ages make it a lovely atmosphere.

Yesterday, I went to Victoria Park to participate in a 5K run hosted by Run-Through. The park is very spacious, with a large pool of water in the middle. There's a playground for children, wheelchair-friendly, and smooth, even paths.

I went to victoria park with a few friends old and new on a warm Sunday afternoon. Although the park was busy (and some of it barricaded off for All points east) there remained ample space and opportunity to perch on some grass and take the air in your desired fashion. This space is due to the size and scale of the park. I did the maths - 86.18 hectares (0.8618 km²) of open space. At the housing density of the surrounding borough of Tower Hamlets (most densely populated borough in England) of 15,695 residents per km² this would see a 'typical' residential housing development on Victoria park providing housing for 13,525.951 people. This poses many questions. Who is going to live there? What happens to the other 0.049 of a person? Do they have to move out to Hackney? Or even Dagenham? Worry not dear reader, it will probably never happen and you're unlikely to be able to afford one even if it did! Instead just keep going to the park, drink your iced coffee or beer, eat your pastry or crisps and get over yourself, life's too short.
