The essential Vietnamese pho restaurants in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Viet Noodle Bar in Chinatown is a locally loved pho spot that serves multiple varieties of the Vietnamese soup including brisket, oxtail, rib-eye, fatty flank, and vegetable. Also on the menu are chicken soup, vermicelli, udon, and fried chicken wings." - Janna Karel

Viet Noodle Bar Review - Atwater Village - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The Vietnamese food at this bare bones spot is across the board pretty good. The chicken, beef, and vegan pho options all soothe the soul, and the banh mi come on freshly baked baguettes loaded with succulent protein fillings. But there’s one standout on the menu, and it’s really what you should order every time you come - the tumeric fish noodle. Springy vermicelli noodles are tossed with cilantro, green onions, fish sauce, crunchy shallots, and perfectly cooked flaky fish that sends turmeric coursing through your sinuses. You’ll notice this dish on almost every table, and that’s because it’s delicious." - Arden Shore

Google
Great food good service. I didn’t know what to order and I show the waitress a picture of what I wanted from a Thai restaurant in LA and it came out the same way and perfect. The oxtail soup was delicious and a slice beef soup. They have a new customer now.

Google
This restaurant truly left a mark on my heart. The food was so good—like, every bite felt thoughtfully made and full of flavor. You can just tell they care about quality here. I honestly couldn’t stop thinking about it after the first visit, so I had to come back… and it was just as amazing the second time. Definitely one of those places you keep coming back to because it just feels right.

Since moving here, this has easily become my go-to spot for pho and Vietnamese food 🍜💯 The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the flavor? Absolutely amazing every single time. I’ve tried other places, but nothing hits like Viet Noodle Bar. I’ve been here several times and keep coming back—I’ve even brought friends and family because I love it that much. It’s one of those spots you can always count on for a comforting, delicious meal. Highly recommend! 🙌🏼❤️

Google
Pho is good but grilled pork is hard. They raised the price recently and a pho is about $18 now. It's quite noisy eating in the restaurant

Google
Oh woooow. The pho here has so much flavor but is extemely light. They give a good amount of basil for you and the shrimp egg rolls are incredibly!!!!! This is a must eat everytime we visit for us !

Google
Service, food, and staff are exceptional!! I took my family here from out of state, and everyone was very impressed. Food is super fresh and tasty, and prices are reasonable. Also, they don't skimp out on the protein when it comes to pho. Keep in mind that this place is always packed, but seating usually comes faily quick. Thank you for being so generous when it comes to protein. (This is important because I usually pay for extra protein, and never do I get this same amount as I've gotten here). Very much appreciated.

Wasn't bad at all but wasn't great also.... service was good 👍 food came fast I would come back to try different things...

Google
Viet Noodle Bar is an absolute nightmare. I'm still reeling from the horrific experience we had at this place. Our evening was ruined when our car was broken into right in front of their restaurant and all our personal belongings, worth over $5000 were gone, all happened in front of this restaurant. Upon realizing what had happened, we immediately went inside to seek assistance. We were hoping for some basic human compassion, perhaps even a glance outside to assess the damage. Instead, we were met with a dismissive shrug and a curt "We don't have cameras." They acted like it was a normal occurrence, and they couldn't care less. They even mentioned that it has happened multiple times before, and they've done absolutely nothing to deter it, is infuriating. Let me be clear: I wasn't expecting them to solve the crime. However, the complete lack of empathy was shocking. The owner (or whoever was in charge) didn't even bother to step outside to see the damage. No offer of help, no concern, just a cold, uncaring attitude. What makes this even more horrific is that we had our baby and our 7-year-old with us. They were terrified. The shattering glass, the realization that everything we owned was gone, it was traumatic for them. The fact that a crime occurred directly outside their establishment and they couldn't be bothered to even look is utterly unacceptable. It speaks volumes about their disregard for customer safety and well-being. As for the food, it was...forgettable. Honestly, after the incident, it's hard to remember much of it. The prices were outrageous for the terrible food and service we received. Viet Noodle Bar is not just a bad restaurant; it's a danger to families. Avoid it at all costs. They don't care about your safety, they don't care about your children, and they certainly don't care about the food they serve.

Yelp
My friends and I visited on the third day of EDC weekend as soon as we woke up. It was busy inside and there was two other groups ahead of us waiting for tables. However, we didn't wait that long for a table for three people. It was at most ten minutes. My boyfriend and I shared the Goi Cuon (Spring Rolls with Pork and Shrimp), $8.95. They were nicely cut up into four pieces to share. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (Combination Pho), $15.95. Then, my boyfriend suggested we order something to-go to have for later once we return back to the hotel after the end of day three of EDC. I ordered the Bun Thit Nuong (Vermicelli Noodle with Egg Rolls and Charbroiled Pork), $15.95. The food was good! It filled me up, but I wasn't too full. Service was good! We were attended to in a timely order and whenever we had requests, they were fulfilled quickly. It was also very easy to find this restaurant and get parking.

Yelp
A friend of a friend recommended this pho spot to us, and it didn't disappoint! I loved how you could customize the meats that were inside, as most pho places had preset options on their menu. The pho itself was delicious, portion size was very fair, and the price fit what you were getting. I would definitely return to this spot if I was in the Vegas area and craving pho.
google avatar

Deion A.

Yelp
Spring rolls are a pretty standard dish, so it was surprising to see how underwhelming theirs were. A single slice of beef 2 pieces of lettuce and vermicelli to fill in for all the things that's lacking. Definitely not worth it.

Yelp
Food 7.8/10 This was my go to place for BBH when I come to Vegas. However, after the last two visits, it quality of the BBH went down. The flavor isn't there anymore. It's really sad because we usually come here at least once during our trip for their BBH. Also, the pepper sauce on the side to make it more spicy, doesn't taste the same as before. Not sure if they change the recipe or what, but it's not how I remember it. However, it's still better than most places...but I would probably come here for other items instead. With that said, on our second visit...I got their Bun Rieu, which was really good. If you like tomatoes, then I suggest you give it a try. I love the flavorful tomato broth it comes in, and the meat was really good this time. I didn't really have to add any additional sauce to it. Definitely 10/10 in my book. Overall, Viet Noodle Bar is still one of our staples when we are in Vegas for comfort food. It has a big menu to choose from, especially if you are craving some good broth after a night of partying and drinking. They have different type of noodle broth from Pho to rice plates, even hot pot. So give it a try if you are in the area. I still will come here when I'm in Vegas for their Bun Rieu for now, or if I'm too lazy to try a new place.

Yelp
As always, I like to preface my pho reviews by saying it's difinitely a hit or miss depending on personal taste- everyone has their own go-to flavor profile. For me, this spot absolutely hits the mark. I've tried a handful of pho places since moving here, and while some were good, none quite hit like the pho restaurant I used to have almost on a daily back home in CA... until I was recommended this place. Let me just say - We have a winner. The 25min drive to get my pho fix is completely worth it. The restaurant is spacious, the wait time is minimal, and the food? As kids today would say "bussin" The flavor is spot on (for my preference) nearly identical to what I was used to in CA. Bonus points: there's no extra charge for adding additional meat to your bowl. So I added some brisket in my very basic rare steak go to.

Yelp
I visited during EDC weekend, so there was a short wait. The tables turn fast; despite about five groups in front of us, we waited no more than ten minutes. Service is decent-- enough to get our order in and checks within a reasonable time. I always order the BBH. The broth isn't too spicy, but there are plenty of condiments available. They are VERY generous with the meat and noodles. Most of our group has relatively full to-go containers after eating. As for the price, most noodle soups will cost $16-$20, which isn't too bad!

Yelp
Great place for big parties. We came with 8 people and were accommodated immediately. Lots of tables and chairs for large parties. The bun bo hue is the best I've had in Vegas. Good amount of meat consisting of tendons, beef slices, and blood. Has a nice spice in the soup. The combination pho has an ok broth. The meat was tender. They also have the fresh noodles upon request. Good service and food came out pretty quick!
google avatar

Lianna T.

Yelp
Came here during EDC weekend so they were understandably busy. There were two parties of three ahead of us, and our group of four waited about 20 mins to be seated. Luckily, we beat the rush since multiple parties showed up after us. I ordered the small pho tai and my bf got the pho dac biet. Unfortunately, the broth was weak in flavor and tasted watered down, and the meat was tough and dry. I had higher expectations based on other reviews but was disappointed. The influx of customers that weekend could have impacted their usual quality, I'd probably give it another shot next time I'm in LV on a less busy day.

Yelp
This pho was the best pho I've had in my life. I'm from the east coast so maybe that's why but regardless I 100% recommend. The large is LARGE.
google avatar

Hanna S.

Yelp
There's so much competition in Chinatown, it's hard for a place to stand out. We had a perfectly good meal, just not necessarily one that will bring us back. The noodles and vegetables of the bun chao tom were tasty and fresh, but the shrimp paste a little dry. My husband had crispy rice noodles with seafood. The noodles were nicely browned, but the sauce was bland. Our server was patient and polite. We had to wait longer than we would have liked for the check.
google avatar

Yelp
Went here for brunch around 10:30 am on a Sunday. It wasn't busy when we went, but it got a lot busier around 12 pm, when we were leaving. The location is big and pretty clean. It was hot when we got there but they eventually turned on the air con which made our brunch so much more comfy. Tables were big and clean. The prices were a little higher than I've seen at some viet places but the portion size was HUGE! I got chicken vermicelli. The sauce was good, chicken was good, had a good amount of chicken compared to the noodles and veggies. Cost about $15 for the large bowl. It could probably feed two people! We would come back to this location, especially because the parking was easy which is sometimes hard to get in Chinatown. As for service, it was fine. Nothing horrible but nothing great either. Just normal.l where you can have a comfortable meal.
google avatar

Katrina C.

Yelp
Located off the strip in Chinatown where there are a variety of good restaurant options. Spacious restaurant with many different menu options. My friend and I got the combination and oxtail pho. The soup is light and a little sweet. The oxtail was tender and flavorful. Small bowl of combo pho was $16 and oxtail was $19 We also got viet coffee which was very strong (a little bitter for my liking) Overall good place for pho and casual Vietnamese food.
google avatar

Connie W.

Yelp
This is our local friend's favorite Vietnamese restaurant. I am from San Jose CA where we have a large Viet population so my bar is high. Ordered Bun Bo Hue cuz I saw lots of recommendations for this. I noticed they use chicken instead of steamed pork, lemon instead of lime, and cabbage instead of banana blossom. I understand that they need to adjust due to local resources. The taste and value was par. But somehow I got a short headache right after eating it. Not sure why since that is abnormal for me.

Yelp
The incredible Vietnamese food that I ate here is haunting me....still craving it hardcore but I can't find anything like it now that I'm back home in SD ; ( They have all the hits here from pho to goi cuon to bun and bahn xeo. They all taste great, and in SD it's imposible to find this variety, much less this high quality, at any single Viet spot For me the #63 Pho Ap Chau Chay stole the show--the ample portion, generous mix of fresh Veggies and tofu plus mild pho-flavored broth was all good but the still crunchy, wide noodles on the bottom of the dish were a new delight that nearly brought a tear of gluttonous joy to my eye. I just couldnt quit them til they were all gone. I also enjoyed bites of the shrimp Bahn xeo, which had a pleasing curry flavor, was light and crisp (not oily) and bountiful enough to share amongst 5 diners. The shrimp egg rolls were also good, with only a thin layer of fried exterior to complement each juicy, plump crustacean. I'm not a frequent Vegas traveler so I'll have to either sonehow find a local substitute or learn to make this exact Pho Ap Chau Chay on my own sometime soon before I become submerged in the treacly depths of culinary longing.

Yelp
Always love to come here! Have been coming here for years and the food is still the same we usually get the same server. He's Hispanic and the nicest and sweetest! Always attentive and making sure if we are enjoying our food.

Yelp
Friday 12:30pm . Off strip Vegas has additional Asian restaurant offerings from Korean , Chinese , Filipino and Vietnamese food . You would need a car to get to one of these places and lucky me , my friend has one . The place is a casual eatery with an open layout with high ceiling perfect for some of the food they serve as circulation is much needed with some tables grilling meat. We shared a calamari for starters ( it's ok ), she had the grilled shrimp and I had the vermicelli with beef and pork sausage ( which I only go the beef ). The serving are ample and don't think we needed to share an appetizer but if you come with a large group ( highly recommended ), you can share a few dishes and the venue is conducive for families , friends and a party size bigger than 2. Service was fast , friendly and efficient .

Vivian N.

Yelp
I had pho dac biet. Can't tell the difference with other pho places. It's good, but I don't like getting charged 3% for using my credit card. I don't support this type of trend so last time for me.

Yelp
Pros: The taste and portions Cons: The thing I always run into in Chinatown, traffic and parking Details: We went here based on a recommendation from a friend that goes often. Some of the best pho i have had. So many options and it was delicious. It was pretty busy when we went but service was still good. If this was closer to our side of town we would got a lot.
google avatar

Pro S.

Yelp
Decent pho, not the best, not the worst. Good spot to go after a night drinking and on the strip. The egg rolls were good, they come with lettuce and herbs and the Vietnamese fish sauce to dip.
google avatar

Alissa H.

Yelp
Probably one of my favorite pho spots!! The space is pretty big and we came for lunch on a Friday so it wasn't busy. I got their phone with brisket! It was so tender and the broth was sooo delicious and had so much flavor! We also got their chicken wings which were yummy! It tasted like fish sauce but citrusy! So so goood! The shrimp fried rice was super good as well! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
First time trying this spot out, and it was worth it. Seating didn't take long for my group of 2, and thankfully we got a booth. There's community tables for larger groups which is cool. Ambiance was mellow, several people enjoying themselves, with moderate noice level & music for a chill vibe. Food was very good, and expected price point to match. Tried the spring rolls to start, and then a couple combo dishes to try out multiple options. Tasty bites, each one. With so many options to choose from, it's always good to have a few go-to spots in your rotation. This one just made the roster lol! Hours are pretty decent, so check it out! Enjoy!

Yelp
Good food fresh and service is ok hit and miss but I still come here is been over 15 years

Alex D.

Yelp
Great pho broth here Fast service Unique desserts are offered here Clean restrooms
google avatar

Clara C.

Yelp
Viet Noodle Bar is a bit farther from the strip than is Pho Kim Long, but it's still a solid spot to get pho. There is a parking lot, but it was full at the time of my visit. I don't know where else you would park if you couldn't find a spot here. Pray that someone is leaving lol. Upon entering, I was greeted and told to put my name on the waitlist. They had chairs in the waiting area. Since my group was 8 people, they put us at a long table. One person in my group told three different people he wanted a Vietnamese coffee, but it took a fourth person and 15 minutes to finally bring it. I got a pho ga, and it was just the right amount of meat. It felt clean. I really enjoyed it.
google avatar

Thao C.

Yelp
The food is just ok. The service is friendly. The restroom should be more sanitary. The broth of some soup taste the same such as " Banh canh and Hu tieu".
google avatar

Clint B.

Yelp
Walked in on a Saturday night around 7 and it was only half full. The interior is a large, open space. We were quickly seated in a comfy booth. Service was quick. Not particularly friendly, but we got our food not too long after we ordered and didn't see anyone stop by until we were done. Portions are large. The bún was served in a large bowl with two chopped up egg rolls along one side, charbroiled pork along the other, and a mound of noodles on the bottom. Loved the flavors and would definitely order it again.
google avatar

Chey I.

Yelp
Busy vietnamese food spot! Authentic! Food comes in fast tho even place is always busy and crowded. Got lucky we got a table right away in our group of 8. Their boi tai chanh is such a big heaping serving of meat!
google avatar

Ellen Z.

Yelp
Who doesn't love hot pho in LV on a 118 degree summer day? That's how much we wanted to check out Viet Noodle Bar. Every dish was flavorful and light. The noodles were cooked just right in both the pho and soupless noodles. The charbroiled pork chop was yummy and the egg rolls had the perfect crunch. Service was friendly and quick. Would definitely come back and check out other items in their massive menu.
google avatar

Bonnie N.

Yelp
This place is THE place to go for delicious Vietnamese food! Their pho and bo nuong vi are my favorite dishes here, but I also recently tried their banh hoi bo nuong la lot and it was sooo good! Generous portions and they don't skimp on the lettuce to wrap your rolls. My boyfriend's only complaint is they have rice dishes but with steamed rice, not broken rice (com tam). Sometimes they're really busy but it's worth the wait for the food. Service is pretty good although it was hard to flag someone down to pay the bill - unless maybe it's just us and you're supposed to pay up front, but not sure about that. Anyway, I'm sure we'll be regulars here especially since they open til midnight every night.
google avatar

Krissy B.

Yelp
They have the best oxtail pho! Last time I went here was 5-10 years ago and it's still just as good. There's plenty of parking and it's open late so it's perfect after a night of drinking. The service is super fast and one of the guys actually let me know that they will have my pho out in a couple minutes. Service is fast and on point. We didn't have to wait long at all. The restaurant is really big inside too. If you're craving for pho check it out and don't forget to grab a Vietnamese iced coffee!
google avatar

K K.

Yelp
I did take out. Order was correct and made quickly. The spring rolls are awesome! The vegetarian pho was not great. The broth wasn't very flavorful but the ingredients are great! I'd come back here for sure. Just wouldn't get this broth.
google avatar

Weelowie K.

Yelp
It's nice that this place is a little bit away from the busy China town Spring Mountain area. We've never had food that was bad here. Service is always good and portions are always good. You have to come up to the cashier to pay. We've made the mistake of sitting and waiting for the check before. They never rush or ask you to leave.
google avatar

Marivic C.

Yelp
I don't usually give 3 star ratings but I wanted to just take note that the expectations of the Noodles that I ordered wasn't up to my expectations this day that I ordered the Chicken noodle birds nest.. Sauce was not as much and chicken was shredded.. like huh? Usually its chopped up and cubed. But oh well. Especially when you have a craving and when you order the food its not what you expected. Hopefully next time, It will be cooked to my standards :)
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
Quite delicious and authentic pho that can hold its own. Seems like a pretty authentic and genuine Vietnamese shop as well with standard, quick service. Our bowls came out within minutes of ordering. Our large bowls were HUGE and it tastes a very hungry person to finish all of it so if you're not starving then maybe get the regular size so you don't hate yourself by the end of it haha. Unfortunately, we ordered some to go pho to take home and this took like 30 minutes because something went wrong in the back or something? This was quite annoying sitting there for so long
google avatar

Mari A.

Yelp
Best pho in Las Vegas! You know it's good when it's jam packed with Vietnamese people every-time you go there! The dining room is pretty roomy but it fills up! I order for pick up sometimes instead to avoid the wait! I love the way they package everything separately. Spring rolls are good! I usually get the pho rib eye. Chicken pho is good too! This place honestly doesn't even need my review because everyone knows this place is the best!
google avatar

Christina Y.

Yelp
I was so hungry when we got there so every thing before the main item didn't get a picture but I'd recommend this place if you are interested in some Vietnamese food. We started with both kinds of spring and an order of egg rolls. They were both good portions and full of flavors. If you don't mind meat on the bone get the pho oxtail, it's different with a great broth and flavor.
google avatar

Thais S.

Yelp
Fast service, friendly staff and the most delicious pho! I usually order the vegetable pho with beef broth, it hits the spot every single time and is so savory. I also order their house fried rice which has beef, veggies, shrimp and chicken. Full of flavor every time! Small place tucked in china town but worth checking out!
google avatar

Rosa C.

Yelp
This is THE SPOT for the best pho and authentic Vietnamese dishes in LV. Every time we visit, we have to stop by for their pho. Sometimes there's a wait, but the line always move by quickly. My favorite dish here is the bun bo hue, and they're incredibly generous with the amount of meat and pork's blood. The broth is also flavorful but not overwhelmingly spicy. We also got the chicken salad last night and it was refreshing & delightful, especially with the shrimp chips. We will definitely be back again!

Ryan S.

Yelp
Decent food and portions, credit card fees fail. There's plenty of tasty competition in vegas not to deal with that.
google avatar

Ronald W.

Yelp
I've been coming here for a few years. Best oxtail pho in my book. Lots of oxtail, flavorful broth. Can't ask for anything more.
google avatar

Cris S.

Yelp
One of our favorite spots to go to for beef stew. Huge portions good enough for 2. Cool vibe and atmosphere, great service and food is very flavorful. Lots of parking and very spacious restaurant. Open late.
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
Bun Rieu!! This is my favorite pho place in Las Vegas!! Especially their bun rieu, which is much tastier than at other restaurants! The balance of the crab cake and tomato broth is perfect, and the noodles are more firm and delicious compared to others. They also have many other menu items, all of which are just as good, if not better, than those at other places. The Vietnamese woman who serves us is always so kind and friendly!
google avatar

Vi Y.

Yelp
Ordered through Door Dash since it was one of the few pho spots open late. Broth was super salty, and couldn't taste any bone broth. I asked for fresh/wide noodles and they sent a clump of thin noodles. Last time giving them a try.
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
Average service and ambience. Nothing special. Food is better than average still way too much msg like any other restaurant
google avatar

Robert A.

Yelp
excellent pho and spring rolls. egg rolls were very good as well huge portion of pho. would definitely go back

Yelp
What a disappointment and one of the worst experiences I have had recently. First. The entry way is kinda cool but the seats were dirty, still had food all over. I wiped the seat myself in front of the waiter and he didn't bother to help. The water was served immediately. The menu did not have any photos. All the dishes had vietnamese name with brief English explanation of the contents. The price of the menu isn't any cheaper. Their coffee and pho cost more than California prices. $6.95 for a cup of vietnamese coffee, better be some superb vietnamese which I was highly skeptical. We asked the Guatemalan waiter what the other table was having, and he couldn't name it, probably due to miscommunication. I asked if he could point at the name of the dish on the menu and seemed like he was not sure. He called the other server, a Vietnamese lady, who didn't really help at all. After the frustration, we all ended up order a large bowls of house pho. What could go wrong, right? The bowls were served immediately. The tasteless, worthless, scentless, and worst pho I have ever had. We are talking about $16.95 per bowl, not some $7 cheap pho. Even BMC tastes better than this. Not only the broth lacked any essence of beef bone, the noodle itself was mehhh. And my bowl was missing all the beef tendons. I had zero tendons as I specified. The first time, I did not bother to finish the broth at all. My bowl was 3/4 full at the end. The waiter came and asked how was everything? I answered, I did not have any tendon in my bowl, but I had some fat beef flanks. He said but you already finished your meal. I said no kidding, how would I find out that there was no tendon without digging into the bowl? Or should I inspect for tendon before I started my meal? He verbally apologized. Our entire party left this place with a huge dissatisfaction. Will never come again. It gets a 1.2 out of 5. The 0.2 for the verbal apology.

Yelp
Great Vietnamese food! Service was fast! They get busy but things move fast! Food was on point! Definitely be back!
google avatar

Khanh M.

Yelp
We ordered pho & bun bo. 10 times better than pho Kim Long. Staffs were friendly. Highly recommended!!!
google avatar

Min Ju K.

Yelp
Probably one of the best pho places in LV! Also like their bbq. Staff are prompt. Clean restaurant. Would recommend if you're looking for some hearty noodle soups!
