Vietnamese Delight

Ordered on Ubereats 20 mins away and the food arrived hot and fresh. I’ve been craving pho and Vietnamese coffee for a week, it was my first time ordering here since everywhere else was closed since it is 9am lol. I tried their special pho and it was soooo good. I don’t know if it’s lemongrass but the aromatics were perfect. The portion is great, great noodles, and just overall delicious.

Ordered via GrubHub and received Pho Ga (chicken), a spring roll appetizer, and Thai iced tea. **Delivery:** The meal arrived securely packed in a large brown bag. Each item was individually contained to prevent spills. While the food was still hot upon arrival, the broth's temperature had slightly affected the container's integrity. Despite this, all items were intact. **Quality:** Overall, the food was satisfactory. However, the side ingredients like bean sprouts, mint, and basil were sparse and not of the best quality. Only a fraction of these ingredients was usable. The chicken in the pho was a bit bland and slightly tough. **Taste:** The pho broth, a pivotal component, was average at best. It seemed as though it might have been prepared from a seasoning pack. While not bad, it lacked depth and didn't stand out. However, with added ingredients like hoisen and a touch of spice, the taste improved. On a scale, it would be rated a 6 out of 10. The spring rolls offered a pleasant surprise with their crispy interior, enhancing the overall experience. The Thai iced tea was decent but not extraordinary. **Final Thoughts:** For those seeking outstanding pho, this might not be your top pick. However, if you're near the USC campus and looking for a convenient option with decent pho, it's worth considering. As a USC student, I find it satisfactory for regular orders.

love this place! open late for LA (11 p.m.), but don’t try to go there physically unless you’re driving through. it’s possible, but super inconvenient. if you can order it, that’s ideal. their beef pho is delicious, some of the best i’ve ever had. their thai tea is also great, get it every time. their banh mi is yum (i always get the egg one because if i want meat, i get the pho). they’re great at packaging liquids for delivery, i’ve never had a problem with anything spilling — drinks or soups. try it out!!

Pho broth did not taste like Pho at all. It Tasted like some sort of soy sauce based broth. Portions were small and expensive. Noodles tasted like they used dehydrated noodles, not fresh noodles.

I had probably the worst Vietnamese food of my life from this place. I ordered the pork Bahn mi and the chicken pho. My two go to items. The pork in the sandwich tasted like it had been sauced with the most disgusting sauce I don't even know. Like some kind of over-concentrated over-fermented soy taste. I could barely taste any of the other ingredients over it. Gross. The pho was not much better. The chicken was like rubber. The broth was so overly sweet it was hard to enjoy. Nothing like the lovely herbal, medicinal tasting broth I hope for. This was the other end of the spectrum. Sugar water with no love in it whatsoever. Never, ever going back.

Asked for spicy broth on Uber eats . Got a broth that was smothered in nothing but dried crunchy seasoned herbs that would not dissolve. If you ask for a spicy broth, it’s obviously supposed to be spicy where you could dissolve it and enjoy it like broth and not feel spicy herbs

Really liked the spicy lemongrass broth. Not a fan of the fettuccine style noodles at all. Overall, BLACK GIRL APPROVED 👍🏾

Make sure you order the right things. I frequent the Spring Rolls, sandwiches, and sparkling lemonade. I am heavily lactose intolerant and it’s nice to have so many safe options here. I realize most people go for Pho from a Vietnamese place but the sandwiches are my fav from here. Their pho isn’t bad but the sandwiches are where it’s at. That said I like small bites and this gives me plenty of add on options if I want them. Also if you are a beverage person they absolutely have you covered. For once a can of coke is priced right in LA ($2). I might not be someone who has a crazy good food palette but I appreciate food that makes me feel cozy and healthy. It feels like a lot of love is put into some of the dishes here. If that’s your thing this is a good place to try.

This is the first pho place that I've tried in LA( have tried many places) has culantro which makes me surprised and happy cause that how authentic pho is. I usually get the beef pho and flaming pho. As a picky Vietnamese eater, I'll say this place is legit. The broth is tasty and flavorful. It doesn't taste like the pho broth that has a lot of pho spice seasoning which I don't like. And the flaming pho broth is good too. The smell and taste are kinda like bun bo hue( viet spicy beef noodles). It's funny because it smells and tastes better than some places actually sell bun bo hue. Their pho noodles are the fresh, big, flat one which I like, not the dry, thin small noodles. The portion( meat, noodles, veggies) is a bit small but I don't mind it. I did order 3 days in a row after first time tried this place that how good it is. This place and pho Saigon Republic are my most favorite pho places in LA. Taste almost like authentic pho.

Ordered delivery. Pho - Noodles were not correct pho noodles. They were a different type of over cooked soggy rice noodles. Beef was overcooked and tough. The soup base was good but not good enough to make you ignore everything else. Egg Roll - Okay. Banh Mi - Okay.

It's no phone number to call and they not reply or answer anything service! There is no way to contact them if something go wrong

This place is so good.... Ordered delivery through DoorDash and everything was perfect. The banh mi & Vietnamese coffee for like $13 is a deal and the sandwich is really quite big. The Vietnamese coffee is amazing. Amazing food with great prices overall. Would love to try their pho next time.

First time Aiden fell. It taste good so far I haven't taste others to make a comparison. I actually did an online delivery with Uber eats so I thought I'd come over to yup and post a review but so far is good I like the fresh basil taste.

It's in a non-traditional food spot (it's like a drive thru depot where you pick up your order and you place ur order in advance) which is cool. My husband went for me and said the people were really nice. The food was yummy! definitely loved the broth of the pho i chose (the spicy one). highly appreciate its location and the drive thru vibe.

Overall: 3.6/5 We ordered on Ubereats and it delivered in about an hour. Everything was packed neatly and still warm. Fried Tofu With Mushrooms ($6.36): This order comes with 6 pieces and sweet chili sauce to dip. I don't really taste the mushrooms but the texture was good. In terms of flavor, it was good too but nothing amazing. I feel like this is something you can get at any Vietnamese deli store, at least in the Bay Area; I don't know what it's like here. Fried Beef Balls ($6.36): This comes with 6 pieces. The beef balls are the ones you see in pho but they just fry it. It was interesting to try but we wouldn't get it again. Grilled Pork Banh Mi ($9.75): None of the Vietnamese flavors came through. The grill pork lacked umami. The picked vegetables didn't have any acidity. The bread was the only good thing that was crunchy on the outside. The portion is pretty good too. I shared half with my husband. Teriyaki Chicken & Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli Bowl ($14.95): This was an Asian fusion bowl. Unfortunately, teriyaki chicken does not go with fish sauce. The two flavors were too clashing that I felt like I was eating completely different dishes. The lemongrass beef was good though. Large Iced Vietnamese Coffee ($5.95): This was pretty good and definitely strong. I saved some for the following morning and it has a very strange taste so make sure to mix well at the beginning?

Vietnamese Delight hits the mark: fast, affordable, and delicious. The spicy lemongrass pho is one of my favorite items on the menu and I always have leftovers when I order delivery.

Unfortunately not a fan. Banh Mi was soggy and had too many mushrooms also had a very strange taste & smell. Had to come home and doctor up with spring rolls with my own sauces , i don't know why mushrooms are in the spring rolls or the sandwich and so many of them. The strawberry lemonade tasted like some very sugary kool aid. The best thing about this meal was the little crunchy piece in the spring roll. All and all we tried it was disappointed and we won't be back , doesn't mean it's not for anyone else just not us.

Incredible pho broth!!! Absolutely delicious. Seasoned to perfection with the perfect balance of flavor. I've ordered her several times through postmates and am NEVER disappointed. I'd eat pho from here in warm and cold weather. Definitely a thumbs up! Highly recommend.

I really appreciate that they're open late. You do pay for it, though--$22 for regular beef pho, which isn't a huge portion, but it tastes great. Just a heads up, they only offer to-go orders, and the ordering process is a bit odd: you place your order at a kiosk and then walk to the restaurant to pick it up. If there aren't any of my favorite pho places open late, I'd come here, but I wouldn't choose it during regular hours.

If I could leave a zero star, I would've. If you genuinely think this is authentic or remotely close to Vietnamese food, then you are wrong. Not only is accessing where to eat difficult and scary, the food was horribly bland. The nuoc mam was basically water. If you want to save your taste buds and actually try authentic or close to authentic Vietnamese food, please go somewhere else.

Ordered the pho shrimp via Uber Eats today. That was the nastiest pho I have ever had. I have ordered pho from other places for takeout and those were fine. But this pho is awful. The shrimp that are claimed to be "grilled" were cold to the touch and they were salty and inedible. Thank god I added a side of brisket for protein. The broth was soooo salty and cold that I had to water it down with boiled hot water. I had to microwave everything which is a first with takeout pho because usually the broth is scalding hot. In the past, I have ordered the rice plates, Banh mi, Vietnamese iced coffee, and strawberry green tea from here and those were fine. But the pho I am definitely not reordering.

I was craving Vietnamese coffee and needed some food, so I decided to order from here for delivery. The food was so good that I had to pause halfway through to write this. I got my coffee and it's everything I love about Vietnamese coffee. The Banh Mi with grilled pork & the spring rolls are absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I ordered from this place & definitely will again!

The Pho was delicious by far one of the best I've had because of how flavorful the broth was alone. Adding everything together just made the dish better. I also had the Grilled Pork Banh Mi which was good, a bit more sweet than I expected but still good. Thai Tea was *chefs kiss* and the fact that it was packed so well in the bag that it didn't spill by the time the food got to me was much appreciated. I would definitely order from here again.

The service here is great and the people is nice but the food is not quite the Vietnamese flavor. We got bun thit nuong, banh mi and spring rolls but it does not have any of the flavor. Most of the food was very bland. The banh mi had no pate or butter like your typical banh mi. The bun thit nuong fish sauce was definitely water so we had to make our own. And better yet they gave us the wrong order of chicken thit nuong instead of the pork. If you want some Vietnamese food, I suggest going to a place that is really authentic. This is like a Panda Express of Vietnamese fusion.

If you like traditional pho with the glass noodles, I wouldn't recommend this spot. The noodles are my fave part of pho, so to come here and have linguine-like soggy noodles was a no go to me.

No Parking that's the concept! It's a cute drive thru with several different restaurants that you pre-order, and drive-through for your pick up. Quick and super easy! 1: Order on line 2: Drive to the alley 3: check-in at the 1st drive thru station & they will tell you what room# your food is located. I ordered a bing meh sandwich and let me say the sandwich was well prepared but it was not authentic. Felt like if they put together a light tasting teriyaki chicken sandwich. It had no authentic spices or flavors but the sandwiches was ok.

Awful Pho. Don't waste your money. The "beef" was terrible. Probably microwaved. Seriously. Very disappointing.

I was very happy with my chicken teriyaki plate. Its a good value, the rice and chicken lasted me for two meals. This is Vietnamese style chicken teriyaki but it was delicious. The fresh parsley really kicked it up a notch. The chicken was nicely seasoned. The star was the coffee. I feel like it's an excellent value and was nice and strong. As someone who works long hours this is greatly appreciated. The service was super friendly. I can't wait to try some pho and some spring rolls. I tried to place my order online but I couldn't place it through Yelp. Maybe there's a glitch. I don't believe there's apple pay either so be prepared with a card. The only two minor issues is the food temperature and location. My food could have been served a bit hotter. The location is interesting, I like the cute shops all in one place, but there's a lot of debris up front. Can't wait to try more items!

Ordered this via ubereats and everything was bland but the nuoc mam. I ordered the lemon grass beef banh mi and lemon grass spring rolls. The spring rolls were fine since the sauce was its saving grace. The meat alone was dry. In the banh mi it had some sweet sauce that was added to the meat that I didn't like. There was no jalapeño in it. The lemon grass flavor was barely there and they skimped on the vegetables. The vegetables itself weren't sour either. Not authentic Vietnamese food. Would order again if i don't wanna leave the area since it's near my workplace.

First time ordering from them and got my order wrong. I keep lent so I ordered shrimp and got chicken delivered. Spent 70.00 on food and couldn't eat half of it. The worst part is they don't have a number to call.

This place is actually part of those drive through ghost kitchens! It's super convenient and perfectly priced. We order a bunch to try because we were starving!! We got the Beef Pho, Teriyaki Chicken Bahn Mi, and shrimp spring rolls. We ordered through yelp, got a text confirmation right after it was placed saying that the restaurant will text us when our food was ready and where to check in. We only waited 20 mins and we're also surprised with 2 free drinks with who I suspect was the owner when we picked up our food. We got home and before we even put on our show 1/2 our food was gone!

Consistently delicious pork banh mi sandwiches. Excellent customer service. Will be back!

So good!! I ordered pho and banh mi from Vietnamese Delight at least 2-3 times via Uber Eats/Postmates and I have not been disappointed! Take it from a Vietnamese gal - the food is great here!

More like 3.5 stars but in my top 5 worst pho dishes i've ever had so rounding down. I ordered delivery from here and there were some highs but also a low. I ordered the beef pho, the egg rolls and the chicken spring rolls. To be fair, the egg rolls and chicken spring rolls were some of the best I've ever had from a pho place. They were both thick and abundantly filled with their respective ingredients and i will honestly order their egg rolls and spring rolls again. The pho was where it went down hill. The beef pho came with overcooked, dry pieces of steak, it had a ton of pepper which was so confusing and random, and their noodles were strangely very thick, definitely not the traditional bowl of pho. The broth lacked flavor - i think i've had better tasting broth from instant pho bowls from the store. TLDR: Get their spring rolls and egg rolls but skip the pho.

This food is bussin. I've been to a lot of pho spots and none of them can compare to this place. The spring roll sampler and chefs special flaming pho shrimp is a must order. All it just needed was a taro milk tea. But other than that this place is phenomenal!

In case it sways you, I am Vietnamese American and always crave Viet food in LA area without having to drive to Westminster / Little Saigon in OC. I discovered them on Uber Eats and have now ordered from them 2x. Today, I ordered the egg banh mi, chicken banh mi, a mushroom salad which came with egg rolls, and tofu spring rolls. YUM!!! It's authentic to me; would be great if they had peanut sauce instead with the spring rolls, as that's my preferred sauce - but that's OK (I can make my own). Their prices are reasonable; and the food was delivered FRESH, HOT and well packaged. I highly-highly recommend Vietnamese Delight if you want quality Viet food in the LA area. :). I think they're close to USC so I imagine it's good for students.

My review is based solely off my experience through Postmates but truly I love this Viet place! It's probably number 1 for me in terms of Viet fast food near DTLA. The broth for the Flaming pho beef is SO GOOD. It honestly doesn't even need all the hoisin sauce most pho broths almost always require! I will say though that this broth is definitely hit or miss because it's not exactly your traditional pho broth, so you either like it or you don't but I personally grew up eating pho so it's amazing to me lol. The spring rolls are also ALL so delicious & come with a generous amount of protein in them which is so rare nowadays. Another fave dish of mine from here is the beef vermicelli.. Ugh just writing about it makes me want it more now lol it's perfect especially when you're trying to stay on the healthier side of things! As far as drinks, I've only ever had the iced Lychee Green Tea & man...that drink alone should be sold in larger quantities because I can't get enough of it!! Overall, love this joint & can't wait to order it soon again!

My cousin suggested that I come here. One of his favorite pho joints near his house. So we went in for lunch. It was a beautiful day as we sat on the patio. I delegated ordering to my cousin. For our appetizer, he ordered Fried Beef Dumplings. It was tasty, very meaty, hot, and not greasy. He also got three Flaming Pho Beef. I enjoyed the broth; it was flavorful and delicious, and the meat was tender. The portion size was average. For the Banh Mi, my cousin got himself the eggs with soy sauce, grilled pork for me, and teriyaki chicken for Ryan. Yes, we fell in love with this place. I'd return for another quick bite. Although the service was slow, the server was attentive.

I'm a big Vietnamese food buff. Boston runs on Dunkin, I run on Vietnamese. I've had Vietnamese that was Chinese. I've had Vietnamese that was actually Vietnamese and I'd say this Vietnamese was American. The flavors weren't quite as deep. The pho broth was more a chicken broth than a bone broth. The meat comes cooked already. The noodles are pad thai noodles and not the usual thin ones. The fish sauce for the vermicelli was not as flavorful and a little watery, didn't pack a punch. My hands usually smell of fish, which is awful, but that's the barometer here, fishy smelling hands were not to be found here. BUT! was it still good? Yes. Was it quality? Yes. Will I order from here again instead of my go to spot? Maybe.

Good food. I love that they have different spring rolls. In most Vietnamese restaurants you have the traditional spring rolls with just shrimp and pork. But these guys go in. Beef spring rolls!?!?! Are you fuckin kidding me???? YUM!!!!

5+ Stars!!!!! First time trying and it was the BEST Bahn Mi sandwich I had in my entire life!!! I really didn't feel easy & comfortable trying this aisle of this downtown restaurant/kitchen shacks for the first time. There were more than 15+ choices of restaurants & different kinds of menu to choose from, I was SO GLAD that I chose Vietnamese Delight. Not only the food tasted amazingly good & fresh (that I couldn't stop eating bites at red lights during rush hour traffic on Friday in DTLA & freeways), the staff (probably the owner or chef) was so kind and friendly. He recommended me to try their pho next time. I am 200% sure it will be very GOOD since I have tasted their food. My wish: they open a restaurant where we can sit & dine-in to enjoy their amazing Vietnamese food SOON!

Wow! What an amazing first experience. Gentleman (i didn't get his name) was so nice and hospitable. He offered to make my coffee hot and proceeded to gift it to me on the house. The beef pho soup was delicious, just what we needed! All flavors were amazing . Cant wait to come back and try something else. Thank you Vietnamese delight!!

I am not Vietnamese but I think these may have been the worst banh mis we've ever had. The spring rolls were also flavorless and the sauce added nothing. I'm so confused by the high reviews. The service was quick and friendly, the the drive thru experience was seamless so maybe that would warrant 2 stars? I'm not sure but honestly the flavors were barely existent, total disappointment. Also, so much waste in packaging

It's fine but nothing special. Pho makes me want to go to Golden Deli instead. Bahn Mi makes me want to go to Che Cali instead. One bahm mi here costs the same as 3 at legit spots in San Gabriel valley but they have USC rent to pay for and USC students to afford those prices. Given the option, I'd rather drive to San Gabriel valley or Gardena or Torrance to get tastier Vietnamese. But, if traffic sucks I'll come here instead. No wait, there's Shin Sen Gumi here too, I'd get that instead.

Worst banh mi I ever had. No pickled Daikon. Carrots are not pickled right. No jalapeños. Put cilantro to banh mi? Lack of essence of good banh mi

I eat vietnamese pretty often and this has to be the worst. I've never had a bad experience before at other places and I regret not checking Yelp before ordering here today. ALL the meat in every dish we ordered was dry and overcooked. Definitely not authentic vietnamese. Also the absolute worst watery fish sauce I've ever had. Never ordering here again

Got the shrimp pho, beef pho, and shrimp spring rolls. The food was very tasty, usually I'm not a fan of the bigger noodles but it works, satisfied my cravings I love how they put the crispy wafer stick inside the spring rolls for a crunchy texture surprise. Definitely will be ordering again when I have my pho craving!

Ordered off of postmates and everything was perfect. I got spring rolls (bbq chicken + lemon grass beef) both were exactly what I wanted. Great portion sizes! Everything was very neatly packaged and was fresh. I will definitely be coming back!

Very good Pho broth. Great Flavors with bone marrow soup base. Chef says No MSG was added. Chicken wings were well marinated and serve with celeries and baby carrots. Over all great experience and tasty Food. A

Back again with a five star review. This place never disappoints! I ordered their pho for the first time because I'm sick and I am very picky about pho because I'm sensitive to spices... OMG SO F'N good. I've ordered the shrimp spring rolls probably 20-30 times and never been disappointed. Eat here !!
