If I could give partial stars, this would be a 4.5, but I would round up to 5 rather than down to 4!
the short of it: i had the dark chocolate vineyard latte and the capresse croissant sandwich; both were very, very good! the latte i would absolutely get again. it was almost exactly $20 for coffee and sandwich both. i would say the coffee was worth it, especially since it was a specialty drink. the food i would probably pass on next time.
For more detail, Vigo does a lot of things right. The menu has a few interesting options while also having some staples. It has the seating for working and also plays the music at about appropriate volume to facilitate that (i can't even begin to say how much i appreciate that; i have sensory issues and most cafes are HELL for me because they are playing the music at club volumes). they have clean, gender-neutral bathrooms and an interesting but sleek dining area.
it took a while to get my order, though, and my barista forgot to warm my croissant. this leads me to my one criticism which is that, while there seemed to be at least 3 staff members around, there was only one barista. and this was during lunch hour! poor guy knocked it out of the park and was really fast for being the only person working the front, but this would easily be solved by having two people at the front.
