Chic Mediterranean restaurant combining exquisite cuisine with a vibrant atmosphere, live music, and late-night dining.
"The only spot on this map with a dress code is Villa Azur. This restaurant turns into a nightclub later in the evening, so dressing to impress is imperative. Dinner reservations are the move here, and don’t hesitate to dive into the seafood options at this French-inspired Mediterranean spot." - Courtney E. Smith
"Dallas micro-celebrities like food influencers, Real Housewives, and underground rappers all come to Villa Azur to keep the night going after Mavs games at the American Airlines Center. That’s to say: you’re coming here for the vibes, so settle into a cushy booth with a fancy cocktail and take it all in. The meats here are solid, but the standout is the branzino filet that’s prepared tableside with sun-dried tomato paste and lemon brulée. After your meal, follow the partiers to the real afters at the W hotel next door." - Lee Escobedo

"Located in the W Hotel is Vickery Park, this place keeps it upscale seven days a week (the dress code is “elegant chic”). It’s all airy off-white and navy spaces with more than a passing nod to the grandiosity of Miami dining—that’s where the concept was created. The menu consists of Southern French-inspired cuisine that’s heavy on seafood, butter, and heavy creams." - Courtney E. Smith
"Villa Azur, a swanky restaurant with locations in Las Vegas and Saint Tropez, opens its latest outpost today inside the W Hotel in Victory Park. The new restaurant brings a French Riviera aesthetic to Dallas, with highly stylized white interiors and mid-century modern accents. By night, it converts from a glitzy dining room into a nightclub featuring dancers, live saxophonists, DJs, and more. Under the guidance of executive chef Carlos Torres, Villa Azur’s menu features Mediterranean French specialty dishes, such as the pâtes à la meule, which is served table-side in a parmesan wheel. Other offerings include seared octopus, spaghetti ala chitarra, and truffle burrata. The seasonal cocktail menu has a selection of original drinks, as well as new takes on familiar classics, like the Finally Old Fashioned, which has Teeling Whisky, amaro, demerara, angostura, and orange bitters. Villa Azur’s eponymous cocktail combines bubbly Perrier Jouët Grand Brut, pisco, lime, strawberry, egg white, simple syrup, and star anise. After 10:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, Villa Azur dives fully into nightclub mode, embracing a “flirty vibe” according to the restaurant’s website. Dinner will continue to be served until midnight for those who prefer to dance the night away with a full stomach." - Polly Anna Rocha
