Villa Lattanzi

We stayed two nights at Villa Lattanzi, paying a five-star rate and hoping for five-star service. Here is what we found.||Arrival||The receptionist’s first words: “You cannot park there.”|No “Buongiorno,” no smile, no offer to lift a suitcase, no “How was your trip?” A warmer hello would have set a better tone.||Room||No balcony, only windows.||Motorway lullaby: open the window and enjoy a free truck concert all night.||Décor looks fine, but nothing special for the price.||Jacuzzi: water looked cloudy—spa time cancelled.||Dinner||Waiters were kind.||Dining room vibe: as cosy as a school classroom.||Flavour on holiday: dishes were so shy I glanced under the plate to see if taste was hiding there. ||With all the house wine, olive oil and jewellery on display, I half-expected a “Buy Now” sticker on the breadbasket.||Facilities||Fitness room: about the size of a walk-in closet, and the massage table sits right inside it. When someone books a massage, the “gym” is closed—so your workout depends on another guest’s back muscles. ||“Who are you?” moment||Only a handful of guests in the whole villa, yet when my partner stepped out for a smoke, staff asked, “Who are you?” Remembering three faces seems easier than a Sudoku puzzle.||View||Step outside, look past the motorway, and the Adriatic Sea is beautiful. ||Bottom line||Villa Lattanzi charges for luxury but delivers much less. If you enjoy loud lorries, quiet flavours, surprise gym closures and a guessing game at the front door, you may feel right at home. Everyone else might keep driving—slowly—so you can still admire that lovely sea view.||

My experience with this hotel was absolutely terrible. The wedding planner, Giulia, failed in every aspect. Initially, she was friendly and nice, but in the end, she became extremely rude, and that's putting it mildly. The hotel provides extremely poor service and falls far short of being a luxury hotel as advertised. I have visited many hotels on every continent, but none has been as bad as this one. Here are a few things that went wrong: The service at the hotel and on our wedding day was catastrophic. Expired drinks were served, some of which were nearly 2 years past their expiration date, and yet we were charged 8 euros for a beer, for example. The staff was so overwhelmed that guests were insulted because apparently no one could handle the situation. Even the chef insulted my wife in Italian—what a disgrace. The food was absolutely abysmal, and i can’t understand how this restaurant made it into the Michelin Guide. The list of issues is much longer. The worst part was that Giulia, the so-called event manager, clearly had no idea what she was doing. It was a total failure and extremely embarrassing in front of all our guests. She planned for only 3 staff members for more than 80 guests. Everything was late, cold, and of poor quality. After the event, she simply disappeared and blocked us. This is the most outrageous hotel I have ever been to. I strongly advise against staying here or having a wedding celebration. We were offered a 5-star hotel with corresponding service, which we paid for accordingly. We had booked the entire hotel for several days. However, what we received was a nightmare and a major disappointment. Over 80 guests attended the wedding, and most of them stayed at the hotel. All the guests share the same opinion. This is a disgrace for the hotel and tarnishes the image of Italian hotels abroad. I warn everyone against this hotel!

definitely not recommend this hotel for organizing your events. nothing but good location. probably the owner doesn’t understand the importance of someone’s big day. they had 3 or 4 waiters for 90(!!!) people on the wedding! the administrator of the wedding Guilia kept saying that she is not responsible for any issues that had been appeared. in the middle of the day the rain had started and because of the staff shortage the guests from the wedding should move the tables and chairs by themselves under the rain. for the staff it’s another work day but for the married couple it’s pretty stressful and exciting day. so instead of being a professional the administrator guilia was mean and rude and of course “not responsible for anything” again.|probably the staff decided that they deserve good tips and manage to get it by themselves because 2 envelopes with money from the gift box for the couple magically disappeared.|if you are considering this hotel as a place for the special occasion, think twice. or think once and choose another hotel.|and the beach beds there are not comfortable.

We did not like the area we were heading in and decided to look for another hotel. Up came Villa Lattanzi. What an amazing place. Lots of grounds to walk around and near the beaches (although when we were there in April the weather was not warm enough for the beach). The rooms are spotlessly clean as is the whole hotel. The entrance as you drive up is lovely as shown on their website. There is a bar where our dog was welcome to sit with us. The food in the restaurant was excellent and with an "open kitchen" was nice to watch the professional Chefs at work. All Management are friendly and efficient but we have to give a big mention to Olga who manages reception but also works in the restaurant. She is an absolute asset to the hotel and her personality says it all. She obviously very much enjoys her job and it shows. Thank you Olga for making our great stay at Villa Lattanzi even greater. One day in the future we will definitely return. I could go on and on, but think I have said enough!!

It is a very disappointing place. The staff is unattentive and walks around in jogging pants. I attended a friend's wedding which should and could have been an amazing day. The management and staff did not manage to live up to our expectations. Also, reading the other reviews, they seem to pay people to leave fake positive reviews here. Beware!

Clean, silent and large bed room with beautiful panorama on both the side (sea and hill). The room has been clean and refurbished every day. The check in was easy and the check up was perfect: no problem with the bill. All the people was very professional and ready to help and support any request. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant was so good that we had the dinner three times out of five.

We stayed at Villa Lattanzi for two nights. Our friends got married there. The wedding was beautiful and the place is perfect for weddings. The whole wedding was outside in the garden, in front of the villa. The food was really delicious. ||The hotel room was beautiful, clean and luxurious. We had a really pretty partial ocean view from the room. The breakfast was ok but many times something was missing from the buffet. Maybe the staff was not used to fully booked hotel.||There was a nice forest hill with walking trails behind the villa. Also the garden was wonderful in front of the villa.||There was a little spa but we didn't try it. ||Only thing we were missed was a pool and sun chairs. ||||

we were very, very dissapointed with an overpriced hotel, providing small rooms and basically no service. the staff was rude, the food was not even close to our expectations. the stories we could tell are endless: chefs were biting into the food in front of our eyes, the hotel tried to charge us for food and drinks we have never ordered, staff was secretely taking pictures of guests. we will never come back to this place.
