We reserved for a party of 15 for my birthday, and it was such a successful and memorable experience. The Village of Om truly gave us a taste of Asia with every course. I highly recommend trying their five-course meal offering to fully experience the uniqueness that Andy creates alongside his incredible team. Everything they present is intentional, beautifully crafted, and filled with care. If you have not yet experienced vegan sushi, this is the perfect place to start. The flavors, presentation, and atmosphere are unmatched. I look forward to returning.

Absolutely delicious! It’s insane how good everything is. Vegan sushi that has been actually thought of and not just thrown on a menu. The atmosphere is super relaxing and our server Ginny was friendly and thoughtful and gave us great recommendations. This is our new favorite place! I can’t stress how incredible this Village of OM is and how good it feels to have thoughtful vegan dishes! Great date night spot!

Google
Andy was a great bartender, gave great recommendations, and delivered amazing service. We came here accidentally when we saw a sign that read plant sushi, and even though we already ate, we decided to share a roll and check it out. We tried the seared eggplant nigiri and it blew our expectations; I highly recommend. The mezcal mule was tasty and well crafted and it had a very nice presentation with smoke and all, an entire little show. This is a cute date spot for sure but they also have a bar area if you want something more relaxed or just having dinner alone.

This restaurant is unexpected. From the outside, it is difficult to tell there is a restaurant inside. Even after stepping inside, you don’t have a full view of the dining space, which was a pleasant surprise. The dim lighting and olive tree create a nice ambiance. Moving onto the food, my dining partner and I shared the okra and oyster mushroom starters and then finished with the eggplant main. All three had distinct flavors and were tasty. Our one complaint is that the passion fruit drinks that were supposed to have spiced rum in them did not appear to have any rum in them. The waitress insisted they did, but we were not convinced.

I absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk in, the beautiful and clean environment creates such a welcoming vibe. My first visit was a little over a week ago, and the experience was so good that I found myself reminiscing and daydreaming about coming back—and I finally did yesterday! As a Vegan, I’m thrilled to have found a spot like this. The food is soooo delicious that this place is officially my go-to. Trust me, you have to stop in and give it a try! The service is equally amazing. I’ve had OC as my server both times, and he’s fantastic—attentive, friendly, and professional. It’s also refreshing to see the teamwork among the staff; everyone seems to help each other out, which is a great dynamic. The owner is wonderful as well. He personally checks in to ensure everything is up to your expectations, and during my last visit, he even gave me something to try as a kind gesture since my food took a bit longer. Overall, this place has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for incredible food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it!

Google
A Hidden Gem Worth Visiting: Village of Om I've been to Village of Om twice in the past two weeks, and I can’t recommend it enough. Though I’m not vegan or vegetarian, the food has completely won me over. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted with perfectly balanced flavors that are both satisfying and delicious. The service here is truly exceptional. The staff, including the owner, frequently check in to ensure everything meets your expectations. On one occasion, a dish came out slightly late (we hadn’t even noticed), and they generously added extra food to make up for it—a clear testament to their commitment to diner satisfaction. The bar staff is equally impressive, offering creative signature cocktails while nailing the classics. They genuinely care about enhancing your dining experience and go above and beyond to make sure your meal is perfect. Village of Om is a must-try for anyone, whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or simply a lover of great food and outstanding hospitality. Don’t sleep on this place—it’s a true gem!

Google
It was my first time here and it was beyond my expectations. The food, ambiance and customer service was very good. I don’t even like mushrooms but OMG I ordered the portobello fries and it was so good. Couldn’t even tell it was as mushroom. I also ordered Burmese salad and Oahu salmon roll and it was really good as well. Highly recommend this place :)

Yelp
Village of OM is great! A+ for ambiance and drinks. Our favorite dish was The Village: it was the standout because of the smoking technique the chef used. Overall, the food was a B. The trumpet ceviche was basically guacamole with a tiny amount of mushroom. The mapo eggplant was very sweet. Service was a B. The chef comped us a dessert which was a classy move!

Yelp
Everything about this place is carefully designed to deliver a fantastic experience. The ambiance is classy, the food is presented beautifully, even the bathrooms are clean & smell good. The staff here is spectacular, the second time I visited was on a Saturday night (when restaurants are most busy) but I still never had to wait more than a couple minutes before someone checked on us. Most importantly, everything I have tried has been delicious. I've taken two non-vegan friends here, and they both agree. Fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, just fantastic. The two standout menu items are the sorbet and the fried rice main course, but of course the sushi also delivered. While expensive, it's not unreasonably so. I feel like I got my money's worth. Rolls range from 7$ for the simple ones to 22$ for the most expensive specialty ones. If you are looking to impress someone, perhaps a date or a business client, this would be perfect.

Yelp
Thai place is sexy! Perfect place for a date night or girls night out. It's classy. The food was delicious and the server had great recommendations. This place is great. My only recommendation is a better sign out front. If you blink you may miss it

Yelp
The food what 100% on point. The standouts were the Portobello Fries and The Village Roll. The fries were perfectly battered and cooked to crispy perfection. The Village roll had the perfect combination of smokiness/umami flavors. I don't usually like okra but the fried okra in the Village roll was perfect and added a crunchy texture. The restaurant is chic and modern. What needs to be worked on is the service. We ordered 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 rolls all at the same time. Our drinks didn't come out until after the rolls, when we were almost done with dinner and only after I mentioned it twice to the server. Staff was polite but detached and not very engaging. The food was very innovative and delicious. I know it's a newer restaurant that is probably still finding it's rhythm so I'm giving it 5 stars, despite the service.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner at Village of OM. He'd never tried vegan food before and he's definitely not an adventurous eater, but he still gave it a chance. After we left, he said he'd absolutely come back. The food was delicious, and the customer service was phenomenal. His favorites were the Up Beet and Village rolls. I love mushrooms so I enjoyed the portobello fries and the Korean Bulgogi. I highly recommend trying any of these delicious dishes.

Yelp
This place was amazing! We were inspired to go here to celebrate my friend's birthday who's vegan, but I'm not vegan and I loved it. Everything we got was good. Definitely don't skip the sushi. The table's favorite was the village roll. The presentation was so cool but it was also super delicious. Our second favorite was the oishi salmon roll. The restaurant is beautiful too and would be great for a date night. The service was really friendly and they gave us a complimentary dessert for her birthday too. Highly recommend! It was so fun.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and trendy vibe as the outside looks pretty small and nondescript. We ordered the salt & pepper tofu, Burmese leaf salad, upbeat roll, and avocado cucumber roll. We were disappointed with the tofu as it lacked salt and the lemongrass flavor was a bit overpowering. The salad was good, but not a traditional tea leaf salad. The upbeat roll is nicely constructed and the tempura fried jalapeño adds a nice crunch. The menu indicates it's spicy but it isn't spicy at all. The avocado cucumber roll was solid as well. We also tried the Thai tea, which was delicious but a bit on the heavy side due to the amount of coconut cream. Overall, it was a decent meal that filled us up but nothing was stand out and the price of the meal was more than I would expect. Not sure if we would return for these reasons. Lastly, there was only one server helping everybody during the lunch period. He was pleasant and attentive but service was a bit slow since he was flying solo.

Yelp
Not the easiest place to find as part of an apartment complex building, there is just a sign on the door with the name! You would never know that from the outside, there is a calming, zen-like interior. The first room has a full bar and tables and the dining area has table seating, calm lighting and spa music. My vegetarian friend wanted to try this out and especially sample their vegan sushi. She had the salmon-looking nigiri and I tried one as well. Okay, I get this is vegan sushi (which is an oxymoron btw), but I just can't compare this to the real deal. I love sushi and while I know this is not a substitute for raw fish, my brain couldn't disassociate the two. My friend really liked this one, but then again, she has never had sushi before LOL. We also got the tempura friend okra ($16) which was crunchy and not slimy in the least. It was accompanied by a Thai Tom Yum sauce. OMG so good! I could have eaten more of those. I got the mapo tofu charred eggplant ($24) and brown rice. Very delicious! At first the eggplant seemed too large to consume, but eggplant a vegetable that can be easily in large volumes, the serving was just right. The menu looked fascinating however I was really wanting something with protein and the eggplant dish seemed like the only choice. We waited ages for the side of yakisoba garlic noodles ($12), unfortunately it came out after we had already eaten. Service was fine, not especially memorable but not aloof either. I may come back to try other foods when I'm off my high protein diet!

Yelp
I am obsessed with this place. The rolls are excellent! My faves are the Up Beet and Ziggy of Om. Also tried the Panko Trumpet Bahn Mi. It was like a party in my mouth with every bite. So tasty! Highly recommend. Love the zen vibe and always pleasant service. I hope more people support this gem bc it's a cool restaurant with creative vegan cuisine that focuses on using things like mushrooms and veggies versus fake processed meats. The space is perfect for a romantic date night, a special occasion and a casual lunch. Don't wait go now. After writing this review I am ordering take out for dinner bc I am not craving it! And I'll get something for lunch tomorrow too. Meal prep - solved!

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation from a friend and we were just blown away w the unique and delicious flavors from everything we ordered! Super filling and just fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Was recommended this place by my vegan friends and it was absolutely AMAZING! From the outside, it looks very simple but nice you walk in, you're immediately taken into a very aesthetic eatery. When you walk in, you won't see any tables or chairs which has me curious about it, but once the server takes you to the dining area, you'll immediately be in awe. The decor and layout was truly very relaxing and clean. We ordered the Szechuan tofu appetizer, lion mane char siu fried rice, and Tamago nigiri. All were absolutely DELICIOUS but that Tamago nigiri for how simple and basic it was... I took one bite and immediately already knew it was the best Tamago nigiri I've ever had. I'm already planning to go back so order the 5 piece Tamago nigiri instead of the 2 piece!

Yelp
One of my friends recommend this place. The inside has dim lighting that sets an elevated dining type of mood. The service is good, with attentive servers who explain the menu well and check in on you at good intervals. Recommend making a reservation bc this place gets crowded! I got the ziggy of OM and oshi salmon roll, which I think were both really good vegetarian rolls. I felt the "salmon" texture and taste was very similar to real salmon. I also got one of the N.A. drinks, which was also very yummy! Overall a very good dining experience!

Yelp
Village of OM is new to Midtown and they specialize in Asian fusion, vegan food and drinks. I discovered Village of OM while walking around the neighborhood, and it looks quite unassuming from the outside. However, once you walk in and turn the corner, there's a spacious dining room with low lighting that makes it feel quite intimate. Service was patient and attentive and recommended that we order family style to get a taste for everything. My friend and I opted for our own plates since we were dining in for a late lunch; however, I'd highly recommend the family style option if you have an appetite. The Buddah belly soba noodle salad was well mixed, but I found it to be a little heavy handed on the red onion. My friend loved the Mom's Curry and said it had a nice kick from the spice. We both left satisfied and spontaneously found ourselves touring the apartments for rent next door. Above Village of OM, there are six brand new apartments that just came to market. They were beautiful inside, but don't have designated parking. Pro tip: keep your eye out for the rooftop vegan sushi bar coming soon that will be open to the public!

Yelp
Whether you're looking for vegan food or you're an omnivore looking to try something new and delicious, Village of OM is an amazing spot. This location gives all the romantic date night vibes, while still being a chill place to meet friends or have a business meal. There's a bar area as well as a seated dining room and it's decorated beautifully. The staff here is very friendly and attentive and are happy to talk you through the menu and make suggestions. Although, I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. I stopped in for dinner with a colleague and we ordered the Portobello fries ($14), Nigiri Sampler ($14), The Village ($19.5), and Pad Thai ($18). Everything is vegan and made with fresh ingredients. The Village Roll came out with a show, there was a dish over it with smoke inside. Very fun and it was a very good roll. I love that it had okra! The nigiri sampler had five different pieces and while they were all veggie based they tasted just like fresh fish sushi- from the texture to the flavor. The sauces and cookie method they use make each piece so flavorful. The portobello fries were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, flavorful, and came with a delicious dipping sauce. The Pad Thai was also very flavorful and satisfying. We shared these dishes along with a drink for each of us and ended up taking home leftovers. The thing I love about these dishes is that they're not trying to be meat dishes, they embrace the fresh vegan ingredients and make them into their own delicious experience. This is definitely a treat for vegan diners as well as people who love flavorful and delicious foods of all kinds.

Yelp
Such delicious vegan dishes! I am not vegan, but I have close friends and family who are, so I am always looking for great vegan food. Village of OM is amazing food, that happens to be vegan! Everything tasted so fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Their staff is very friendly and intentional. They were very helpful with the menu and offered us insight when picking out food. The food also came out very quickly! Inside is clean, smells of incense, lofi type music, low lighting, and very romantic. A great date night spot.

Yelp
So we made our bi-weekly trip to Buddha Belly and were told to stop by Village of OM for a complimentary dessert. No need to repark - Village of OM is 1\2 block away, closer to the train tracks. Andy greeted us and set us up with an açaí sorbet with a coconut creme drizzle. The açaí sorbet is smooth - the coconut creme is luscious. Together, this was a refreshing and light dessert without being overly sweet. We were fortunate to meet the head chef, Nick. Since we already had our Buddha-bellies full, he suggested on our next visit to give the Up Beet Roll a try. And to help us remember the experience, he made us a Seared Eggplant. Since I haven't eaten Unagi in about 30 years, this was a great treat. It's prepared to bring back those memories and it did not disappoint. Has the same texture and savory sauce that I remember. I didn't walk the space, but from where I was sitting at the bar, Village of OM is beautifully simple. We'll be back and be back soon for that Up Beet Roll.

Yelp
I love when the food tastes just as amazing as it looks. Definitely one of the prettiest meals I've ever had! We had drinks, the portobello fries with sriracha mayo, The Village roll (it came out with smoke, so cool!), pad thai, eggplant and lions mane nigiri, and açaí sorbet with tapioca coconut cream, delicious! The restaurant is beautiful, classy and romantic. And the service was also great!

Yelp
We've been to Village of Om once, ordering MaPo Eggplant, Lion's Mane Fried Rice, and a creative gin, cucumber, mint cocktail. The Fried Rice was good, the Eggplant, cocktail, and atmosphere were very good, and the service was stellar. The server was knowledgeable, professional, responsive (without being overbearing), and made us feel welcome. There was no surprise fees added to the bill. We look forward to trying out more of VoO's menu in the future.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I realllllly wanted to like this place. I was vegan for 5+ years and vegan sushi is one of my favorite things to eat! Food: 2/5 Ambience and environment: 4/5 Service: 3/5 (served everything too fast and at the same time and then we waited 20+ minutes to get the bill) Prices: 1/5 First we started with a few appetizers. We got the portobello fries and the salt and pepper tofu along with the lions mane and eggplant nigiri. These were the best things we ate. The sushi rolls we tried were the village and the ziggy of OM. While presentation was great and it looked appetizing, the flavors were terrible. I actually almost spit out the ziggy roll. It had no texture and the taste was really bad. Considering what they charge, $16 per appetizer and $20 per roll and what you actually get flavor wise, I would not recommend this vegan sushi spot. Shizen in SF is where you need to go for delicious vegan sushi and fair prices!

Dan F.

Yelp
Sushi is almost by definition not vegan, but Village of Om somehow manages to carry it off. Cozy atmosphere that's a little surprising in this pretty nondescript concrete building. Service is super pleasant and caring if sometimes a tad slow or forgetful. I've been there a couple of times with non-vegans, and they were just as impressed as I was.

Yelp
What a lovely new addition to midtown from the next generation of Ngyuens. Chef & owner Andy is so generous & hospitable. Im not a vegan-- but the food was delicious. The upbeet roll & bahn ni & noodle salad were my favorites this visit. Cant wait to come back & sit up on balcony

Yelp
I'm a few weeks behind on writing this review, but the dining experience is still fresh in my mind. I once again participated in Bridget W.'s next "Eat Your Veggies!" UYE. https://www.yelp.com/events/sacramento-uye-eat-your-veggies-village-of-om?ytl_=05e0de3f37c14b858a82b9a2b105e894&utm_medium=email&utm_source=email_event_reminder&utm_campaign=Jan-22-2025 We arrived at this very nice, modern and romantic feel of a restaurant that specializes in plant based cuisine. The menu offers an appetizing variety of vegan style sushi dishes, salads, soups, noodles, tofu, and other veggie items. My Yelp dining companions included Bridget W., David O., Jenny P. and Alex T. We all had a hard time making our final ordering decisions from the tempting menu. I ordered the Nigiri Sampler: Seared Eggplant, Sautéed Trumpet Mushroom, Just Tamago, Lions Mane Mushroom, and Roasted Red Pepper (1 pc each). However, they were already out of the Lions Mane Mushroom, so I selected another Eggplant to replace it. It was very good, but after consuming it within a few minutes, I realized I was still hungry! Silly me for not ordering something else to go with it! Fortunately, my friends let me share their Burmese Chopped Salad. Which consisted of: Tea Leaf Salad w/ Lettuce, Cabbage, Tomatoes, Jalapenos, Chickpeas, Split Peas, Pumpkin Seeds, and Fermented Tea Leaves w/Pesto Dressing. The salad needed a little more dressing, as we commented to the wait staff that it was a little dry. But I was Ok with it, since I was so hungry! LOL! I also ordered a Mocktail My Tai with Pineapple, orange juice and grenadine. It was very tasty! Everyone enjoyed their food. The nice wait staff even gave us a couple of complimentary chocolate mousse desserts to share! It was a nice finale to our meals! We have already talked about returning again to try other menu selections.

Yelp
Sacramento needed this! Atmosphere, cool vibe, menu and cocktails. First time here and it was packed (reservations and walk-ins) so we took a spot at the bar. Tried the sushi, cocktails and a salad. I'm glad to see that this place was doing great!

Yelp
Most definitely an experience! Village of Om is a plant-based kitchen that truly impressed me. The food was flavorful and creative, making it a great spot for both plant-based eaters and those just looking to try something new. Service was okay--our main server barely checked in, but a very helpful gentleman on staff made up for it by explaining the menu and giving us great recommendations. My friend and I originally wanted the Portobello Fries, but they were out. Instead, the staff suggested the Village Spicy Fried Blue Oysters, and wow--I was shook! They were incredible. I ordered the Nigiri Sampler, which I'd rate a solid 4/5, and my friend had the Buddha Belly Pho. The broth was unbelievably close to traditional beef pho, yet completely plant-based. Super impressive! The drinks were just okay--definitely more aesthetically pleasing than flavorful. But overall, I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Food was phenomenal, we've been here three times in 15 days for back to back celebrations and every time there were no disappointments. Our favorite is the village roll and the portobello fires!!! The service was incredible all of the staff were accommodating and professional. The aromas from the kitchen is sensational and the specialized Om Fashioned seems to be a hit because the smell of the smoky cups grace the air!

Yelp

Yelp
Great new restaurant. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was gorgeous. Really good service. We started with the Burmese Chopped Salad. The fermented tea leaves really made this dish. We also had the Smokey Vale Roll and the Up Beet Roll. Both were so good and the Up Beet Roll was just the right spicy deliciousness. Topped everything off with Acai Tapioca Coconut on the house.

Yelp
What a great new addition to the vegan food scene. The restaurant was spacious with a moody ambiance. Seating for solo diners and large groups which is nice. We tried a lot of items and everything was yummy. The plates were all beautiful and well thought out. I love that there is still so much left to try and we will be back soon for more! Check them out!

Yelp
A new favorite spot in Midtown Sacramento! Village of OM has a very elegant charming ambience throughout. The staff is very friendly and will help you select dishes if you need. We ordered the Nigiri sampler that arrived with 5 different sushis and tasted well but we absolutely loved the Up Beet Roll. So tasty we could have had another round! They knew vegan sushi well. Ordered the mixed fried rice for main course and it was scrumptious. The quantity was quite some too! We were good with 1 serving of main course. As for drinks, we ordered the Zen whiskey which was strong and smooth, and an another one (can't remember the name) which was ok. They have a dessert (not listed on the menu) - an açai sorbet with coconut cream. While the sorbet was ok, I would totally order it again just for that amazing cream. Everything seemed to be reasonably priced for the food & ambience they served, perfect for date nights!

Yelp
It I could add more than 5 starts I would This place is a must go to spot in Sac even if you are not vegan you will not be disappointed Incredible

Yelp
Wow! Loved this place! Friendly service, very calm and relaxing ambiance, and great tasting food. Tried their Up Beet roll, Burmese tea salad, salt & pepper fried tofu, and the spicy fried blue oysters. Everything was delicious, with the veggie sushi roll being the stand out dish for me. Will definitely go back to try some of their other sushi rolls and entrees. Oh, almost forgot to mention that their cocktails were top notch as well.
google avatar

Riya B.

Yelp
Every single dish we ordered: the tea leaf salad, ceviche, ma po eggplant, smoked valley roll, and seared eggplant roll was fantastic. One of the best sushi places I've tried (and I'm not even vegan)! One of my favorite dishes was the smoked valley roll, they used a vegan cream cheese that was absolutely delicious
google avatar

Debbie A.

Yelp
Truth be told, I'm no vegan--but Village of Om really does food so well that if you're carnivore, you really don't miss it. We originally came because we love Buddha Belly and the same owners were starting this restaurant. Neither restaurant disappoints. However, if you're looking for ambiance and presentation, Village of Om does the trick. The Village sushi option is epic (please view the video)! The smoke actually gives the sushi a Smokey flavor--and the presentation is masterful! Another dish that we crave is the Mapo Eggplant. It's a delectable combination of mushrooms, tofu and eggplant with a killer sauce that makes you want to lick the plate clean. We have been there twice now and can't seem to get away from these two dishes. This place is great for a date night, but I would recommend going with a party of 6 and ordering 6 dishes to share.

Yelp
The food, service and ambience here were great! A welcome addition to the Sacramento vegan scene. The vibe is elegant, service was friendly and attentive. Large, comfortable room. Nice music, good lighting. Dishes served family style to share. We ordered the Burmese Chopped Salad which featured a dressing made from fermented green tea leaves that was spicy and lemony. Party in the mouth! Lots of fresh veggies and crispy chickpeas. We also had the Ziggy of Om roll - just the right blend of creamy and crisp. Mmmm! The deep fried mushroom starter had a great sauce. Can't wait to try some of the other dishes, but I may have to have that salad every time.

Yelp
This place is an absolute gem! I went twice in less than a week and I don't even live in Sacramento. Here's my full breakdown. Highlights: Great food, ambiance and Service. Gluten Free friendly. Looking forward to: *Liquor License coming soon* Favorite item: The Up Beat Roll (I could eat that 7 days a week) Starters: - Village Spicy Fried Blue Oyster Mushroom - Perfection! crispy yummy - Szewchuan Salt & Pepper Tofu w/Onions - A little greasy but good flavor Rolls: - Zen Garden Roll - Strong Japanese flavors, very traditional not everyone's cup of tea - Up Beat Roll - Crowd favorite! Everyone loved this one! - The Village - Super fun smoked roll, presentation is super cool - Ziggy of Om - Delicious, second favorite to the Up Beat Roll Mains: - Yellow Curry Potatoes with Veggie - Good but could use a bit more salt. Nice mild flavor - Trumpet Shitake Bulgogi Iron Skillet - WOW, very yummy. Bold flavor on the salty side but we all loved this one.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday 8:15pm in their 2nd week after opening. Super excited for a new vegan spot.. The food and service were an excellent! My waiter recommended the UpBeet roll, over the Zen Garden Roll, which I was happy with. I ordered the sauces on the side, just in case, but that wasn't necessary. I ordered daikon & Kimchi for $6, which was a good portion size. The main entree was the eggplant/tofu w/ black bean sauce. This was slightly spicy and a little salty, but delicious with rice, and nice presentation. There is no "up-charge" for brown rice. I will come back for lunch and try the tea leaf salad during the day (since it does have caffeine). Side note - the volume is a bit loud inside, so hopefully they can sound proof it. Highly recommend this spot for a nice dinner as a couple or in a group.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance. The sushi was so fresh and flavorful. We had the rainbow roll, village roll, oshi salmon roll, and the eggplant mapo tofu. All were delicious but our favorite was the rainbow roll and oshi salmon roll. For dessert we had the açaí sorbet with coconut cream. It was very refreshing and a great way to end the meal. Will be back.

Yelp
HOLY SH** the BEST vegan restaurant in Sacramento! Service was absolutely amazing and these dishes were so beautifully made. I can't even describe how great our dishes tasted they were so good. 10000% recommend and bring your non vegan friends because their minds are gonna be blown.

Yelp
This was our second time here and it's an amazing spot. The food is fantastic. This time around we had the Szechuan Salt & Pepper Tofu, Portobello Mushroom Fries, Up Beet Roll, Village Roll, and Lion's Mane. They were all ever delicious. I especially liked the Tofu and the Up Beet Roll. Never thought eating plant based dishes could be this healthy and this delicious. The service was great. Two different servers attended to us and they came by very often to ensure we were pleased with our meals. The vibe was very calm and the music was fitting with the environment and lighting. It's a great place for date night. The evening ended with açaí sorbet dessert which was very tasty and sweet. We plan to come again very soon and try all the other items and can't wait to do so. See you again, soon!

Yelp
Delicious! So excited for high quality vegan sushi in the Sacramento area. We ordered takeout and enjoyed two different rolls, two types of sashimi, the fried rice and the garlic noodles. It was all phenomenal. Can't wait to dine in for date night!

Yelp
Lovely for a date. Upscale with a fun, mushroom-heavy menu of vegan Japanese food and a separate listing of vegan sushi. The creative drink list includes mocktails (I love the passion fruit bubbly). There's a more casual, order-at-the-counter vegan place next door, so this is a great destination where you and your companions can check out the menu and easily go somewhere else if it's not a good fit. The tea leaf salad is worth trying if you've never had Burmese food. The menu feels pricy in that I haven't adjusted to the new normal of this economic crisis.

Yelp
Checked this new restaurant out on their opening weekend and it was amazing! The food was absolutely fantastic! Having vegan sushi options anywhere is always a plus and I'm so excited. There are a few vegetarian items, but they said it was no problem to make them vegan so basically you have the whole menu for vegan options. Had the charred eggplant, tea leaf salad, Ziggy of om roll, upbeet roll, and the nigiri sampler - all were superb but the upbeet was probably one of the favs of the night. Don't miss out on this!

Yelp
Wow just wow! Delicious food, nice ambience and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered way too much food for 3 people because it was so hard to narrow down what to order. Between the 3 of us, we split both of the mushroom appetizers, the tempura okra, the vegan fried rice and the beet sushi roll. The portobello fries and the sushi roll. My daughter absolutely loved the vegan rice. We can't wait to go back & try the rest of the items on the men

Yelp
Jenny was lovely! The ambiance of the restaurant was immaculate, spacious, and beautiful. We tried the Lion's Mane, and the Sautéed Trumpet Nigiri - both were awesome!! Jenny was incredibly thoughtful, patient, and really easy to talk to. They told us that there will be a great rooftop spot soon and to stay tuned. We DEFINITELY will be coming back! Do yourself a favor stop here for dinner, drinks, dessert, or a snack!

Yelp
Great food, great service, great ambiance! I don't know what could be improved! Our favorites were the tempura trumpet mushrooms and spicy beet roll. So good we did an additional take out order for later in the week!

Yelp
If you like bold flavors and a variety of mushroom then this is the place for you. Sacramento needs more upscale vegan places to eat. We came here after an afternoon show downtown and it was empty. They are still in a soft opening mode and we could hear the ping of online delivery orders coming in as we were eating. Others came in to dine before we left. Our server was attentive and happy to recommend items and answer questions. The Burmese tea leaf salad is a special item that I've only eaten once before as it's uncommon. The toss the salad table side after squeezing lemon on it. It was quite spicy but fresh and crunchy. a special treat for sure. The Eggplant with tofu was yummy but if it was the only entree I would have left hungry but as it is a whole roasted eggplant that might depend on the size of the eggplant. If you are looking for bold flavors the bulgogi is for you. We were warned that it was spicy and it was but more than hot spicy but complex flavors with lots of ginger and it came with pickled radish and kimchi that you could tell was fresh and made in house. You can order brown or white rice it you'd like. Next time we will have to try the soups and sushi. It's a special occasion place for us but nice to have choices and a good addition to the Sacramento dining scene.

Yelp
I had planned to write a review much sooner. Nonetheless, my husband, daughter and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at OM on Valentine's Day. The flavors are unique and wonderful and the presentation is beautiful. The service is excellent as well. The interior of the restaurant is lovely, calm and inviting. We plan to return. Well done!
