Probably the WORST slice of pizza I’ve have the displeasure of eating 😕 I was excited to give the place a shot. New York style pizza, what could go wrong? The building was packed when I first walked in, and they have lots of different sized booths for those who want to sit and stay. All great signs to start off with! Except, they ran out of single slices two people in front of me and started only offering whole pies with a 45-minute wait. 45 minutes isn’t THAT long, so I decided to go for it and order a pie. Tell me why I waited over an HOUR for the most crusty, dusty, and burnt piece of garbage I have ever set on my tongue? While the sweet tomato sauce, melty cheese, and crisp pepperoni were a wonderful delight, they did not make up for the sandpaper crust that basically ravaged war in my mouth. I could feel my teeth growing sharper with each bite as if I had my own personal whetstone. Comparing this pizza to wood chips would be an insult to trees. Not to mention that the owner (I can only assume) had a fit when someone asked for their receipt. He said, and I quote: “Why would you ask for a receipt when we’re this busy?” If you’re going to have poor customer service, at LEAST have the food quality to make up for it 🙄 I hope my stomach stops gurgling by dinner time…

Google
This place is great. If I want a New York style slice this is the new place for me. The pizza is wonderful. I love the crunch of the underside of the pizza. Such great texture. My only critique is that you can’t see all the pizzas they have ready to choose from like you can at other places that sell by the slice. I also would prefer a self serve fountain drink instead of a bottle. Insanely affordable. I hope it can stay that way.

Google
Villaggio absolutely nails the New York style pizza, but there's still room for improvement. I lived on Long Island for 32 years so I know NY pizza and this is definitely the closest to a true NY slice that I've had here. That's the most important thing which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. I was blown away by how close it was. The slices are huge too which made it even better. There's no question in my mind that this place will expand so I have some notes for expansion to make it a true NY style experience. First, NY pizzerias have more than just 5 or so different types of pizza available by the slice. All NY pizza places have a huge glass case full of pizza that you walk past as you are ordering so you can visually see all the different pies and point out what you would like. Really would have loved to try a buffalo chicken slice, but options were limited. Would love to see the next place offer more pizza by the slice. Second, service was pretty slow. It shouldn't take that long to heat up two slices of pizza. This also caused some issues as it is a tiny restaurant so all the tables were full with many people waiting for pizza. I hope this place does expand because they need to be bigger. There is so much potential here and honestly I loved it so much I wish I could be involved in the operation and help give it more of a true NY makeover. Anyways kudos from a NY native and I'm glad to help offer any advice if you do expand!

Google
The people were SO friendly, it always makes it a better experience for me when I go in to a place and they are so kind and outgoing. Loved the vibes there! I wasn’t super wowed with the pizza. It was good, and I did think the thin crust was great, but nothing special. Honey pepperoni is always a solid flavor, got that on the thick crust. I don’t see myself going out of my way to come again unless I was really craving a single slice, overall some good pizza at a place with a great vibe

Google
I was really excited to try this place after it received high marks from El Pres, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t the same. They were pretty busy and were out of slices so we ordered a large pepperoni. They did tell us it would be about 45 minutes. Which we decided to wait because we were excited to try it. Unfortunately the pizza came out super over cooked. I’d like to say that maybe we caught them on a bad day, because they were pretty busy. However, quality shouldn’t be sacrificed, but focused on more when you get busy. People will be waiting regardless, so get them something that will make them feel it was worth it.

Google
I recently visited Villaggio Pizzeria and ordered the Bianca pizza — and I can confidently say it was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. From the first bite, the crust was perfectly crisp on the outside yet airy and soft inside. The balance of creamy ricotta, fresh mozzarella, and the drizzle of olive oil was absolute perfection — simple ingredients, but bursting with flavor. Every bite felt like a little trip to Italy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. If you’re anywhere near Villaggio Pizzeria, do yourself a favor and try the Bianca. You’ll understand exactly why I can’t stop thinking about it.

Google
I just waited an hour for maybe the worst slice of pizza I’ve ever had. The whole thing was a burnt cracker. Go to Este or Maxwells East Coast Eatery, cause this is not IT. As an ex-New Yorker, super disappointed after the hype. Stop doing pies and focus on slices when you’re busy, no one enjoys 1 hr wait times.

Adam Lesniak

Google
Overall, I'd give it a 3.5-4 stars. I got the San Gennaro and the pizza was good with the ingredients seeming fresh. While the pizza was good, nothing really stood out with the flavors or crust. Maybe it's because it was hyped up so much, but it really wasn't that special to me. Overall- good, but not great.

Yelp
This place isn't huge so if you're a big party, take it to go. But omg it's worth it. This place is easily one of my favorite pizza places in Utah for New York style. Staff works fast. The sauce on the pizza = AMAZING. Also tried the eggplant parm and it was delicious. If you're a pizza fan, Villagio's is a must.
google avatar

Jack S.

Yelp
The best place about this place is the best crust in possibly all of Utah! Cooked to perfection and just the perfect amount of crisp! Cheese pizza was nothing to write home about in the sauce or cheese or flavor. So if you order in you get an automatic 10% in gratuity added but they dont even bring the pizza to you or anything.. then if you order to go they charge 50 cents extra for the box.. also you can't order a box to go and sit inside to eat. The guy at counter seemed new but he was nice. The guy behind him helping was kinda a jerk though. Was very short with his answers and stared at me like I was crazy for asking if I could her half cheese half supreme. Oh also, absolutely no outside drinks! Even water. Inside there is not much seating and it was similar to cicis booths.
google avatar

Jill J.

Yelp
These guys don't mess around! Real NY pizza! This guy is throwing the dough up in the air! Little place with big flavors and great crust!

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Really bummed because the first time I went here the crust was very good. The second visit however, will be the last. It's one thing to have the NY jerk vibe but when someone is telling you the food they paid you for is revolting being a jerk may not be the move to retain patrons. Cold toppings on a hot cheese pizza isn't a $30 pie. Ordered another, when reassured the pepperoni was a cooked topping, (at full price) to have it undercooked and doughy served with twice as much sauce and cheese kinda sprinkled on was another waste of $30. Also no water cups for a 10% dine in charge. Should've been different, but it wasn't different was it....
google avatar

Yelp
Dinner | $20-30 If you are looking for low quality ingredients, undercooked food and terrible customer service this is your place. First pizza came with cold toppings, luke warm sauce and attitude. Asked them to heat it they said now that's how it's comes so the ham and pineapple don't dry out. Doesn't make sense to me since ham is roughly 45% water and pineapple around 85% water. Some of the highest content fresh cheese is 70% water and this wasn't that. So by his logic the cheese shoulda dried out. Just lazy. A specialty pizza that is advertised that comes out cold is messed up. 2nd pizza just pep and jalapenos came out under cooked (couldn't even finish a piece because the dough was raw) with terrible canned jalapenos. For $4 I'd figure I'd have a fresh jalapeno but nah. The owner used to be nice but seems his true New Yorker is taking over and coming out. At least out East when people are mean they are usually funny; not the case here. Probably why they are closed on Mondays and hours are dwindling, because he can't find help. After the way he talked to me and others in our party I see why he can't get help. Apparently they need keys or locks for bathroom now, that's fine. But before you let a customer walk up and down the hallway 3x and walk away every time I came up to the counter maybe offer help instead of using rude hand gestures, watching and consciously walking away. No water and can't bring yours in. I don't drink bottled water that's been sitting in plastic for years just personal we are all different. Not sure what happened in the last 6-10 months but man has this place gone downhill faster than Bode Miller.

Chris C.

Yelp
This place. Is there a better slice west of the Mississippi? Not in Denver. Not in LA or any part of So Cal. Its what PIZZERIA culture is all about. You walk in, they fling 2 slices into the oven for 4 minutes, they drag em out with their fingers onto 2 married paper plates. Done. Elevated pizza is great. Love Nancy Silverton and Pizza Bianco and everything - but this place is IT.
google avatar

Jerome N.

Yelp
5/5 Food 5/5 Service Ambience 5/5 The pizza is authentically thin slices like the East Coast style of New York. I'd highly recommend this place for a go to.
google avatar

Yelp
If you know and love NY pizza, Villagio is the place you need to visit. Hands down. Authentic NY pizza. So good!
google avatar

Wendi M.

Yelp
I popped in for a slice on my way to work one day. They seem to have a good regular crowd that go there often. I liked the cheese slice I had, and it's a good menu with a lot of variety. I would go there again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Such amazing and tasteful food. Go, you'll be very pleased with the wonderful sauce and ingredients!!!

Yelp
We got takeout from here for a family dinner. It was so good! We got large sizes of the chicken Parmesan pizza, the veggie pizza, and the eggplant Parmesan pizza for 8 adults and one toddler and it was more than enough (but nobody is sad about pizza leftovers). The eggplant Parmesan was my personal favorite, it was so unique! Their sauce is flavorful and the crust was great. We are excited to go back to try some more of their incredible sounding combinations! This will definitely be a regular spot for us!
google avatar

Marianne C.

Yelp
Amazing leftovers. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza to go. Wish I had gone with a large instead of a small, but make sure to skip getting a drink from here because it's insultingly expensive. Somehow my order went from $15 to $25, but it's good enough I'll go back soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok, best "NY" style pizza by far in the valley. These mandatory "fees" and "rules"are getting fucking ridiculous. It used to be a 2.5% CC charge and if you got a slice or two to go they charged you for the small box! Yeah, it's a real thing. $10+for 2 slices out the door and you pay for a fucking box too! I would always get my slices to go because they say no outside drink containers. Well I understand not bringing in your own soda, but my wife and I usually drink purified water out of our own 32 ounce Tumblr but apparently I can't bring that in and I have to buy their shitty overpriced Not very cold water out of the fridge. Now today I walk in for a couple more slices. and there's a sign that also says 10% mandatory gratuity added for dining in. This is a counter store where you order food and then you go pick it up....sooooo literally exactly like McDonald's. Too much nickle and diming, just build it into your prices. I'm surprised their offbrand parmesan in the shakers is free at this point. If you go read the other low reviews on here almost none of them are because of food quality. They're all because of customer Service, the ridiculous, no containers rule, or the owner or staff being rude. Maybe they forgot this is the customer Service industry. Plus, the dude somehow got his store taken off the One Bite app, what's up with that?
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
This is our go to spot for calzones in Salt Lake. They also have new york style pizza by the slice available or more custom, unique options if you get a whole pie. The space has a handful of booths and can get crowded on weekends. Staff is friendly and food is usually ready pretty quickly.

Yelp
Not just pizza. Villaggio has been on my list for a long time and I finally got to experience the magic of their Margherita pie. I've been thinking about this pizza for the past week. It's the only pizza I've ever eaten that I don't regret afterward. I came back for a single slice of pepperoni, and a Ferragosto pizza. It's made fresh, of course, in an oven that really crisps up the thin crust (so it smells amazing in here). The ingredients are really fresh and simple, the dough is absolutely perfect, it's not heavy, not greasy. Not loaded down with a bunch of crap. Just beautiful pizza with layers and layers of Italian and Bronx history behind it. It's definitely not Utah in here. Gregory has helped us both times I've been in, he's so friendly and helpful. The whole staff is on top of their game - it's an open kitchen area and everything looks so clean and you can see everyone hard at work spinning dough in the air, literally. No one is standing around. Love love love this place, it's the only pizza I'm interested I'm eating.

Matt W.

Yelp
I came into this place at the recommendation of a buddy of mine. When I try a new place for the first time, I almost always get the cheese pizza, because if they can't do that right, I don't have high hopes for anything else. As I was explaining this to a guy I was with, the owner chimed in and said something along the lines of: "If they can't do a cheese pizza, then they can't do pizza!" Hearing that gave me a MAJOR boost in confidence that one large cheese pizza was going to be WELL worth that $25 between two people. When the owner of the shop says that, THEY MEAN BUSINESS! Then, I got the pizza and took my first bite. Immediately, I said "yep... this is good!" Half a large pie later, and I wanted to get up and do a dance in the middle of the restaurant. This is currently THE BEST NY style pizza I have had west of the Mississippi river so far! It is also one of the best I have had in YEARS! The thin crust is cooked to a golden brown crisp, yet still light and gentle on the teeth. That crisp extends all the way to the center of the pizza, so you will get some nice crispiness with every bite. The crust is on par with the likes of Mack & Manco's pizza in Ocean City, NJ (now Manco & Manco's). Additionally, there is no gum line. Villagio's mastered their pizza crust! There was some freshly grated, full-fat dry mozzarella on that pizza, true to the craft! Look at the grease on the plate! There was enough cheese on there to have a bold impact on the flavor, but not enough to be overwhelming. They nailed the cheese quantity and quality! And last, but certainly not least, the sauce! It was perfect! It has the garlic! Its got the oregano and more! All the sauce's rich flavors are balanced, and it's sweetened just a smidge to cut out much of the acidity from the tomato's flavor. I didn't feel like I need to skip on dessert for the next 2 weeks. First time here, I had a small chat with the owner after eating. And man... No wonder why the pizza is as good as it is! All of the ingredients are sourced from the tri-state area. There is a water purifier in the back for the dough. He is clearly from NY himself, and there's 80 years of multigenerational wisdom that goes into it. Oh, and I have been back several times! Their ferragosto pizza is one of my favorite pizzas of all time! I'd be hard pressed to find a better place in Utah, as even some of the "best" serve medigan pizza. I will keep coming back for more! Congrats! You made it to the end! If you haven't had Villagio before, then I highly recommend going! They deserve your money, and you deserve to have one of the best pizzas in Utah! Don't trust the bad reviews. For the most part, they are not used to the directness associated with the northeastern, Italian-American way of doing business.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious pizza!!!!! The Pepperoni Calzone and the Ferragosto are friggin crazy good!!!! The eggplant parm is cooked fresh!!!... it's also super delicious!!!!
google avatar

Belle L.

Yelp
Wanted a small pie from the menu, but was told "we don't make small pies," charged for the takeout box, $1.50 for processed shitty ass ranch, 10% gratuity fee for dining in, asked them to take raw tomatoes off and was told "to get a different pie," nowhere to wait while pizza was being made, crust was harder than a rock, mid ass pizza.
google avatar

Emilita S.

Yelp
WONDERFUL PIZZA. I'm new to SLC, having driven cross-country with my doggie from NY. This place was recommended to me, and for good reason. The staff members are courteous and the pizza is excellent, particularly the sauce.
google avatar

Lincoln T.

Yelp
Quick and easy lunch. Great NY style pizza with a good crust. I will be going back. Not a ton of seating or parking but worth it.

Rob M.

Yelp
Best New York style pizza in Utah - hands down! Our favorite is sausage and pepperoni and Bianca.
google avatar

Kathee C.

Yelp
We stopped here last weekend because our oldest son has been raving about it so we knew we had to try it. It's NY style pizza and my husband lived in NYC for several years and was excited to try it. We each got a cheese slice and they are HUGE! It's a bargain too, only $3! Can't wait to come back soon and try more! The service was great. The shop Is small and cozy.
google avatar

Charles P.

Yelp
Pizza is very mid. Falls apart as soon as you pick it up. Service is none existent. They don't even offer water cups - only bottled water for sale. Owner yelled at my wife from across the restaurant to put her reusable water bottle away because there's no outside drinks allowed (again they don't offer water.) The owner and staff were drinking beers when we walked in even though they don't serve alcohol. When I asked him if that was considered outside drinks, he said "I can drink Modelos - I own the mother f*cker". No soap in the bathroom. Don't go here.
google avatar

Marcus A.

Yelp
I love pizza, and was excited to check out some local spots during my trip to SLC. I could not have been more disappointed and disgusted with my visit to Villaggio. I saw rat droppings and cockroaches inside the restaurant, the place is absolutely filthy. The pizza was also absolutely terrible, even little Caesars does a much better pizza. All in all a pretty gross little place that serves gross overpriced food.
google avatar

Thomas R.

Yelp
Closest thing to NY pizza in the valley. Really liked the pizza I ordered. Prefer a little more olive oil and a darkened crust, though. Still very good!
google avatar

Travis B.

Yelp
Fell in to this place by total accident because the Poke shop next door was closed for the holiday. Good enough reason, right? Loved it. That's really what it boils down to. Pizza by the slice (and by slice I mean the size of your head), full pies, calzone, and sandwiches. We tried the slices and they were out-of-this-world fantastic. Perfect crust. Awesome sauce, fantastic cheese, and great peperoni. It was a homerun for us. Next visit will be the sandwiches. From what I am gathering, this is the real star of the place. Couple notes: 1 - Small, private lot isn't great. Find a spot on the street. 2- This isn't the Utah "all you can guzzle" soda. You're buying a bottle. 3- Good things take time. It is going to take a minute in the oven. 4 - Seating is limited and not "fat kid" friendly. Excited to make this a regular part of the rotation.

Yelp
Anyone enjoy the, what was then the $1 Slice in Midtown NYC?? I did in 2019 and again in 2022, (think it raised to $1.50). Those visits ruined me. My search for the Utah equivalent came up short. Honestly, I did get close with a couple, but there was always something lacking; the crust was lame and/or absolutely rubbish cold. And who doesn't love a cold slice once in a while? So, let me stop here on the past and bring you to the present. Today one of my coworkers, knowing of my search for the perfect NY slice, shared a short video on a place right here in Salt Lake City. For the hour or so before I was able to leave for the day, all I could do is think of what to get and whether or not to call it in or order in house. My thoughts were, if I order to pick it up how will I feel if I get it home and the family is disappointed. The decision is clear. Order in house after partaking of a slice. Good call. So I scurried south and parked just outside the doors. Ok. First impression, there is a line outside. I am officially intrigued. Small chit chat outside with a gentleman about the joint was only fueling my excitement. I noticed the line was moving forward smoothly. After 10 minutes and 10 or so patrons who had ordered or gathered their square boxes, I was finally at the counter. Greeted with a friendly "What can we get you?" The new kid, (obviously older than a college dude) smiled and took my order. " large Cheese and a large Margarita Calamata, please". "That's it?", he questioned. I felt like I need to try something new. "Please suggest something.", I replied. In a half turn he looked and pointed at the menu. "This is my first day. I love the San Genarro. It's delicious and my favorite." "Hook me up, good sir!" I exclaimed. Not really. I said something to the effect of, "ok. Large please." Now, how do I describe the absolute joy/euphoria that shuttered through my very soul at the first bite. I can't. It is the closest I've been to NYC without leaving the Utah Valley. Speaking quickly with the owner/operator, I am delighted that he brought us together. The Margarita Calamata is a game changer! The meatballs on the San Genarro are just spicy enough to beg for seconds. The Cheese Slice hot from the oven was to die for. Perfect combination of garlic and Motz and the crust was beautiful to consume as to look at. Do I recommend Villaggio's?? No. I insist that you make time to enjoy the friendly staff and a quick slice of heaven. I promise, you will be happy that you did. If you happen to see me there, say hello and I'll buy you a slice and share a table with you. Enjoy the photos!!

Yelp
It was fun to know there's a New York pizza joint in town. Of course we had to take the family and try it out! Upon entry, we weren't totally impressed with the lack of service, or more specifically, lack of any sort of acknowledgment at all. The crew seemed really busy with phone or online orders, so totally understandable, but a little "Hello" or "We'll be right with you" would have been nice. Perhaps, it truly is a NY kind of place? Eventually, we were able to place an order. We got a slice of pepperoni, cheese, and focaccia. The focaccia was our favorite. Some toppings and full of flavor, really delicious. The other two slices were fine. I think I didn't love the pizza because I didn't love the pizza sauce and that influences the taste quite a bit. It was a nice place to try and we will likely go back to try some of the other items on the menu.

Brent D.

Yelp
No-nonsense pizzeria. Fantastic slice, authentic NY style. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Very good New York style pizza. Excellent price as well. Kids loved the size of the slices

Yelp
I love pizza, and the best pizza is New York Pizza. I have been searching Utah's pizza establishments looking for a decent pie, always disappointed, but finally found relief tonight. The crust is thin and crispy, the cheese melted into sludge with the sauce, this place is truly a great find. The only reason it's not five stars, is because the peculiarities around service. No outside drinks, Ok, I can live with that, but you can't even bring in water, wtf. They don't serve water except for bottles you must buy. The 10% gratuity, when u r not served I can live with, but the ask for a tip when paying in addition to that, its just stupid. I will be coming back for more pizza, but I can't give it five stars with these irritations they introduce, that are so unnecessary. I'll never understand irritating your customers by nickel and dime policies, when you could just bump the price slightly and arrive at the same revenue without the irritations. SMH

Yelp
I like it. It's good. I told all my Reddit boys about this great establishment. Moved back to Pitty city or I'd still come twice a day for my two roni slices. Thanks fellas.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
I am giving Villaggio five stars only because I can't award any more than five! THIS is the place in SLC for true New York style pizza. The pies are huge, and individual slices are sold. Lots of topping options as well. The only downside (nine stars instead of ten?) is that Villaggio is not contracted with any delivery services, so you have to pick up the order directly. Not an issue most of the time.
google avatar

Ryan D.

Yelp
I came in on a busy Saturday night, and it was definitely very busy. This is always a good indicator of a good place to eat. They were sold out of all slices except cheese/pepperoni, so I bought a whole Sicilian pie. It had a nice thick crust with a little bit of a yeast aftertaste, which makes me believe that they let the dough ferment overnight. Overall, it was pretty good with my only real feedback that it needed a little bit more cheese on top and some olive oil in the pan as it cooked to make the crust a little bit more crispy. I also ordered a cheese calzone, and this had enough cheese for an entire pizza. It was a wonderful buttery flavor, which I will definitely get again.

Yelp
Came on a recommendation of someone at work. Absolutely awesome! Real deal NY style pizza. I had a meatball parm sub and a slice. More than I could eat and both were amazing!
google avatar

Stef A.

Yelp
I stopped by the near by outlet and decided pizza sounded like a good idea. It was a great idea. The restaurant is clean and inviting. We were quickly helped and got our pizza less than 10 min later. Our pizza was thin, crispy, and filling. You could tell they care about the quality of their ingredients, you can taste it in their food. Would highly recommend for a quick bite or even for take out on a date night. Best pizza I've had in a long time in Utah.
google avatar

Amberlee H.

Yelp
Fantastic NY style pizza! We had got the chicken Parmesan pizza and wow. I could only eat one slice and my daughter had 2! The customer service was beautiful, very easy to talk to everyone working there and the foooood. I wanted to sample it all! They had everything from calzones, slices, whole pies, subs and baked ziti! Love this place great ambiance as well. It felt just like I was in NY.

Yelp
Best pizza in SLC - true, authentic NY style pizza. I used to work at a NY pizza place in Chico CA, and I have been so disappointed with local pizza places, putting way too much cheese and too thick of crust... then I was recommended this place! Did not disappoint! Great prices, amazing thin crust with a wonderful sauce that you can tell is homemade! Clean atmosphere, great service, amazing pizza! Thank you, Villaggio, for bringing NY pizza to SLC!
google avatar

Glen L.

Yelp
So sad to see this place go downhill. My east coast friends and I all descended upon here soon after they opened for real deal NY style pizza. Not sure if it is the quality of the ingredients or the staff making the pies but they have dropped out of the top 5 NY styles in SLC. There are plenty of places to get Big Apple style pizza in SLC and Maxwell this isn't one of them anymore (hint, hint) Not worth the drive or faux Bronx/Brooklyn attitude for a mediocre slice.

Hannah S.

Yelp
Best pizza and calzones ive ever had! Chicken parm sub is amazing. Highly recommend this place! The service is great and staff is very friendly.

Yelp
I love a place where I can look Online and see a picture of their pizza, walk in get a slice of pizza and it looks exactly like what I saw! I'm like "boyhowdy!" This tastes super yummy!! You know a pizza is superb when you order just a cheese slice and You find the pizza tastes absolutely wonderful! The crust is crispy and chewy at the same time! The cheese is melted and toasted perfectly! I kind of like it overdone BUT this was not overdone it was just right! I will be bringing my family over for pizza real soon! The calzones look perfect, the different side dishes that they serve alongside their pizza's look fantastic! I bet somebody's Nonna taught them how to cook real well! Come on in and enjoy some major Yumminess!

Yelp
Quick and yummy. Their thin pizza style is my favorite here in SLC. I find myself craving their pizza time and time again. Never change a thing! Grazie tanto! Ci rivedremmo.

Yelp
Decent little pizza joint. It reminds me of the places I would frequent, when I lived in New York City. Quick walk up counter where you can order a full pizza or grab a slice or two. Went with a basic cheese, as I have always been a fan of a steaming hot and melted cheese giant of a slice. The slices are huge and prices are great. Their dough has a good flavor and the sauce was flavorful. Overall, happy with our visit. The only reason for the 1 star deduction is the crust gets pretty tough near the edges, which is always one of the best parts of a NYC Pie. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Expensive pizza and $1.50 for a small thing of processed ranch. Pizza had too much sauce and that made it soggy, the crust was as hard as a rock!

Yelp
Pretty good! The pizza quality was great, the store was clean. The serving sizes are huge. A few things things to note is: - they have a surcharge on card transactions - there's limited seating inside - the parking situation is confusing (they have a sign pointing you to park in the back of the building, but if you follow the signs directions you'd be going the wrong way on a one way street.) - the wait time was pretty long - they don't do any customizations whatsoever on their Signature Pizzas - the "small" pizza is still pretty big, - and if you pay like $4 for most pizzas you can get the large pizza instead

Yelp
I cannot express how much I loved the pizza. If you like New York pizza, you will love this pizza parlor. This was a recommendation of my boyfriends friend that stops in frequently on his lunch break from work. He told us we needed to try it and I am so glad we did. If this is the one thing I do on my staycation I will be very happily content but enough about that. Let's get to the review! When you walk into the dining room it has a very inviting open concept with lots of light and plenty of clean tables. The young gentlemen taking your orders are cheerful, friendly and very nice. They take your order and while they prepare your slices (we ordered a couple of cheese slices) they point you in the direction of the beverage cooler so you can grab your drinks. They have you pay ( which slices are 4.00) before leaving which is super smart because if a lunch slice isn't enough for you then you can add another. Love it! As we waited we got to see photos streaming on a tv of the delicious looking menu items. Now I am sorry I didn't order a meatball sub to go. When the pizza slices were delivered to our table they were piping hot with gooey cheese, well seasoned sauce, and crispy crust. It is the New York pizza I grew up on. You know the kind you pick up, fold in half and burn the top of your mouth on but don't even care because it is so good. While I was in pizza heaven I watched how attentive the guys behind the counter were to answering incoming orders to boxing up their guests leftover to take home to wiping off tables. I wish I could give them 10 stars but I can't so instead I tipped them 10.00 on a order that was under 12.00 and I will so do it again! I will be back very soon.

Yelp
According to social media, this is everyone's favorite pizza in Utah. I tried it, and it didn't disappoint. My family ordered a couple of non-traditional pizzas. For me, traditional is cheese or pepperoni, which are my go-to. So, I'll have to go back to try those, but the pizza I tasted was really good! I enjoyed the sausage calzone most of all. The sausage variant came highly recommended and it was everything I could have dreamed of, and none of that cheap, crumbly sausage. We're talking actual, high quality, delicious sausages!

Yelp
Having lived in New York City for several years, I had high expectations for Villaggio after hearing it was NY-style pizza. My slice was unfortunately pretty underwhelming - parts were hot, but other parts still cold. Tasted like it came out of a microwave rather than an oven. And the staff have that sort of "rude guy" vibe without any of the charm being in NYC.

Yelp
Food is great. I've never eaten inside but the service is great. Just a really great pizza parlor.
