Date night, ladies night, enjoy a meal alone. This is the perfect spot. Food is amazing. They offer a great variety and if you are not a big Italian food fan but tagging along with friends don't worry they have a rib eye on the menu along with chicken tenders. Seafood dishes are my go to! Don't let the curb appeal (or lack there of) keep you away. Well worth the visit.

Google
The food was absolutely amazing. Will def come back. We were sat immediately. Didn't need a reservation. But we went around 4 and then it got busier. So a reservation would be wise.

Google
One of the finest Italian restaurants we've been to. The lobster ravioli was great. Dessert with a freshly filled cannoli and a cappuccino. We'll be back to try more items on the menu.

Family owned and so fresh this is a local stop you don’t wanna miss. We started with bruschetta before Caesar salad, the specials were too amazing to resist I had the filet with creamy mushroom cognac sauce and lobster ravioli in a sun dried tomato sauce, he had the swordfish with scallops over risotto and a caper lemon sauce.

Google
Surprisingly we were able to book the restaurant only a week ahead, which is rare for Mother's day. Our waiter was amazing, super nice with a sense of humor. 5 stars to our waiter. He waited patiently while we were late for 30 min. Food was served very quickly and it was delicious. I am very picky about food and it was really good, even dessert was satisfying. We will definitely be coming back.

The filet mignon I had was absolutely perfect. I also tried the lobster ravioli, but I requested it with a garlic sauce instead of the traditional tomato sauce—exquisite! The atmosphere was delightful, and the staff were well-trained and exceptionally polite.

Google
We went out Friday night, our server was Patrick. He alone made our experience perfect. We’ve been here once before and knew we loved and would be back. We got the duck special and the swordfish special. So delicious and let’s not forget about the spinach ravioli. Patrick, if you read this, don’t change anything about the way you serve people.

Google
The food was delicious the service was great Andrew was attentive and we were impressed how he remembered our order without writing it anywhere. The atmosphere was wonderful with absolutely Italian vibes with the decor. . I wish there had been a little music in the background perhaps some guitar or mandolin. My only regret was not leaving enough room for desert ! We had enough take home for two more meals. We will be back soon!

Yelp
The food was terrific and the service was excellent! Comfortable atmosphere. Andrew was most attentive and courteous. He noticed I was following the score of the Red Sox game and updated me.

Yelp
Always a favorite!! My husband and I go here as a special date night and it never disappoints! The staff are so friendly and attentive, make sure you always have what you need. Our favorites are the mozzarella fritti, mussels or calamari appetizer. Their homemade pasta is 10/10! My husband always gets the seafood linguine. The flavor is incredible and the portions are big! And desserts...DELICIOUS! Well worth it! Pricing is very reasonable! Been awhile since we got any drinks from the bar but never had complaints! Definitely make a reservation cause they're always busy!

Yelp
Well, that was a disappointment, to say the least. No issues with the taste of the food or the service during the meal. But ... after coming home after a tasty dinner my wife got violently ill. Am I certain beyond any doubt that it was food poisoning from the meal? No. Do I think it's overwhelmingly probable? Yes. Simply cereal for breakfast, same as always. No lunch. Nothing for dinner other than what she was served there. And nothing afterward until the unfortunate stomach rejection of all that had been placed in it. What makes me react with a 1 star is that my prior rating was 5 and so if we average, we get 3. Which is likely above what I'd give it were just the single visit with illness included but whatever - seems logical. And the reason isn't simply the food poisoning - that's something that can happen at the best of places. The problem was the response of the restaurant. My first call got someone who told me the manager wouldn't be in for five days and then simply hung up before he'd heard anything more than "could I please speak with the manager?" The next call was ignored and the third call stood up! (Sorry, Monty Python reference). The third call actually got a woman who assured me that it's impossible for my wife to have been food poisoned. The reason being that nobody else had been. When I pointed out that scallops are pretty much one to a customer she held firm. In fact she assured me that because they take such great care it's impossible to have been their fault and proceeded to relate how her child had come home with norovirus and that's what it undoubtedly was. And I'll agree the two have similar symptoms but not identical and the onset and extent of both are different. Zero issue, then a sudden upchucking a couple of hours after eating and nothing following that ... food poisoning. Then she explained to me that there was nothing they could possibly do and when I said that there certainly was, that most restaurants I know of would apologize and comp her meal, that again fell on very deaf ears. And that's basically the crux. When I go to a nice restaurant and choose that one amongst all the choices, part of the choice is always the people. How the interactions are when things go right and how they are when things go less right. And beyond my own feelings, it's not a fantastic approach to blow a customer with a serious issue off because that ensures an end to what would otherwise be a steady string of further meals and further profit for the restaurant. Even if I KNEW the customer was wrong, I'd comp their meal simply because the negative publicity from that customer does me no good and taking a small one time loss for multiple future profits is pretty much a no brainer. And there we go.

Yelp
To start with, I didn't go to the restaurant this time, but I have in the past, it's a beautiful restaurant - but, I just recently moved back to the area, and tonight, ordered via Door Dash. I wasn't sure if it would be as good, as well, DD, and delivery. But...this is by far the best order that I have had delivered by DD since I moved to the area, and maybe ever!! To start with the delivery was much faster than the estimated time, which is much appreciated, and surprising for a Sunday night! The pictures usually never look like the real thing, but in this case, the food actually looked (and tasted) better! The chicken Pollo Parmigiana, had lots of cheesy goodness on it, the sauce was excellent, and the upgrade of linguine carbonara was perfect! It is hard to find a place that can make carbonara, and getting it through delivery is tricky. Villaggio nailed it. The eggplant Melanzana Rollatini was also incredible. Honestly, I wanted to eat the whole thing, because the filling had the perfect blend of spices, ricotta, and other cheeses, but I am saving it for the next couple of days. Along with the rest of my dinner! Seriously, if Icould have one meal for the rest of my life it would be eggplant rolatini. Especially this one! Try this place, you wont regret it!

Yelp
Awesome dinner at Villaggio. Drinks were good, we enjoyed the caprese salad , chicken piccata and the frutti di Mare paired with a nice bottle of wine. Server was new, but energetic and friendly. Overall we had a great evening.

Yelp
Group of 12 reserved table for Thursday 6:30p Pros: excellent food Cons: lousy parking lot shared with rest of strip mall. Some of the group had been here before, for others like me it was the first time. The place was very noisy for our first hour. There seemed to be a shortage of servers, as evidenced by how long it took to take orders and then deliver our drinks (20 minutes) That said, Our server was very good, remembering all of the drink and food orders and swaps without writing anything down. Missed out me drink, otherwise no mistakes! I only tried a few items and will generally limit my comments to those. Burata app: 4 stars The cheese itself was delicious and fresh. The accompaniments were perfect. However, the Burata was very firm and more like store bought than the softer, creamier fresh cheese we've had before) Mains: I ordered a special, sea bass with shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. The kitchen cooks everything to order so it was no problem for them to exclude peppers from my meal. This was a surprisingly pricey dish at $48 but I don't regret it! Veal Parm: ordered by half the table, I tasted my husband's and am glad I didn't order it. Taste was good but way tougher than expected. Seafood pasta: I didn't try it but will next time. It looked fabulous and the one person in our party who ordered it was very pleased. No room for desert this time...will have to come back with a smaller group on a different night to see if this place can earn a 5th star with faster drink service

Yelp
We absolutely loved this restaurant! Our server was Laura & she was excellent! Extremely attentive and very friendly! I had the spinach salad which I really enjoyed. It was a generous portion, too. Hubby had the chicken parm & he thought it was fantastic. Very generous portion size, too. He also had the chicken lemon rice soup & he said it was delicious! Very quaint & beautiful decor, too. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I'll get straight to the point on this one.... Best Italian restaurant I have ever been to and I have gone to some pretty solid ones. The place may not look like much from the outside but that all changes ounce you walk through the door. My wife and I sat at the bar and my Star ranking is as follows: Atmosphere 5 Stars Service 5 Stars Drinks 5 Stars Apps/Entree 5 Stars The bartender was pleasant, polite & prompt...definitely knew what he was doing! We saw several entree plates being served to other people sitting at the bar and they looked Amazing! Price-wise definitely affordable considering the high quality of food and drinks as well as the commendable service. We will be coming back and the Villagio is now one of our favs in ManchVegas. Good Job!!

Beth G.

Yelp
spend a few $$$$ and replace cheap flickering light bulbs. Annoying and did nothing to accommodate. The bathroom bulb was even worse. I would have left if not for being with a group.

Yelp
First I want to say the food is always amazing. The specials are what I live for snd never disappoint. However our server was horrible. Demetri was so inattentive. We waited a full 10 minutes without being touched at all. No water no bread. He came took our drink order and was gone. Bread drinks came then he rattled off the specials so quickly I just went with the last one. Food came out super hot then we sat and sat waiting for him to check on us NOPE sat longer and he waited in a table behind but never checked. Finally hubby yelled excuse me can we get to go boxes and he says would you like desert. I'm like dude that option passes 10 minutes ago. It's sad bc the good there is fucking amazing. One server can ruin it

Yelp
well some pretty varied reviews but we thought it was very good, outside in a strip mall, a little tired, but very pleasant and welcoming inside, we ate at the bar and bartendress pleasant and helpful, drinks were excellent and as ordered, food excellent, we had the caesar salad with chicken and the chicken parm, both very good....not too busy this afternoon but we certainly enjoyed our visit!!!

Yelp
Very surprised of our last dining experience. Food was off. Maybe they have a new chef or owners. The eggplant rollatine was terrible and it was our go to appetizer..chicken Marsala was just ok ...disappointed!!

Steve B.

Yelp
Had very high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing,Food with bland, restaurant staff has a personality of a rock. i'll stick to the Olive Garden..

Tim S.

Yelp
Went there for our anniversary tonight. First time. Food did not disappoint, service was as good as the food. I believe Dimitri was our server and he was great. We'll be back as there's plenty on the menu to try.

Yelp
Food was top tier! Service was absolutely fantastic. Atmosphere was wonderful too! From our appetizers, to entrées, then dessert.... If I could give more than five stars.... I would! Definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed. Trust me!

Sue N.

Yelp
One of the consistently best Italian restaurants in Southern New Hampshire. Never disappointed. Great food and drinks

Ruth K.

Yelp
Great civilized bar scene (not a sports bar although there are 2 tvs. Dining room is small with upper level suitable for larger groups. Upscale menu and friendly servers. Family owned and operated with a wide range of freshly prepared Italian food and daily specials at slightly higher prices but ample portions and excellent flavor. The veal chop ispecial is outstanding!

Yelp
Went out with friends and the place was great. I believe Michael was our server and he was over and beyond a great time. Super funny and made us all feel at home. Small environment that made it feel like a home. Great for fun convos. The Italian food was the best around town. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Tried Villagio in Manchester for the first time last night. We had reservations for 4:45, got there at 4:30 and they sat us right away. Everything was absolutely fantastic! My husband tried the lemon chicken and rice soup and his favorite Italian dish, carbonara which thankfully lived up to his expectations. I tried the pollo ripieno that was absolutely delicious!! 5 stars from us and will be back if we find ourselves in Manchester again!

Yelp
A great little Italian restaurant with fantastic service, excellent food, and a beautiful atmosphere. It's a great date night spot, but also fantastic if you're just looking for terrific Italian. Everything we have tried here is excellent. There is a full bar and a grape wine list. You can get a carafe of their house wine and it's quite reasonably priced. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

Tom K.

Yelp
Excellent Food, Drinks and amazing service! Multiple visits same result, highly recommend for any occasion.

Yelp
The best Italian takeout/delivery around. Everything was packaged well, the portions were huge, and everything came hot and delicious. We will be ordering again!
google avatar

Lili S.

Yelp
Villaggio Ristorante has quality food. The menu looks inviting and I ordered the Pollo Parmigiana and Capallini Primavera. The Limoncello Tiramisu had the perfect balance of tang and sugar. I inhaled it. I recommend this restaurant and can't wait to try their other dishes.

Yelp
Delicious! From the mocha martini, hot fresh bread and olive dipping oil to the incredible entrees - it is definitely the best Italian food we've had! Veal Marsala with whipped potatoes, chicken parmigiana, Gnocchi, and the chicken piccata were our choices. All healthy sized portions and all hot and tasty! The lemon tiramisu and classic tiramisu were perfect! Our server was sweet and very attentive. Next time we're in Manchester we will be there!

Sandra L H.

Yelp
Everything was wonderful! Crystal was a wonderful server very attentive. Food was AMAZING! We had the Pollo Lumeine ... definitely recommend. Atmosphere relaxing. Decor beautifully done! We will be going back! Thank you Sandra & David Houle

Yelp
Service was good. It was my wife's birthday and our anniversary. I let the restaurant know and the hostess mentioned when we arrived but then nothing. Which we would have paid for any dessert but they did nothing which was disappointing. Fried calamari was and crab arancini were good as was the house salad. I specifically asked for al dente pasta which came out over cooked and bland. My wife order carbonara with "fresh house-made angel hair which was not fresh it was dry pasta. But Carbonara does mot contain cream and this was roasted garlic cream sauce. It was fine but not Carbonara. Tiramisu was terrible, mushy and wet, ate one bite. Pistachio cake was meh. All desserts were Sysco bought or US Foods. Either way mediocre at best. Overall disappointing, place had nice atmosphere and server was pleasant.

Yelp
Food was very good. Pasta fresh and cooked to perfection. Plenty of options. Service was well timed and friendly. Ambience is a little dated and seating is tight but manageable.

K M.

Yelp
I feel like I should write two reviews since I had a different experience for food vs. service. Since I can't, I am forced to give it a 3. If it was just food, a 5. I won't get into it but suffice to say, when making reservations, try and stay away from Michael. Not very good at all.

Kaite M.

Yelp
The service was so great, our waiter was incredibly helpful and kind. The food was wonderful too.

Rich D.

Yelp
Had a great meal tonight, chicken and veal parm, cheese ravioli with shrimp and scallops. Very satisfied

Diana R.

Yelp
Gluten Free Diners Beware! They do serve gluten free pasta, although it is overcooked and falling apart, but do not serve gluten free bread. So I had to sit and starve while my table mates ate bread and olive oil. I suggested to the manager that they serve gluten free bread so that celiacs don't have to watch their table mates eat. She assured me they'd consider it, but until they do serve GF bread, I will not return. The service was very slow, and when I asked the waiter for my salad ahead of the entree, because I couldn't have the bread, he said he'd bring it 'now' but 'now' was with my table mates' salads. The salads, though included with the entrees, contain about three forkfulls. I am not impressed with the quality of the GF pasta or the service. If you're celiac or have a gluten allergy, skip this place; Manchester has many Italian restaurants that are much better.

Yelp
A party of ten went on a Friday night , they were only able to get us in for a 4:15 seating. Our server was very attentive to our requests. We all ordered different dishes with special requests and all were accommodated. All apps and dishes were good The Atmosphere was good for a strip mall location.

Yelp
First time to Villaggio did not disappoint! I had a craving for some creamy pasta for an early Mother's Day dinner, and this hit the spot. First, the restaurant is so pretty! The tables are set so beautifully. It's a smallish space, and the tables are cozy, so you'll definitely need a reservation. When we arrived for our 5:15 reservation, there was a line already formed at the host stand (and out the door). We enjoyed lovely bread and dipping oil, followed by an appetizer on the daily specials menu: Blue Crab Ravioli in a Lemon White Wine Cream sauce. This was fantastic, and my favorite part of the whole meal! I'm not a New Englander so I never learned to love lobster or clams or anything, but I LOVE some crab when I can get it. Our garden salads were okay (included with the entrees). Mostly iceberg with some other bits, and an olive and a crouton. I thought the house balsamic vinaigrette was really tasty. I had the carbonara angel hair and husband had an entrée special which was red snapper and scallops in a lemon caper sauce. All so delicious! The only less than perfect part was that our server went missing for a bit but luckily we snagged another waiter who was nice enough to grab a drink for me, so it was fine. The food is delicious, parking is easy, reservations are easy on Open Table.... what's not to love?

Darcie B.

Yelp
Great drinks, food, atmosphere. We eat at the bar more personal. Family owned & everybody's friendly.

Diane S.

Yelp
We went to dinner for our anniversary, the bar drinks were very weak and over priced. I had some seafood with pasta and all the seafood was over cooked, and lacked flavor. My husband's meal was un rememberable.

Amy T.

Yelp
Food was delicious and generous portions. Bread and Creme brulee was warm and fresh. Entrees large and tasty. Service was professional although not cheerful. Courses were appropriately timed. Ambiance was fine although artwork cheesy and table flowers fake!
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
Food was bland, the pasta overcooked. Service was more on par with Olive Garden Nice interior but too loud inside to enjoy your meal.
google avatar

Tracy M.

Yelp
I came to pick up an order that was supposed to be ready by the time I got there. Not only was the food not ready, I had to keep ask when it would be ready. I was told "shortly" the order finally came out 15-20 min late. I was ignored by both the hostess and the manager as I stood in the very small entrance.

Yelp
If you love Italian, you'll love Villaggio. It's in a strip mall so it doesn't catch your eye but it's very nice inside. The atmosphere is elegant, the service was on point and the food was delicious!! Villaggio is so much better than the Tuscan Kitchen and the Coliseum.

Mary F.

Yelp
Giving it a one star for this event. We recently went on a Saturday night. In total had 4 drinks. 3 glasses of wine and a stohly raz cosmo. $88.00 plus tip. Over $100 for 4 drinks. Thought they must have messed up. Called and they said one of the glasses of wine was $27. Are you kidding me?!! One of the glasses of wine was a pino though she charges us for 3 Chardonnays. Not good. Food is pretty good. Because of this episode I will never step foot in there again. On a side note: Very sad The North End Bistro has closed, now that's a great restaurant.

Yelp
Craving Italian for three straight days, there were a lot of Italian places in the area. We settled on this one as our choice and headed there. Not a bad drive from our hotel - and located in a small shopping strip plaza, parking wasn't an issue. It was nice inside - I felt underdressed, with cloth tables, cloth napkins, and some finer silverware on the table. Oh well. We ordered the usual bruschetta for an appetizer, which was very good and came with a nice portion of the item. It's odd to me how places all differ on how they make, present, mix their own bruscetta. My only "issue" would have been I would have liked to have more balsamic on the or in the mixture. Either way - very good. For an entree, I ordered my usual chicken parm, which when it first came out only was by itself - but the pasta came out quickly after. I also added a meatball which I may make part of my order just to try it. The chicken was really good - nice fry on it and the sauce was incredibly good - not too acidic but still enough to get me going - also the thickness was perfect. The meatball was good - however it was cold inside. For dessert I ordered a raspberry white chocolate cheesecake - which I picked from the dessert tray - ***ONE OF MY FAV PARTS OF MY CHILDHOOD TO DO*** and I think they need to bring that back at restaurants so you can see what youre getting. Overall a really good meal - despite having to sit near a girl who WOULD NOT STOP TALKING. Whoever she was with kept going to the bathroom - probably couldn't find the Comet under the sink to end it with. Yikes.

Aaron C.

Yelp
Not sure how this place has anything below a 5 star review on their food. I've been here dozens of times, it's my go to for Italian north of Boston, and literally the best authentic Italian outside of the north end I've ever found. If you don't like the food you may want to stick to Olive Garden... service, food and cocktails have always been outstanding every time I've been. Any negative reviews of this place should definitely be dismissed. Place is awesome, we're going there for dinner right now!
google avatar

Christopher V.

Yelp
Tucked away on the far end of an unassuming strip mall in Manchester is this place. What a find! Italian food done perfectly and served courteously. Fabulous decor and a wonderful atmosphere. Four of us dined on a variety of dishes, complemented by out-of-this-world Wedding Cake Soup, great appetizers and salads. I don't post many reviews, but Villaggio is worthy of very high praise. We will most certainly return!

Geri P.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was amazing. The best spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmigiana. The portions were enormous.

Jason R.

Yelp
Called to see if I could make a reservation today for tonight. A woman answered, very pleasant and said sure let me check on that for you. Places me on hold, I waited 10 minutes, she never came back. I tried back twice and my calls were sent directly to voicemail. I hope the food is better than the staff that answers the phone. I guess I will never know.

Steve L.

Yelp
Great meal great atmosphere and service Wii definitely be back lucky to grab a table without a reservation

Brittany W.

Yelp
I got lobster ravioli and lobster risotto. The risotto was fairly flavorless, but came with 3 half lobster tails on top. The amount of lobster was good but had no flavor. The lobster ravioli came with 3 ravioli and half a lobster tail. It was $26. My boyfriend asked if there was normally only 3 ravioli and they said "yes, that's why it's listed as an appetizer". On their menu it is not listed as an appetizer and is listed right under the Lobsyer Risotto in the Seafood section.
google avatar

Olivia P.

Yelp
Overall very good but they were expensive and stingy on some food items. We paid $15 for the scallops app and it was literally 2 scallops cut in half so you got "4" small thin scallops. They tasted great but I was offended that they were so stingy with the seafood. We order delicious seafood dishes for dinner that were $35 each and got 2 shrimp, 2 clams, 2 scallops a bunch of mussels and half (that's right, cut down the middle HALF) a lobster tail. I'd go back because everything was very good but would not order the same things. Also tables are squished together and it is overall super loud. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable.
