"This wine shop and tasting room is lcoated in Edgewood, adjacent to the Candler Park-Edgewood MARTA station. Owned by Dwight Cunningham, co-founder of the Roswell Wine Festival, Vin ATL offers wine tastings and a menu of daily wine flights consisting of three half pours. People can also order wine by the glass or purchase bottles here. Seating is available inside or outside on the patio. Vin ATL is neighbors with sandwich shop Bona Fide Deluxe, owned by the team behind East Atlanta Village restaurant Banshee." - Beth McKibben
"T-Gates This wine-centric chain isn’t unique to Atlanta, but they’ve partnered with Southern National to bring down-home flair to their ATL menu. It’s a long trek to the very end of Concourse T, so if you have yet to invest in a bag with wheels this journey might be what tips the scales. But we’d gladly make this expedition to enjoy a calmer section of the airport as we dig into upscale Southern dishes like their lamb ragu with tasty ground lamb, al dente rigatoni, and a light dusting of parmesan. If you really want to start vacation early, pair it with The Brookhaven for a burst of cool, refreshing cucumber tinged with gin and St. Germain. While it’s not quite as good as the Summerhill spot, we’d still clear it for takeoff. " - demarco williams, nina reeder, juli horsford, jacinta howard
"A wine shop and tasting room, VinATL is open across from the Candler Park–Edgewood MARTA station." - Beth McKibben
"I live down the street from Vin ATL and I love what Dwight Cunningham is building in this little pocket between Edgewood, Candler Park, and Kirkwood; as part of the wine-bar scene it feels like a thoughtful neighborhood spot with a clear niche." - Beth McKibben
"An Edgewood wine retail spot that pours wines by the glass and offers flights, with a large outdoor patio and indoor seating that make it a casual place to taste and socialize while sampling curated bottles and guided pours." - Samantha Maxwell
