"Think about the best meatball sandwich you’ve ever had. Was it assembled behind a glass wall and toasted in an industrial blast furnace by an angsty teenager? The one at Vince’s changes the game. This spot from the same team behind Pizzeria Pulcinella has been a Burien staple since 1957, and offers some pretty predictable Italian food in a pretty predictable setting. But among the too-salty carbonara and bland eggplant parmesan is a true star—the meatball sandwich. This thing just has perfect meatballs, marinara, and provolone on flaky, soft homemade bread. Eating it with family members squeezed into a vinyl booth with red checkered vinyl tablecloths is just as crucial to the experience. " - Nate Watters

Best italian food I've had in Seattle so far. The spaghetti sauce is nice and savory and rich, and not watery, just the way it's supposed to be. The meatballs are good and the desserts are really good, and they always give me extra topping when I ask. The chicken mushroom pasta with cream sauce is good too, just wish the chicken was chopped up upon order and it needs some added salt and pepper but with those things it's great. That would be my only critique is some things need some added seasoning, at least salt and pepper. I get that they might want others to add salt to their liking, but some plates come off bland where you have to add salt everytime. Like the shrimp/tomato pasta and chicken mushroom pasta. Still my favorite Italian place in Seattle.

I’m not sure what happened here. I hadn’t been to Vince’s in years after frequenting regularly when I lived in the area. It wasn’t good at all. Bottled blue cheese salad dressing when they used to make in house. No breadsticks. Frozen meatballs. Nothing like I remembered. Not sure if ownership changed but they need to go back to freshly made food. The bread was the only thing that was good.

Haven't been back here in 13 years and so much better than I remember. Had the tortellini, amazing! Also ordered the calamari, best ever! Cooked to perfection. Not chewy or greasy. I will always recommend! I hope I can make it back here at least once a year.

Ordered on Doordash... wow! I loved everything! The Side 2 Meatballs are amazing! Best I've had ! Loved the flavor of the sauce! Mixed Green salad was good and the Italian Sub was delicious 😋

I've been to Italy, I'm picky, I'm a foody. Nough said. The menu is big enough to offer something for everyone without being overwhelming. The same can be said for the food. The marinara sauce is so flavorful without the typical acidity or sweetness. I have a terrible stomach (so bad I had surgery recently), and it didn't give even a hint of heartburn! Amazing. The bread...I just can't. You're gonna need to try it for yourself. That's bottomless, free, and they are very generous. They even send a little more with your leftovers. Did I mention that the server packages your leftovers separately per plate!?! Incredible. I just can't say enough good things! Here's some more... The pizza is as traditional as traditional gets. Straight out of an Italian in Italy pizza oven. It's flat, the cheese is fresh sliced - yes, sliced off a fresh ball of mozzarella. The basil is whole leaf. The dough doesn't make you feel like you sucked a bunch of gas in with every bite. It's just simple and yummy in its simplicity. All the food is that way. The only ingredients added are what is expressly needed to bring the food to its best flavor; period. No more, no less. I can not tell you how refreshing Vince's was. Im so tired of going to the supposed Italian restaurants, paying double what we did here, getting less food, and less flavor. Vince's blew all of my expectations out of the water. I will absolutely drive farther from home to eat here again and again! We were celebrating my niece's high school graduation, so we were at the restaurant for 3½ hours. No one ever glared at us or bothered us again after we paid. Incredible.

I’ve heard the name and visited gfs restaurant many times over the years. They were very good and seemed true to an east coast style of Italian food. It was spot on. We went there today and don’t remember this to be the same place. It was good. It didn’t really impress as it has in the past. Hope they can get back to their original flair food food. A fresh coat of paint would help too. I will be back again and give them another try.

Quality homemade italian food. Lasagna was full of meat and cheese. The sauce had great flavor. The pizza was covered in cheese and the crust was cooked perfect. Resturant was clean and comfortable and our waitress was friendly.
