All Chianti Is My Kind of Chianti | Bon Appétit

"An old-school Italian-American restaurant in Ontario, California that evokes strong family nostalgia; the author remembers childhood dinners there and that her father washed dishes as a kid. The spot is tied to ritual drinking of Chianti and the warm, communal, slightly theatrical atmosphere of classic red-sauce dining." - ByMarissa A. Ross

Vince's Spaghetti is an institution in Ontario and the Inland Empire, and with good reason. They serve many different Italian food options, their most famous being their spaghetti, of course. We've been coming here for years, and it's always a treat to enjoy great food at reasonable prices. Vince's gets a 5 out of 5 stars.

Obviously delish—this place is a staple when it comes to Italian food in the IE. Definitely a must-try if you haven’t been! The cheese on the salad is so good, and the ranch is fire. You can tell the sauces are homemade, and everything just tastes super fresh. I usually get the lasagna—it’s sooo good and super filling. Honestly, I can never finish my meal because I go for the soup and salad first and skip the garlic or cheese bread (my husband, of course, gets it all 😂). It is a must, that I get spumoni at any Italian restaurant that offers it. Always delicious, always hits the spot. Service is always excellent—we had a really sweet lady who kept our drinks full and checked on us often to make sure we were good. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, but I will say the inside could use a little TLC. It’s definitely a bit outdated and could use some visual updates, but that doesn’t take away from how good the food and service are.

Vince’s Spaghetti Ontario is a delightful Italian restaurant that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and family gatherings. Renowned for its authentic flavors and generous portions, Vince’s consistently delivers a satisfying dining experience. The spaghetti and meatballs at Vince’s are simply outstanding. The pasta is perfectly cooked to al dente, providing a nice bite that complements the tender, flavorful meatballs. The sauce is a highlight—rich, tangy, and seasoned just right, with a hint of herbs that elevate the dish. It’s a classic comfort food done exceptionally well, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to traditional Italian recipes. Their lasagna is another standout dish that keeps customers coming back. Layers of perfectly cooked pasta interlaced with savory meat sauce, creamy béchamel, and melted cheese create a hearty, flavorful masterpiece. The pasta layers are tender yet firm, and the balance of ingredients results in a rich, satisfying bite every time. The portion size is generous, making it a great choice for sharing or indulging in a hearty meal. Overall, Vince’s Spaghetti Ontario excels in delivering homestyle Italian cuisine with a touch of authenticity. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re craving classic spaghetti and meatballs or a comforting lasagna, Vince’s provides delicious dishes that remind you of Grandma’s cooking. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine Italian flavors in Ontario.

Though, I live in Colorado now...Growing up in the area, this was our family dinner restaurant, ALWAYS!!! I can count 5 generations of my family that have been to Vince's, dating back to the very beginning of Vince's. Service has always been great, and the spaghetti is the best. The smell is permeated into the walls, what a wonderful smell. The meat sauce is delicious and the garlic bread is the best!!! I do not miss Southern California at all, but every time I go back, Vince's is a must stop for dinner.

This restaurant is a family tradition. My parents came here when they were kids and my kids bring their kids. Great spaghetti. The sauce is so tasty. Garlic bread so delicious. I like getting the dinner option. It comes with soup and salad....so work it. Always have left overs!

The OG spot … we all grew up here celebrating birthdays holidays anytime Family was getting together. The spaghetti on hold was always the place. We have so many memories here.!

Google
Vinces is one of our absolute favorites. They seriously must put Crack into their spaghetti sauce. I don't understand how it tastes so good. I never ever order spaghetti at a restaurant other than Vinces. We drive 30 minutes to come here for spaghetti and garlic bread and it's totally worth it!!

Google
Vince’s does food perfectly. Their menu is perfectly sparse and the focus on what they make, the serving size, and creating a memorable meal inside and old fashioned yet classic Italian restaurant, is why they have been around for 50 years. The simplicity of their minestrone soup is overshadowed by the enormous flavor in every cup. Paired with a salad covered in vinaigrette and a side serving of Provolone cheese is the best start to enjoying either spaghetti or manicotti enveloped in either marinara or the wonderful meat sauce. Next time, it’s going to be about the meatballs. But be careful, once you start going here, you’ll return and try everything in your own combination of plates and servings. Ciao!

Yelp
This is one of my longtime favorite places to go. While I was in town recently, I stopped for a full order of spaghetti and meat sauce with the melted cheese on top and they're famous garlic bread. It didn't disappoint. It was as delicious as ever. The weight staff was friendly and professional food came in a very timely manner and I always enjoy looking at the vintage pictures posted around the restaurant. I love the way it is decorated. It always feels like a blast to the past. Don't think you'd be disappointed by stopping here I haven't been and been eating here for over 60 years

Yelp
The wife and I went here for dinner Saturday night a little after 5 pm. Parking lot was full, but no wait inside got seated right away. Took a bit for a server to come by. I guess our server had a large party also. Another server brought our drinks took our order and brought out our soup and salad. Then the regular waitress brought our dinner out. Mine was cold except for the middle, even the meatball was cold. Took most of it home heated it up tonight for dinner added some meatballs and made some cheese toast. It was pretty good

Yelp
I went there for dinner last night with family and once again good experience. I've been there since the early 80's, worked briefly there with my Mom. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night dine in or take out. We were seated and served drinks right away. Didn't wait very long to order our food, most of the party ordered lasagna with meat sauce while I had Vince's dinner with meat ball and lite meat sauce. I added the provolone cheese. Server was very busy but attentive with not long wait bringing food and refill. Everything was very good as usual. I usually like to eat there for lunch cause the half order is more portions and filling.

Yelp
I'm shocked to see that I haven't posted a review here before as Vince's Spaghetti has been a constant staple in my life since childhood. There's no place like it and it's my #1 restaurant recommendation in this area. The food quality, price, taste, and value is unmatched - they don't have a massive menu, but what they do have on the menu, they do RIGHT. I have so many fond memories at this restaurant (graduation parties, birthday parties, date nights, etc.) and even more memories of Vince's to-go meals at family gatherings and other hosted events. Naturally, Vince's Spaghetti was my requested first meal back home after delivering my daughter. I used her 2-day old name as the "name on the order" and couldn't NOT share the news with the employee who took our pick-up order over the phone. To our surprise, the restaurant treated us to two complimentary desserts to celebrate the occasion and this new mommy enjoyed each bite! We will forever be grateful for this gesture (see pictures) and Vince's has a new fan as of March 2, 2024.

Yelp
Growing up with an Italian mom I am picky about sauces. This place is really good. It's been in business for years and family owned. I take-out when I'm in the area and bring it home. The restaurants are clean and staff are friendly.

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't wrote a review here since I been here a hundred times! You cannot beat old fashioned spaghetti! Menu is simple, solid, salad, pasta. Menu isn't extensive so it should take a long time to order. I believe spaghetti, lasagna, or manicotti. The prices are amazing for the amount you get. If I lived closer, I would come more often. Place is usually busy. Don't forget to add a meatball! And ask for light dressing cuz they drench it a little too much
google avatar

Marlisa S.

Yelp
Food is okay. Interesting flavor of meat sauce, kinda sweet which I liked but they didn't give much. They had a good deal of Pasta, Salad, Soup, and Bread for $25! The Bread was super yummy. Service wise was meh too, I felt rushed despite it not being busy. Inside is intimate vibes and it's relaxing. I liked it a lot. Will I come back here again? Maybe if I am in the area and crave Italian. But not impressed enough to make it my go to.

Yelp
Vince's is a little family owned restaurant with a simple menu and large portions! We used to come here when we lived in SoCal, now we come here every time we vacation here. Food: 4.5/5 We really enjoy the food the food here. The pasta we have got every time is a 5/5. The soup is really good as well. The salad is ok, but it is very simple and mine was slightly over dressed. The portions are very large. The dinner comes standard with a "Half" portion and it is so filling for one person. Atmosphere: 4/5 I really like the atmosphere here. It may not be for everyone but, I like the dim lighting large dining room areas and the overall feel. It definitely is a comfort feel for me and it has a classic old school family restaurant vibe. Vince's has been here since 1945 and their outside sign has the classic nostalgic feel. Cool little piece of info: The original house that the owner live/lived on is right next door in the parking area. Customer Service: 4/5 Our service this trip was pretty good. Our waitress was quick and polite. She also recommended a good beer. The only reason I'm docking a point is because I was charged for the wrong dish on one of the meals, but I just paid it. At Vinces, you pay the bill at the front desk area. So, after I received my bill, I didn't see my server anymore. In the past though I have also got good service. Price: 5/5 I think it is priced well for the amount of food you get. The "Vince's Dinner" is around $20 and includes a soup, salad, garlic or cheese bread and a half portion of pasta. The beers and wine are very reasonably priced. Parking: 5/5 There is a large parking lot with a ton of parking! Vince's to me is just a cool, nostalgic, classic family Italian restaurant. I have personal ties to this restaurant so it always has a special place for me. If you are in or near the Ontario area of SoCal, it is definitely worth a trip out to try it out! I consider it a local gem!

Yelp
Very disappointed. Poor service. Server informed us 40min wait for lasagna. We waited , server returned after 35 mins and told us 40 mins more. Server should have informed us from the beginning that the wait time was 1 hour and 20mins. Instead of having us wait! Very rude and disrespectful!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place..! I've been coming for 30+ years and still the same flavor. Service is always fast weather you dine in or take out. The ambience is classic diner style. Place looks out dated but, I tell you the food is absolutely a staple in this area for years. The sauce is one of a kind flavor hitting the pallet in all the right spots, blending with the homemade style pasta , a flavor you go bananas for. I tell you this is definitely a flavor to enjoy each and every time. So grab an extra shirt and dive in on this delicious food, will leave you wanting more. And it reheats perfectly, tastes better the next day . Yum and yum

Yelp
I love this place. Being coming her since I was a teenager. Now come here with my family and my kids love it. Big portions of plates. Service is great. Place is cozy.

Yelp
I've been coming here for the last 20 years. It's very nostalgic for me. That's me back to my early 20's. Food is just as good as it was back then too. Don't need a big variety when you've mastered spaghetti.

Yelp
Vince's Spaghetti is a community favorite and a must-stop in the Ontario area. The portions are large, the taste is always delicious, and the service is great. We had family from out of town (a party of 11), and we all agreed that Vince's was the spot!

Yelp
Got to-go tonight. A "to-go" person since I adopted a dog with separation anxiety, I've become somewhat of an expert on, not only the FOOD!, but on the packaging quality, effort, and ACCOUNTABILITY. The reason I mention accountability is because ALOT of restaurants short you on to-go orders. I am just blown away on the freshness, packaging, customer service ordering and picking up, and AMOUNT of food we got. Thank you vinces for allowing me the full memorial experience from when I was a little girl. Annette Martin

Yelp
First time here. The salad was drenched in dressing. The pasta tasted like plastic. The sauce and pasta was extremely watered down. The only positive thing was the staff was nice. Food was a 2/10. Not the greatest.

Yelp
What hasn't been said about Vince's. I've been coming to the Ontario location since I was about 8 years old. After we played hockey across the street at the Ontario Ice Rink. The location has been here for years and is the original location. Parking is tight and enough for about 80+ vehicles. Handicap stalls are about two maybe three. No steps but a good slight incline down towards the front door. Wait room inside for about 10 (Mostly waiting for take out and outside for about 20-25) As you wait for a table you can smell the food and it smells so goood !!! When your inside your always greeted by a friendly maître d'. There are four rooms and they have a banquet room too. (Reservations are required) The front area are booths (About 10-12). The middle room are mixed with booths (About 7-8) and tables for About (10-12). The back room are for the largest parties mostly with small children ( Approximately 20-25 tables and chairs and (5-7 booths) That's what it seemed like the one and only we were back there. We useably sit in the front locations because the noise level can get elevated at times. A lot of pasta !! The kitchen is always busy and the servers are fast to keep up with the flow. Food hardly ever sits in the window before it swooped up and taken to your table HOT VERY HOT !!! Spaghetti is there specialty but they do have a host of other great food items to try. They also have what's called a "Full" order and "Half" order. Don't let the half order fool you. ITS A LLLOOOOTTT of food on the half plate of spaghetti with meat sauce. Meatballs are very tasty and HOT !! I usually get the half order spaghetti with meat sauce and one or two meatballs. Cheese or Garlic bread and a very nice plain salad with your choice of dressing and a drink.... Abbondanza I think that's how it's said lololol Here are the numbers, in my humble option, for Vince's Spaghetti. Location: 8 for 10 Food: 10 for 10 Service 10 for 10 Return 10 for 10 DEFINITELY !! No pictures this time but will go back for some pics.. Until Nest Time, Stanley.

Yesenia L.

Yelp
The food is overpriced, no flavor in the sauce, I would not recommend at all. On top of that the service was not great. We were to the waiter next to us. The girl had a great vibe everything I wish you would've got her. I've been coming here for years so disappointed.
google avatar

Barbara L.

Yelp
Food was ok. Salad had lots of brown lettuce. Bread was good. Service ok. Surprised no knife provided. Run down and dark inside.

Vivienne W.

Yelp
If I can I would give it a negative. 1. When you just enter the restaurant, you can smell something like sewage. Later I noticed the floor next to restroom was dirty too. It was the worst smell I ever had in a restaurant. 2. Pay attention to the menu. They charge you 1.65 just for an empty plate. 3. Ordered 1 gallon sauce to go in smaller containers. Instead they charge me 4 quarter price instead of a gallon price, which is 10 dollars more. If they think their math is better, at least they're not smart enough to keep their customers.

Yelp
The wife and I ordered some spaghetti and meatballs as well as some lasagna and OMGosh like always great taste and flavor where one can not go wrong coming here oh we actually ordered out for pick up.
google avatar

Yelp
Always great! Full-size is certainly "FULL-SIZE", the dinner is fantastic, salad always crisp, ranch dressing super tasty and the bread is wonderful. The meatballs are a good size and also a great side dish.
google avatar

Yelp
Vince's spaghetti is such a classic simple spot. It is one of the only places around so cal that specializes in a few simple items and that's it. As simple as it may be, their spaghetti with meatballs can cure my sickness. I've also gotten their masta however you spell it and their French dip which is heavenly in itself. Their spumoni and carrot cake are also so good. The main thing though is the waitress. Everyone has always been super nice but the lady we had today (Saturday night) was fantastic. She had her hair done up all nice and high and had almost a Jersey accent? Super super sweet lady. She was very busy with all the tables but you can tell she was doing her best. Love this place, and super cheap food in this economy!
google avatar

Adriana L.

Yelp
The best spaghetti in Ontario, Ca. I love getting the meat sauce with the spaghetti. I enjoy their cheese bread as well. We also got the meatballs on the side. So scrumptious! Everyone that works there are very friendly and great customer service.
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
Take out is fast and easy Spaghetti is hot, fresh and delicious. Busy and usually a wait on the weekends if dining in. Big portions
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
My entire family got sick from eating here. The only reason I'm being nice and giving 2 starts because of the waitress she was very attentive and caring. We will not return. I get the chills just thinking of this place.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!... I love thick meat sauce on my spaghetti or lasagna and they delivered just that!!... soup n salad were delicious also ... the service was excellent and very attentive and friendly! I Love the atmosphere of authentic Italian restaurant ... I will definitely visit again very soon ... I met with 4 other family members to catch up on life... and we had a good time! ... we sat there talking after we had their amazing desserts and we didn't feel rushed to leave while we caught up with each others lives ... I highly recommend this place .

Yelp
Historic location you can imagine this ( with the remnants of a motel in the parking lot) in the middle of orange groves. 65 year ago The outside is actually better than the inside. Once inside it's a hodgepodge of big rooms dark ugly florescent lights and bare bones old decor. Almost depressing. The Food: Small menu. Opted for the Spaghetti dinner. Soup /salad /garlic bread and a mountain of spaghetti ( meatball was extra ) The help : Efficient and I always like places that hire older workers. The taste : Not good or bad. I remember the garlic cheese bread being more crunchy and tasty. Couldn't finish a half order. But not worth a to go box The Cost : I thought for what you get it definitely isn't worth 70 bucks for 2. Spaghetti is the cheapest thing to make. Meat sauce isn't a kings ransom either. Final thoughts: Maybe nostalgia is over rated the clientele at this location looks very small town and like me were chasing a memory. The Rancho Cucamonga location has the same food but for some reason it's much more fun. I've been here 4 times in the last 2 months because there's something I'm craving but not sure what it is.
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoy a quick and delightful dining experience, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families looking to sit down and savor their meal. Dine out is easy and fast. Food hits like it always does, uhmazing!
google avatar

Valorie G.

Yelp
I have been coming to this place for years! The best spaghetti in town. Highly recommend if you're looking for a family dinner place
google avatar

Elleen E.

Yelp
I have been to both locations now. Both are very good, but the one in Rancho Cucamonga surpasses the one in Ontario. Ontario actually rates four stars for the food and service. Rancho Cucamonga earns five stars for food and service. The food was hotter when served and better seasoned. The staff was friendlier and seemed happier to work there. JMO, but IKWIL! I will go to either depending on convenience. MANGA

Yelp
Located off Holt Blvd between Central Ave and Mountain Ave. I've been coming to Vince's as far back as I can remember. Every time I stop in, it brings back different memories. The decor still remains the same from what I can remember and to be honest, I'm good with that. It's like going back to your parents home. The restaurant's actually pretty spacious with a lot of seating. There's a good combination of booth and table seating with a couple bar seats, although I'm not sure if the bar seating's still used. The menu's limited with a focus on spaghetti. I mean they serve over 21 tons of spaghetti every month, and over 15,000 miles each year. I usually rotate between spaghetti and lasagna during my visits. Unfortunately, during my last stop, I was informed the lasagna has been discontinued. Hopefully this isn't long term and they bring it back in the future. Vince's usually has a couple local craft beers on draft which is nice. I went with Claremont Craft Ales 35 Miles NE which is a New England hazy. I enjoy eating at Vince's and will continue for many more years. If you haven't been here before, you should stop in for dinner and see what you think.

Yelp
My husband and I love to go to restaurants that have stood to the test of time. Vince's Spaghetti has been around since 1945. When you walk in you definitely are walking back in time. The staff was very nice and welcoming. You can tell that a lot of regular customers come here. We were very sad to hear that they are no longer making Lasagna. The entire menu is really Spaghetti, I believe they also have a French dip and meatball sandwiches. The garlic cheese bread and the cheese bread were incredible. The Spaghetti was good, simple, a little bit on the sweet side. Meat balls were also good.
google avatar

Mark E.

Yelp
This is another throwback for me. A place I'd often visit with family when I was younger. Loved it then, still very much love it today. The focus here is on pasta; it isn't a full-blown Italian restaurant by any means. One thing they've kept on their menu is the French Dip sandwich. It's the item Vince's started with years ago, and it's great to see it's still a worthy part of the menu. (It IS good.) Now, the pasta. This is a classic place where a half-order is more than enough for most. Dinners include soup AND salad (lunches are one or the other), garlic or cheese bread (I get the garlic and - don't tell anyone - sprinkle the grated Parmesan on it), and a plate of delicious spaghetti. They've added a couple items over the years (i.e., lasagna), but it's tasty spaghetti with meat sauce for me. There's rarely room, but it's hard to pass-up an order of spumoni to make the meal perfect. Friendly service and great old-timey decor make the Vince's experience a tradition I'll be keeping for a long, long time.
google avatar

Christopher K.

Yelp
Great value. The food will fill you up. Order ahead half serving if you want to eat it all but fill super full and order a full serving if you want to fill super full and still have enough to take home and fill full there too. I recommend the garlic bread over the cheese bread. The cheese bread was a bit strong. Also careful using the table parm. Try your spaghetti without it first and then sprinkle a little at a time if you wanna try some. It too is very stanky. Definitely leave room for dessert when you go, all their cakes are delicious.

Vivian O.

Yelp
Although our favorite entree Lasagna was not available the second go to Spaghetti with meat sauce was delicious. You can't go wrong with the food and service. I'm just so sorry it's not closer to my home. We would love to eat there all the time. We drove over an hour to enjoy this place.

Hector P.

Yelp
This place smelled like sewage . The food was not good at all. The ceiling was falling apart. The salad had brown lettuce. The service was ok. The kid who was cleaning the tables was using dirty water and bleach to clean the tables . It smelled really bad in there.

Yelp
Me & my bf visited while waiting for another shop to open nearby for a quick lunch. Everything tasted authentic & fresh coming out quickly. The restaurant was decorated old cafe style which reminded me of souplantation. Our waitress Julie was so nice and attentive making sure our coffees were always filled; we loved her service and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Our first time to Vince's. The food was good. Hugh portions. Server was awesome and sweet. Was fairly quiet. One of the other servers was pretty loud about bread but all good lol. Will be back

Yelp
Growing up in the South Bay, we had a Vince's in Torrance (near Hawthorne Blvd and PCH) for the longest time. My family always went here when we needed a good, old-fashioned filling meal. I practically grew-up on their spaghetti dinner (which included salad, soup and bread)...and their very consistent and trademark service...even offering plastic bibs! A few years ago, the Torrance location sadly closed and remnants of the former location are no more. However, I have recently discovered that in Ontario, there is also a Vince's that is very similar in terms of some of the food and their popular 'dinners for two'. Although I've never actually dined in here (only done pick-up), it's the closest thing to that Vince's taste I grew up with and I do not mind the one-hour round trip drive from time-to-time. Plenty of parking in their private lot. Very rustic feel inside, with wood-paneling and a classic feel. Service has always been friendly and efficient. Good value for the set dinners to go which includes: pasta, soup, salad and bread. I hope to be back in the near future for a nostalgic and filling meal.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
My fiancé had been talking about Vince's for quite a while and finally we got the opportunity to head out to Ontario to check it out. What a wonderful find! You are transported back to a wonderful family style Italian restaurant with great staff and a pretty simple menu. The portion sizes are massive! I have the half order of spaghetti with meat sauce and a salad. If you LOVE cheese- have them add it. The house salad was a cheese fest of shredded provolone and the cheese mountain continued on the pasta. The prices were fantastic and I can't wait to head back there!
google avatar

Diana T.

Yelp
I had heard of Vince's Spaghetti years ago and decided to try it for lunch. I should have know by the lack of people that it wasn't very good. I did order a glass of wine and it's wasn't served in a wine glass which I did not like...we ordered spaghetti and meat balls and a meatball sandwich with a salad. The sauce looked brown as if it had been cooked once too many times. The salad was just lettuce with the dressing nothing special not even croutons, olives or cheese! And the sandwich was on the small side. I wasn't impressed with this establishment at all. And to top it off it gave us stomach problems a few hours later. So NO I will not be visiting again. Sorry Vince's Spaghetti
google avatar

Ron M.

Yelp
Me and my family have been eating at this joint since 1978. For Italian food it's pretty good. The spaghetti sauce rivals mine and may be even be better than mine. With every meal you get soup and salad and of course their classic garlic bread, oh my!! Over the years their food has been consistently good, I recommend the spaghetti with meat balls on the side, delicious!! And don't forget you can get it all to go.
google avatar

Hali C.

Yelp
Delicious, fun, great staff and food! We order to go for grandpas birthday and Christmas. We finally are in the restaurant and it was SO good!

Yelp
Food. Service. Atmosphere. All like I remember when I was a kid. The place shows closed on Yelp but it's not closed. Ima post hours and the food we ordered. Also. A must. Make sure you get a scoop of the spumoni.

Yelp
Missing the Vince's location in Torrance California, so was able to eat at this location. Soooo yummy!!!! But you have to get there before they open because there is a line outside.....unbelievable, but truly a line. I think it's worth it though.

I recently dined at Vince's Spaghetti, and while I really wanted to love it, my experience left a lot to be desired. This is maybe the 5th or 6th time eating here (with friends, not on my own choice). Let's start with the food. It was decent but, overall, underwhelming. When you think of lasagna, you imagine generous layers of meat, cheese, and rich flavors. That's not what you get here. Their lasagna is, at best, three layers of cheese and spinach--no meat unless you pay extra for the meat sauce. Of course, it's an additional charge. For $25, I expected a larger portion. Frankly, the slice of lasagna I received was so small that my phone is bigger. The service didn't do much to redeem the experience either. The staff is young and seemed inexperienced. Service was slow. But that's to be expected on weekends but from order to food being received was 50 minutes. That's a bit extreme. For a place with such a long-standing reputation, I truly wanted to like Vince's Spaghetti. But honestly, I just can't enjoy it as much. Vince's has potential, but they seriously need to step it up in both food quality and customer service.

Yelp
Food was ok. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was nostalgic. We went here with friends for lunch on Sunday. (Sunday right when they open 12 is a great time to go). Last time I was here was in 2010. So 13 years later, I remember things a little different. Drove here from Anaheim. Spaghetti with one meatball. Large portion, meatball was huge! Loved the meatball, great tasting and texture was just right. Sauce was a little runny for me, maybe because of the noodles? But there was a puddle of water on my plate. Sauce was rich, not sweet. I thought I remembered a sweetness to it. Not at all. Still good though. Pasta was cooked al dente. Cheese bread was just that buttered bread toasted with a little bit of cheese. I was expecting garlic cheese bread? I probably should have ordered the garlic bread. Still good though. Salad was overwhelmed with dressing, I recommend asking for it on the side. I ordered thousand island. It had a strange taste to it, I couldn't put my finger on what it was. But I couldn't eat the salad. Love that you can order a bowl of grated provolone cheese. It goes great on salad, soup, and pasta. Recommend ordering one for your table to share. Soup was the best thing I had there. Very good, fresh and bits of beef and rice. Highly recommend the soup. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was so kind, and generous, she made sure our every need was met, FYI they are no longer serving lasagna due to high costs. They serve Pepsi products.

Yelp
The food was pretty good but the service & the interior need some improvements. Came here with a large group for a last minute dinner and our waitress clearly didn't want to be there. We over heard arguing with another employee saying she didn't want to serve our table. She was very impatient and a bit rude the whole night. The ambience itself is kind of creepy. The lights are a weird yellow green color, the place is super old and unfortunately not in a fun vintage way. Parking is super easy, they have a big lot. The portions are huge and don't disappoint. Overall the food was actually pretty good, solid salad, soup was a bit salty but tasty. The meatballs were tasty but a lot of our food came out room temp. Overall it's ok .
