8 Exciting Things To Eat & Do Between August 27th - 30th - London - The Infatuation

"Forgive us readers for we have sinned. We’re about to utter three words we promised we’d never speak. National burger day. Yes, we’re aware that every type of food, mammal, and overpriced cocktail now has its own special day, complete with its own cynical sponsorship deal. Generally, we say treat them like an ex’s birthday and tell yourself encouraging things like ‘what is a day really? What even is time?’. Okay, Proust. But this year we have to acknowledge National Burger Day (Friday 27th) because in celebration, feelgood open-air spot Vinegar Yard is hosting what is effectively a best London burger crawl. The meaty line-up includes Nanny Bill’s, Baba G’s, Bleecker, Black Bear Burger, and a Neil Rankin Symplicity burger for any vegans. There’s a daytime and evening sitting, tickets are 12 quid, and you get a couple cans of lager included. If the weather’s decent, then grab a couple rum cocktails between burger bites too." - team infatuation

Vinegar Yard hosted our annual company summer party again this year for ~700 people and we had a fantastic time. The venue is well located, with great city views and atmosphere. There are plenty of food and drink options, catering for a range of dietary requirements. Micol was instrumental in ensuring the event ran smoothly and helped us to customise the decorations and music playlist in addition to organising a raffle, photo booth, and silent disco - all of which were well received by guests. I would highly recommend the venue for either an evening visit or private hire, and want to thank all the friendly and helpful staff who contributed to our evening.

Such a good central spot!!! Great weather or not so great, you really can't go wrong with going to the vinegar yard!! Most accommodating staff, checking in on our reserved table and the bar staff is just lovely even at the besiest times when most usually wouldn't give people a time of the day in thos area. A mist go for any occasion or just for that quock drink! Love it xx

Vinegar Yard: Lively Atmosphere, Mediocre Food Vinegar Yard near London Bridge offers a vibrant and bustling atmosphere that's perfect for a casual night out. The outdoor setting, with its string lights and eclectic decor, creates a unique and inviting ambiance. However, the food left a bit to be desired. While there are plenty of options to choose from, the quality of the dishes seemed inconsistent. Some were enjoyable, but others fell short. If you're looking for a lively spot with good drinks, Vinegar Yard might be worth a visit, but don't expect a culinary masterpiece.

Google
Pretty good place to grab a drink and tasty street food. It can be heaving and they turn the music up way too loud but overall it's a nice place and close to the station so easy to go on from. Lovely on a weekday after work.

Great venue to socialise, eat and drink. A stone's throw from London Bridge station.

Google
The vinegar yard is a beautifully designed open area with multiple food options available, there's an open area where you can order using a QR code. There's multiple restaurants and the app will seamlessly order from any of them at the same time. We ordered buns and a pizza and they were brilliant. We did not had a reservation, but that was not an issue, although booking a table might be a good idea. Overall a good place to eat and drink

Google
What a great place! It’s situated next to London Bridge station, closest to the exit by platform 13. It has street food, a bar and sometimes craft stalls selling clothing and wind chimes and the like. Best is the roof terrace outdoor seating with a great view of the shard. Good place for a few cheeky after work drinks before getting the train home!

Loved the place! Great food too! I’ve never tried mac n cheese croquetas from Nanny Bill’s and I loved it 😍 One of the best I’ve ever tried. I would also recommend the Slow cooked #beef brisket with amazing mustard mayo.

Yelp
Not much of a food court. You can count the number of food trucks with one hand. The rest of the space is occupied by tat stores (ie flee market).

Yelp
Not the best place in my opinion. Too much attention being given to a private business anniversary party next to our seating area as far as we could tell. The covered area ruins any views of the shard. The retro bar upstairs never opened and no one could tell us when or if it would that night. On a good note, we found a cool metal working shop with large windows next to bathroom and a guy was working on his art. Good to watch. Food was also good. You order from the QR code and they deliver to you. Daughter had vegan pizza and I had a lamb burger. Good food.

Yelp
Vinegar Yard is many things! You have a great outdoor beer garden (absolutely rammed with people most nights), several food trucks serving up burgers, pasta, fresh pressed juices and more. There's a coffee bar, and apparently a prosecco van (which never seemed to be open). On weekends, there's a small makers market. I couldn't resist delicious smelling candles from Oh, James and wonderful fabric bags made from vintage Liberty fabrics. If you're wondering where to find Vinegar Yard just exit London Bridge station near Guy's Hospital and look for the train car covered in giant metal ants. It's a cool spot you should check out.

Yelp
This place was very crowded but super fun. Young adult crowd. The food was very good consistently from vendor to vendor. If you go, be prepared to stand for a little until seats open up - especially if you go with more than 3 people. Also, at night they move the crowd inside which kind of brought down the vibe. Cocktails were very good!! Our bar tender was very sweet.

Yelp
Right before closing time it started pouring rain and the staff let us stay under the tent until the rain passed instead of kicking us out. Great food and drinks too!
