Vinny's Pizza

First off, they’ve got really nice and friendly employees who are willing to help you. But that’s about all they’ve got—this place is…kinda dingy. The pizza slices look like they went through WW2—they’re just lifeless and stale under heat lamps. I had a chicken sandwich that tasted a little underwhelming—the meat had a reheated texture, or else was cooked from being frozen. It wasn’t very good. I’ll restate: the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food, well…I’d just go elsewhere for a pizza or a sandwich.

Had to be the worst $26 medium pizza I have ever had! After 1 1/2 pieces I had to throw it away. Would have received a 0, but 1 star was the lowest rating

Hello today was my first time visiting this lovely establishment. I called over the phone first and spoke to someone very nice who ended up serving me my delicious slices upon arrival. This place is just right if you want a real taste of Flavor in your slice. I will be back every chance I get to eat this wonderful pizza!

Recently got to try this pizza shop since it was close to our hotel. Pizza was good more on thin side. Good flavor. We ordered an extra large cheese pizza as well as some Garlic knots. The sauce seemed like it was sauce little spicy, I didn't mind. Kids didn't care for the knots and they normally love bread or breadsticks. The giant chocolate chip cookies are a must!!

I ordered a pepperoni pizza for my wife it came to the hotel cheese only. I called and she said I’m sorry I thought you said cheese. Wife will not eat pizza without pepperoni. Been married for 26 years I know. They sent another pizza and came back like that all tossed around and when called to complain again they did kit pick up the driver either. Sorry I deal with companies all over the country and this place sucks. I would never treat my customer like that

Yum yum yum 😋 The pizza was so good we forgot to take a before picture. We sorta just dove right in.Their wings had the perfect amount of sauce and we're also very moist.

Got their veggie italian. Some places can be skimpy on veggies, but this place satisfied my needs for daily veggie intake (). Fresh ingredients and very helpful staff. This is why I'd always go to mom and pop shops. I would definitely revisit and try other pizza as well!

This was my first time here I got a piece of white pizza and a piece of BBQ Chicken. They were so good The staff are very friendly and they heated up my pizzas I got a whole BBQ Chicken pizza for to go because it was really good I wanted to bring it to my husband I heard a new owner took over the shop a couple months ago, I know there would be some changes when every shop gets a new owner. I totally understand that, and I love supporting local businesses, so I really hope their business goes well Thanks for the awesome

I love supporting mom and pop shops. But I'm a whole package kind of gal! You gotta impress me with everything! We decided to just order from here instead of going to slice and pint and little gourmet was closed. So Vinny's was our 3rd choice. I ordered online directly from their website and had a 35 mins pick up window. Luckily we came a little earlier only to find out our order was never sent to the kitchen. So in total our order took a little over an hour. The pizza is ok, I asked for well done and it was soggyish. I've definitely had way better pizza! I love pizza too btw! I'll still eat a bad pizza and that's exactly what I did. I'll give them 2 stars, my bf gave the pie a 5/10 & for the young gal who apologized for the wait but I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I get this pizza before I go to work. The Hawaiian pizza is so fire, and fresh, the customer service is always good, and the ambiance is kind of like a mom and pop type of deal. Like family vibes. The Hawaiian pizza is really really good.

Vinny's always has fantastic service and I used them a few times now for catering orders too (including recently on 4th of July weekend). The food was once again a huge hit! Especially the Tomato Cream Pasta! Unfortunately, I didn't take photos when I initially received the food, just the leftovers later on. The white pizza was definitely the most popular this time, followed by the margarita. Surprisingly BBQ Chicken Pizza had a decent bit leftover. I definitely ordered too much food, but I was so happy with the service and quality! They have a nice little cozy ambience when you're eating inside as well. 5/5 - Tomato Cream Pasta: super flavorful, definitely their most popular and best dish based on my experience. 5/5 - White Pizza: I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about this white pizza is a little different that makes it really stand out. It might be the fact that it doesn't have the same saltiness that many other white pies do. 4.5/5 - BBQ Buffalo mixed wings: A really great combination of barbecue and buffalo that makes for some fantastic wings. 4.5/5 - Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta: on its own, this pasta is great, compared to the Tomato Cream Pasta it seems far behind but that's just because the tomato cream is so amazing. However, if you're a fettuccine alfredo fan, you will not be disappointed at all. 4/5 - Margarita Pizza: a pretty solid margarita pie that is a little tomato forward. 4/5 - BBQ Chicken Pizza: if you're a fan of barbecue chicken pizza, you will not be disappointed. 4.5/5 - Garlic Knots: pretty solid and very flavorful, but a bit of a filler in my opinion Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Overall: 4.5/5

Tried to go to Slice and Pint but it was crazy busy so decided to go to Vinny's. First, this is more a grab and go type place. Very limited seating. The girls taking our order were nice. We were just visiting so knew nothing of this place so while waiting on our pizza I started reading the recent reviews. They had me a little nervous but we thought the pizza was good. We did a large pepperoni and ended up taking it back to the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to order from here again.

I think Vinny's has new owners and/or management. Instead of writing a long message about my experience today I will just say, save your money! We loved Vinny's and it was our go to spot even though we are not that close but not after today. So sad, no more Vinny's for us!!!

The food was great and came out very fast. Not only that, when I was ordering, the man at the counter was very patient and nice. It's very quaint inside, and the staff is very sweet. All in all a 10/10!

I visited Vinny's Pizza following a long absence to satisfy a craving for their 12- inch meatball sandwich. Unsure if there was a change in ownership but the sandwich was subpar. It tasted as if it suffered from lower grade meat and hardness from being overworked. The roll had evidence of being toasted but did not have a crispy crust.

Helpful staff, but sort of disappointed with the workflow. They lost our order and we waited about 25 minutes for a slice, salad, and sandwich. To top it off, the fountain drinks were flat. We were drinking syrup + water. :/

I love their heated Italian cold cut sandwich. Full of great flavors. And pretty reasonable price.

The ricotta cheese on the white pizza is *chef's kiss* sooo good! The crust is perfection. Staff is very friendly and love that the shop is right across the street from the park. Perfect for a picnic if there isn't enough seating inside. Definitely coming back

Pizza was good , service was great but this salad upset me it's not crunchy is soft like when your salad its going bad .... Haven't been here since last owner sold will give it one more try before I don't go back. I would love to rate a 5 start but can't maybe next time.

Glad to have found this gem! We loved our white pizza, margarita pizza, and garlic knots. The pizza crust was crispy and thin, and the toppings were generously portioned. I guess things can be a bit rocky at first when ownership changes, but we had a very pleasant experience with both the food and the service. The staff was friendly and prompt. We will definitely go back!

Great Pizza!! Even better service! I contacted them before visiting, and was answered promptly and kindly. The visit didn't disappoint! Just a GEM of a local pizza store, hand made with love! The place has a great atmosphere, the staff is kind and welcoming, and the food was excellent! Much better pizza than what I expected, crust, cheese, sauce, and toppings were all on point! 10/10!

I decided to give this place one last chance because of the service I had last time so I had some hope. Yesterday, (Monday) I went back to go buy some slices and they were just so thick from the edges the pizza just didn't come out right. There is some days where it comes out so perfect and others where its different. This place needs consistency that's really what it's lacking.

I just wanted to post this comment because this past Friday I went to buy a pepperoni pizza and a pasta and everything was very delicious! I was content with my food. But when I ordered yesterday, I ordered the same pizza and a pasta and they gave me everything different, the pizza on Friday looked good, very delicious, but on Sunday everything was very bland and tasted old- looked unappetizing. I like this pizzería- but I don't like the inconsistency. It sucks to pay for food that's not good. Will return and hope the food is good next time.

I recently found this gem and now order from here at least twice a week! They deliver for only a $5 fee if you order from their website. This is the healthiest and most delicious pizza I've ever had--super tasty, and every ingredient tastes so fresh. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty, wholesome pizza experience! My favorites are the white pizza, Vinny's Special, BBQ chicken pizza... pretty much everything!

I haven't been here in so long that I forgot I actually have been here! I had a craving for a pastrami sandwich and a cesar salad combo, so with Yelp to the rescue for what feels like the millionth time, this place popped up. I was surprised since it's primarily a pizza joint. I was also interested in their garlic knots, so I got one of those as well. It was convenient that they had a website to pre-order my grub and with a couple of errands to do at DT El Segundo, it was incredibly convenient. I came through 10 minutes early, so it was only fair they weren't ready for my food. I got the chance to take a look at some of their delicious pizza slices and couldn't help but try a slice of their Hawaiian. So, that, along with my online orders were ready and packed up to go almost at the exact time I wanted it. GARLIC KNOTS: Freshly baked dashed with parmesan with marinara dip. It was too much so I shared it with a couple of colleagues. They enjoyed it as much as I did - so much that they pledged to stop by sometime soon. It was warm and fluffy and so delicious, what a great starter! CESAR SALAD: I requested to add kalamata olives because I love Cesar salads with anchovies, but since since anchovies weren't really an option, I figure the saltiness of the olives were a good sub. Veggies were fresh and crispy! Perfect amount of dressing. Great starter as well. HAWAIIAN PIZZA: I know, there's a divide with pizza lovers with this: do pineapples really deserve/not deserve to be in a pizza? No matter, this was delicious, but my favorite here is the thin and crispy crust! PASTRAMI SANDWICH: Sans pickles and mustard on the side, It didn't look like much, but it was exactly what I wanted. Since I filled up with a lot of them knots and the pizza slice and some salad, I decided to eat less than half. I have had better, for sure, but it decent at best. FOOD: 4.5. VALUE: 4. SERVICE: 5. The fact that my food was ready when promised even after seeing so many peeps coming in and out for dine-in and take out orders.... boom. PARKING: Private lot shared with others and street parking available. It will get packed during the lunch rush. Plan accordingly. OVERALL: 4.5. I got to look around while I waited for my food and saw that I could have gotten the exact combo I wanted for much less AND added drink. (I wish they had this option on their website!) Lesson learned - sometimes it's just better to order onsite. Well deserved bump. They're definitely in my radar from now on...

This place is a hidden gem in el segundo, tucked away in a little plaza so it's easy to miss but i'm glad I walked in during lunchtime. They have good specials here but what blew me away was how affordable everything was. Pizza by the slice was only 3$ I felt I was cheating them. I got the mushroom and sausage and the cheese pizza slices alongside a fountain drink for only 10$! what a steal. The restaurant itself is very small but there's plenty of seatings and tables. The customer service here is phenomenal, I was definitely impressed. This place reminds me of a mom and pop shop which I LOVE. Pizza is amazing can't wait to go back and try their salads!

New owners recently changed the legit crust to a cardboard like substitute, probably to reduce cost but quality has suffered significantly. Done going here. This had been our after school spot for the kids.

It's definitely meh. I went there for a quick slice and I got bought in with their plain slice special. They didn't have any cheese pies/slices-to be honest their display case was pretty bare and the kid behind the counter couldn't say when more would be made, and then just kind of faded out until I let him know I was ready. I ended up getting two slices that I half-heartedly picked. The slices were both just ok-I got pepperoni and mushroom and and veggie slice, nothing that really made me want to come back and with the service being what it was I won't be coming back any time soon.

I work in the area and have been coming here for a while for lunch and within the last couple of months a lot of things have changed. I've noticed that on certain days of the week the food comes out perfect and other days it is just so off. On Tuesday's there is specials and they always come out so good and I went this past Wednesday for some slices and they just weren't good. I know there's a new owner and new employees but I didn't think that things would change so much. Overall I think that the service could be elevated.

Very delicious pizza. We had them reheat as we bought slices. And it came out crispy and gooey. I highly recommend.

This place used to be our goto pizza place in town but about two months ago it totally changed. Not sure if ownership changed but we twice had problems with making an order and they'd lose it. We'll take a break for a while and try again sometime in the future and hope they pull it together.

Amazing pizza and even better sauces! They make the sauces from scratch (so I'm told) and they are amazing. I'm a saucy guy so I called ahead to make sure. You won't be disappointed. Check them out!

It's too bad that Vinny's pizza was sold. I always get the one slice of pizza and a caesar salad special and it was horrible today. I asked for onions and mushrooms on the top and they came raw on top of the cheese pizza. The Caesar salad had wilted lettuce instead of crisp romaine as I have had every time in the past. I usually eat there once a week. Won't be going back.

Conveniently on Doordash, I was expecting big things from Vinny's and it didn't live up to expectations. If you're planning on picking up your pizza, I would suggest calling directly to place your order. It'll save you a few bucks. We got a medium Vinny's Special and it was just the right size for two people. However, the pizza was lackluster. I thought back to my time in NY and the pizza there and this wasn't anything near the same. The crust was soggy and the toppings didn't hold onto the pizza at all. Personally, it was average at best. There are better pizza joints out there.

First of the staff here is friendly and have great customer service. The food is amazing, the sandwiches the wings the pasta it's all good, the but the star of the show is the pizza. They have a great selection of slices to choose from, my personal favorite the white pizza with different cheeses, amazing .

We have been coming here for a couple years now when we want to treat ourselves to a yummy pizza. It's really out of our way so it's a special treat when we go and it doesn't disappoint. We always get the Pismo Pizza and extra sauce. Pepperoni, mushroom, sausage and onion.

Vinny's brings an authentic NY style pizza wher you can get a slice, lunch apraxia, or family deal. We got the family deal with extra large pizza, wings, garlic bread, salad, and drinks for only 50 bucks. It is def Enough to feed 6-8 hungry people. Everything was super delicious and well made.

Good pizza spot. Consistent with toppings and crust texture. Tried their Fettuccine Alfredo yesterday and thought it was good considering it's a pizza spot. Hit the spot so I'd get it again. It comes with broccoli which didn't sound appealing so I had mine without it. Staff is always cool with us when we swing by. Pros: + Pizza (Pepperoni, Extra Cheese, Light Sauce) + Grande Grinder (all meatball instead of sausage, no peppers) + Cool staff + Fettuccine Alfredo (no broccoli) Cons: - Calzone was soggy (dripped a lot)

Let me tell you about my $49 pizza and salad I ordered. Last Sunday (April 17) I ordered a large pizza with multiple meats extra meat in fact, extra toppings and extra extra extra cheese, where from other places cheese would be swimming, and the two slices below reflect the best slices from the pie. There was no meat, no sauce, no cheese. On top of my tipping the delivery guy $15. I did not receive a recipe only kitchen order ticket that reflected everything that should have been on there but we're not. Sat on the image I took below to share with my friends until I came across the photo again and get it was worthy of a Yelp review. Now I remember why I stopped ordering from here. Thought the world should know.

Vinny's is a friendly unpretentious neighbor hood pizza parlor. It is on Yelp's Cash Back and several Rewards Network list of affiliated restaurants, which is how I found it. Located in street mall, there is a good amount of parking stalls available. There is one counter and a handful of tables inside, I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of customers are from the neighborhood picking up. They have a good number of pies in the window, which you can order slices from. I've enjoyed several of their lunch specials- a two slice and their slice and salad. The two slices were under $9 with tax and a quarter of a large pizza- very value oriented. They don't have a brick oven, but their pizza is nice, has a thin crust, and is very crispy. Vinny's is a good place to enjoy if I'm staying in the area, or want a quick bite before I head to LAX. Recommend and will repeat!

Had a Togo order tonight that was not worth the wait that I had or the money spent. Pizza was ok for being reheated. Really disappointed in the large order of garlic knots. They say there is oil on it and supposed to be cheese and garlic. I received pieces of bread and a couple pieces of garlic. Will think of somewhere else to go for dinner from now on. Called to follow up and was told to come back for a new order. They would not refund my card.

I went in at 8 pm and asked for a cheese slice, and sausage and pepperoni slice. The person working behind the counter said they can only provide certain slices. Then proceed to bring out a box with dried-up nasty-looking pizza. And was like these are the only slices we have. It's 8 pm place closes at 10 pm how can a pizza spot not provide you with a sausage and pepperoni slice two hours before closing time, please do better!

Well this was a FAIL... 1st off we ordered over phone we were quoted 27.00 then the driver comes and order is 45 THEN THE WHOLE PIZZA WAS WRONG !! Completely wrong! 53.00 with tip then we call and they tell us there SIRRY no compensation no credit nothing pizza soggy NO CHEESE AND IT WAS COLD! Really pisses me off only good thing is we won't be going back and neither will my neighbors and we live down the street major mistake!!

Vinny's has the town local pizza spot vibe down with pizza slices on display for single slice orders. The freshly made whole pizzas are delicious but they are short on cashiers and are usually busy with taking phone orders. Expect to wait 5-10mins to place an order and you'll be fine.

Place is good and their pizza is always on point but they always take a while to give you some wings, last time I came they also took awhile. this time they took 20 min for 6 wings when they told me it was gonna be 5min only writing this review cause the girl that came to bring the wings literally just tossed the bag in front of me on the table while we were eating came of rude. didnt get her name but she was wearing glasses. Everyone at the table was in shock the way she tossed it, as if she was upset.

Totally average pizza. On par with delivery stuff from the big companies. Nothing stood out to make this pizza sing come back. Gal taking order was nice and she really spoke highly of the za, but my bar is high. 6.1 at best
