"Chronicle also visited Vino Vino in one of the strangest reviews this year. Critic Jessi Devenyns reviewed a Washington state wine media dinner hosted at the restaurant, referencing chef Adam Brick, who had made a newsworthy exit from the restaurant a month before the dinner (he’s going to open a new all-day restaurant named Marinas)." - Erin Russell

We ate here the day before our wedding on a stop on the way to Mt. Rainier and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food, wine, and atmosphere was great, 10/10. Tara and Sylvia were sooo sweet and gave exceptional service. Highly recommend 💛

Google
Came based off of reviews but looks can be deceiving. Disappointed in the selection and lack of attention to detail. Menu is a QR code that lacks any description or real order on menu layout. When looking at wine list / was given a small tablet to look through Google sheets of wine names and locations. Ordered the platter which had partially sliced stale bread and bottle of wine. Eh not worth a visit imo.

Danielle was amazing and certainly helped us fall in love with this place. My wife and I stopped in after passing by for years. We loved the selections and learned about the events and wine tasting on Thursdays. We split a bottle of wine and had the Vino platter and the bacon wrapped dates. All of which paired well and was absolutely divine. This was a great little date experience and you can bet your bottle we will be back! Danielle recommended a great bottle to try and we ended up buying the bottle to go. It felt like a place we can go to for years to come, especially since the celebrate local wineries! Love to support local!

Was hoping for an amazing experience. The staff was very nice, but very slow. The food was good. It took an hour for our appetizer. Great wine selection and awesome love music. The restaurant is very loud and it was hard to have a conversation.

Come here for the wine, don’t come here for the food. Service was amazing, and very friendly. If I could give front service more stars I would. Unfortunately the food was too overpriced for the quality. I got a steak stew and it was underwhelming at best, runny, and chock full of onions. The flavor was literally an onion soup with potatoes and meat. I’d expect for a $16 cup of soup I’d have some more complexity, like a red wine base, additional veggies, and an offering of cheese on top (considering we’re at a wine bar). Also, unlike other reviews, the space was fully occupied and very loud and echoey. Not a cozy or comfortable ambiance for a wine bar - I was needing to raise my voice to have a decent conversation.

Hands down, one of the best tasting Italian food I have ever had. We came to Washington to celebrate my partner birthday and ended up having his birthday dinner here. The best choice we made. There were some down sides, it seemed to be under staffed which did affect some parts of our dining experience but, the staff that was there was beyond friendly and inviting to us. The food speaks for itself. When I tell you, who ever the chef was that night did an OUTSTANDING JOB! full of flavor, you can tell who ever prepared it really enjoys what they do because the was like no other Italian restaurant I’ve been to. If we stayed longer I would have definitely came back for more. I got the creamy shrimp Linguine and added sausage to it! OMG!! I can’t give enough praises for how good it was. Thank you for the wonderful food! I will be coming back for more one day.

Google
Cant comment much on the Vino as we only came for appetizers and a glass after work. Not unexpected for the area, but the food was fairly bland, small portioned, and fairly expensive. Service was consistent, and the location is nice enough for a cookie cutter mall set up. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Came in with my partner on a Monday afternoon for early dinner, the servers were very attentive and quickly cleaned up a table outside and seated us. We ordered a bottle of their recommended Structure vognior wine which was fruity and delicious. We also got the beet salad, fish tacos and chicken pesto Flatbread. The best salad was delicious but wished the portion was bigger. The fish unfortunately was over seasoned, and the Flatbread was on the dry side, could've used a lot more sauce. Overall, the service and ambience was very friendly and welcome, and the food was casual and ok. Good place to chill in the shade with a bottle of white.

Yelp
Considering I've been here four times in the last eight days, tells you everything you need to know. The food is amazing and there are a handful of gluten-free options. My favorites are the brussels sprouts and pear vinaigrette salad. Anytime I go to a restaurant that has brussels sprout appetizers, I order it and these are the best by far that I've ever had... which means I have ordered these four different times and they are all consistently perfect. Brussels sprouts are cooked perfectly in that they are not too under or overdone. The bacon in it is generous and high-quality with no fat. No fat. Read that a few times. And then the Apple they put in with the other spices just put it over the top. And the amount of balsamic they put on top is the perfect amount. It's also a very generous serving. I love the feel of the restaurant. It's cozy based on the size and just the overall set up and ambience but still has all the modernness of a great wine restaurant. It's a space that actually feels good to be in All the staff is super friendly and know their products extremely well, including the food. They also know dietary restrictions well including cross-contamination etc. I feel very safe eating here I've been to some restaurants literally over 100 times and they still don't make any attempt at acknowledging that I've been there before or that I look familiar or anything. This is my fourth time and they already know me by name and my favorite meals . Tara is a server that obviously loves her job and makes everyone feel welcome...kind of like a friend she already knows. She helps make it a great experience In terms of parking, some people have stated that parking in this area can be tough. But there is a huge parking garage right behind this restaurant and it's only two stores away. So it seems pretty easy to me and I have come at prime dining times. So be sure to come and check it out but if it gets to be so popular that I can't get in anymore, just let me skip in line :). Tell them Hannah sent you!!

Nora J.

Yelp
They have a decent selection of wine and food. My friend and I decided to split the blackberry flatbread. It was cold and flavorless. The service was decent. The waitress took my glass that still had a few sips in it and was kinda shocked she didn't ask me if I was done and walked away fast. Other than that, the staff was friendly. They have lots of seating. Not sure if I'd come back

Nicole L.

Yelp
Great selection of wines and the snacks to accompany the wine were great too! We will be back.

Max K.

Yelp
I really love this place. Everyone here is so nice and warm and welcoming. The ambiance is fantastic. It's the perfect for anything between meeting a friend for a drink and a date night! I have tried a few of the different wines by the glass have been really impressed with each! So far my favs are the Argentine Malbec, Cab Franc from Washington, and the Mark Ryan GSM. I think what makes this place go from great to our ideal date spot is the fact that they also have awesome food. My favorite is the creamy shrimp linguine. I like to add sausage to it as well for extra protein. It's my girlfriend's favorite restaurant and it's quickly becoming mine as well!

Christine S.

Yelp
Wanted to give this place five stars because the food was delicious, but since they revamped the service has gone down hill. Ordered our drinks and food at the same time. Was asked if we would like our truffle popcorn before our food came out. Two tables who were seated after us received their drinks before us. What I ordered wasn't available at the moment and I was offered another option. Was charged for the other option. Popcorn didn't come out til after the food. Even though other tables were getting their popcorn right away. Very disappointed and it wasn't even that busy. Maybe two four tops and a couple two tops and a group of people in the private dining area were doing a wine tasting. Might take a moment before I return.

Sojin T.

Yelp
A Landing favorite. Great food and gesta atmosphere! The staff is friendly this place is especially great in the warmer months for the patio.

Maïkha J.

Yelp
So glad this place has opened back up! It's a cozy spot that has both restaurant and bar seating. On a Sat night they have live music and we were serenaded by a guitarist while drinking wine. I recommend the meat ball appetizer. The artichoke dip left something to be desired. I love that they offer weekly wine tastings so I'll definitely be back!

S L.

Yelp
First time trying this place. The place is decent size with high ceiling and it was kind of noisy but we could still hear each other mostly. The wine list was extensive with list choices from Oregon. Wa, California and international. We asked our server to pick two red blends for us in the mid range and she did pick two that we all enjoyed. So I am glad about that. She had other tables but was attentive enough. We had various food items: charcuterie plate, bruschetta, salmon, shrimp linguine, beef stew and beef stroganoff. Overall I would say the quality was good and it had an extensive menu. I didn't think it was cheap since it came to about 350 (before tip) for 6 people with 2 bottles of wine but it was good if you have a group that want to try some wine and big menu. Would I be back? Definitely because I am a wine girl!

Seth J.

Yelp
I LOVE their beef stroganoff!! They have great cooks here and use fresh ingredients. Kinda was a hidden gem I just figured out. I always thought it was just a wine tasting room only. Definitely a great place if you like wine! But, I had no clue they really sold food. My wife and I went there and the food was awesome! We definitely will be back!

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Great food and staff. A bit noisy but otherwise we enjoyed it very much. It was a Sunday and wasn't too busy; if it had been busier, it might have been a bit too loud.

Carrie M.

Yelp
Great little place to pop in for a glass of wine. Every time I've been in there the service has been nice. Great selection of wines and appetizers.

KT E.

Yelp
This place is a super casual spot to grab some wine or beer and enjoy GREAT food! The server mentioned it gets packed around dinner time, but when we went for a late lunch, there wasn't a wait. I think this is going to become my favorite restaurant.

Brianna R.

Yelp
My husband and I were BIG fans of Vino at the Landing, and have been active Wine Club Members for years. But since the reopening we've had two back to back terrible experiences with the blonde hostess. She is extremely cold and unfriendly, and doesn't seem to have any experience in the hospitality field. We've left both times feeling unwelcome and discouraged based on our interactions with her. Also make sure to make a "reservation" this is their default request, and they most likely won't accommodate your group even if the restaurant is completely open.

Jill B.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, one for an event and the rest of the time stopping by for a drink or two with friends. The wine is delicious. Getting a glass or a bottle to share is a great way to enjoy your time here. I've had a bottle of a sparkling rose that is just so good we went back and got it again. The meat and cheese panini is also delicious and the chips on the side are a great pairing with wine surprisingly. The employees are very nice! We had a great time one Friday evening and I was impressed with the staff. When I attended for an event, I was less impressed. We had a long wait to even place an initial order and had to fill our own waters-we just needed them to tell us to fill it ourselves to make it a little more pleasant. Everyone loves the truffle popcorn here too!

Michele G.

Yelp
Love, love this place! When in town this is where we always end up. Great selection of wines and wonderful food! Customer service was friendly and attentive!

Staci F.

Yelp
Been here several times and food/service are always consistent! Amazing wine selection and tasty food. This review we didn't have a reservation so we were sat at the bar. It was quite busy for a weeknight and if we wanted a table we would have to wait. We had the mushroom bruschetta, tomato bruschetta, salmon crostini, and margarita flatbread. All were SO delicious and would recommend everything. I didn't think much of the mushroom bruschetta, but when I tried it I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was! We also saw someone eating the Raspberry Prosecco parfait so we had to try. This was a perfect serving as it was light and not too much and filling. Highly recommend this place for a night out for good food and drinks!

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Staff was friendly, wines tasty and the atmosphere was chill. We stopped in after dinner to enjoy a nightcap and were not disappointed.

Rachel P.

Yelp
The gals and I met for dinner and drinks last week. We love the beef stroganoff so we had that for dinner. Wine was good. When I sat down and ordered a brie wedge with crackers the brie was a bit cold and sad looking but that's not a deal breaker- I'll still eat it. I feel like prices have gone up a good amount but service was super good too.

Terri A.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my first experience here! Variety of wines and a rather large menu. Had a cheese plate and a flatbread. Nice size portions and quality ingredients. Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable environment with a mix of high and low tables. Glad I tried it!

Ropsonna V.

Yelp
Good service, good wine and ambiance. Good place for a first date.Food isn't bad considering it's a place e to go for wine.

Hannah M.

Yelp
Great food, wine, service and overall vibe here but I have one complaint: no changing stations in the restrooms! The individual bathrooms are definitely big enough for there to be at least one with a changing station...I don't think that is asking too much :) it's 2024 and the babies are out and about!!

Katlyn S.

Yelp
Food was pretty good nice open space good for small groups, lots of nice wine options. Would like more food options and the ventilation needs to be addressed I had to leave early because it was so smoky from the cooking.

Emily H.

Yelp
Wow. I can't believe I've forgotten to write about this place. I've been here probably once a month for the past 6 months. It's fantastic. I've come here alone, for dinner with my kid, and on a date. This place is kind of perfect for every occasion. They have an outside seating area and lots of seating indoors. Notables: 3oz wine pours so you can try a bunch. Great variety in the menu and I've enjoyed everything I've had here so far. Today we got the salmon crostini, tomato soup pear salad, and steak tacos to share. Then our lovely server recommended a great red wine so we got that. Lots of variety. They have soups, salads, tacos, pasta, paninis, wraps and flat breads. they also have beer and wine and non alcoholic beverages.

Jenny T.

Yelp
The staff wasn't overly friendly but this was the perfect place to have dinner on a late Thursday night after picking our friends up at the airport. The ceviche was really good as was the Ahi salad. Both tasted fresh and light. I also love that I was able to get a 3 ounce pour of rosé. Really a nice touch when you're the designated driver.

Vivian H.

Yelp
My best friend and I love eating here on any and every occasion. Our favorites are the Steak Stroganoff, Sausage & Shrimp Penne, Shrimp Tacos, and the White Truffle Popcorn as an appetizer. You can easily make reservations in advance, which is great because the restaurant can get busy with large parties. Vino, aptly named, has an extensive collection of wines for you to order in a single glass or as a combination of flights. They even have a wine club that you can join along with events on certain nights. My only caveat is the price of dishes. Take advantage of the Happy Hour Menu to try new dishes!

Karen W.

Yelp
Excellent in all ways, but a bit noisy. Doesn't matter as food and wine are fantastic.

Nneka I.

Yelp
We hosted a baby shower in The Barrel Room. The staff were fantastic and extremely accommodating. The food was amazing. Everything was on time. We are so grateful to the owner, Rick, and all who assisted in making the day special. We could not have asked for a better experience at Vino At the Landing.

Drew D.

Yelp
Cute place! Got to sit outside on a rare nice day and it was absolutely perfect. Delicious food, great wine options, and the ambiance was great overall. The women who helped us were super friendly as well!

Loretta A.

Yelp
The staff makes Vino @ The Landing special. I also love their wine section because they bring in many different varietals. A very fun place to spend an afternoon. Ret

Barth P.

Yelp
Good wine, fantastic service, and excellent food! Great atmosphere to meet friends and business colleagues.

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! This place is wonderful! My husband and I were just in the mood for some wine and light apps. Decided to check this place out due to the name-since thats exactly what we were looking for ;) Came in on a Sunday night, we were immediately seated. The plan wa about 75% full. Love the layout of the place, really cute! Our server was quick and sweet-cant ask for anything more. We both got our own wine flight. Good sized pours! We also got the Smoked Salmon Crostini and the Vino platter. I loved the Smoked Salmon Crostini! And the vino platter was fun, but didn't wow me. We will definitely be back!

Shanelle S.

Yelp
Took my sister and brother-in-law here before they flew back to Hawaii and we all enjoyed it. The food and wine was great, so was the service. We decided to get a few appetizers to munch on and ended up trying the smoked salmon crostini, mushroom bruschetta, and the vino platter. Everything was delicious and went perfectly with the white wine! It was my first time and I will be back for sure to try more items on the menu.

Leah R.

Yelp
My favorite thing here is the tomato bruschetta. Delicious! Many options for wine but some excellent food choices for non drinkers.

Cynthia T.

Yelp
We love wine tasting Thursdays at Vino. It has been a while since we have been able to go, erhem Covid, but we finally made it back! Vino food quality and the tasting experience has not changed. You get to have local winery folks talk you through the tasting, chat them up with questions and hear about what makes each wine special. Vino offers a wonderful selection of appetizers and full entrees to go with your tasting. Always a fun and yummy way to try new wineries without having to make the trek to Woodinville or eastern WA.

Chaeji K.

Yelp
First off, I super appreciate how they adjusted to the new no dine in order. They have an outdoor seating area with string lights, tent, and heaters for those who don't do take-out. The food is also great! Recommend their garlic shrimp pasta if you want some warm broth with your food. :) but the best part was our server/host. She was so kind and accommodating that it really added to our overall experience! Overall, highly recommend. I'll be back for more wine!

Nave B.

Yelp
Terrible service and food. The staff have no clue what's on the menu or how to serve. Charged us for soup after saying it was included! Didn't tip and won't be back! Menu is paperless and no wifi password provided. Worst place ever.

Megan M.

Yelp
Love the Washington red wine flight! Food is good too! Outdoor and indoor seating. Nice staff

Lauren P.

Yelp
I've wanted to go to Vino At The Landing for literally years now... I've gone to their sister location, Red's Wine Bar, (which is at Kent Station) so I'm glad I can say I've checked out both! We walked in on a Thursday night and it was super busy! Come to find, it's "Tasting Night" and they were featuring Cedar River Cellars, a local winery based in Renton. I thought that was pretty cool, because I'd never heard of that winery before and I've been to the Cedar River area plenty of times. Our waiter was nice and wasn't pushy on sales. We mentioned we were going to buy a bottle for ourselves and a gift for someone else, and he let us decide on our own accord. We asked to sample the rosé featured on the chalkboard for our family member's gift, and he brought us a good sized sample. The California (I think that was the name?) was the one we went for for the gift purchase. It was great and the perfect choice for this upcoming heat! Personally, we went with a bottle of the Cedar River wine, and it was actually really good! Since it was tasting night, the bottles were 10% off which gave us a nice discount that we weren't aware of at first. Before coming here, I had no idea that they had a full-fledged menu. I was expecting tapas/light bites only, but no, there's more! I'm talking FULL MEALS - Beef Stew, Steak Stroganoff, Meatball Linguini, Seared Ahi Tuna Tacos were just a few that caught my eye. There were so many options that sounded really tasty! I definitely want to come back for a full dinner date and not just for a quick stop. The dinner options sounded exceptional and I'd love to be there on another tasting night. * The only reason for the docking of a star is because the menus are wild confusing - some of the wines didn't show glass price, and we asked if the wine menus ever change to show their full inventory and we were told no, and that was it? So I don't know if they just showcase one type of winery a day, or how that part works. Looking to come back to figure that out though. :-)

Edward S.

Yelp
White truffle popcorn. They have perhaps the best popcorn I have ever eaten and the presentation is perfect. Vino at the Landing is worth visiting just for the wine flights, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I started with the 12th Man Flight (an appropriate name since the Seahawks practices are near the landing). It was a good mix of reds and I liked the stand that they served them in. This is definitely worth a try. In addition to the wonderful platform, we ordered the Vino platter of meat and cheese. This came with a basket of crackers and bread. This was OK. The meats were nothing special, although I liked the cheese more. I liked the assortment of grains and the fact that it also came with oil and vinegar to dip the bread. I will be back and would like to try more of the food--but will absolutely get the popcorn again.

Gina C.

Yelp
This place was busy but I was seated right away for a Friday night. Really cute ambience. The menu is good for dinner or for sharing some snacks. Service was quick and wine was delicious. Note: they have beer, cider and wine. No liquor. Had a flatbread and the tomatoe bruschetta. Both were super tasty. Perfect amount to share between two people. This is a great date spot.

Susan W.

Yelp
A couple of friends from out of town were visiting, and craving Italian food, so on a whim, we decided to go to Vino. The food was simple, probably not very authentic, but quite delicious. My friends ordered chicken wraps. My husband ordered shrimp tacos, and I ordered the garlic shrimp pasta. My only complaint was that my pasta was floating in a broth, which confused me as to whether this was a soup or a pasta dish. It was delicious all the same and everyone finished their plate.

Tingting W.

Yelp
I truly love coming here for happy hour! Their house wines are $6 per glass during HH!! I always get the merlot, it tastes pretty yummy. Also my favorite food item during happy hour is their bruschetta. It is covered in pesto and vinegar, perfectly balanced. I have had their artichoke dip and hummus before and it's alright, therefore the 4 stars. If you are in the Renton area and love wine, come here!

K Mokihana B.

Yelp
place to go for wine not food! frozen salmon used for the entrèe; you know it's bad when the rice taste better than the protein!! the beef stew gravy needs less wine and more love! and the chocolate brownie a la mode tasted a few days old like they left it on the counter in an open counter to absorb all the environment had to offer and more!! the wine and service was five star though!!

Isabel D.

Yelp
Spent NYE here. Enjoyed their red wine flight and bought a bottle from that flight. We enjoyed the wine cheese platter which was delicious but could have also used some jam to add more depth to the cheese and wine combo. The waitress was very attentive and checked on us often despite being busy for NYE. Unfortunately the NYE countdown got messed up and in the middle of countdown they shouted HAPPY NEW YEAR which was confusing. No TV or projection for watching Space Needle fireworks

Troy I.

Yelp
Vino is a must go, if you come to the landing. It's not just a wine bar. Food is amazing, chef is Guatemalan and the flavor is unmatched. Try the flank tacos with extra hot sauce on the side. Delicious. There are events at least once per week, in addition to wine education classes every 4th Monday of every month. A gem in Renton!

Brenda B.

Yelp
Consistent !! Service is excellent, there are many wine varieties to choose . Snacks, appetizers spot on!

Bo P.

Yelp
Tucked in the corner of The Landing is this little gem. I remember going to Vino when it had just opened up, and the atmosphere and food back then is as good as it is today. I love the fact that they're consistent in service, atmosphere, and food. I love their creamy shrimp pasta and it's delicious every single time I get it. I went there recently again with my parents to casually celebrate my birthday, and the waitress was kind enough to offer us a free dessert. I ordered the raspberry parfait and it was delicious. We inhaled it. Great place; great people. I recommend coming in when they have live musicians. Great times. But take note -- they get pretty packed in there. Expect wait times, esp on a weekend.

Ms. A.

Yelp
I came in couple weeks ago with my friend and I had a good time. I ordered chicken penne with extra sauce and my pasta cooked perfectly.

James R.

Yelp
A great wine bar located at The Landing in Renton. They have a fantastic selection, and the entire staff is very knowledgeable about what they sell. The food menu is very good, and they occasionally have great specials. On top of everything else, they hold special events such as tastings on a regular basis. A great place to unwind!!
