"The art of glaring at people while drinking martinis was invented at airports, so we would be remiss if we didn’t include a place at LAX. While there’s no shortage of spots to pick up a strong martini in the “horseshoe of death,” The Wine Bar in terminal 6 is a go-to of ours. This relatively affordable bar (for an airport) is located right off the main concourse and is our favorite place in the world to drink $14 martinis filled with pear puree that prove that flying sober is—quite literally—for the birds." - brant cox

I can't say anything about the food or the service, or the prices, but I do like the decor! Looks like a cool place to grab a drink!

Was actually impressed. Cool vibe, discrete music, fast service and we'll made dishes. Exceptional, no, but for an airport a great upgrade compared to what else is usually available. Had the burratta and the vegetarian sandwich and both were good. The star was the burratta which was a large portion, fresh vegetables, soft bread and well seasoned. The vegetarian sandwich was tasty. On the wine, order by the glass, the flights are very small pours.

Probably the best place in LAX for a pit stop. Deducted 1 star for serving greek salad without feta as standard and $8 coffee (! is that normal?)

Nice place to sample wines from around the world whilewaitimg for a flight. Richard was a great host and server. And we had the charcuterie board, which was tasty and the just the right amount for tasting for our party of five.

Great alternative to airport food and international wines with good prices! Option of wine tasting as well!

I needed to eat while waiting for a flight and most of the places in my terminal were closed. Vino Volo was open and serving so I went there. Not much of a wine drinker so was pleased to see a couple of beers on the menu. I really enjoyed the Pilsner and my grilled ham and gruyere sandwich was pretty good for the absolutely ridiculous price I was charged. Here’s the breakdown: Being open +1 star; really good beer +1 star; tasty sandwich +1 star; super friendly staff +1 star.

Very nice experience considering you are at the airport. We got A charcuterie board, Cheese flatbread, burratta appetizer they all were very good. The service was great.

Everything in an airport is expensive, but at least at Vino Volo the quality of the food helps make up for the cost. I had about an hour and a half to pass before my flight so I settled at the counter facing the windows and ordered a white wine tasting and the California Greek Salad. The salad was honestly one of the best salads I have had anywhere! Super fresh ingredients, and a very generous portion. There was an option to add toppings, so I added the goat cheese. I would absolutely eat here again!
