I had the pleasure of being served by Derrick at the wine bar in Philly Airport, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I sat down, Derrick greeted me with a warm and welcoming attitude that made me feel right at home. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list and helped me pick out a fantastic glass of brown Chardonnay that perfectly complemented my meal. His attention to detail and excellent customer service made the experience stand out. Derrick truly went above and beyond, offering great recommendations and keeping the conversation light and fun. If you're passing through Philly Airport, definitely stop by and ask for Derrick—he’ll make your experience unforgettable!

It is a shame this place could be great. We have been to other airport locations..Today this one didn't seem to care. After 30 min when we were done our flights and appetizer we wanted to order another glass and more food. I couldn't find our server and asked another where she was. I had to interrupt him scrolling on his phone. He told me she was on break, the kitchen was closed (at 5pm) and then our wine came in plastic.. ummm pricey place but we decided to splurge after 8hrs delay of our flight... sadly it didnt measure up

I wanted to make sure that I offered up the greatest Thank You I can muster (aside from an industry tip) and let you know that Indy in the PHL airport is a true Rock Star. She effortlessly flows through her 16-22 tables and 12+ bar seats with grace, kindness, and a perception to match none! Thank you Indy, for a wonderful ‘first night out in awhile.’ 🤓

I found this location to be nice and quiet outside of the hustle and bustle of the airport. The food selections were so refreshing compared to your typical sandwiches, french fries, burgers and pub fare that you would find at other locations. The service was attentive but do not make me feel rushed. While the food and beverage is reflective of airport pricing, the quality of the food that I received was so fresh and superior and healthier than other options that I had to write this review. I enjoyed the avocado toast and a Mediterranean plate that was with hummus, feta, olives and tzatziki along with two glasses of very enjoyable wine. Cost with tax and gratuity came to just about $80 for one person but I think it was well worth the money for the food quality and good wine. If I come through Philadelphia again I won't be sure to take pictures.

I have seen many of these in airports but never tried one because they specialize in wine. A friend suggested we try it. Glad we did. Both the wine and food were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. We had brie prosciutto and chicken pesto sandwiches, greek salad, cheese pizza, and goat cheese pizza. Friendly staff though only one person was working when we arrived. He managed the bar, tables, and kitchen single-handedly. Wore and changed gloves accordingly. Very impressive. We happened to be the only ones there, a party of 5.

It's the customer service for me!!! When I tell you, if your coming of gate E, the customer service, while drinking a glass of wine is unmatched! Caresses and India's customer service is phenomenal, and definitely made my experience!

Vino Volo is always my favorite airport bar. Service at this location was great! Remember to download the app and join the rewards program.

Google
We came here intending to spend the duration of our four hour layover with several glasses of wine and a few small plates. Unfortunately our server was so incredibly rude and disinterested that we chose to move elsewhere instead. Not a single ‘you’re welcome’, just ‘yup’ muttered under her breath when she took our orders and delivered our wine. Sat behind the bar on her phone for the duration of our visit (18:00-18:30, Sat 8th March, 2025). The wine was fine, server was not.

Yelp
I had a great experience when I was awaiting my flight last week (12/17). Adam was my server and was very friendly and helpful. I also met two of the GMs / executives - one named Derrick. I loved the amuse bouche (great portion size likely because it was very slow) and the loyalty taste. I opted for the Cabeca de Toiro as was suggested. Delicious. It was clean and well laid out for a comfortable experience.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience at Vino Volo during my layover in Philadelphia airport. The server was excellent and attentive and the sandwich was delicious. The food is kind of "overpriced" as expected but I didn't mind. Clean restaurant with warm ambiance. I would eat here again

Yelp
It was super slow and we only ordered wine. The server was nice but he was gone most of the time. I guess if you gotta go, you gotta go!

Yelp
No idea why this hidden gem isn't coming in at 5 Star but it's a wonderful spot off the beaten path away from the chaos. Perfect to pull up a chair, open your laptop and get some work done over a glass of wine and a bite. Relax! Let Derrick (manager) and his staff help. He is such an asset! They are over the top service and truly want you to be happy!! Trust me I'm fussy!

Yelp
was a great spot to spend my 2 hour delay in. Spacious, quiet, and cozy. The server behind the bar took my order immediately and started working to fill it. I got a delicious wine flight (3 wine glasses) for $18

Yelp
How things have declined under new management! I'm speaking strictly of this location, the menu, and quality of the food. The two servers who waited on me were great. I've been to this location a few times in the past, and everything was lovely. Even as recent as Sep 2024, things were up to the high standards to which I hold Vino Volo. Upon arrival, I was immediately told that they did not have everything that was on the menu. No problem, as my "go to" is the cheese plate. I recalled how delicious the cheeses were during past visits to this and other locations. I expected what anyone would expect to be served: perhaps a small wedge of brie, some aged Gouda, etc. There are so many wonderful cheeses out there, and they pair wonderfully with wine. What came out of the kitchen was not only sub-par and offensive to me, but also an embarrassment to any decent wine bar. The plate contained one mound of cheap, grocery-store Swiss and another mound of ordinary cheddar, both in cubes. It looked like someone went to a grocery store (not a high-end one), purchased cubed Swiss and cheddar and dumped them onto a plate. The mini toast / crisps (or whatever they were) appeared burnt. I'm not super picky, and love all kinds of cheeses, but really??? The cheapo Swiss at the grocery store is one of the few that I find doesn't taste like much - it lacks the lovely flavor/ aroma of a more expensive Swiss, e.g., Gruyere, Raclette, or any of the other lovely Swiss cheeses out there. Surely someone is joking with me. I apologized to the server and said "I can't eat this". I wondered how the hell the management (or whoever makes the menu choices) could charge wine bar prices for bargain grocery cheese. It's actually ridiculous, and I can laugh about it now. However after two days of business meetings and hours to kill at the airport before my long flight home, I was beyond disappointed. I only wish I had taken a photo before they removed the plate from my table. The servers confirmed that this change in food results from the change in management. Having said all of this, I must admit that the servers, who were apologetic and very understanding about my reaction to the food, were professional and attentive. I tipped as if they had not taken the cheese plate off my bill. They deserved it and more. I tried the loyalty "taste", which was not bad, and I had the tiny bubbles flight. I was very happy with the wines. Now I just pray that this is the only location whose management seems to have lost touch with what customers expect from a wine bar, especially those of us who are accustomed to a higher standard at any Vino Volo. It's about quality... the full experience...forgetting you're at an airport... Not at this PHL location. I hope things improve, but I am not sure I'd visit this location again, unless maybe I am desperate for a nice glass of wine. I'll sit and eat, savor the wine pairing, elsewhere.

Yelp
Mike and Careese are awesome!! Their service is so personable, friendly and knowledgeable! I love the Mediterranean plate with the Banshee Pinot Noir, which was excellent. Bravo to these two employees, give them points and a raise!!

Yelp
What an excellent implementation of a Vino Volo. I've been to them at other airports and this is one of the best ones as far as space. It looks like they expanded a bit out of their space and added some tables to the side. It's nice to sit in the open rather than inside their "store". It wasn't overly crowded but I can see it getting cramped if a lot of people are there. This is the first airport place I've been where I've seen the charging "brick" with multiple USB outlets and a regular AC jack. We asked the waiter for it and were able to charge our phones. What else? Oh yeah! The wine! Reds were the choice of the day so we chose two of the different red flights. I'm no wino, so I appreciated the presentation of the wine glasses with an explanation of the things you should be tasting (fruit, cocoa, cinnamon, spices) as well as some basic categorization of the wine (Robust, Light, etc.). If you're not sure, ask the waitstaff as they seem pretty knowledgeable and can help you decide. The flights are a great way to try different wines . You can even buy bottles to go if you'd like. This was everything I expected a wine bar at an airport to be, plus great service and charging!

Yelp
You had me at wine flights! Just finishing up the security checkpoint and I see this wine place, had lots of time to kill so wanted to check it out and try some wine. They are known for their wine flights and they also sell retail wine for you to take with or drink there. BEWARE!!! What I found crazy tho... was that if you ordered a bottle and drank it there, they charge you $12 for them to uncork it. Whyyyy... 2 glasses basically equaled that bottle but for $12 service fee... UGH wish that wasn't so. But it was. Anyways... we still stayed a had a glass each and also ordered a cheese plate. Had the Tempranillo which was good and I did like that they gave Tasting notes to make it feel like a real wine tasting. The cheese plate was also good, came with toast, nuts and a sort of jam. Service is great and I did like having this option instead of your usual fast food service that you find at the airport. The menu had lots of other great options for food too so definitely something to check out! If I'm at this terminal again, I would most likely stop here for a flight or a glass while I wait for my flight!

Yelp
Sat there for 20 mins while the server sat there in front of the camera and never greeted me. Finally had to say hello loudly for her to come out. Her first words were, the kitchen is closed. It was 7:20ish, and I just wanted a glass of wine before my flight. I asked if I could get wine, she said, Yeah. I asked for a glass of Cade, which is $41, but asked if the bottle was opened recently, and she just said, nah. Red doesn't do well on the shelf and for $41 a glass, it didn't seem reasonable. So I said nevermind and said the service was not good, but thank you. She respond, no it wasn't, how? I explained my wait, as she had watched me on camera there and was rude.To which she kept saying, no it wasnt. I fly a lot, by far the rudest service.

Yelp
Mediocre food. Terrible service. Can't comment on the wine or wine prices. Tried to use two small tables so I could make room for my food and laptop and was rudely told they needed the table for other patrons since I wasn't ordering wine. The entire time I was there, there were at least 5 of these tables open. Also, the only beverages they have are wine/beer and bottled water. Skip this one.

Yelp
I was at the airport a few days back and they told me there was an issue with their credit card machine but they would try to run it. They swiped multiple times and had my card forever and then told me I needed to pay cash since it wasn't working. I told them it hit my card and they said it was pending and would drop. They would not give me a voided receipt. I ended up paying cash since I had a flight to catch. I just checked my account and I have multiple charges that have cleared for all different amounts even though I bought one thing and had one transaction. So frustrating!

Yelp
My brie sandwich with pastrami was good, but not amazing. I liked the cornichon sides. My wine flight was fun, with the descriptions on the paper of what I was having. It's a nice classy stop in the airport. Not crowded and I could choose my seat immediately

Yelp
Nobody working. 6pm. Sign says "sit yourself". Sat down, waited 25 minutes, no one showed up to take the order. Gave up and walked out. As did another party on the next table. What a way to run a business.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice change or pace from your typical junk airport food. My wife had a very nice salad that she enjoyed and thankfully they do have gluten free options. The server was very friendly and we will certainly be back if we are in the area.
google avatar

Azaria P.

Yelp
Great selection of inexpensive and high quality wines to purchase by the glass of bottle. This is a perfect place to stop for a last minute gift. Especially since there is a boutique chocolate stand adjacent. There was only one person working the bar and the kitchen. Due to this food takes a long time to come out. They annoyingly charge a cork fee of $16 if you want to drink a bottle of wine you purchase from them.

Yelp
I stop by this place every time I'm flying out of the Philly airport since it's conveniently located right outside security. Its a bright, cute space and the wine flights are usually a good deal. I recently had a flight of the Spring Whites and an order of the Lentil Soup. The wines were all really great! The Lentil Soup was disappointing as the lentils were hard, the soup lacked flavor and was overwhelmed with tomato paste. Also, even though I know it's in the airport, the portion was extremely small for the price ($11). I enjoyed my wine though so I will continue to come back here, but I'll just skip the Lentil Soup :)

Yelp
Vino Volo offers wine, victuals, and women[1]. Zoomed through PHL security and decided to stop in Vino Volo. Just sit somewhere, and a server will help you. (I chose the bar.) This charming wine bar - even for an airport terminal - has patio and dining room seating. Many diners were on cell phones or notebooks, but all had glasses handy. (It's privately-owned, and there's another PHL location. This one, in Terminal D, has been open since December.) Aside from wine, you can order various small plates. I tried the braised pork tacos ($5, for a half order; full is $9), with "South American spices" (who knows what that is, exactly), served with a fresh cabbage slaw. Tender meat, a spritz of lime added flavor. The corn tortillas a bit doughy for me, but wine made it all better. Wine flights are available so I went for their Mediterranean "Discovery" flight ($12): three glasses came out, each atop a label. I sampled a Spanish Flor d'Englora, Garnacha/Carinera, Montsant (2006) which had a happy, delightful aroma; a Lebanese Massaya, Cinsault/Cabernet, Bekaa Valley (2006); and a pungent Italian Terredora di Paolo, Aglianico, Campania (2007), with a bite. Chatted with helpful bartender Adam, and fellow patrons (Dan and John, passing through, and a local woman). John saw me snapping photos and remarked, "Facebook quality!" to which I answered, "better, actually". Vino Volo provides a temporary refuge from hectic process of travel, and a place to unwind. [1] Okay, there was only one young lady, but I partook in plenty of oenological delights all the same.

Yelp
White wine flight $12.00 - two Californian and one Italian. Very relaxing spot to hang out and watch planes. I also ordered the Duck Spread ($12) which was a duck pate with crostini, olive jam and grilled onions. The serving of duck pâté was huge and my last crostini was piled high! Although you're paying premium prices, for some reason it feels fine since you're getting a classy experience.

Yelp
I was pretty hungry and wouldn't normally come to this place since it's sit down, but my friends were having drinks and we had about an hour to kill. The pasta sounded tasty and I asked the server how long it would take and she said 10 minutes. About 20 minutes later, I got up to about it and she just started entering it into the order system without telling me what happened. I had to ask again how long it'd take and she said 5 minutes. After 10 minutes passed, I asked for it to go. Eventually it came out and we had to pay and leave immediately . It was in a soup container about 12 oz large, was chewy, and overall a joke. I was going to pay $17 for this with tip and tax. Terrible service and I would never eat here again. Go down the terminal and get a sandwich from Subway for a normal price.
google avatar

Mandy R.

Yelp
Another visit in, and more great wine, plus a tasty snack (burrata with crostini and some spicy peppers tonight). The winter wine list isn't as impressive as many others I've seen here, but the French Gamay Noir is yum! This location also offered some great-looking small plates that aren't available elsewhere -- crab cake bites and cheesesteak egg rolls. Adequate service, some comfy armchairs, and electrical outlets (not a lot, but a few) rounded out a good experience. Will come back (again).
google avatar

Yelp
I got to the airport early and my flight was delayed, so I had plenty of time to kill and I stopped into Vino Volo for an early dinner and a quiet place to get some work done. The majority of the tables are tiny, probably only 18" by 30", so my laptop and food barely fit on the table together, but it's manageable. I ordered the Syrah from the World Value Reds list and the pesto flatbread with prosciutto. Both were great, and although the flatbread was small and quite expensive for the size, this is to be expected given that it's airport food. My table was in the middle of the seating area and nowhere near an outlet, but my waiter brought a portable charger to my table, which was an awesome perk. The portable charger worked for my phone charger, but unfortunately not for my 3-pronged laptop charger.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
My favorite airport food joint -- can't beat great sandwiches and great selection of wine. Service is super fast with knowledgeable staff about the wine. Brunello 2005 has been my favorite after trying multiple here. Brie and prosciutto sandwich is much better than most of the airport junk.
google avatar

Chicago G.

Yelp
I have to admit to loving a wine bar in an airport. The wine list is not long, but fun to try a flight. Glasses of wine are truly outrageously priced at $17-$20 for a 5 oz pour. Just makes me grumpy. I had the flatbread with pesto and paid $3 extra for the prosciutto. The flatbread was tasty if a bit soggy. I had to ask 3 times to get a glass of water and the place was nearly empty. A glass of wine and flatbread set me back nearly $40 - yikes. Appreciate the option even though it's completely overpriced.

Yelp
Long layover? Sit down, relax and have a flight of wine. My girlfriend and I love wine and this place has a great selection of it, so while we had a long layover in the Philly airport we decided to stop and drink some. We started with two flights of wine and one order of olives. It was the perfect combination. All the wines were delicious. We even had a full glass after the tastings. Nothing like being a little tipsy in the airport. The experience was perfect. The staff was very friendly as well. I would hang out here next time I am at the Philly airport.

Yelp
I really enjoy the Vino Volvo locations as I travel. At this one I arrived as they were closing on a Friday night. I would have been fine if they had to turn me away. But not this one, a welcome and a glass of Vino! A great Terrasole red , a great ending to my week before the trip home. THANK YOU VINO VOLVO PHILADELPHIA, TERMINAL C. I will always be a patron! Thank you Ronald, fantastic customer service.
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
I like Vino Volo even though I'm not a drinker. I like it that they have healthy choices in the airport, because you know how there're too many fast food chains in the airport. Ive been to Vino Volo in 3 different airports I think, Boston, Austin, and Philadelphia. I've tried their smoked salmon crostini, prosciutto fig sandwich, and chicken salad. All were good. If I'm in a restaurant where they have Vino Volo, I'd definitely stop there for food.
google avatar

Karin O.

Yelp
I stopped in at the Vino Volo near terminal C in the PHL airport. The wine selection was good, but the menu options were limited due to them running out of bread for making any of the sandwich offerings. No worries. I ordered up a Central Coast Pinot Noir and a salad. The service at the bar was excellent, and outlet plugs ran all along the length of the bar for charging up devices while you dined/worked. The wine was very good, the prices were reasonable and the meal service was prompt. I will definitely stop here again the next time I am changing through Philly!
google avatar

Mary Beth B.

Yelp
After a lousy experience getting through security...and nightmare rental car return...I NEEDED a wine bar...and what I got was sassy Liz...funny and really helpful! Vin Volo is actually a reason to fly through Philly!
google avatar

Nellie K.

Yelp
Vino Volo is located in the PHL airport. They have an excellent wine selection and some great, although few, menu choices. You should check the menu first just to make sure that they have something you like. First, what I love about this place is that it's like a tiny oasis in the hustle and bustle of the airport. The chairs are extremely comfortable and the atmosphere inviting, which is so rare for an airport restaurant. They had various flights of wine tastings but I stuck with a single glass of Riesling. I tried the "small" portions of the smoked salmon bites and pork tacos. Both were delicious. The smoked salmon was raw on top of what tasted like a piece of Melba toast with some aioli. The tacos were in corn tortillas, which are far more authentic than the flour kind! If I ever had time to kill in this airport, this is where I'd spend it! Overall a great spot!

Yelp
Stressful flight day. Knew that if I held out and made it to PHL I could find me some vino. Ordered a flight of three CA Kings for 13.00 and if rocked. Ordered small grilled chicken salad with vinaigrette dressing, pine nuts and dried cranberries. Don't forget goat cheese. Should have ordered another flight to taste!!!! The small salad was 6. The three tasting flight was 13. Stick with what they know best. Wine!!! The salad size wasn't the issue. It was the poor pint size piece of chicken smaller than my thumb that was the issue. Had to chase my waiter for my water chaser. Not cool. He basically had a section of five tables. To his defense it is obvious this area is part of Vino Volo but here plops this extra trashy couple who just "wanna hang here" till he finishes his smelly sub from the food court. Nice. Would I come back? Yes. You're traveling. It's stressful. The good options ate healthy with the nutrition content available. Plus, the chairs are super comfy just ask the icky couple fitting next to me. They didn't come for what Vino Volo is best known for..,,,
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Over priced and not that great! Service was long and almost missed my flight. It was like $68 dollars for just okay... Just wait till you get home or at-least get out of the airport.
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
Nice wine selection ( albeit airport pricing) and good selection of tapas. The chacutturie board is well done. Excellent alternative to the jammed in louder places that most frequent.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot! We always stop in on the way out. Wines are great. Excellent cheese plate. Check out the Loyalty program!

Yelp
My favorite place in the Philly airport. Just show them the Vino Volo app and you will receive a free wine sample. Not only do they have outtanding wine but ther food is delicious I love the Burrata and roasted tomato salad as well as their marinated olives. I had a delightful Italian wine flight from the Puglia and Piedmont region for just 15.00. And always a plus to recharge your phone and free WIFI.

Yelp
Wine lovers rejoice! Vino Volo (can I call them "Double V"?) is an oasis in the bustle of Philadelphia International Airport. Ever since hearing about this place, I'd been eager to have an excuse to take a flight, just so I could try VV. The service is awesome. Since I didn't know when the next time we would be in PHL would be, we decided to go the flight route. We had two wine flights, one with a California theme and one with a winter theme. Each came with a helpful informational paper coaster, and the waitress took the time to explain each individual wine. Nice touch! The food was great, and a notch above your typical airport food fare. Since half-sizes were available, we decided to go for them so we could get a wider variety of food. All of the meat was well-cured, definitely feeling like "food to be enjoyed with wine." We went for the braised pork tacos, brie and prosciutto sandwich, and smoked salmon rolls - the salmon was especially delicious, but I enjoyed all of them. Veni vidi vici. Vino Volo. You're gonna love the Double V.

Yelp
Nice quiet place to stop in Phily airport. Great tasting wines and Isaiah provided wonderful service.
google avatar

Yelp
In the mood for a small pours of mediocre, overpriced wines? Got a craving for the saddest cheese plate in the world, complete with slimy meat that'd make a 3am roadside deli feel shamed? Feel like overpaying for olives that probably came from a can? If all of this sounds like a good way to spend your post-TSA free massage time, you're in luck. They have a finely curated list of half-corked wines that have been open for a bare minimum of two days before serving, and a small selection of inappropriately described small food plates, service that definitely makes it seem like an exclusive event (read: your presence is doing them a disservice) and an environment that screams "we won't be here in 3 months" more than your average pop-up.
google avatar

Joe B.

Yelp
I love this concept!! --wine tastings at the airport!! Visiting this wine bar was a real treat and definitely helped pass the time on my 2 hour layover. I was very surprised at the fine caliber of wines they had to offer. The flights are excellent. I tried a 'central coast' flight and each and every one was a hit! Friendly staff, clean area, good stemware, wonderful wine. Definitely looking forward to my next layover - Cheers to Vino Volo!
google avatar

Shannon R.

Yelp
This is my freaking oasis. Cozy chair, glass of wine, free wifi - what more can a lady want when she's got an hour to kill at the airport? I breezed through security today and made a beeline here, only to see it completely empty. A glance at the time...yep, not quite noon. Sigh. I took my shamed self elsewhere for lunch, and was thrilled to see Vino Volo filling up a half hour later. No one wants to be the first person at the wine bar in the airport before noon. Minor criticisms: there needs to be less absurdly priced wine ($30 a glass) and way more mid-range ($10). I had to choose a petite syrah from the three in the "cheapo" section ($9) that definitely could've stood to have more body. But who am I kidding? I'm drinking wine in the airport at noon. Whatever.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
I'm a fan of Vino Volo in general. This particular location has been my campground more often than I'd like due to flight delays at PHL. There is no better place to spend time in the airport while waiting for a flight. The wine selection changes frequently and always offers some gems. The flights are well-chosen and help you better understand different wine varieties. The staff is friendly and helpful for recommendations. The food is tasty--I especially like the chorizo chickpea chili and the chicken sandwich. It is a bit pricy for wine, but the quality exceeds other airport options by so much that I hardly mind. I do wish this location had more seating.
google avatar

Jason P.

Yelp
Wine bars are great. Good wine bars are even better. Even a low-caliber place in an airport would be a blessing, but Vino Volo in Philly airport is at least twice as nice as it needs to be. Clever, knowledgable waitstaff, tasty snacks, and a good variety of tasty, reasonably-priced offerings makes this a must-do. I echo the reviewer who lamented not having this sort of thing during his consulting career; my liver thanks that circumstance, but not my palette.
google avatar

Kate R.

Yelp
So yes, it's in an airport. But it's surprisingly good for what it is. + Clean, modern design + Spacious, you're not sitting on top of the next person + Professional staff + Thoughtful menu - hands-down the best option for eating, drinking, and/or killing time in the PHL Terminal D * Skip the pork tacos - total boredom * Go straight to the brie & prosciutto sandwich - heaven in your mouth - minus one star for a complete lack of moderately-priced full-bodied reds - the cheapest cabernet was $15. I'm about to board a giant bus with wings and pack myself into the sardined-economy section, clearly I am made of sensibility and not money.
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
Headline: poor service (like uncomfortably so) and really high prices - as in the most glasses are around $12-14 dollars. Come on - this is an airport bar in between 2 terminals facing the security line. It sucks, because I love wine and hate flying so this would be perfect. Another complaint- for those of us who like to feel like effervescent pixies while drinking you will be disappointed to learn there are no bubbly wines. Again, come on peeps, if I can make that with my soda stream you can do that AT YOUR WINE BAR. So on the plus side, I would have given this place only 2 stars save for the spacious seating, relatively reasonable good food options, and the free wifi. If, like me, you are so paralyzed with dread thinking about your flight that exorbitant prices and subpar service won't phase you this is your spot.

Yelp
I was pretty stressed out from some delayed flights when I strolled past Vino Volo. I passed it up and then came back because it just looked so relaxing. I stopped in for about an hour. I got the "Old World Whites" flight which was lovely. I paired it with the brie and prosciutto sandwich (wow!) and ended with the Chocolate Cheesecake Duo. It came to a little under $30, which I thought was plenty reasonable for the lovely atmosphere and the good attitude I came out with. I highly recommend! I almost bought a bottle (bottles are 4x the glass price, btw), but I didn't quite have the money... But that option is available too, if you just fall in love with one.

Yelp
Rolled up to the bar with 15 minutes before my flight. No one waiting & the waitress refused to pour a glass of wine cuz it wasn't the right glass.' She said Your gonna have to wait until the 'right' glasses get to the bar, that way I know how much to pour.' When asking her if I could give some constructive feedback to her manager about keeping a measuring device behind the bar to increase sales, her reply was, 'I'm not the owner I don't make the rules, but if I was.. The wine would be free and I'd be pouring it down your throats.' I understand that people in airports can be in a rush. But if you chose to serve the public being sarcastic and rude to customers is no way to represent yourself or the company you work for. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Yelp
Matt and I usually get to the airport with tons of time to spare, so recently before we boarded our plane to Pittsburgh, we stopped at Vino Volo for a quick drink and bite to eat. This wine bar chain currently has locations in about 10 airports in the U.S. and it's a welcome change to the overwhelming fast food options you usually get. There is an impressive, albeit small, wine list with some fun flight options. (Heh, get it?) Matt's artisan cured meats (small size for $8) were yummy but really just made him more hungry for a real dinner. My brie & prosciutto sandwich (small size for $6) was surprisingly tasty. The brie was slightly melted and warm and the fig spread was ooey and gooey (in a good way). It's nice to have Vino Volo in the Philly airport, because when we were early in Pittsburgh coming home, we sat in a Friday's. Not as nice.

Yelp
STOP. Stop here if you would like a relaxing or engaging experience while waiting for you flight at Philadelphia International Airport. Have a wine flight for that red-eye and perhaps the pork tacos. The chicken samy is "meh" as is the vanilla bean cheescake but the wines are great and much attention has been paid to giving you info on what you are having. The mixed greens for five bucks is a great way to get salad greens outside of other chains. If they had Italian espresso, well- I would stay longer. Perhaps it is best if they don't. Servers are always polite and a step above what one finds at airports. The big guy we had with a mustache and beard was a dream.

Yelp
This is a smaller Vino Volo but for me, smaller meant more individual service from the bartender and good wine conversation. Really nice way to kick off a flight - with a flight :)
