"A classic Turin restaurant that has been in business for almost 30 years; It remains untouched by modern trends, both in its old-fashioned dining room (it is called Vintage, after all!) overseen by owner Umberto Chiodi Latini, whose strong character makes him a perfect, traditional maître d', and in its simple cuisine, which is prepared using top-quality ingredients. The menu features famous Piedmontese specialities, such as vitello tonnato and tajarin pasta, as well as a few vegetarian dishes and plenty of fish options. The “zuppetta 5.0” is particularly delicious, served with a bouillabaisse-style soup in the middle of the plate surrounded by raw fish. Although the wine list is not extensive, it boasts some interesting vertical labels from wineries in the Langhe and elsewhere." - Michelin Inspector

The least expensive Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy

"Located on Turin’s Piazza Solferino, the welcoming dining room with large windows lets guests watch the city flow by while Umberto Chiodi Latini plays the perfect host with attentive presence, valued advice, and charming anecdotes. Every menu is a deep dive into Piedmont’s authenticity, subtly lifted by Mediterranean influences; at lunch, the winning formula offers a choice of two meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Signature dishes on the à la carte include the Piccola Sinestesia of vegetables with a citronnette and honey sauce—a homage to Alain Passard—and a shrimp and calamari salad with rocket and lemon zest." - Le Guide MICHELIN

My expectations were a bit high as I know that it’s a Michelin star restaurant. We did the lunch service and tried the ragu. Twas delicious for sure with fresh pasta, for its price twas fair too, it’s just that I think of all the hype I was expecting for a meal that’s extraordinary. The whole menu was good per se up to the dolce. It just didn’t say, “wow” me.

Not worth neither the Michelin star, nor the 4.3 rating in google maps. Very basic food, a shame to eat it in Italy. Tuna steak (excellent) was served with uncooked store bought spinach. Very good service.

Came here for an anniversary lunch with my wife and we were treated very well. Food was very tasty and thoughtful. I highly recommend this restaurant on anyone’s journey to Torino. Dress for the occasion!

We had the territory menu. The waiters are very kind and helpful. Nice food and price balance. The wines we had were also very nice.

The egg yolk pasta here was maybe the best and most simple pasta I've ever eaten! 40 egg yolks per 1kg of flour which gives it that yellow color. Honestly just come here for that dish alone. They put a little butter on top and some parmesan cheese and that's it! Incredible! The rest of the food was nice and enjoyable, but I couldn't stop thinking about that pasta. The waiters were funny and friendly. Helped to provide a really nice atmosphere to the restaurant. Thanks for a great meal.

If you are in Turin, don’t miss this restaurant. Very warm and attentive service, and the food is incredible. Umberto has created his very own signature style. Every plate is a piece of art and the compositions are surprising to the eye and to the palate. Highly recommended.

Michelin star? LOL Salt shaker on table i can buy for .99 cents in any supermarket filled with cheap salt and rice Carpet on floor? Should be called vintage 1937. Wine list not updated and grossly overpriced for Torino, online menu not actually showing up on paper menu so beware and ask for the lunch special otherwise they won't tell you. Atmosphere is gloomy reminds me of nonna's bad taste in furniture. Need i say more?

The best beef tartare in Turin. The 40 egg yolks pasta was simple yet amazing. Good wine selection and very kind service.
