Fantastic breakfast. Crispy waffle and perfectly ripe avocado and salmon. The fruits were all fresh. Everything beautifully presented. Prices match the quality, i.e a bit high. Treat yourself. Worth it.

If you're a foodie then you will love Violets, the food and staff were wonderful and were even prepared to support the Changing Minds with Pick up a Penny campaig. If you would like to see the video please go to my Facebook page 'Changing Minds with Pick up a Penny'. Cassie was such a good sport, thank you 😊

Start up with the warm welcome then glaze on the loving simplicity of the interior design with natural bright colors. Kick start the menu with cream and marshmallow Luxury Hot Chocolate (Dark Chocolate). Then don't hesitate to order any of the waffle choices, personally I lush the Hollandaise Egg Benedict waffle. It's a Five Star Violet.

I don't do reviews. Ever! Just been out for an evening meal at Violets. The waitresses were lovely. The food was out of this world. Can't wait to tell everyone I know about this place. Still buzzing. If you are a foodie, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Thanks to the brilliant chefs for a great meal.

delicious eggs benedict on a savoury buttermilk waffle! I opted to add avocado. Flat white was the perfect ratio of espresso:milk. Location is perfect. I went lunchtime on a Thursday and it wasn’t too busy at all.

Lovely decor and lovely staff. Went here for a full English breakfast which I couldn't fault portobello mushroom to die for was all spot on, also had a latte as well as my partner did which both were luke warm when we received it. Could of complained I'm sure they would of replaced it. All in all a recommended place in Newcastle for a hearty breakfast.

I had an absolutely delicious maple roasted butternut squash and kale and goat cheese salad here last Monday (Bank Holiday weekend). The menu is fairly priced, it's a cute interior and it's dog friendly. The waitress was also really nice! Lots of tempting-looking sweets and cakes on display as well. It's small so your might have a little bit of a wait but this is a gem tucked away on the Quayside. My husband said his flat white was weak though.
