"Vito’s Tavern was a popular spot for pub food like sliders, burgers, and wings (and some Italian-inspired options), and it functioned as the North End’s de facto sports bar." - Terrence Doyle

"If the abstract paintings of Ted Williams and Rocky Marciano on the walls at Vito’s in the North End don’t clue you into the fact that this is a more elevated take on a sports bar, then the menu featuring things like nachos topped with ground Italian sausage and a Nicoise salad with rare ahi tuna will. Head here when you’re more interested in eating than watching the game." - Dan Secatore

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Great place, good service. Try the burgers and the north end wings 👌🏼

What an incredible sports bar. The food was amazing and large tvs from every seat in the house. Try the wings and crazy Alfredo! Both were amazing. House pinot noir was great.

Rude staff who would not let us sit down despite available seats. When they eventually sat us down they constantly asked us if we wanted another drink every 15 minutes even though we were clearly still enjoying our drinks. After less than an hour they asked us to leave because we hadn't purchased a drink because they needed the table (we were about to buy more drinks but wanted to do this in our own time). We were shocked but did not want to spend any more time in this bad atmosphere where you're only valued if you're spending big bucks. As we left we noticed several available seats and no people waiting for a table. This was annoying as there was no reason to ask us to leave. Disgusting vibe and extremely poorly run with the most unaccommodating, rude and unprofessional staff. Clearly don't understand business and will not return. Only visit this place if you want poor service and rude staff. Clearly a theme occurring of terrible service if you only buy drinks based on other reviews.

Was looking for a typical American food place and this looked just the place. Went on a Wednesday which was half price chicken wing night (on bowls of 10) so we had 2x bowls of 10 wings with different sauces which were awesome, though the pork belly salad was a little disappointing. More like tiny bacon bits. Beer selection was good and staff friendly. Would go here again if I was ever in town.

Top notch bar food. The onion rings were pretty dang tasty. The diablo burger was great and the wings were pretty good too. They don't have the hot wing challenge anymore which was a bummer. Service for a saturday night was kind of rough. Just lots of wait time between servers returning to the table; however it was pretty busy due to march madness and the nice weather, so we werent too annoyed!

After being seated, our waitress asked if we would like drinks. We politely replied asking for water with lemon and after her smile completely disappearing, we shortly received the drinks. That was the last time our waitress acknowledged us even after trying to get her attention for 20-25 minutes. She apparently did not want to serve us because she assumed her tip was not going to be worth the service? We still do not know, but we told the manager and he apologized and that was it, no offer of service or anything. We ended up leaving because it was just awkward that our waitress still wouldn't even look at us. Terrible experience, was looking forward to trying the food, too..

One of my favorite places in Boston! You can't beat the food....fresh and homemade you can really taste the difference. The beer selection is phenomenal and original unlike most of the other places I have been and it's always ice cold. They have daily specials like Taco Tuesdays (their Tacos are the freshest and tastiest I have had) and Wing it Wednesdays (1/2 price wings and an amazing variety) all after 5pm. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting you feel like family when you come in and are treated as such. If you are looking for a place to go that has large portions, homemade top notch food, delicious frosty cold beer (lots of local I may add) and a helpful friendly staff I strongly recommend you check out Vitos!!

Beer prices were reasonable. Friendly staff. Service was a little slow but they were short-handed. Typical sports bar food good for a night out with the guys. Wouldn't hesitate to go back
