Had a great dinner here with family. Food was excellent, and service was even better. Dessert and wine menus were exceptional. Definitely recommend.

Vito's gets an a+ in every category. The food was outstanding. The level of service and attention to detail was outstanding. Chelo was taking care of me. In fact everyone took care of me. They never once acted like they wasn't my server. This is a must visit restaurant. It is absolutely a diamond.

Classic Italian dishes. Great service. Comfortable space. Local fave.

Classic Italian dishes served in a classic Italian restaurant venue. Fish and pasta were cooked perfectly, and the staff was friendly and super efficient. Parking was a bit tricky, as the street parking was limited and the parking lot was not intuitively available.

Wow!! Another hidden gem!! Love this mom and pop family owned business. Had the Vodka pollo!! Yum!!! Perfect!!!

The pasta was great. I loved Vodka alla pollo, Carbonara was good too. The entries are huge, I regret not splitting one for two, even for a small fee they charge.

This kind of experience sets the standard for a walk in lunch. I sat solo in the bar for a quick bite. Manager was kind and attentive. Staff was helpful and observant. Food was fast, HOT (that's important to me) and delicious. Also, my check was closed out quickly (also important to me) so I was able to get in and out with time to spare. Big shout out to the busser who offered to box my food too. Seriously, what a guy! 10/10 for the whole squad.

Yelp
Vito's Trattoria brought me straight back to Sunday dinners at my nonna's house. From the moment I walked in, the place felt familiar -- warm lighting, classic decor, and that unmistakable aroma of garlic, simmering tomatoes, and something good on the stove. I came here on a quiet Thursday evening with my wife, and we ended up staying longer than planned just soaking in the atmosphere. I ordered the Vodka Pollo on a friend's recommendation -- perfectly al dente pasta, creamy sauce with just the right balance of heat and richness, and generous portions of chicken that were tender without being overdone. My wife had the Carbonara, and we ended up sharing plates like we were at home. Everything was beautifully plated -- you can tell someone in the kitchen really cares. Service was impeccable. Our server knew the menu like the back of his hand and had great wine pairing suggestions (we went with a Montepulciano that worked beautifully with both dishes). The staff moved efficiently but never made us feel rushed -- it felt more like being taken care of than just being served. The only minor thing: parking took a bit of circling, but honestly, once you're inisde, you forget about it. For anyone who appreciates honest Italian cooking attention to detail and a place where conversation flows as easily as the wine -- Vito's is the real deal. I'll be back soon with my parents. I have a feeling my dad's going to say: "Tastes just like Calabria".

Yelp
I hoped the food would have tasted better. I chose a margherita pizza (which is simply a cheese pizza here), cheese ravioli, and pasta carbonara. The pizza was thoroughly disappointing. The cheese and crust were bland and it was overly greasy. The carbonara was equally disappointing. I recognize what it was attempting to do, but it failed to deliver. The cheese ravioli was generally good. The marinara sauce and ricotta filling were excellent. However, I believe they were likely frozen. Food took about 30 minutes to arrive. Felt like a long time though.

Yelp
July 5, 2025 and 5 of us came in for dinner to celebrate a birthday with friends. Our 3 friends had never been to or eaten at Vito's, and 2 did not even know about the restaurant. They all were very impressed. We started with the sampler plate and it was enjoyed by all, and the prosciutto wrapped melon was a huge hit. The pasta and meatballs was thoroughly enjoyed, the vodka pollo (Chicken Sauteed with Penne Pasta, and Sun-Dried Tomatoes) was delicious, and the chicken marsala was raved about. The farfalle e' prosciutto (bow tie pasta in a garlic cream sauce with diced prosciutto) was excellent. And the deserts were wonderful. We enjoyed the cheese cake, tiramisu, and a banana royal. Thank you Anthony, Chello, Lou, and Oda for the great service, and a shout out to the kitchen for the great food!!

Yelp
Wow, can't believe I've been sleeping on Vito's Trattoria all these years! It wasn't until my friend, who has been staying at the nearby condos, arranged for us to have dinner there. We strolled into the restaurant around 7:30pm on a Wednesday. We didn't have reservations, but we had no problem finding a seat indoor or outdoor. While it looked fun and lively inside, we decided to sit outside since weather permitting. Overall service was excellent. Our food came out fast, and our server was just the best. He was the kind of person who seemed to really loved his job, so his attitude translated positively. I got the Catch of the Day, which was a Chilean Sea Bass with 2 prawns over risotto and asparagus. It was absolutely divine. Everything about the dish was executed to perfection. The sea bass was moist and flaky, and the prawns were plumb. Loved the lemony, buttery white sauce with capers over the risotto. This rich sauce brought everything together. I would certainly be back again to get this. I would honestly give the place a 5-star if it weren't for my friend's Frutti Di Mare that I tried. The linguini was nicely al dente and the sauce tasted really fresh, but the whole dish was bland to me. Maybe if they offered parmesan to spruce up the saltiness that would've helped with elevate the dish.

Yelp
Wife and I decided to try this restaurant after several business trips to this area / hotel. It is walking distance from our hotel and we always walk by while taking our puppy out to stretch his legs. The take - out process was seamless. Our order was taken politely and thoroughly over the phone by a kind gentleman. When my wife stopped by to pick up the food, from returning from work, the food was hot and ready! The restaurant, itself, was busy, clean, wonderfully aromatic, and the staff were bustling around always busy. I ordered the rib-eye and prawns while wifey decided upon the Pasta Carbonara with Sicilian Bruschetta. Considering this food was take-out, It was better than the caliber of food we get from most of the Italian steakhouses we've in months. The 12 ounce steak was so juicy and tender, I really did not need a knife. It was beautifully seasoned with a mushroom sage brown butter sauce. Our Carbonara pasta was cooked al dente ( perfect ) and tossed in a white creme sauce with bacon and onion while the 4 Bruschetta crustini's were separated from their hearty, tangy tomato, basil, and balsamic topping. This place can make the take-out food taste so amazing that it makes one want to go back and eat in the restaurant which is what we will be doing. Cannot wait to try this place again !!

Yelp
My BF wanted to take me out for a special treat on my birthday -- kept it a surprise until we arrived at Vito's; he'd made a "birthday girl" reservation and we were greeted warmly and seated at a wonderful table with a view. Sadly, Kutzy *me* knocked over my date's water glass -- happily only the part of the table next to him got wet and he stayed dry; the ultra-friendly waiter Lou and his colleagues didn't bat an eyelash and reseated us at another lovely table by a different window. I decided on the veal scallopine marsala (a fave that I don't tend to see often on menus) and for my red-wine decision our wonderful waiter Lou recommended an Italian wine on their menu. He happiliy gave me a fairly generous "taste" of it to compare with their $17/glass merlot [?Markham?] which I thought I might like; and when I wasn't nuts about either of them complementing my veal I asked him for "just a tiny taste" of their $17 pinot noir [?Coppola?] -- which he was happy to provide and which was *just right*. They provide BOTH butter AND olive-oil/balsamic without having to ask (for whichever one you prefer) with their very-nice bread-rolls, and I appreciated that! My veal marsala, served with vegies and pasta with delicious red sauce was perfect, and the portion large enough that I ended up taking half of it home due to "saving room for dessert"; my BF enjoyed one of the veal cutlet dishes. We pondered over the dessert menu and finally decided to share the tiramisu but before we could place our order, Lou brought over a Birthday Present of ... Tiramisu! -- replete with a little pink candle. Bottom Line: Terrific place to which I plan to return and highly recommend!

Yelp
Came in for a work lunch, was busy but were greeted right away and sat immediately. Host was very nice For a starter I got the Fried calamari, it was very good. Rings and tentacles and cooked perfectly. Hate when it gets rubbery but these were perfect. Lightly breaded and fried The meals come with a Side salad with an Italian balsamic type dressing. It was good and fresh For my main I got the Pasta pollo vodka. It was amazing. Pasta cooked perfectly, sauce was very tasty. Chicken cooked just right and plenty of it. Service was good, friendly and efficient, offered suggestions and advice Very nice lunch spot. Parking is free close by, which is huge downtown.

Yelp
After watching the movie Nonnas on Netflix, we had a hankering for Italian food. My husband choose Vito's Trattoria because he liked the name. Turns out it was the perfect choice! They are super inviting and because I had a GS Warriors shirt on, we were seated at a high top table in the bar area so we could watch the Warrior's Game. We started out with the Caprese. It was fantastic. Bright, fresh & very good. I usually do not do this type of appetizer due to the cheese but this one was definitely worth it. For our main dishes my husband had the Ossobucco and I had the Chicken Marsala. Both were amazing! We finished off our dinner with the Bananas Royal and a coffee. The staff was super friendly and the food was made to order and delicious. We will definitely return to try more of their dishes.

Yelp
A welcoming place amidst office complex, sjc airport, 101 and Kaizer! Love the free parking around it and welcoming outdoor and indoor seating. As you enter, you are greeted by friendly faces! You can make a reservation at "open table" if you plan to be there between peak hours. In $55 (before tip), we got: - your choice of 2 topping pizza - 4/5 - we got jalapeño, mushroom, olives. Bell peppers. They charged $1 for each extra topping. The pizza was loaded with veggies on a thin but tender crust. - veggie primavera pasta - 5/5 - we swapped the sauce from creamy white to vodka sauce for an extra charge and it was totally worth it. Bomb pasta and heavy/ huge portion size. Good to share! - garlic bread with cheese - 4/5 - huge portion and good quality cheese. I wish they added some herbs/ etc too on it to add a kick - complimentary sour dough rolls 5/5 are served on request. Loved it! - garden green salad - 4/5 - side plate of salad with greens, carrots, a big tomato slice and vinegar drenched onions. Pairs well with the sour dough rolls. Service is impeccable :) and it's a pleasure visiting them! #supportlocal

Yelp
Quick update because of new visit 10/08/24: Wish I had suggested we order the calamari (add Marinara!) but we got the sample platter. It was good, but the calamari was sooo good last time. The menu is extensive, but I remembered from last time - WAIT FOR THE SPECIALS to be announced. Sure enough, the halibut over risotto was presented as a special and 4 of 6 of us ordered that. It was damn good. Go get some chow here you will not be disappointed. As with last time, service is 5+ stars. They are all awesome!

Yelp
Our team visited for a birthday lunch around midday, with a party of eight. Since gratuity was automatically added for larger groups, it was already included in our bill. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough indoor seating available for us, so we were seated outside under a comfortable umbrella. The restaurant offers an extensive menu, including daily specials. They were also accommodating enough to let us order from the dinner menu when one of our guests wasn't satisfied with the lunch options. The portion sizes were quite generous. I had the tri-tip, which was beautifully cooked and served with potatoes and vegetables. The dish was accompanied by a well-flavored chimichurri sauce, though it had a bit of a spicy kick. Another special was a fish dish that was nearly perfect--though the pink sauce that came with it had an unusual flavor that didn't quite hit the mark. Overall, the Italian cuisine was of great quality, and the restaurant was impressively clean. There was ample parking nearby, though signs cautioning against leaving valuables in your car were prevalent.

Yelp
I ordered Vito's catering for a lunch event at work since they were willing to deliver 10+ miles. From the moment I emailed George to the food delivery, George was very polite, accommodating & made great suggestions on dishes to consider to balance out flavors. The excel spreadsheet he provided to use to plan my order was very helpful. The food was delivered on time by Anthony who was also wonderful to work with. He helped set up the food including the food labels they provided. The food came in aluminum pans, but he set them up on my wire racks for me & I used my own sternos. Without the sternos, it would still last about an hour warm. Everyone raved about the food & kept asking where I catered from. I ordered salad (came w caesar and balsamic dressing on side), mixed veggies, bread (very soft & delicious), pollo vodka, pasta fresca (for vegetarians), salmon pasta, & chicken marsala. The food was meant for 50+ but it can easily feed 60 +. Given the very positive food compliments & great customer service, I would definitely order from Vito's again. I highly recommend the catering & food. Thank you to Vito's for being on point with catering!

Yelp
I was upcharged like crazy. I thought I was getting $7 soup and an $8 salad. My server asked if I wanted to add shrimp to my salad. When I got the check, the $8 salad turned into a $38 seafood salad. Yikes. I could have asked about the shrimp upcharge or contested the bill but I just didn't have it in me. The good: I had half an hour to eat and they met that timeline easily in an unhurried fashion The food was very good. The minestrone was delish and the uncharged shrimp was high-quality shrimp and perfectly cooked. I have 2-3 more appointments at this Kaiser so I'm sure I'll be back but I'll ask more questions about upcharges.

Yelp
First of all, it will be hard to get better service. Chelo, our server, was excellent. He really took care of us. I had the meatballs and pasta. Way too much food! Very hearty. My wife enjoyed her gnocchi. My son in law had the Frutti di Mare and it was loaded with fish. Daughter had the pasta marinara with vodka sauce. She had bay shrimp which made it really tasty. We usually eat here when we go to the San Jose Airport. We always look forward to a great Italian meal.

Yelp
What a wonderful dinner out solo. The restaurant looks like an OG Italian family restaurant with dark cherry wood, columns and chandeliers. All the servers took care of me equally without hesitation. I loved the soft, yummy bread with balsamic and oil. I started with the minestrone soup, which was a light broth filled with veggies and beans, sans filling pasta. Just so flavorful! I was going to order the lasagna as the photos looked great, but I wanted veggies and as the Veal Picatta came with both Penne Bolognese and veggies that's what I got. Boy was I happy! One of the best Veal Picatta's I ever had! Ate it all! I grabbed a card and recommended the place to my hotel staff upon my return. I will have to remember this place next time I'm in town and try that lasagna!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! The server was so witty and funny and an absolute delight. The food was also amazing with huge portions. They also had some of the most delicious bread served in an Italian restaurant. However they don't bring it out unless you ask for it with the server. All the pastas (and entrees I think) come with a side salad which was also really good. Their calamari (not pictured) is a must try appetizers. It is fried so crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. The restaurant is a bit on the pricy side but it makes sense with the food and overall vibe/ atmosphere of the place.

Yelp
Let me try to share our experience as thoroughly as possible. We weee craving Italian food and we have to promising restaurants we usually go for such craving. But tonight we decided to try something new well new to me and a repeat visit to my love who she said she had business lunches with clients and other friends before. Ok more about this restaurant last night because it is located the same distance where we enjoy a night out at another Italian bistro. We thought let's give it a chance. As we checked in we noticed it was getting packed and reservation was definitely needed so the hostess said it might be a 45 mins wait but will try to get you settle in 30 mins. We asked where was the bar and headed to it and at the same time we saw tables with reservation signs on table. So ordered our drinks and asked about one table without a reservation signed if that was opened for dine in or bar privileged and the bar tender who we found out is one of the owners through family pictures on the wall. Anthony was delighted to help us through the night from drinks, to our main dish. He made us felt we were family. Let's talked about their food. Let's go! If you like butter & garlic, if your nose loves the smell of Italian cooking. This place is for you. It feels like family. This kind of experience sets the standard for a walk in dinner we sat next to the bar and bread oven and overseeing the whole dining area and entrance of the restaurant. I have this belief when a restaurant is excellent I could tell but when a restaurant has a history of generational awesomeness meaning seniors, silver hair people I only could imagine they come here because of the quality of food. Again manager/ owner was kind and attentive. Staff was helpful and observant. Food was fast, HOT (that's important to me) and delicious. Also, my check was closed out quickly heck when I know the food is good I don't need to see the bill just ring me up (also important to me) so we was able to get a good dinner experience and will be back guaranteed. Big shout out to Anthony who offered to box our food too. Seriously, what a guy! Thanks

Yelp
The high rating is for a reason. Food is excellent and service is over the top! Love this place!

Yelp
This restaurant was overall a good find and nice experience. The atmosphere is traditional Italian, clean and the staff was on top of it, offering each course quickly and wine and drinks aplenty. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was good, a little lacking in richness of flavor, but with quality ingredients and delicious. A solid Italian option in the area.

Yelp
We ran into this restaurant and sampled their food twice in a week because it's situated extremely close to our hotel. And we were quite pleased with their service & excellent dishes we tried. I believe, their food tastes very close to that of Italian.

Yelp
Been coming here for two years now. Great thing about this place is you can pick your sauce for any dish so changed the marinara to pesto for the Gnocchi. One of the better Chocolate Mousse desserts in the area and service is always great. Fresh bread to start is a hit as well.

Yelp
Incredible vodka sauce! Came here for a friends birthday dinner and we were quickly sat. Our server brought out complimentary bread and balsamic vinegar + olive oil. I had the vodka alla pollo pasta, which is by far some of the tastiest vodka sauce i've tried. The serving size is very large and at a great price point. The atmosphere is very lively as the whole restaurant was full when we went, definitely recommend making a reservation for larger parties.

Yelp
After having some of the most amazing spicy vodka pasta in Las Vegas, my guy was on a hunt to find something just as great here, back at home. We drove around aimlessly and ended up at Skyport. I quickly took that as a sign and immediately decided on Vito's. I've actually had Vito's Trattoria 1 other time and as much as I wanted to love it, the food just feel short of my expectations. That previous experience was in the form of takeout and this time around, I went with dining in. The restaurant offers are good in size and is categorized by appetizers, soup/salads, chicken, seafood, steak, veal, & pastas. Vito's also offers BYO personal pizzas with 2 toppings, additional options are available for an added fee. I'm a huge carb lover so I settled with the Vodka Alla Pollo & the Spaghetti Alla Bolognese. Playing was very simple, which I have no complaints about. The food is made fresh, delivered steaming, and pasta is cooked authentically al dente. Food: Spaghetti was good. Definitely the more likable dish amongst our party. Flavors were good, sauce was plentiful, and a few shakes of parmesan cheese made things even more delicious. Vodka Alla Polla was not comparable to what I had in Vegas but was okay. The issue I had with this dish was the blandness. Yes, you get the bit of tartness from the strips of sun dried tomatoes but not much else from the vodka cream sauce. EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA parmesan cheese was used in this dish alone and I can only imagine what the staff was thinking as they witnessed myself shaking the cheese dispenser violently/repeatedly. In terms of food, It's been a hit and a miss each and every time I've eaten here. One dish is always a home run and the other is a disappointment. 3 stars overall but I contemplated going even lower for it's rating due to our meal feeling rushed. The one lady came by to clear our table on two different occasions as we were obviously still feeding our toddler. It wasn't like the seating was needed, it seemed as though she was bored and just wanted to look busy??? Either way, that wasn't appreciated.

Yelp
Amazing!!!! We called for a late dinner about 7pm and they were so gracious to have us come in. They were super nice, great recommendations and did not rush us. We had the caprese salad, egg plant parm (their grandmother recipe) and spaghetti Bolognese. All super yum and portions large enough to take 1/2 home. Worth it is you are in the area !!

Yelp
Really great Italian restaurant. Tasty food and terrific service. Nice outdoor also seating available. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
My husband, our baby, and I came to dine here today. We were running late, so we called ahead since we knew they close at 2:00 PM. The person on the phone assured us that we would be fine and that they would still seat us. However, when I arrived at 1:53 PM, the man at the front was rude and refused to seat us. I explained that I had called ahead, but he didn't seem to care. It was particularly frustrating because it's difficult for us to get out with a baby, and we used to frequent this restaurant before we had one. I'm very disappointed in both the service and the attitude we experienced. If they weren't planning to seat us, they should have been clear about that on the phone. We wouldn't have driven 30 minutes just to be turned away.

Yelp
This is a very good higher-end restaurant conveniently close to the San Jose Airport. We decided to have lunch here Thursday before my wife got on a flight. They open for lunch at 11am and we arrived at 1115. There was only one other table with people at that time, but we were asked if we had reservations. We did not, but were seated at a nice table for two next to a window. It turns out that by the time we left, the restaurant was full; so, it seems that reservations are advisable even for lunch. The restaurant has a nice indoor dining room and also shaded tables outside. The tables in the dining room are heavy granite. The chairs are heavy metal with comfortable upholstered seats. We started with Cheese Garlic Bread ($7.50) which was very good. There is a full menu of Italian dishes, as well as pasta. What intrigued us was the Bistro Steak Pasta ($21.95(). This is pasta with a generous amount of steak cut into pieces and a delicious mushroom sauce. Fantastic! We each ordered this and we were glad that we did; it was delicious! As lunches go, it is somewhat expensive. However, if you are seeking a nice place for lunch or dinner with your favorite person, this is a good place. It's a great place for good food before getting on an airplane for a long flight. It is less than 5 minutes to drive from the restaurant to either terminal at the airport. We were able to park on the street, but there is a parking structure next to the restaurant's building and a small parking lot in the back.

Sharon L.

Yelp
The first sign that Vito's Trattoria is a customer-centered restaurant is when Ashley, the hostess, noticed my husband and me sitting outside 5 minutes before they opened. She came outside to welcome us and let us in early. The restaurant interior is beautiful. I was a little uneasy because I wasn't dressed in "restaurant clothes." I was wearing yoga pants, a long-sleeved tee, a jacket vest, and Skechers. So I was very appreciative of our server Anthony, who was warm, funny, conversational, and made me feel comfortable. My husband ordered a spinach salad and frutti di mare and I had a spinach salad and vodka pollo--all soooo good! Anthony checked on us multiple times and Aurea never let our water and iced tea glasses get below the halfway point. Wonderful service, great ambiance and food--we will be back!

Yelp
Amazing food! You can taste the authenticity. Generous portions, staff is always so nice, great customer service. Family owned, they're closed on Sundays.

Cathie S.

Yelp
Restaurant is charming. Service was good. Went there with a friend. Shared the Caesar salad, it was so small, not shareable size. I mean tiny portion. Ordered garlic cheese bread. It was hot out of the oven, looked delicious. SO loaded with garlic. Chunks and chunks and chunks of garlic, it was not edible. I ordered chicken piccata, I make this all the time and order at restaurants frequently also, it is usually a light lemony sauce with white wine and capers. This was very thick, flavorless paste. Chicken was rubbery. This was more like fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, which I do like, but that's not what I ordered. My friend had chicken alla griglia. Red sauce which i didn't expect. She said it was fine. My stomach was very upset all night. Won't go there again.

Yelp
Family style, amazing service, been around since 2003 I recommend you order [garlic bread with cheese] as an appetizer, it tastes like pizza without the marinara and trust me you will have garlic breath but it's so worth it! [Vodka alla Pollo] was great. Creamy, but you can still taste the tomato and it wasn't overly tart. Al dente noodles too. [Pasta Carbonara] was my favorite, subbed spaghetti with fettuccine. It was creamy and decadent, bacon was a perfect touch. Try adding some salt and pepper that they have on the table to the dish, gives it a nice touch. We shared 1 appetizer and 2 entrees between 3 people family style and it was the perfect amount of food. Also ordered a single [cannoli] at the end, it has a lemon filling inside. I wouldn't say it was anything special, the shell was very hard and unflavorful for me so I wouldn't get it again. On the pricier side, but I'd come back for any special occasion!

Yelp
This was my second time here, almost a year later. What I noticed was the same bartender, the same servers, the same hostess, the same bussers. To me, what that means is Vito's claim of being a family-owned restaurant of 21 years rings very true. And the staff interacted with certain customers in a way in which I could tell this place attracted regulars. I'm not surprised! I struck up a great conversation with the bartender on my first visit, and was met with equally exceptional service on the second trip. The food was also worth it on both occasions. The pasta, the lamb chops, the cheesecake, I really have no complaints about anything. TL;DR: every time I come to San Jose I'm going to make sure I stop in here for dinner.

Yelp
Overall, great restaurant! Food, service and ambiance was excellent! Delicious wine and cocktails as well.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in service was a 10 of 10. The atmosphere is amazing. Food was a 100 out of 10. I would 100% recommend this place whether is for lunch or dinner. Let them know that Walter sent you because this place is amazing. Should definitely be on your list of places to ea

Yelp
We arrived for an early dinner on a Saturday night around 5:45 pm and found plenty of available tables. The staff was friendly, and we particularly appreciated the use of an iPad to display pictures of their Today's Special menu, which helped us visualize the dishes. The food was quite good overall. We tried the swordfish with risotto special; while the risotto was good, the fish was a bit too salty and may have been slightly overcooked. Next time, we might opt for something other than fish. Additionally, we sampled some pastas and a pizza, and we were pleased with the attentive service, as we never had to ask for more water. This might seem like a small detail, but we dislike having to constantly request water as we have at other restaurants. We would certainly return and would recommend others to give this place a try!

Yelp
Vito's is a such a gem! Where to begin? The staff is great! They are always so nice and engaging! The ambiance is beautiful. The food...the food is amaaaaaazing! I've tried it all and have never had a bad experience! My bf and I are frequent visitors (once a week, every other week). We can usually sit at the bar (or in the bar area). Anthony is great and keeps us coming back! He remembers our drinks and even what we had last time we were in. He makes an amazing martini & lemon drop! I recently tried an espresso martini and that was also fantastic! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Vito's is great and I highly recommend!

Yelp
The food was great. They offered gluten free options. The service was excellent and the restaurant was comfortable.

Yelp
Vito's is a local place that my husband and I have been going to for years to celebrate our anniversary. The food and service is always consistent. The prices are a little high, but the portions are huge. We are able to get 1 or 2 more meals from the leftovers we bring home with us. The bartender makes the best extra dirty martini I've ever had. The garlic cheese bread is to die for. Run to Vito's for a delicious dining experience, you will be glad you did.

Yelp
I was so looking forward to eating here but was definitely left with more to be desired. We ordered the appetizer sampler, Cesar salad, and chicken Marsala. The chicken was a bit tough. We were not offered the complementary bread so ordered garlic bread. We were later disappointed to see bread being served automatically to other guests who came in. The pasta didn't taste very fresh and was a bit disappointing. The appetizer was good. I would not order the garlic bread again.

Yelp
This place is pretty straight forward, and as you would expect: Upper scale Italian restaurant, higher end dishes with higher end prices. I came in with a group of coworkers. Shared an order of calamari and the antipasto and for my entree I went with the waiters recommendation of the Ribeye and prawns as it was also one of the days specials. The calamari was done really well, fried perfectly, and the breaded expertly. The steak was good, I think I would have preferred it without the sauce though and I was disappointed by the size and quantity of the "prawns". But they paired well together and tasted great. The service was good, and if I were to come back I'd be sure to order something more traditionally Italian so I could leave feeling like I had a true Italian restaurant experience rather than something more akin to a visit to a steakhouse.

Yelp
For a place thats tucked in between SJC, Kaiser and tech businesses, Vito's has a great ambiance. Not really a scenic area but its nice to sit outside with your pasta and wine (nice flower planters, Vitos). Spaghetti and meatballs are my go to at any Italian restaurant. I'm boring that way. The meatballs were so good. Tender, flavorful with the bolognese sauce. But a couple of glitches- first,my daughter got the wrong order then they brought the correct order but there was a metal shaving in her food. The server said it looked like a piece from the grill brush but didn't offer a new plate. She carefully ate her food not wanting to send it back again anyway. Probably not a good thing to do. Despite that, everyone said the food was delicious. So we'll be back again hoping for a 5 star, glitch free experience.

Yelp
Celebrating Valentine's Day. Efren is a wonderful waiter. Very attentive. Food never disappoints. Anthony makes the best Moscow Mule.

Yelp
The spinach and cheese ravioli were light. The marinara sauce went well with it. Very crowded on a Friday night. We were sat in a place that's really challenging to maneuver around us and the table. The food was good, just thought the location of the table made it difficult to get in and out of. Overall, the food is great and I would want to come back again to try more items.

Yelp
We wanted some angel hair pasta, and they delivered some pretty incredible angel hair pasta. Not only that, but the environment was cozy, and the service was simple and straightforward.

Yelp
For our first visit it was pretty disappointing. The food was just ok at best. They also don't offer complimentary bread unless you ask. I understand that they request we ask since they don't want to waste food, but I was unaware that they offered bread until I overheard the table next to us ask. The waiter could've at least offered. Our Calamari appetizer was pretty standard. Both pastas we ordered were also very bland. The Tiramisu was average too. The two star rating is for the service and the ambiance. The atmosphere itself is very nice and they had fresh flowers on the table. The waiter we had made sure to check on us once in a while and service was quick.

Yelp
Nice, old school Italian place which I totally appreciate because there are less and less of them in the area. Very standard menu with all of the things you may want to eat in an Italian restaurant. They have a lunch menu which I assume has its own pricing. Most of what your order comes with a nice side salad with tomato, onion and Italian dressing. The minestrone is very light and fresh which I totally appreciate. I ordered a pizza which was good but not mind blowing. You get to choose two toppings and then additional toppings cost extra. Definitely a solid place if you're craving Italian.

Yelp
We came to Vito's after checking yelp for an Italian place in the area. We showed up about 15 minutes after opening and we were seated quickly even without a reservation. The restaurant itself was quaintly adorned with decor on the walls and a goldfish sheen to the paint. Our server came over quickly with waters and asked if there was anything he could help with or explain to which we declined. Complimentary bread and olive oil/balsamic vinegar came out with the drink order. We opted to start with the sampler and I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with added chicken and my partner ordered the rigatoni raviatta. The sampler was wonderful and let us try a bit of all the various appetizers. The raviatta had a great flavor and a good spice to the dish but the chicken Alfredo was a complete miss for me. The Alfredo sauce tasted sweet and the chicken had an odd texture almost as if it was boiled. My partner stated the dish tasted like Christmas and it hit me that I think they may use nutmeg in their sauce? Either way it was not for us. Service was great and all the locals would say hello a gentleman named George who I would assume is the owner as well as the service staff.
