They really invested in the decor, the show script, jokes and music performances. You even get greeted by a vintage machine gun through a peep hole to give the password to enter. Great crowd interaction and participation. All of the staff are in character. Dressing up encouraged but not required. The food is great. I don't think it's a full service restaurant, so you'd have to ask if substitutions are possible. Good balance of period music and comedy. It's a good time and you can get a lower cost ticket if you skip the meal. Good for special occasions. There were a lot of anniversaries in attendance, which all got shout outs during the show.

This was my first time here. Be prepared to be laid back and go with the flow. It's a small venue and they pack you in. The "help" is dressed for the 1920's, the girls act ditzy and guys are tough....well all except Micky... 😆 Josie was our waitress and she was amazing. Don't be in a rush for your food or drinks, they will get there and you won't go hungry. The skits were right out of the slapstick handbook of jokes and I totally loved it. The piano music was wonderful and it was kind of scary that I knew ALL the words to the songs that were sung....(Thanks Grandma and Mom) This venue is definitely audience participation and it was great! You might get asked to go on stage, so just enjoy it and have fun. I'd definitely go back.....

Plan your next special occasion at Vito’s Vault. Service was friendly, Food was delicious. Atmosphere will take you back to prohibition I had a group of 18 to help celebrate my birthday 🎂 and everyone had a fantastic time. Wishing this establishment continued success.

Cute concept of dinner & show at a speakeasy. Have been here twice and while the show is largely the same, it still was a ton of fun. Dinner is good, choose your entree in advance. First time, there were acts between the courses and second time, everything started after dinner. More fun the first way but I’m sure there is a reason for the change. Cocktails, this could use some work but hopefully new staff will settle in and they will have more in stock. Show, very fun, great acting and interplay with audience. This is something you could take a date to, have a birthday party or go out with some friends and you’ll have a great time. Check it out!

Very wonderful experience at Vito’s Vault. Fun prohibition era speakeasy with yummy drinks and an amazing atmospheric show but there were no reasons not to bring the whole family! I would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone! My fiancee and I had a great time. Thank you Vito!

We had a great time at Vito's Vault!! The atmosphere was authentic Old School Chicago, the actors were in character the entire time making it an inclusive experience for the entire audience. The food and drinks were good and the dessert was delicious! Really affordable fun time for all, absolutely recommend!

As a disclaimer immediately, we were there on the busiest night they've ever had. The place was packed. That being said. You pre-order your main course most likely so they can have your order. My steak, potato and green beans were tasty. However, I ordered a medium well steak and it came out rare. Salads were run of the mill garden salad. Nothing really special about them Dessert options were cheese cake or red velvet cake. The problem with our party is my wife doesn't eat cream cheese so neither of the desserts could be eaten by her. It would be nice to have something more for a selection. But the dessert was tasty. I had the red velvet. The venue itself was slow moving at first, again this was one of their biggest crowds. The atmosphere was fun. It took a long time to get us all served about an hour and 15 minutes. Once the main course was finished they did start doing some music and skits. They had quite a bit of interaction with the crowd. if you're going for an event be sure to let them know they will shout you out at some point. We were there for a holiday event and they had a holiday drink menu Christmas themed. The drinks were a little heavy on the pour but good just the same. They follow the theme pretty well of it being a 1920s prohibition style Speakeasy. The decor and the room itself had a lot of ambience. for the most part, everyone stays in character Until the end. The table next to us had a lot of issues getting their stakes correct? They wanted rare which is what I received on accident and they kept getting well. The place was very loud and I could see how it would be hard to hear an order being giving. We did have a table of heavy drinkers that had about 15 people just behind us and they were very chatty the entire time which did not take completely from the show as the show was loud and lively. Overall the experience was worth the money even though it seemed a little high-priced when we purchased. I think if we would have been on an average night the food would have been better. The service would have been quicker. So I try not to fault them for that. All of the staff were absolutely as friendly as possible. I love that you have to give the code word to get in the back door. What a cool touch. Yes I would go again, yes I recommend even with the minor issues.

Yelp
Loved the show at Vito's Vault! The dinner and drinks were delicious and WOW what talent from the performers! Very cool ambiance takes you back to the 1920s, and with the upbeat, fun entertainment, you can't help but have a great time!

Yelp
So much fun! I wasn't sure what to expect but the singers were spectacular, the food was good, and the service was great! They do bring a handful of audience members up to the stage, but they are very sweet to the participants and it's not too painful or embarrassing. Some might even really enjoy it! Parking is plentiful and easy and FREE. I don't think many people know about this yet, but it's a great way to spend the evening!
