Google
A local gem with a variety of ice cream flavors, freshly made juices and quite a few food/breakfast options. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

District Yatta

I stopped here while visiting some friends in LA. It was hot as all hell that day and this place was a relief. They have so many different flavors of sherbet/ice cream/water ice and for the price they give you generous scoop. The woman at the counter was very friendly and let me try multiple flavors. Great place to grab a cold treat.

Google
Love this spot for the freshest ice cream and fruit bars. Tastes like actual fruit and not artificial flavoring like other places. the frozen pops are all great and way refreshing. I also picked up a way cute chocolate heart that you smash open and is filled with candy. It also came with dipped strawberries that were more professional looking and sweeter tasting than the crazy expensive places (chocolate actually covers the whole thing!). On the way out I found out you can actually buy the cute little face mugs and pottery. Of corse I bought a set!

When I went on a hot Sunday it was empty and the lady that helped us out was very nice. Got the Gansito & my sister got the letche quemada 🤤 so good!!! I like the fact that it’s up the block from where I live. It’s so small and lowkey I only noticed it recently lol

Google
This place is so good! Everyone is super helpful too. If you want a chill spot to get some coffee, nachos, or some really good Mexican ice cream this place is for YOU

Google
The best ice cream and fruit juices here! And the employees are very nice. They also have sandwiches and other savory food.

Google
The watermelon ice cream bar tasted exactly like eating a watermelon. Soo good. I also got 2 scoops of ice cream, cookies and cream and cheesecake, they were just alright. Last, a half dozen chocolate covered strawberries... they were a little pricey at about $15. I would have expected them to be a little better|. The chocolate covering was good but the strawberries underneath were a bit too tart imo.

Google
The people that work there are so nice! They have some great ice cream flavors. Obsessed with their gansito ice cream. And their melon paleta! I live down the block and it’s been a life saver on the hot days! Definitely a little blessing in the neighborhood

Yelp
I was in the area and decided to drop in for a cold drink. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of ice cream, desserts, juices, and drinks offered here. The spot is esthetically pleasing and staff friendly, polite, and attentive. All their selections looked amazing but I was on my way to a party and only ordered a Chai Tea Latte. It was very good, refreshing, and not too sweet which is just how I like them. I'll be back to try their other items and will recommend this spot to my family and friends that live in the area.

Yelp
Best sandwiches with a great price ! I've gotten ham & tuna both delicious. My coworker goes almost every day to get a cafe de olla

Yelp
So many great coffee, ice cream & juice options here. The best stop to grab local favorites. I loved the seasonal marigold ice cream flavor - never tried anything like it & am definitely coming back before they sell out. Everyone was so nice and helpful, great customer service. Also, cute and cozy decor at this establishment - love it!

Yelp
Hidden gem, variety of flavors in paletas and ice cream and the workers are super sweet

Yelp

Yelp
In case you haven't heard of nieves and paletas... Nieves are water-based Mexican ice cream made mainly made with fruits. Paletas are Mexican popsicles packed with flavors. If you haven't had one yet, you must try for sure. I fell in love with their pineapple ice cream at the first lick. Refreshing without being overwhelming, it deliciously cooled me down on a hot afternoon. It hit the perfect balance of subtle tart of pineapple and sweetness. The staff was super-friendly. I was encouraged to taste different flavors, which I skipped since I had my heart set on pineapple. When I return, I will be trying different flavors and perhaps even grab a paleta.

Yelp
The best ice cream place in the area! The place is very clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I usually get chocolate, pistachios, vanilla, coffee, and mango. There are so many flavors and I hope to try out all of them!

Yelp
Amazing food! The croissant sandwiches were amazing and filling, the tamales were great(mole is a good pick)! And the staff was sweet and inviting. The owner/manager came by and gave us a cup of their fresh house made Etole De Elote and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend checking this spot out when you get a chance! It's definitely a gem in Ktown

Yelp
I received really horrible customer service from a Woman on Thursday afternoon June 8, 2023. I was the only customer with my daughter. I asked if they had Apple Pay available and ordered a strawberry banana licuado (milkshake) I was setting up Apple Pay while she prepared our order. When she came along with our milkshake I still needed time to set up Apple Pay and I actually ordered chip with nacho cheese to give me more time. I tasted the milkshake before handing it to my daughter and it was hot with little taste of strawberry, no banana, no milk because it did not froth it was like water and no ice it was warm. I was shocked and asked the woman if they didn't add ice to the licuado she said no. Another customer came in and was ordered with another employee. When she came a long with my chips I asked what my total was and that's when she began to give a really nasty attitude sighing loudly. I understand she would be frustrated because it was evident i wasn't ready to pay I felt bad and I even told her to charge the next customer please to give me another second. I gave up on Apple Pay but I had more than enough quarters on me since I was at the laundry a block away. I called her over to charge me and She was so visibly annoyed, sighing loudly specially when she saw I was paying with quarters. I payed my total but I just had to know what I did to upset her I asked her but she completely ignored me and walked away. I just couldn't stand that I was not being disrespectful, I payed what I owed, I didn't do anything wrong. I asked for a refund, which i received and she grabbed the chips I never opened or touched and threw them To the trash. It's sad really because I like to find new places, especially small businesses and it being so near home I was excited to find a place like this I could frequent for snacks. I guess I'll look for another place because no matter what I'll never come back.

Yelp
This is the freshest and best tasting ice cream and fruit pops in LA if not the world. Try it yourself and prove me wrong because you wont be disappointed. Very cute place with lots of color. Also look at all the poetry around the shop. I love the face mugs and sugar skulls and bought a whole set!

Veronica S.

Yelp
We stopped for a quick bite to eat during a weekday and they were absolutely wonderful! They gave us a sample of their "atole de elote" that was delicious! The food is made with authentic products from Oaxaca Mexico. It's a nice and quite ambiance with great service!

Yelp
I love popsicles and I tried passion fruit flavor and it is one of the best popsicles I have ever tried. Also, the staff was kind. Even though I asked many flavor names (because some of them are in Spanish), she answered me kindly. Other than icy popsicles, they have milk based popsicles and ice creams. I will definitely go to this place again!

Yelp
Got to check out this spot two weeks ago during my lunch break at work. I happen to be a teacher at the school up the street from this business and was craving something cool for the beginning of summer. It is a great little spot in a busy area, but not too busy when you go inside. If you've ever been to Mateo's it's a similar menu, with bionicos, sandwiches with quesillo aka Oaxacan cheese, and an endless selection of freshly made paletas. The portions are big, my coworkers shared a sandwich, so if you go by yourself you might have leftovers.

Gabby A.

Yelp
I love coming here for some mangonadas! They have the absolute best with fresh cut mangos on top. Everything here looks so good and fresh. I love to support a local Oaxacan owned business! They have ice cream (free spoon samples), paletas, coffee, sandwiches and other Mexican antojitos. The staff here are very friendly, the women here always are so sweet! Will definitely become a regular here :)

Yelp
The staff were super friendly. Celery juice and ice cream were great! I recommend dropping by
google avatar

Yelp
Got the passion fruit paleta. The paleta was so rich and delicious. Taste exactly like passionfruit and the worker was extremely nice!
google avatar

Sonia L.

Yelp
They have ICED Cafe de La olla. It was amazing. I have never seen the iced version. The paletas were also delicious and everything well priced.

Yelp
About the only thing hard is the parking in the area, like a lot of this area of Los Angeles, there are cars parked in the same spot all day, not allowing any close parking, so drop some one off let them get the order or circle until you get lucky, it will be worth it no matter what.

Sky R.

Yelp
I decided to try a new ice cream spot and found this one, I was disappointed. I got the flavor coconut and the strawberry. Once I tried the coconut it tasted nothing like coconut, it tasted as if it was rotten, smelled bad and the texture was horribly tacky. I had to throw it away. The strawberry wasn't to bad.. just a little unflavored.

Yelp
Everything about this place is so neat. You cannot go wrong with the many options that are available. The ice cream is so good!! If ice cream isn't your thing, they try a smoothie or any of the many snacks they offer. Plus the people that work here are super friendly and sweet. Definitely coming back again.
google avatar

Ada Z.

Yelp
Can't believe there's a new ice cream place in the neighborhood right before I move away lol. Check it out y'all it's really good! Good ice cream and friendly staff
google avatar

Martha A.

Yelp
Everything was really good and priced well! Definitely will be going back to try more items on the menu. The staff was very nice and the place was VERY clean!

Rachel N.

Yelp
I casually walked in and came out pleasantly surprised! I ordered the cheese sandwich and a detox green juice. They were both super good. I wasn't expecting the food to be stellar because it's primarily an ice cream shop but I highly recommend trying out the food--didn't disappoint! The sandwich even came with a fruit salad on the side. Next time I'll be trying the dessert at night for a late night snack.

Cynthia M.

Yelp
Really friendly staff. Hadn't heard the best things about this place but I felt it deserved a chance & I loved it. They had such a large variety of flavors to choose from and plenty of water based flavors that are so good on sunny days. They accept card & I think u get a discount if u pay cash.
google avatar

Andrea D.

Yelp
They have a variety of amazing flavors and other treats! The service is exceptional! Would highly recommend this place
google avatar

Priscilia M.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!! The ice creams are delicious but what I truly come for is the sandwiches. Fresh ingredients, amazing bread, and a touch of love make these sandwiches unforgettable. They are perfect for lunch because they're very filling but not heavy. Veronica is a star employee as well as the rest of the staff. She provides excellent customer service and makes the entire experience extra special. This is definitely among my favorite spots to eat at in LA. Highly recommend.

A. A.

Yelp
When we say we know ice cream, we consider ourselves ice-cream connoisseurs. There are layers to this sh**. The flavors are unique, varied, and fresh. Make sure to come early, because they make their waffle cones in house (the earlier, the fresher!) We've tried Mamey, Coco, Café, Pistachio, Guanábana (Soursop). Inside it is colorful, clean, its Rona safe as you cannot eat inside the store. Must wear mask and stand 6 ft apart at all times.

Yelp
So happy this place finally opened. Great addition to the neighborhood and easily the best ice cream in Koreatown. Homemade with natural ingredients and absolutely perfect on a hot day.
google avatar

Aquile T.

Yelp
Great ice cream and sobet choices. The customer service was great, felt super clean as well. The best part is that their prices are amazing a double scoop at this place is 2x cheaper than a double scoop would be at baskin robins. Samples aren't available so choose wisely

Abram V.

Yelp
This place has great ice cream. I have tried thier ice cream and paletas and both are amazing!! Staff is always friendly and the place is clean. My favorite ice cream shop in my area.

Daniela G.

Yelp
They have amazing flavors and the workers are very friendly. They have so many options on what to buy and this shows the true culture of Oaxaca!

Matt B.

Yelp
The mango con chamoy popsicle is so delicious! Vegan options, snacks, sweets, and more. Stop by and cool off!

Patty B.

Yelp
Definitely worthy the drive. Prime parking was easily available on a Sunday. Great variety of goodies to choose from. I purchased two dozen for a hot outdoor party. It hit the spot for everyone.

Araceli G.

Yelp
Great service and yummy/100% natural ice cream and juices. We got the green juice and pitaya ice cream and they were so delicious. It's also really affordable.

Chloe S.

Yelp
The ice cream is so creamy and delicious at this ice cream shop. Highly recommend buying a mangonada here, as it is delicious, and it is not overpoweringly sweet. The mangonada does not taste like artificial mangoes unlike many mangonadas I've tried in the past. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of Mexican treats or ice cream overall.

Drew L.

Yelp
This place has the best popsicles, with dozens of flavors to choose from. If you're in the area it's a must try!
