Great concept, and well executed! Looks like a shop transplanted from Haight Ashbury or Greenwich Village, very clean, upscale and "modern" styled. But where other places would end there, it carries all the way to the care in preparation of the product. All of their pops are "paleta" style and various flavors can be ordered vegan "sugar free" with agave, normal (also vegan), or dairy. Pops are handmade with local organic produce and they run $2.50 each, cheaper when purchased in bulk.
My wife and I each had a Blood Orange pop -- delicious! The zesty sweetness of biting into a fresh orange coupled with the coolness of the frozen treat, a perfect summer treat. If I was to change anything I'd wished it had more fruit pulp in it, but the flavor was there 100% and my wife remarked even with its deep color, it didn't stain your tongue like an artificially colored one.
Eyeing the tempting menu board after my pop was gone, I ended up getting a second round -- I ordered the Lavender Lemonade -- also delicious. Very subtle lavender pairs well with the lemonade.
We'll definitely be back to try some more soon!
