They made the wrong drink but corrected quickly enough when I needed a milk but not tea drink. The one made for taro didn't live up to the photo hype, the drink was just so so. The 3q was ok, but the tea was gingery. Odd choice, I suppose.

First time here. Maybe I’m just used to other shops, but I wasn’t really understanding how they do their orders here. I got a medium Thai milk tea with tapioca balls. I thought everything comes with a baseline level of sugar. There was no sugar. It was too late to have him remake it, and I didn’t realize until I was up the block ( which is my own fault ) Cute place, would come back but will definitely make sure to put my sugar level in.

One of the better bubble tea spots in the city. Their signature fruit tea is a must try. It’s so refreshing and super tasty. You really can’t go wrong with anything off the top 16 list. Another surprise here is their popcorn chicken. They offer 5 flavors and allow you to customize any sort of combo. Great spot!

small air conditioned bubble tea store, with WiFi. large selection of milk and fruit teas. the bubble teas are around $5-7 each and the one i had came with fruit pieces in it along with the tapioca. you can pay extra for more tapioca or various other flavoured boba. orders were served quickly and there is room for maybe 8 people to sit at the tables provided. recommended!

Vivi is a nice bubble tea "go to" spot for everyone. My personal favorite is the brown sugar bubble tea..The tapioca (boba) are soft and deliciously chewy (not hard)..I tried the fried oreos as well..Everything was good.. Can't complain.. Vivi Bubble Tea is great when you're in the mood for any of their teas or drinks and side menu items ( fried oreos,etc.) I recommend you give it a try.

I wind up in this area a lot, so this is where you will find me in between errands. It's a small place with delicious bubble tea. The staff is friendly and you don't wait long. My favorite are the ginger, taro and matcha bubble tea. Be sure to pick up a frequent visitor card because the 10th one is free!

I was on my way to get some materials for my class & run into this place. You know I love a good bubble tea so I had to try. I tried their brown sugar milk tea with boba. Customer service was great, place was cozy & looked clean .

First time in this shop will be my last. After paying for my tea, I stepped back to wait and noticed the fish tank on the other end of the counter. Too many fish in a too-small tank. They were visibly distressed. The tank had no plants, nothing for enrichment, no rock coves or hiding spaces, just a little plastic castle decoration at the bottom. I see now from past reviews that this shop has been keeping fish in these terrible conditions for years. I won't give them or any other ViVi location my money again. I hope they read this and recognize that their mistreatment of these creatures is causing them to lose business. Please rehome the current fish to a place where they will be well cared for and put an end to keeping fish in your shop.

I have always had a positive experience whenever I visit any Bubble Tea shop. I was excited to try the new mango and Oreo flavors. Delicious Service was speedy. It was very clean and organized inside the store.

Small but cute place! I ordered the strawberry tea with tapioca pearls. It reminded me of Starbucks with how there's a little pit of purée in it. I'm a fan of the ViVi chain because it's always so consistent and the employees are always very helpful at selecting a flavor/bubble combo.

If you're in the mood for bubble tea, Vivi does the trick. With locations throughout the city it's an easy takeout style spot with fast service - nothing fancy. No matter the location, the taste is consistent and I know because Oolong Milk Tea (+bubbles, 70% sugar) is my go to order. Vivi definitely satisfies the craving.

Ordered 2 large taro bubble milk tea and asked for LESS ice with regular sugar. I was watching the guy make my drinks, he added very little taro powder and extra ice SMH! Our drinks tasted diluted with almost no taro flavor and the tapioca were overcooked & mushy. Definitely don't recommend getting drinks from here! Also, all the Vivi locations discontinued the almond milk tea, which sucks because I've been getting that for 5+ years and it was my favorite :(

Decent spot off Union Square for an assortment of bubble teas. It's tiny, and perhaps even smaller than the Chinatown location. Hit the spot in this hit sticky weather while on my way to JackRabbit to pick up some running gear.

Nice boba tea place. I ordered a classic boba with no ice and no sugar. It tastes great! The whole room is a little hot and smelly because their cooking area is right there. But if you just order to go, then it's great. Also, there's no bathroom there and it was nearly impossible to find a public bathroom in that area. Overall, it's good, and I would like to try their food next time

Looking for a some good bubble tea? This spot is great for grab and go bubble tea . The chaser is super fast and maximum wait time is 10 min for a tea which is pretty fast. I didn't like that the re is no seating inside all tables were taken away ( I guess due to Covid). This would've revived 5 stars if this spot has seating to chill talk and have some tea. They also sell dumplings and popcorn chicken if you are hungry . Overall great for grab and go bubble tea.

So maybe I have lived a sheltered life in South Florida and never experienced bubble tea until now. It gave me the giggles. Something about these cream filled dots exploding in my mouth was familiar yet new. In short, I loved it and if you can take the calories it is something unique at least for some of us.

If it were Lychee, it'd be my largest cat. But it's not, it's Vivi. This is one of two Vivi locations which I came to and enjoyed a drink and then the pictures disappeared. I don't know if I uploaded them and then they disappeared or they just completely disappeared off my camera. But I'm a fan of the bubble tea here and it's pretty good and I wish them all the best and I'll definitely be back at some point when I'm in this part of Manhattan.

I wish the Thai bubble tea was stronger. I wish it had more of a tea flavor. I ordered it warm once but it was burning hot. The peach ice jelly was bittersweet. It was sweet 1st & left a bitter aftertaste. The tapioca was really bland. I recommend using honey syrup so that the tapioca tastes good too.

Their bubble tea is great just like at all of their other locations. Anytime I am in Union Square, I always try to stop by here for their sweet drinks. The service is quick and easy. The menu is displayed on LCD screens making it easy to read, however, there are some menu options that I wish I had descriptions. This café has minimal seating. Not a place for studying but may be a good place for a couple friends who need somewhere to sit for a couple minutes. The bubble tea is average price not crazy expensive but not the cheapest bubble tea. Definitely the cheapest in the area, might actually be the only place in the area LOL. Overall, if you're in the area and you want bubble tea, this place will do the trick.

By far one of the best popcorn chicken of all the Vivi locations. Given it had slightly fewer pieces but they were more meaty and the spice level was perfect. Just the right amount of heat. Drinks were good too.

I've always liked Vivi Bubble Tea. They offer some flavorful Bubble Tea and snacks. Is this my favorite place to grab Bubble Tea? No, but it's still very good. Employees were friendly and quick. There is seating inside and the shop is clean. We were in and out in no time. If you're in the area and in the mood for some bubble tea and popcorn chicken (good stuff), this place will hit the spot.

#thankyouThursday I'm happy that they're still open. You can order delivery or pick up through Uber Eats (and I'm sure other apps as well). I tried the Honey Milk Tea and I really enjoyed the sweet flavor paired with the strong tea. I ordered the Oolong Milk Foam and I think I prefer cheese foam. The drink tasted better once I'd mixed it all together but overall, I don't think I'd buy that flavor again. I also have tried the original milk tea (which comes with bubbles). I think that was a pretty good drink and it was interesting that their "original" milk tea is Earl Grey flavored, which I found to be unique.

STAY AWAY. Ordered a mango tea and was handed a passion fruit tea. When I asked the male server behind the counter about the confusion he emphatically stated that I ordered passion fruit. I was ready to say it was fine and that I will drink it anyway, but he continued by saying "You didn't order mango. I heard you. You definitely ordered passion fruit" and added, i kid you not, an audible scoff. At this level of condescension, it doesn't even become about who made the mistake, it just boils down to bad customer service. Will not be coming back here for this reason and that the bubble tea itself was also subpar. To those reading this review, stay away. In this decade, there's no reason to put up with these kinds of interactions.

Boba should be affordable and close by. Nobody wants to walk more than 3 blocks for boba. Luckily this is around the corner for us so I am a bit biased. Vivi gets a bad rap at some locations, but I've found this place to be good and hasn't disappointed me yet.

Really love the Vivi franchise and have been a frequent customer at least half a dozen locations over the last ten years Can say unequivocally that this vivi is the absolute *worst* value when it comes to Taiwanese popcorn chicken. An order from them doesn't even fill HALF the bag it comes in. I'm talking less than 10 bite size pieces of chicken total. Go to the 23rd st, east 14th or st marks location for more than twice the amount of food for the same price

This isn't a food review. I did however buy food (before noticing what I'm about to review) I got the coconut tea and "popcorn chicken". The tea was okay and the chicken were undercooked. This is a review of what I noticed after paying, on the counter. At this shop, as you find in many Asian bodegas and gift shops, was a bowl no bigger than a softball. It was unfiltered and had less than a cup of water. In the bowl we're 4 fancy goldfish gasping for air and space. The display was horrifying and one I mentioned to the man at the counter who just laughed. I own fish aquariums and as a member of the hobby I am sickened by people who think they can treat some animals like they are not living, breathing creatures. I will not attend another Bobi tea house or any shop that does this to their animals. I should have demanded my money back, but I had a client waiting. I did not (regrettably) take a photo, but here was what I was reminded of. #shame

Very good bubble tea! I got the Oolong Milk bubble tea with tapioca, and it was perfect. Sweetness was just right, not too much not too little. The taste was deeper and less milky than most other bubble teas out there. Service was fast and friendly, following all Covid precautions. They also had a fishtank with lots of fishes to look at while waiting for my order. Will definitely come back!

This is a very nice and clean Vivi location. It's conveniently located close to Union Square. There are a few seats but it really could be better if it was a bit bigger and had some more seating for customers. There is a little fish tank by the register and I feel the fish would be comfortable if there were less fish in that tank. The drinks are always made to my specifications, whether it be less ice or less sugar, so that's good. But what's annoying is that I literally come to this location about once a week, and the guy I would think would know my face by now since I order the same beverage, and one time he didn't give me my stamp and I forgot to remind him. So the last time I came by recently and got a bubble tea, I asked him for a stamp for this recent one and asked if he could stamp my card for last week since I didn't get one. He flat out said NO and I thought it was really rude. Just thought that was not cool.

It's a good bubble tea place when you are in union square area. It's nothing special comparing to other Vivi locations. I got black milk tea with bubbles and it was not bitter but smooth so I liked it. I wish they put more bubbles in my drink. The bubbles were cooked well. My friend got chocoberry n cookies and it was very sweet with some cookie chunks. Interesting chocolate flavor with berry. It's a tiny place but has some seatings. I might come back when I am in this area.

The loveliest bubble tea shop on 14th Street....it may be the only one but it hits the spot. It's really tiny with only 3 tables so go during a time when kids are in school and too many tourist aren't around. The service is always quick and speedy and always taste really good. Nothing to complain about, this is a great pick me up spot for when I need something sweet during my lunch break and if it's cold outside I can swing by and get something warm as well.

Perfect little bubble / boba tea spot. Exactly what we were looking for right by Union Square. Similar to the one in the financial district... A ton of bubble tea options - just what you expect from regular teas to fruit teas and also smoothies. Quick service, super friendly and lots of options including different levels of sweetness and boba. Great, bright environment. Super small, so not really any room for sitting. Just grab and go and enjoy your boba tea.

If you're looking for a chill cafe to hangout in, Vivi is totally the way to go! They have a bunch of different Tea options and display a wide variety of flavors! From Honeydew to Strawberry! They have it all! And their popcorn chicken? Don't even get me started! It's delicious! They provide a skinny wooden skewer for you to eat the chicken with. It was flavored with garlic and tasted spicy yet salty. Absolutely delicious! I would totally recommend this place for a study-group hangout or simply a meet-up with friends!

There are many bubble tea shops in the City, and many locations of Vivi Bubble Tea. But this location on W 14 St, in addition to being closest to me, is also the best out of all of them. How is it so, you ask? Well, without naming names, let's take a look at bad reviews other people have written of this place (and these are paraphrases): - "Oh no, they give too much tapioca bubbles!" Yeah, what would you rather prefer they put in your cup? More water? That they include bubbles in their price and give you such a generous portion is pretty amazing. - "Oh no, their popcorn chicken is too salty!" Sorry, their Taiwanese popcorn chicken is the real deal. I've been to a number of Vivi Bubble Tea locations, and you can definitely tell that this place makes far and away the tastiest popcorn chicken out of all of them. Don't like that? Go back to eating flavorless food and leave this place to those of us who actually enjoy good food.

I enjoy their taiwanese fried chicken. The salt and pepper is grungy and just what I need on cold days. However, the service suck and their tea isn't much better than their service. It's either too much milk or it's watered down. Consistently delicious, clean and friendly!! I love the Jasmine Green Tea with Honey and Tapioca. Plus, the steamed pork dumplings hit the spot every time they are light, thin, and non-greasy, and the filling is high quality--a very satisfying, and cheap meal!! The dumplings take a good 10-15 minutes because they are made fresh. It's well worth the wait!!

Love this location. Right near union square but not so close that you feel all the commotion of it. There are a couple places you can sit to enjoy and outlets to charge (although no wifi.) Vivi is always my go-to in the city for bubble tea.

I had delicious & refreshing Thai Iced Tea here. Pretty hard to mess something that simple up, but if you do, safe to say I'd bet nothing else you serve is good. But Vivi lived up to standards. It's a cute little spot on 14th street. Bubble Tea is good all around so I'd come back here to try the other options. The service was fast and they were friendly. There is a tiny dine-in section inside as well.

Great place to grab some drinks with reasonable prices. Most of their drinks range from $3-5. The place is definitely cutesy, as one would say. I don't think you could go wrong with any of their drinks. I ordered a Thai Milk Tea with bubbles and it tasted exactly how Thai Milk Tea would taste like. If you're feeling for something milky, they do have a list of milk teas to select from. If you're more on the flavored teas and thin drinks side, they also have options for that. They also have their top 10 drinks on their menu, so that could be something interesting to look at if you're indecisive about your order.
