The Best Sandwiches Are Croissant Sandwiches | Eater Austin

"From the pop-up bakery Vivian’s Boulangerie, the one-off nicoise sandwich was ridiculously decadent and messy, with seared tuna chunks, a tangy (in a good way) olive cream cheese, eggs, roasted potatoes, and tomatoes — it was the sandwich of my dreams." - Nadia Chaudhury

My mom and I will drive hours to get somewhere where the pan dulce is to our standard… this is one of those places. We don’t buy as much bread as we used to when we were fatties but we still gotta have our fix sometimes and we spoke about it recently, we’re going to stop giving new bakeries a chance and just go here because this is the only place that has NEVERRRR left us disappointed when we got home and took a bite. I love everything I’ve tried here!! She would tell me to try an atole when I was younger and I always didn’t want to, but now as an adult I am obsessed with their atole. In line you’ll hear people whisper to each other they’re getting the atole de nuez (walnut) and I’ve heard it’s really good but my absolute favorite is GUAYABA. It does not taste like guavas it tastes like a sip of heaven Jesus Christ it’s hard to explain but if you like sweet you’ll love it! Please be patient the line goes by quick and the cashiers are very fast and attentive. If you want to try some GREAT pan dulce please give them a try! Worth the drive!

Little Bakery inside the swap meet, but the best hidden gem. Pastries and Mexican breads are the best! Freshly made! Highly recommend
