The 5 Best Farmer’s Markets In Miami

"In the summer, the canopy formed by the ancient oak trees shields you from the beating sun at this market. And if that doesn’t do the trick, grab a sno-ball from Spoonbill’s Snoballs. Urban Oasis Project is there too for fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. Vendors rotate, but there’s usually barbecue, Venezuelan empanadas, and dim sum. If Solchiki’s is there serving Korean fried chicken, get it. Also, the parking situation is thankfully the least-stressful of any Miami farmers market. Open Sunday, 9:30am-3:30pm." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

Vizacaya Village Farmers Market - Review - Coconut Grove - Miami - The Infatuation

"Vizacaya’s Farmers Market is open every Sunday from 9am to 3:30pm. In the summer, the canopy formed by the ancient oak trees shields you from the beating sun. And if that doesn’t do the trick, grab a sno-ball from Spoonbill’s Snoballs. Urban Oasis Project is there too. Their stand is where you can buy fresh, organic fruits and vegetables while supporting the non-profit in their endeavor to help underserved communities and local farmers. Vendors rotate, but there’s usually barbecue, Venezuelan empanadas, and dim sum. If Solchiki’s is there serving Korean fried chicken, get it. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is absolutely beautiful — a true gem in Miami that feels like stepping into a European palace surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. The architecture, the art, and the peaceful ambiance make it a must-see. But what makes it even more special is that every Sunday, they host a vibrant marketplace featuring local vendors. You’ll find delicious food, handmade crafts, clothing, natural hair products, and so much more. It’s a perfect mix of culture, creativity, and community. Whether you’re going for the stunning views or the Sunday market, don’t miss the chance to spend a Sunday here with your family. It’s a unique experience that blends history, beauty, and local flavor — highly recommended!

Beautiful space for a short day visit. Amazing for a weeding reception !!!

Google
I’d say 3.5 stars. Great variety of items, especially MondEpice Spices & Teas. Nice selection of food vendors too. Watch out for the prices.. a lot of vendors do not show or list their prices so when you go to pay for your $25 arepas (we got two so it was $50) you’re slapped with an overpriced side of couscous and a side of tabbouleh for $16 EACH. Some of the tents have prices listed on signs but are crossed out. Some transparency would be nice.

This Farmer's Market is very welcoming and has a great array of veggies, fruits, soap, clothing and handmade goods and trinkets. There are also a few stands serving hot food. The only downside is it is one of the smaller markets I've been too in the Miami/Broward area- we only spent about 25 minutes here. That being said, it's still worth a visit. We tried the smoothie station called Blend Bike (which had the longest line out of all the stands when we arrived). Their "Refreshing AF" was a great dragon fruit and mint based smoothie. The appeal of the smoothie stand is getting to ride a bike to power blend your own smoothie. It's a little funny to do in front of the line of customers but the associate working the stand can take your place if you'd rather not ride the bike. This market is in the parking lot that belongs to Vizcaya Museum so it's a great stop before enjoying the museum and gardens right across the street on a Sunday.

First time coming here. Lots of parking and shade everywhere. It's a small farmers market. There was only 1 produce, jewerly, clothing, soap scrub and flower vendor. The rest was food items and other vegan and bread makers. We did try the dim sum and it was very good. We also purchased Kombucha, Fresh juice (Island chill) from a Jamacian vendor who also sold Curry Garbanzo beans (tasted great). The peacocks were an addition to this beautiful place. There was a seating area and bathrooms. There was a yoga class going on also during this event. Maybe next time I do yoga first then enjoy the fresh market again. Cash and cards accepted.

Great variety of things to buy. Vendors are super nice. The night market is also awesome, with live music and great activities (yoga, arts & crafts, etc.). Great vibes!

Google
Small farmers market with a diverse selection of local goods. Everything from locally grown veggies/fruits to nut butters and pastries to homemade prepared foods and unique select-a-size spices to soaps and clothing. There’s about 20 stands give or take so 30 min-1 hr is plenty of time to peruse, purchase and sample some of the tasty small bites from local venders. We opted for Wayra Roots Menu’s refreshing MEDICINAL LEMONADE. Consciously sourced water, Lemon, Ginger, Fresh Mint and Local Wildflower Honey were the perfect, healthy thirst quencher on a hot Sunday afternoon! We also purchased Mama Ghanoush, Lebne Kefir Cheese, and Magdus (chopped eggplant with walnuts and spices). These are going to make excellent tapenades for our next charcuterie board!

Google
What a great way to spend a Sunday morning in this farmers market!! It’s a small one and it doesn’t have that many vendors as we are used to in other markets. But they have a great amount with different type of vendors; food for your pets, produce, pastries, poke bowls, barbecues, and much more. Parking is free and the entrance to the farmers market is also free. The people in the farmers market are taking all the Covid precautions needed, like wearing masks as requirements, keeping distance, and many other things you will see you when you go there. You can also get some discounts if you’re a member of Vizcaya or if you want to become one you can also get a discount when you go to the farmers market.

Yelp
This was a fun way to spend some time on a Sunday and to get lunch. I will say, in terms of all of the farmers markets I have been to, this one was definitely on the smaller side. They probably had a 15 stalls. I think 30 minutes is probably enough to cover them all. My personal favorite was one that had Korean chicken. They also had coffee, dried fruit, edible plants, an Acai stand, a smoothie station, a BBQ stand, many empanada options and some natural beauty products. It was a pretty farmers market as it was in front of vizcaya and there was ample parking, and it was not too crowded.

Yelp
Stumbled across this cute little farmer's market. It has a stunning backdrop of foliage and aerial roots shooting down from enormous strangler fig trees. The vendors were incredibly friendly and excited to share their products.  I was super impressed by In Your Face Delights. The owner spent years perfecting his recipe for a unique dough made of only fruits and nuts - no flour! His creativity has led to fun creations like raw fruit tarts and frozen fruity empanadas. The Passion Fruit Tart was delicious (and nutritious,) especially that crust! I'd love to try more flavors, particularly the empanadas.  Highly recommend swinging by to check out the local goods!

Yelp
Vizcaya Village Farmer's Market is a small Farmer's Market located right in front of Vizcaya Gardens main entrance. You can find the lot for this in the overflow parking of Vizcaya. Came here on a Sunday and it was a cute lil spot to walk around, get some produce, and check out some local vendors. It wasn't too much of a walk around and you could get through it in about five minutes if you walked straight through and back without stopping at each vendor. They had fresh produce and some cool local businesses to check out. I ended up getting some oil from Allarganic plus some fresh squeezed juice at another spot. Definitely super cute to check out and this time around, they even had The School of Rock performing some songs which I thought was a great addition to the Farmer's Market!

Yelp
I definitely recommend coming here and I really enjoyed all of the vegan options at this farmers market. It seemed more like a bakers market or a chefs market or a makers market because there was only one farmstand. There were multiple places to get refreshing drinks, even some ginger and unique flavors like cacao. I would be happy to support all of these businesses and some of them were offering deals. Coral reef booth has some information that you could check out and the park next to the market has a paid entry, but it is worth checking out! it was pretty crowded last Sunday with at least one person waiting at each booth for their order. Enjoy!! Spend $ and treat yourself to some beauty care or dry fruit. I saw strollers here so I think it is handicap friendly. The people are pretty friendly here too.

Yelp
In the middle of a nice bike ride, we stumbled on this partially hidden farmers market that was shaded by majestic beautiful old trees and was right next to the Vizcaya museum. There's not a ton of vendors, so this place doesn't need crazy heavy foot traffic, but there are about a strip of tents, maybe 15 or 20, each offering different products or foods and are all small businesses. There was a police officer at the front entrance for security and he was very friendly showing us where we could lock up our bikes. We bought Vietnamese coffees with Boba at the very first booth and they were so delicious and energizing. Other Booths had fresh vegetables and fruits, natural skin products, and more. We decided to get some dim sum at Mr. C, a booth about halfway down, run by an older Chinese couple who is making all of the food fresh in front of you from scratch. We got the meat lovers dim sum box, which came with six or seven yummy meat-filled dim sum pieces including shrimp, pork buns, curry beef pocket, etc. they were all so delicious and fresh, some of the best dim sum I've had in South Florida, and at only $13 for the seven piece box, very reasonably priced. I wish they had an actual storefront, but they're only available in this farmers market and one other on weekends. They open the museum bathroom to guess of the farmers market, which is nice because it's air condition and not dirty. There aren't a ton of boots, but this is still a cute place to spend an hour or two if you aren't doing anything on a Sunday.

Yelp
I honestly cannot believe it's taken me so long to check this spot out! The Vizcaya Farmers Market is a delightful gem made for all locals to enjoy. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. Music, vibes, fruits, coffee a little bit of everything all around! The market boasts a diverse selection of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and delectable treats. The friendly vendors are eager to share their passion for locally sourced products. Everyone there is just so sweet it's hard not to buy from all of them! I really enjoyed the variety of organic fruits and vegetables, as well as the homemade baked goods, I was about to get some veggies and fruits for the week and some homemade bread to-go. The atmosphere is buzzing with energy, and music adds to the charm. It's a perfect place for families, foodies, and anyone looking for a taste of local culture. The Vizcaya Farmers Market is a true embodiment of community spirit and a must-visit for anyone seeking quality, freshness, and a memorable experience.

Yelp
We came here for half of an hour while waiting for the Vizcaya museum to open. This market was fairly small but had a good variety of vendors. You can definitely come here for breakfast before going to the museum. We got some freshly squeezed mango and cane juice from Nature Boyz, and they were incredibly delicious. The owner Clive Chung generously gave my daughter a handful of longan, which were fresh and sweet. There were several peacocks in the parking lot showing off their brilliant plumage.

Yelp
It is a smaller farmer's market, but passionate market vendors who came out even on a rainy Sunday to take a chance on any locals or visitors also brave enough to shop a market in the rain. Bonus to a rainy day? Plenty of parking and no real crowd to speak of. Lots of great vegan options here- some very surprising options I never would have tried had it not been for getting invited to try some tasty samples on the spot. Some prepared foods, some market items, some custom packaged foods. Ceramic pottery and artists around the corner of the building as well. Easy in and out with the Viscaya Village parking lot access.

Yelp
I've heard many people talk about Viscaya Farmers Market. It was smaller than I expected and it's actually located across the street from Viscaya Museum. It may be a small market but there were some very friendly vendors selling awesome stuff. The market happens every Sunday from 9am-2pm. A few of my favorite vendors include Baguette Plus, Big Dough Cookies, Saucy Lips, Josh's Pizza, Mediterranean Delight, Urban Oasis Project. I'm a huge fan of farmer's markets because it allows you to support local businesses and there are always good finds. Especially with the food. I love the whole vibe and getting outdoors. If you're ever in the area, come check it out. It's a cute market.

Yelp
A great place for a little Sunday Funday! It is a small cozy farmers market opposite of the museum in the village. Once you got your little brunch why not enjoy it in the serene setting of the garden. Take some selfies or maybe a family photo. Dogs are allowed and they even have a stand with dog treats & food. There is enough parking on site, although we parked across the US1 and walked across. Got some nice views and pictures on the way too. All in all a fun day in Miami that was free, besides the produce and food you buy at the market. Farmers market tends to be a bit pricey but its all fresh and organic. You pay for what you get. Hours are 09-2 pm. We were there around 11 am and it was good. Oh by the way, if you love cheeses? Check out " a little slice of Europe" ; European cheeses, local artisan and more! Wow! We will be back! Fb & ig; @alittlesliceofeurope

Yelp
The whole experience was great the food the people everything was amazing. I am extremely happy. I will be going back. The area was awesome. I loved everything I saw. It's beautiful places.

Yelp
This Farmers market exceeded my expectations! I used to frequent the Pinecrest market regularly but after a major hurricane knocked down most of their tree coverage I stopped going bc it's just too hot outside. The Vizcaya market on the other hand does have lots of tree coverage so the heat was bearable and the variety of vendors was excellent!! Lots of vegan food options, a separate section with workshops, a pretty big area that's shaded with tables and seating, there was even a DJ mixing live music! I like that there's something for everyone and all the vendors I met were very kind and personable :) I'll definitely visit again!

Yelp
Pros: free parking, a good selection of vendors, good vibes. I loved the baked goods and the lemonade! Cons: limited vendors, I wish they would make it a little bigger, but still a great farmer's market!

Yelp
This might be the tiniest farmer's market I have ever seen and it's located right across the street from Vizcaya. Ample free parking is available. There's not a wide selection food to be found here, but they have a little bit. You can see pretty much all of the vendors in one roundabout. Had an enjoyable time. Cute little market, but would love to have seen more vendors here. This place is A-ok.

Cindy Z.

Yelp
To be quite honest, it's not worth the trip. There's not a lot of variety. I was hoping to see a large outdoor space with a long pathway filled with kiosks, but it was small. Some stuff was expensive too. If you live very close by (5-10mins away without having to take a highway) check it out if you want. If you live further than that, don't bother. I was hoping to see a flower vendor but there weren't any. I think they should expand the space and have way more local vendors. Does anyone know of a large farmers market in south Florida? I'm looking for one similar to those you see in California that stretch across 3 blocks, for example. There must be one down here!

Yelp
I happened to see this event listed on Eventbrite and decided we'd make a trip of it since neither my husband or I have been to Vizcaya Gardens. It's actually in the parking lot across the street and I thought it would be a lot bigger than it is. There really wasn't much offered but there was some good food for sure. I had to go back for seconds of the coconut slushee! My one complaint is how strict they are about the mask nonsense. Being that it's NOT a requirement in Miami and there's NO laws saying that you have to wear masks, they make it a requirement for you to walk around OUTSIDE, which I find ridiculous. Overall, I can say I probably won't be back. It was nice to go and see the Biltmore and the gardens but it ruins the enjoyment. While you have to pay to get into the gardens, it's free to get into the market but it wasn't worth the drive for us.

Yelp
The farmers market was my destination walk today. I love Farmer's Markets and on Sundays I choose between Pinecrest or Viscaya. What makes Viscaya so great in comparison to the Coconut Grove market on Saturdays are the precautions they are taking to keep our community healthy. Here you must wear a mask, keep your distance and all the vendors are wearing masks. It allows for a safe enjoyable market experience. Today I bought spices and teas from Mondepice, crackers from Crackerman and empanadas from Cocolandia. Gables Delight is also there and that's worth a trip in itself for the best jams in the country. Support local and support folks who continue to care about our safety.

Lorena S.

Yelp
I visited the farmers market for the first time. I took off one star only because the pictures led me to believe it was far larger than it was. However, given that I loved the choices. The first stand had an unusual selection of mushrooms. There were a variety of fruit and vegetables, reasonable priced and good quality. I will be going there repeatedly for produce. The other stalls had a wide variety of items from smoothies, middle eastern and asian food to honey and candles. I then took the tour of the grounds. The volunteer docent was very knowledgable and I was happy to have learnt both the past history of south florida and this garden as well as all the exciting offerings being planned. Highly recommend a visit

Yelp
This small and accesible farmers market offer deliciousness at every booth. We loved tasting the delectable samples offered by several of the merchants. We lefts with bags of unique foods both fresh and prepared. The market was perfectly socially distanced. Our dog loved it and even found a booth dedicated to his needs. The guy powering a blender with his bike for ice coffee was entertaining. This is a great way to spend a Sunday morning. The shady green space with picnic tables is a great place to enjoy your snacks. Wr plan to return.

Laura S.

Yelp
I stopped in at this farmers market for breakfast before a day of touring Vizcaya. I could totally see this market being a place where I would go for regular groceries. They were selling bountiful fresh produce, delicious prepared foods, locally crafted beauty products, zero waste solutions, and shade grown coffee! It made me wish I lived there too! I had a fried mushroom poboy from a vegan food vendor that tasted like it came from my neighborhood poboy shop in Nola. It brought back such memories! And I got the best molé sauce from saucy lips. Plus some amazing hair products from Sayblee & soaps from 1934 Soapciety. If you live in the area it's worth a trip and if you're visiting, you will enjoy it too.

Yelp
Had a variety of different lunch options and nice atmosphere spending outside with the family.
