This is a very very good restaurant. The service was particularly friendly and enthusiastic for a Michelin star restaurant. It can often be quite snooty. The wine accompaniment was expensive but excellent. The menu seemed quite extensive and varied and at first I worried it would be "too much" but it was perfect the chocolate fishy rice pudding being a particular highlight.

In my opinion, the team exceeded expectations in several ways: First of all, I thought the service was outstanding. As for the food, I rated most of the dishes as outstanding and would particularly like to highlight an excellent intermediate course with cauliflower. Almost the same goes for the wines, and here I would like to highlight an excellent Pinot Noir Champagne and a wonderful Sauternes. As for the presentation of the food, the tableside procedures were some of the best (if not the best) I've ever experienced. The presentation of the wines was also excellent. Last but not least, I thought the value for money was outstanding and the price transparency left almost nothing to be desired. Amazing food, welcoming atmosphere and great service. The lobster tail plate and the ice cream dessert were special favourites, although the entire tasting menu was excellent.

Once again an amazing dinner. The team provides some inspiring ideas of a unique taste and food experience. Service for wine can be improved. Nevertheless it's always a pleasure to be there.

Had an amazing evening there. The food is really amazing, and it’s not plain food is an experience. The menu is fantastic. Service is also top notch. It’s definitely worth the investment. I’m English speaker and all the waiter were able to speak English and explain the dishes with lots of details. Highly recommend.

Das 2-Sterne Restaurant VOTUM in Hannover ist eine wahre kulinarische Offenbarung. Das elegante Ambiente im Leineschlosse setzt den perfekten Rahmen für einen unvergesslichen Abend. Das Personal beeindruckt als perfekte Kombination aus Professionalität und lockerer Gelassenheit – stets aufmerksam, aber ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Unsere Geschmacksreise begann mit einem raffinierten Petit, das mit seinen irisch angehauchten Aromen für einen spannenden Auftakt sorgte. Im Verlauf erfolgte unter anderem – eine handwerklich aufwändig und perfekt zubereitete gefüllte Wachtel – diese zeugte von einer meisterhaften Küchenkunst, die nicht nur optisch, sondern vor allem geschmacklich überzeugt. Die Gänge des Menüs waren saisonal abgestimmt und harmonierten wunderbar miteinander, während eine exzellente Auswahl an Weinen jedes Gericht optimal unterstrich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sympathischen Küchenchef, dessen Leidenschaft und Kreativität in jedem Detail spürbar waren. Ein Besuch im VOTUM ist weit mehr als ein Dinner – es ist ein Fest für alle Sinne und ein Erlebnis, das Lust auf mehr macht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen dieses einzigartige Geschmackserlebnis allen Feinschmeckern, die auf der Suche nach außergewöhnlicher Kulinarik in Hannover sind.

Das neue Barkonzept mit Servings zum Testen der Sterneküche ist eine sehr gelungene Idee zum preiswerten Erlebnis des Hochgenusses der Küchenkunst des Votum. Auf jeden Fall testen. Hat mich sehr überzeugt und werde es wiederholen.

Exzellentes Essen! Exzellenter Service! Tolles, unaufdringliches und modernes Design und eine nette Atmosphäre. Ein rundum gelungener Abend und eine außergewöhnliche, kulinarische Erfahrung. Wir hatten das 2 Sterne, 2 Stunden, 3 Gänge Menü und konnten so erste Eindrücke in der Sternegastronomie sammeln. Das wird nicht unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein! Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die nicht so gute telefonische Erreichbarkeit per Mail und Telefon (nur mittwochs bis samstags zwischen 14:30 und 17:30 Uhr). Da würde ich mir eine bessere Option wünschen.
