"Vrindavan is an upscale vegetarian thali restaurant — for beginners that is a set meal with a selection of different legume stews, rice, chutneys, fresh vegetable salad, pickle, relish, savory buttermilk drinks, and more. Each day features a thali of the day from different regions of India. The Wednesday and Saturday specials of Brijwasi thali include hariyali tikki (potato and mint patties), dubki wale aloo (potatoes in spicy gravy), chana masala (spicy chickpeas), paneer makhanwala (paneer in a creamy tomato cashew nut gravy), and more. Check their menu to see all the daily options." - Courtney E. Smith, Didi Paterno

"This all-you-can-eat South Indian spot will keep your thali tray full until you tap out. Located on the second floor of a busy strip mall, this entirely vegetarian restaurant offers a rotating selection of stews, masala curries, and desserts for $26 per person. Keep this place in mind for a big weekday lunch—which ends at 2:45pm—or a weekend dinner feast with friends who are down to sample whatever spice-rich specials the chef brings over. If it’s warm out, grab a seat on their patio which overlooks a crowded stretch of Pioneer Blvd." - Nikko Duren

Amazing Indian resturant!! The food was amazing and the service was great. The servers circulate with different food and dessert options. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. It is all you can eat, so come hungry 😋 . It is perfect for those who abstain from meat during lent. They also have gotten rid of tipping and replaced it with actual living wages for staff. Bravo!! I will be back.

I just had the most incredible dining experience at Vrindavan, for my birthday. I must say, I'm beyond stuffed! I was excited about the various options that were gluten free. And speaking of desserts, I was thrilled to receive a complimentary birthday treat that was both thoughtful and delicious. It's clear that the team at Vrindavan is passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience that's both nourishing and indulgent. If you're a foodie looking for a unique and memorable experience, Vrindavan is an absolute must-visit. Be prepared to arrive hungry and leave feeling like royalty! Rating: 5/5 stars. I will be back

Google
Such a great little place. A little on the pricey side, $30 for unlimited thali, but it’s very good! Service is also top notch. The decor is super cute too, and a great atmosphere! We came here on a whim after being very disappointed by A2B across the street, not being able to accommodate our allergy concerns. We were in a rush to get to a restaurant before they close at 3pm. We immediately came to Vrindavan. They sat us down immediately and were ready to start serving us. We told them I have a gluten allergy, to which they completely understood and told us that they would make sure there’s no gluten on the thali. They substituted bread with extra rice. Food was amazing, everything had a great flavor!! And the quantity doesn’t lack, servers walk around with refills ready to serve you. The Vada was some of my fav, I enjoyed the pickle, and Kadhi was so good 😋😋🤤 Sambar was amazing as well!! Not to mention the moong daal too was so creamy and good. Pretty much everything! We were actually so happy to have some North Indian food for a change after always having South Indian. We would totally come back here again!

Google
If you are interested in North Indian Vegetarian Thali (unlimited serving). They serve only Thali, but sumptuous food that will cater to most our dietary needs. You start with a big Thali and all kinds of dishes and after that they keep coming to serve you as much as you want to eat. We went there on a Sunday for lunch and the place just starting to fill up. This place is little pricy, but good food.

Google
Wonderful vegetarian Northern Indian food! Do mind that this is an unlimited fixed price thali style restaurant: this means to the uninitiated (such as myself) that you are given a large plate with rice and breads in the center surrounded by eight mini bowls with a variety of curries. They have four or five different styles of thali, based on ingredients. The flavors are delicious and most importantly, fresh. For those who always wanted to try Indian food, but shy away because of the spice hotness, this is ideal, as the food (at least the ones I tried) was not super spicy. One of the curries was a 3 or 4 on a scale from 1 to 10, alas, I do have a moderately high tolerance for spicy food. All others are very mild in the spice level. Service was very good, with the runners always at the ready to bring more food. Again this is all-you-can-eat thali Highly recommended!!!

Google
Amazing food in a relaxing and tastefully decorated atmosphere. Videos playing in the background of India add a very special touch. The ambience is perfect for dining.

Google
We went there with high hopes of enjoying some delicious North Indian cuisine, but unfortunately, nothing had any flavor. The dal was bland and far from impressive, and even the paneer was tasteless and watery. I cannot fully express my disappointment in words. If you appreciate good food and want something flavorful, there's no reason to spend around $28 for a meal here. If you're interested in trying North Indian cuisine, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The ambiance is just as amazing as the food. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the service is prompt, and the flavors are absolutely delightful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Yelp
Food was excellent, service was really good. Highly recommended We ate Rajasthani thali. But looking at Brijwasi menu looks it will be really good. Will come again soon.

Neha G.

Yelp
We tried Brijwasi Thali on saturday, memorial day weekend and it was simply amazing and worth all the drive from Austin to Dallas. We reached there on 2:50pm and restaurant close time is 3pm. We were not sure if we'll be able to get seat but staff was very generous and was able to accommodate us even few min before. But one of the staff member did mention that you might be not able to get all the items served again after 1st time as re-fill, which is understandable. The decor was nice and had flowery theme. Thali came with all the items already served the Thali/plate. It included dhokla khaman, Haryali kebab, subz milauni, dubki wale aloo, paneer makhanwala, chana masala, Baingan Bharta, dal tadka, Rajasthani kadhi, Boondi raita, jeera rice, khichdi, bhedmi Puri, pulka roti, kesari halwa, kalam petha, Pudina chutney, Mili ki chutney, papad, aachar, kachumbar salad and pyaj. Price $25 was totally worth to try this unlimited Thali. I wouldn't advise to go this late as some of the items did run out but still worth the try.

Keke K.

Yelp
The entrance of the restaurant looks cute, all floral and green. I went with my family over the weekend, and it was busy. We had to wait more than 45 minutes for our table, probably because we were a party of five. Let's start with the disappointments: you cannot order off the menu on weekends, or maybe just on the day we went. There were limited options, or should I say a single option because we all ordered the same thali. We went to this place after looking at the pictures, so I'd say it wasn't as expected. Nothing really looked the same as in the pictures, neither the location nor the food items. I don't know it just looks so grand but not really. Now for the good: the food was okay. It was your regular, not very special, Indian thali. We had dhokla (not good), khichdi (surprisingly very good, and I don't even like khichdi), roti (white flour or whole wheat, which was soft and really nice), puri (this was my favorite), daal (great), chole (okay-ish), palak paneer (okay), some kind of potato curry (aloo dum maybe) (quite good), some other veggies with cauliflower (not good), papad, a variety of achar, and some pakoda-like stuff. Lastly, the most disappointing was the dessert, which was boondi or something, and rasgulla (okay-ish). ***Additionally, the portion sizes were very small. Of course, you can ask for more, but how many times are you going to add plus the wait time is long*** Overall, I wouldn't go here for the buffet. The service was quite slow, probably because it was crowded. We had to wait for roti puri or anything like forever, only thing that go passed around often was the potato curry. The food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary, it just looked good on the plate. I might go on a weekday when there's less wait time and more options to choose from.

Yelp
I went there for the first time at Vrindavan. I was so excited but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The AC was too high several customers requested to lower the AC including us but it was cold until we left. The food was okay and servers were not very friendly which could have made for a better experience.

Krisha P.

Yelp
Came here on a whim for my mothers birthday! The decor in the restaurant was too cute! Service was amazing the staff was friendly. The desserts are a MUST TRY! Very unique and flavorful experience in dfw!

Anvaya N.

Yelp
If anyone had not had this type of thali before you will absolutely love it. It's an experience that one has to go through for their love of food. If you had had this type of thali before, and wanted to experience it first hand in DFW, you will be disappointed. The food is just okay. Let me start off with the good. The ambiance is amazing. The decor is beautiful, and makes you want to stand below the flower canopy and admire the view of the everything around. The service staff is amazing. The servers go around asking if we need more food, if we want anything else, and if we want more. The chaas (buttermilk) is delicious and refreshing. It feels very welcoming during this hot weather. The gulab jamun is very good and soft and juicy. The food overall is good. Now getting to the bad. The wait time is crazy, when we came in the hostess told us it would take 20 minutes at the most, it took us 1 hour 10 minutes to get seated. I understand that sometimes wait times are underestimated but not by 50 minutes. The restaurant is super small (about 10-14 tables), so they let people come in to wait past the close time, this made the service staff work beyond their scheduled time and making them ask everyone at tables if they need more food or they are done (sort of rude). I think they should still have the reservation system to make sure that they don't exceed their seating capacity. The waitlist (website/app) is weird. Once we got the text our table is ready, it took our hostess another 15 minutes to take us to the table, and another 15 minutes for our food to get to the table. Continuing with the bad, the food was mediocre. The dahi vada, vadas were saltless, the dals tasted all the same (there were 2 kinds), the dhokla was same, the puri too oily, Chapati uncooked on the inside. There was nothing special about the desserts, it was just plain gulab jamun and the rasmalai wasn't good, it was too rubbery for my taste. The khichidi was very tasty, and so was the bhindi they had, but those were the only highlights. When I'm paying about $20 I would expect some special desserts, and was disappointed. Paan costs $3.5 extra. Personally I wouldn't go back, but if you are new to DFW it is an experience you do not want to miss. If you are in Houston area try Maharaj Bhog which is a good Rajasthani/Gujarati Thali place that this restaurant is similar to. I hope the restaurant improves their service and quality of food. I hope to see more positive reviews before I go back.

Yelp
If you want to gorge on a huge variety of vegetarian Indian food, this is the place. It's very cute and Instagrammable. I wish they had the refills labeled because I didn't know what was what even when they said the words. If you have an American palate, you might not like all of the desserts because some are sour. I also felt like the male servers were always offering refills to the men in my party before me, but they did always offer them to me.

Mahesh M.

Yelp
One of the best vegi buffet family dine in place, don't miss it. You will not go wrong - the way they communicate each other during serving is highlight.

Phyllis C.

Yelp
Something I loved about Vrindivan's setup is that it's like a lazy person's buffet--unlimited eating but you don't have to get up for your food, waiters will come around to refill your plate. The servers came around very frequently and were very accommodating. Anytime we wanted something, they would come over bring it immediately. It was my first time having a thali. Since we didn't know what anything was, it was helpful to have the server explain everything and how to eat it. I enjoyed being able to have a taste of so many different dishes. I especially enjoyed the endless hot roti. My only qualms were that it was a bit pricy for what it is and that the thalis seem to be prepped in advance, so you don't get hot food until you get the refills. I came here because I saw that Vrindivan was mentioned in the NYT for one of the most memorable dishes of 2022. I'd be hesitant to say the food here would top any lists, but it's a good one-time experience and easy walk-in option.

Brett K.

Yelp
I love this place. Not overly spicy and all good. Service is great. Food is great. Love it!

Preetesh V.

Yelp
The location has decent parking space. We were able to get a table on arrival but during the peak hours there could be waiting for up to 30 minutes. The decor at the entrance is very inviting and appealing. The thali is pre-plated and brought from the kitchen in a hot box trolley. The food was sumptuous and delish. There is room for improvement when it comes to food service traffic and overall management at front of the house. This place is worth a try for thali lovers and for all you can eat experience.

Jesmin N.

Yelp
We loved our experience here! I had been wanting a good thali meal for the longest time and the places we were going had very limited variety and food wasn't good over all. I loved all the dishes that we tried. They have a rotating menu in terms of what is served so I want to definitely try the other days (we went on a weekend). It is all you can eat so they keep bringing out the various dishes and you can get more of what you like. They bring around more of the breads and rice.

Ramani T.

Yelp
Food is vegetarian. Menu is set - different thali every day. It is a different experience in DFW area. This is not buffet but they serve you as much as you want. Cutlet and kichadi were my favorites.

Jocelyn G.

Yelp
The concept of this restaurant is very different from your typical Indian buffet and it was definitely a fun experience. However, I think it is overpriced for what you get. The food was good, but definitely not worth the price you pay. Overall, it was a fun to experience to try out and the food was pretty standard, but I don't think I will be returning.

Anjila S.

Yelp
The meal was delicious with a wide range of options, and the service was exceptional. We were warmly greeted and our food arrived promptly upon request. The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, especially as it was my first visit with friends from Denver. I'll definitely be returning in the future.

Leena J.

Yelp
Vri-ery IMPRESSIVE!!! We had a wonderful dining experience. Beautiful inside, absolutely gorgeous!!! We hopped in on a Wednesday evening right when they opened. They were super friendly, attentive and accommodating. I loved the yogurt milk drink!!! Reminded me of our my childhood. We loved the thali style. They continued to make their rounds with fresh puri, roti, and lots of side items. We were so pleasantly overwhelmed. We went home uncomfortably full in the best way. It was 21 dollars- I believe for a thali, with the required gratuity, but I don't think it was overpriced because you can ask for as much food as you would like. We were there early so they gave us plenty of attention and we they checked on us several times. Food tasted delicious, I like the paneer tikka masala. Purely veg and delicious. We thought everything was piping hot and fresh. They have different types of thali styles, just check out their website. I would like to try them all. I think it was worth the price. I enjoyed the experience and the friendliness!

Yelp
Delhi 6 Thali Vrindavan (like many other all you can eat food places) is a vegetarian ONLY Thali place, which means you'll have an assortment of dishes on your plate to try and the refills are unlimited. They have 3 different types of Thali's that are available on different days of the week (Monday's are off) and all have a particular signature dish. The ambiance is chic with a flower theme and bright colors. The place is big enough to accommodate bigger parties along with ample parking space. We tried out this place on a Sunday evening and they had the Delhi 6 Thali for the day. We got in relatively early so the place was empty with only a few tables occupied (this place does fill up pretty quickly with long wait times). The thali typically has around 15+ different food choices to try; at our time of visit, and this is going to be a mouthful, about 4 different Vegetable curries, 2 Dal's, 2 different sweets, Kadi, Rice, Salad, home style Pulkha Roti, Poori, Chaas (butter milk), Dahi Vada, Makhmali Kabab, Vegetable Pakoda, Khichdi with a few chutneys.(the portion size is extremely small, this is intentional so that there is no food wasted, and moreover, there is unlimited refills) Taste wise, this leans towards traditional Indian food, so you won't be blown away with spice or flavor, but there's a subtle hint of home style cooked food and authentic mild punch, with great texture. The food was fresh, the roti and poori were great, the kabab and pokara were fantastic and the Khichdi reminded me of home. The Choley Poori (which was the signature dish for this Thali) tasted yum. Not every dish they serve is great and thus the portion size. The service was quick (since it was empty at our time) and they have microphones to let the other servers know about a dish that you want. The price of Thali over the weekend is a little steep ($23.99) and they tack on 15% gratuity (not sure why this is the norm over here, anyways, service-wise, we didn't have any complaints, else this wouldn't be justified). Vrindavan is an experience, with it's unlimited Thali, to the service, to the food. All you can eat places are an overall value for money, most of the times, and this restaurant has the ingredients to champion that statement. The ambiance is modern yet grounded, the place feels airy and the service was quick. The quantity of food served here is no joke and everything felt fresh and delicious. I'd surely visit this restaurant to try out the other two thalis. Overall, a must try restaurant for all the Thali lovers.

Satish S.

Yelp
Went to Vrindavan on my visit to the area. I always want to try these kind of places when I travel because we don't have these kind of places where I live. Lot of food, good verity. The service was excellent but the food I thought was blend and lacked spices. I would go back to try different themed thali next time I'm in the area.

Himanshu S.

Yelp
The ambiance was great , the staff were very generous. The restaurant had some wait time but as expected due to weekend .We went on Friday and so they had the Rajasthani thali. The good was was very tasty ,we liked the speciality dish daal batti , galouti kebab, ras gulla . The was service was great and servers were prompt and eager to serve. Overall 5 stars .

Anand R.

Yelp
Good food. Good and clean service. Also tried their Paan and it was fantastic. One minus point for them - they don't serve chai.

Lam B.

Yelp
OK, I'm going to put this in layman's terms because I had no clue what to expect going in. When you walk in, the restaurant is decked out with low hanging flowers and gorgeous decor almost meant for a wedding. You sit down and a server brings you a large plate with eight tiny bowls of assorted food and accompaniment. Then, they come around with naan and roti as well as refills for your bowls. It's all-you-can-eat for 20 something dollars. Unlimited food, pleasant servers, and a great atmosphere. Half of the dishes were too salty, a quarter of the dishes I wouldn't eat but two bites, and a quarter were exquisite. I wish our server explained the whole experience to us especially what food we were trying. It was a fun experience but the food wasn't good enough to come back for round two.

Shweta B.

Yelp
The excitement of being able to eat a Thali in the Us was itself worth the trip haha, but that aside, the food was tasty. I am glad that they adjust portion sizes to be small since there are like 20 + dishes in your plate. That allows you to enjoy everything and take seconds for what you like. The curries were home-style, fresh, and not too heavy. The paneer, dhaba dal, kofta, chana, and dhokla were delicious. The tikki and the halwa were not great, but that didnt matter. We had the delhi 6 thali and i hope to go back to try the Rajasthani and Gujarati Thalis. The price is a bit steep, but for unlimited food perhaps thats okay. Id say go with a big apetite.

Shikha C.

Yelp
Food was decent, enough variety in the thali so even for a set menu it was good experience. Service was efficient and was cheerful. Host even took our pictures with great enthusiasm. Interior was very nicely done, except for one missing tv screen on one of the setup

Priya G.

Yelp
I went to this place for the first on my birthday they were serving Rajasthani thali. We had a fantastic time and food. The staff is very friendly and attentive towards refills. This place is usually fully booked with long wait times being early is the only way to ensure a spot. They have Delhi, Rajasthani, and Brijwasi Thali served on designated days. Once you have been seated they start bringing the thalis to your table along with water and lassi. Thali is full of a variety of popular regional items. They keep coming around many times for additional servings, trust me you will not remain hungry. Thali bowl sizes are pretty small so you can try everything without wasting. Costs around $25.00 but it's all with it. I will visit this place again to try their other thali too would also recommend this place.

Maggie K.

Yelp
A one time experience for the vegetarians. Because this is a vegetarian restaurant and serve the quality food. Their speciality is thali. Everyday they have one particular thali for all. It's an exclusive restaurant for that special occasion I'd say! It's more like a seated unlimited buffet style with limited food items. The service is on call to your table. Plenty of staff to manage everything. With my visit I only dint like the wait time to get a table as it was a national holiday so the crowd was big. The place looks elegant and classy with modern elements at the entrance and nothing fancy about the seats, just casual dining. The Thali I had consisted- poori, sabjji, flavored rice, sweet, Dhokla pakora chutney yogurt sauce and a few more.

Monali D.

Yelp
We were here on a Tuesday and there was Rajasthani thali on the menu. They have three types of thali, Tuesday and Friday is Rajasthani, thursday and Sunday Delhi 6 thali, Wednesday and Saturday Brijwasi thali. Isn't that amazing? I enjoyed the Rajasthani thali. The ambience and the service is great. The thali is unlimited, they come to your table and serve (second serving and more). The rotis (phulkas) are perfect, I don't know of a place in Dallas that serves hot delicious phulkas. For the dessert I loved the churma and the Gond ka halwa, so good! Dal baati was yummm too! Galouti Kabab was hot, crispy and so delicious with the mint and tamarind chutney. Also the Chaas (buttermilk) which is offered first is delicious but save it for the end cos it can fill you quickly and you may not be hungry enough for the thali :). Looking forward to trying other Thalis. Note: they are closed on Monday.

Syeda H.

Yelp
I'd seen a lot of pictures of Vrindavan and wanted to give it a try. The place is decorated nicely and the service is quick, but unfortunately the food was not at the same level. At first glance, the plate looks beautiful with all the different dishes, but after trying all of them none stood out. They all lacked the strong flavor that I'd expect especially from the Delhi thali. The dahi vada and khaman were very dry. The only item I liked was the makhmali kabab. Overall all though the service was great, I wouldn't recommend the food here.

Nikhil C.

Yelp
Vrindavan is a unique dining experience in Frisco. Unique because this restaurant serves regional North Indian cuisine (which isn't easily found in Frisco) which is pre-determined for the day, and the food is served on a Thali (meaning a plate in Hindi)- which is pre-loaded with a variety of curries, lentils, appetizers and side dishes.. This is a traditional Indian way of serving food, and I haven't found many places that do this is North Texas. Delhi-6 Thali was being served on the day we visited, and contained the quintessential North Indian Punjabi dishes of Palak Paneer, Chole (Chickpeas), Kadhi, Masala Bhindi (Okra).. All of these dishes tasted good, but were quite mildly spiced. Some lacked the depth of flavor that regional Punjabi / Delhi food is known for.. What was really good however was the Dahi Bhalla chaat appetizer which was soaked in yoghurt and served alongside the spicy mint and sweet tamarind chutneys which were both great! The desserts were great, too! Though the food and desserts were quite tasty - I feel there are minor missteps in execution which dilutes the experience at Vrindavan.. We've been to this place a couple times - and the food is always served from a pre-loaded trolley.. meaning, the food has always been lukewarm at best when you first receive it. And, there are always inconsistencies in the Rotis / Parathas - some are soft and fluffy, and some are thick and barely cooked. That said, we always find ourselves dining back at this place when we crave comfort food. Just make sure you go to this place on an empty stomach to get your money's worth!

Harish V.

Yelp
JUST A ONE TIME EXPERIENCE( actually you can ignore) Highly expensive for the food they serve. 2nd time here and warned a friend but he wanted to try so ended up here and they dint have some items but still had same price. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING !!

Kishan S.

Yelp
Vrindavan was an experience! For those who are unfamiliar, Vrindavan only serves thali. Every day their thali option changes so be sure to check in advance. I would make a reservation As it can be extremely busy. The food was phenomenal with so many options. While it is pricey per plate (21-24) it was totally worth it. Keep in mind it is unlimited so go there with a huge hunger. I can't wait to be back!

Ram S.

Yelp
The food was fresh and light. Even with puris . The service is great , suggest getting there by 12 as it can get busy. Don't worry about the food they have it covered. Since they don't have a selection it makes life easier. The thali comes and one can eat to hearts content. Go there with an appetite and in the mood to eat brij wasi food. Will go again and try out the other two choices.

Noshin J.

Yelp
Dallas's first all you can eat THALI!!!! Amazing variety of authentic dishes! We went on a Saturday and they had Brijwasi Thali: You get 4 curries , 4 daals, 2-3 appetizers, roti/puri/papaad, chutneys/achaar, rice, buttermilk, 2 desserts.... But you can get more as you wish! All flavors were right on!!! Not too spicy and not bland either- it was enjoyable and was easy on the tummy!!! The service was excellent and decor was pleasant! They do add 15% gratuity to all tables, so you cheap desis who don't pay tip- don't argue- it's worth it!! The paan is also additional but great!! We will be back to try the Rajasthani Thali!

Michelle T.

Yelp
Cool experience but not for the amateur Indian food enthusiast. First off - I made this reservation weeks in advance and asked via Yelp if they served alcohol or were BYOB - ANSWER IS THEY DO NOT - but the question was never answered and in trying to call prior to the day of my reservation no one picked up the phone. But hey not having alcohol isn't the end of the world but as this is the case I would have preferred it for lunch versus a Friday dinner with friends but they are currently only open for dinner. The sampler style cuisine is great for trying things and they come by a few times for refills but I felt they came by too quickly in the beginning so I wasn't ready for a refill (as I was still sampling everything and catching up with the friends I was having dinner with). I would HIGHLY recommend leaving a pitcher of water on each table as the cups are tiny and food is salty/spicy more water would have been great! As for the ambiance, cute entrance but softer lighting and more booths would be ideal. Not sure if we'll be back but did enjoy the experience.

Arpitha B.

Yelp
The only 2 things that're nice about this restaurant are the ambience and service. There are so many restaurants that have instagrammable walls nowadays so I would rather go there. Servers are really nice and attentive. When the concept of the restaurant is an expensive Thali which includes 12 different dishes in a small quantity so that you can try them all, I atleast expect half of the dishes to taste great. I probably liked 2 dishes out of all of them. A lot of the dishes were sweet or filled with ghee. The lassi was good. I know There is excitement whenever a new upscale Indian restaurant opens but you can definitely skip this one.

Shoba S.

Yelp
Well assumed with different themes, food would taste different but phew .. paneer masala tastes like other food items in the Thali. It's like same masala and spices used across all items. Service was decent some of the staff were really good and some ok. It's like afternoon one type of service evening another with same folks. It's a one time try place.

Yelp
It was good. I ate there when we came after temple. And the service was absolutely fantastic, the staff was super nice and the food was good. They even have the different kinds of sweets which you can order separately. Definitely be back.

Yelp
As beautiful as the restaurant and Thali looked, the food didn't meet expectations. The curries we're ok but the puri and roti was not good at all. The service is also kind of slow after you sit down.

Yelp
I wasn't initially sure about this place as I am not a pure vegetarian but now I'm in love with their Thalis They can never disappoint you no matter what day of the week it is. They constantly make sure we have all dishes in our plates and the service is good as well. Their seeets are a must try We always visit this place when we are in Texas

Yelp
Large variety but not every dish is equally tasty or authentic. Shop ambience is nice.

Yelp
During my recent trip to Dallas, I stumbled upon a restaurant that served veg thali, I love thali. Despite my excitement, the overall experience left me feeling disappointed. Due to the large crowd, my party and I had to wait for a table, which we were willing to do. However, even after being seated, it took quite some time for the food to arrive. To make matters worse, we had to repeatedly request refills of certain items, such as bread (puri), which we asked for several times before receiving one. The food itself was good, but the slow service detracted from the thali experience. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, but I wish the staff had been more attentive and efficient. Although the food and atmosphere were pleasant, I don't think I would return due to the slow service and relatively high prices.

Yelp
I loved their Rajasthani thali so much! I really stuffed myself. I was yearning to get some vegetarian authentic food in US but never hit the mark. This does! will try more. The service was also super good

Yelp
Awesome authentic food. Great ambience. Service is good but they do get busy. I like to go early to beat the rush.

Yelp
Giving this place 1 star is generous! This is a thali place (sat night).. sparsely crowded.. but there were very few employees to take care of guests.. an unlimited thali such as this hinges on getting refills on the veggies or the bread.. it was hard to get anything refilled given the workload of the relatively few employees there - they seemed exhausted.. and they were literally stinking... the food itself was so-so.. but you end up having absolutely have NO chance to enjoy the food in the midst of trying to get someone's attention for a panner or a veggie or what not.. as a side note - i got diet coke - which was served WARM.. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

Yelp
I got pita bread and fried vegetable ball. Most of the time I tore pieces of the bread off and dipped it in the sauces. It didn't feel that satisfying to eat. Half of the sauces were too spicy for me. The waiter came around to give us multiple refills of the bread. They only came around once to give us more of the vegetable ball. The weekly special was some kind of bread that was sitting in a sauce. I didn't like it. They gave us water and some kind of milk. I did not like the milk. It tasted like a strange mix of soy milk and yogurt. This is a very authentic northern Indian place. It was also completely vegetarian. However, I prefer more americanized Indian food. I prefer hardier foods like curry, and I feel like the pita bread just didn't hit the spot for me. Buffet was $30.

Yelp
After a long & continuous persuasion I could convince my family to go to a "veg" buffet and I am sure many can feel my efforts to force my regular family to eat ghasphus on a Saturday. It took rather less time than expected to get a table. Just to get the table alone not the food. My son & me were following the race of who received food ahead of us though they came late. Finally the plate was served but it took noticeable time for the bread to be dished out. The starters were good. Dhokla was super soft and I guess sabhudana wada was ok types. The curries were below average to average. Sowmya said we make better curries at home. The service was very bad and literally had to ask for everything twice before getting served. The bill was out of the roof 88.67$ for two adults and a kid with 3 paans. If you are wondering why 2 ** for so bad rating. It's for the ambience and presentation of food and cleanliness of the place. P.S. Please do not buy the paans, they weren't fresh and were dripping the juice indicating that it was packed in the recent days but not today. The 2$ paan at the paan place at al-markhaz is way to better than this.

Yelp
Apart from food being given to us after 25mins into the order, everything else was great! food was nice. ambience was great.

Yelp
This place offers three different Thali options; however, only one is served each day. I went on a Saturday, so I could only try the Brijwasi Thali. I personally really enjoyed the meal. Everything went well together and had lots of flavor. Also, you can get unlimited food for the price you pay, so make sure to go on an empty stomach. They do require reservations, so make sure to do that before heading over. Tuesday-Thursday, the Thali costs $21.99 and from Friday-Sunday, it's $23.99. 15% gratuity is added to all checks. The one thing I didn't care for is the customer service, the staff could definitely have been a bit friendlier.

Yelp
I guess Its all about hype, and definitely not worth for the price of $27.10 (with default 15% tips) around DFW area, good ambiance, friendly employees, decent service, not too many varieties, taste is okay but it can be better, and the reservation process sucks. The lady at the entrance didn't pass the vibe check, overall NOT recommended unless you wanna see what the hype is.

Yelp
Excellent food. Great ambiance. This is really good quality Indian food in the Frisco area.
