When I first walked in and saw Marina Bay Sands, my mind was blown away. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants with views of Marina Bay Sands, but VUE has the best one because it’s directly opposite, giving an unobstructed view. Most other places are off to the side.
Talking about the interior, when the sun is setting, the roof turns golden and yellowish, making the place feel even more beautiful and classy. However, it can get a bit dark.
I went there to celebrate my birthday, so we ordered the 6-course meal. I would say the cold starter, beef carpaccio, was really nice. The hot appetizer, lobster tail, was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every bite. The tempura, however, was nothing impressive.
For the mains, we chose the Spanish octopus and the trio of beef. Unfortunately, the portions were really small, and the taste was bland. We both didn’t quite like them.Last but not least, I ordered the chocolate espuma with cherry, it melted in my mouth. I loved it.
After much consideration, I think we paid more for the view and service than for the food.
