Waffle House

I went here on Saturday 5-3-2025 after Cash Money Millionaires Concert. I received great service and quality food delicious. I got the Waffle House Special. 2 eggs,2 meats, toast and a choice of hash brown or grits and a waffle. I upgraded my waffle from plain to pecan and I got a extra blueberry waffle on the side.

I order food here && I never had a problem . But they really tired it and don’t have no consideration . I checked my food before I left and I ask why is my waffle small like . The young man on night shift told me y’all had a new waffle machine that’s why it’s so “small “ and I just knew it was a lie . On why my waffle is so small . This very disrespectful . && I won’t order again from this location cause why all my waffles look a different size.very ghetto plus my hash has jalapeños in it . I never said I wanted that in my hash they just give me what they wanted it . SMH

The service was good. The dining room was clean. This location has two take-out windows for late-night orders (since the dining room is closed to customers during late evening hours). The restroom was fairly clean. The food was thoroughly cooked. My sandwich had onions on it even though I said no onions. But, I didn't let it ruin my day. The rest of the food was made correctly. I would return here in the future. The cook told me that this location experiences late night drive-by shootings within the vicinity of this restaurant. The parking lot to this waffle house is only accessible via the "Circle-K Gas Station Parking Lot". A jukebox was available to paying customers. Handicap parking, tables and restrooms were available to those who need them.

Dee Dee was our server and she took forever to take out our drinks and we waited 30 minutes. She also charge my friends for drinks they didn’t have and brought wrong drinks as well. Her service was just terrible. The other two servers were quick and friendly. We felt bad for bothering them but they were really sweet.

I took my visiting mother here for her early morning coffee fix. Great food, of course. It's the Waffle House. The hostess was inviting with a nice authentic smile on her face. Highly recommend.

While I love Waffle House, my most recent experience was less than par. My food was not as i had ordered it. While I was charged for the extra toppings on my hashbrown bowl, it was missing from my food.

So apparently they only do takeout orders in the morning until they get properly staffed which is no problem at all I don't mind doing the takeout order. The waitress was very kind very sweet and also very patient. I got my food in less than 10 minutes, the crazy part is it's only two people in there and they're running things like their full staff. I think I'm going to come back in the evening or afternoon when they're fully staff and see how the service is but as of right now I absolutely love the service no complaints at all.

I love waffle House I always have a great experience when I come here friendly waitresses that always accommodate me growing up in Michigan we did not have a waffle house and I would have to travel all the way to Ohio on Sundays just to have breakfast there so I appreciate the fact of being in Georgia and being able to go just a couple of streets away and being able to eat my breakfast that I love.

Sat down for 15 minutes and no service. Fully staffed with hardly any guest. Unacceptable.

Every time I come here, my experience is good! Maybe because I come early morning, rather than late evenings, im not too sure but I always have good experiences. My food is always hot when served. The customer service is always good, and someone is ALWAYS wiping down or cleaning the bathroom. This is actually one of my favorite locations to visit when im on that side of town. Good job team! Keep up the good work :)

How are you not taking orders at Waffle House ? If that's the case just close for the night . Nasty work . I'll never go there again

So Dirty and the woman who worked there did not greet us and the bar stools were oily and we stood there for 5 mins disgusted and left. The grill looks like It hasn't been cleaned in 6 years . I was looking forward to eating at a classic . So so disappointing in the 2 staff there and the state of the entire establishment .

This place was one of the worst waffle houses I have ever had. I ordered online and received my order an hour later than expected.

Service is terrible. Only had 3 customers waiting for food with 4 workers & told us they couldn't take anymore orders.

Wellll welll wellll where should I start... I'll start with Antwone, the cook, was awesome.... So awesome I tipped him and not our server Alexis who was not rude but uninterested....pictured below is the cashier sitting on the counter

The food was good, and came out hot, But it took longer than expected based on the amount of people that were there. (If you're vegetarian or don't want meat, don't get the grilled cheese or anything that's cooked on the grill, because they make it on the same area as the meat.)

I had the best experience here, cant wait to come back! My cheese and tomato omelet was on point, my hashbrowns were in the shape of a heart , and everyone was SO FRIENDLY! Definitely will be back!

I'm assuming they just pay them to sit outside and smoke all night and tell customers that there closed. Ridiculous I had to sit outside the store and watch them watch me wait until they finally decided to enter from the back just to tell me that they were not serving anyone. Sad. I get not having the help and needing to be closed. But when you have the staff on hand and they are still refusing to assist anyone its just not right.

It's waffle house. I don't have high expectations but the food is always consistent. I try to keep it simple and just get a waffle with egg and bacon. Never had a real problem with the food but the restaurant could be a bit more clean.

I kid you not this is literally one of the best waffle house experiences I have ever had. This location is at the corner of Candler Road in Memorial this is my first time here but I've driven past here many times. There is ample parking as it is next to a gas station you have to pull in at the gas station entrance. When my cousin and I walked in the manager opened the door for us which was a really nice thing to do. we sat down at nakias table. I wasn't sure whether to get the sprite or the sweet tea so I asked her if the sweet tea was Sweet. She bought me a sample of sweet tea in a little cup which was a really kind gesture most people don't do that. The sweet tea was perfect by the way. My cousin told me to get the chicken. I thought oooohhh... chicken?? but she was right the grilled chicken was really good. So I had grilled chicken, scrambled eggs with cheese, hashbrowns and a waffle. My waffle was perfect without me having to coach them and without me having to ask them to not cook it too long so it's not too hard. it was perfectly browned and was soft. Nakia was so nice. Our food was hot and was prepared fast. Even the cooks greeted us when we walked in. We have found our new Waffle House. Ask for the grilled chicken... it is not on the menu but it was very good

EXCELLENT customer service . All African Americans employed here I love it . Keep doing what y'all doing cus I appreciate y'all very much!! I will come back here in the future

I live not far from here so I decided to come back here the other day because it was raining and I had my son. Same exact issue, different staff, different time of day (I went for breakfast in my previous review. Dirty tables, no acknowledgement. They won't even answer the phone. After several minutes of waiting we left and Went to the location on Columbia Dr. We walked in to clean tables, and guess what else....Acknowledgment. I won't return to this location due to proximity or whether it's raining or not. Every other Waffle House I have been to in and out of GA at least greets the patrons, and if a table is dirty they will clean it off when they see a patron. This location is seriously lacking customer service skills and basic cleanliness.

I saw the menu posted on the window & chose what I wanted BEFORE going in so I could get straight to it. I wanted a $5.25 2 egg breakfast special. 2 employees were in there at 5:15pm on Oct. 22, 2022. A young male and a female senior citizen. She asked what I wanted, I said "one of those $5 breakfast specials, the one with the...." the female snapped at me in front of everyone & sarcastically said, "When's the last time you been in here! We ain't had no $5 special in YEEAAARRRS!!" I said "Ma'am, I just saw a $5.25...." she cut me off again. She yanked a menu off the counter & snapped "Well which one!!? We got several, you gotta tell me which one!!" While rolling her neck. I tried to point at the $5.25 breakfast special I was referring to, but she kept being petty, flipping the menu back & forth, not letting me point to what I want. She just kept running her mouth about how I need to be specific. I said "I'm trying to be, but you keep...." She cut me off again & pointed to some angus burger and I said, "No, if you would just let me show you, jeez, I want the..." She threw that nasty, cantakerous, grouchy, grumpy, sick-and-tired of picking cotton tone at me for the last time. I said nevermind and walked out. On my way out, the young man asked her what was wrong, she lied and said " She didn't even know what she wanted!" She is bitter, mad at the world and taking it out on customers. She either needs a nap or to retire.

Went here with my daughter and from the moment we opened the door, we were greeted with respect and friendliness. The place was clean, the service was fast and the ambiance was very amicable. Nice little place for a quick bite or to catch up with family and friends. I recommend it.

The Food was great. I ordered Tbone and eggs and it was cooked to perfection. The service was Excellent. Nakita was so nice and she got everything right. She smiled the entire time and I never had to ask for a refill on coffee. I wish more people believed in Excellent customer service. My hat goes off to you all. I pass 3 Waffle Houses to come to the one on Memorial Dr and Glenwood Rd.

Love the service here, best atmosphere I ever experienced at a Waffle House. I'm honestly so surprised it felt like home.

All good things come to an end. And I know, it's just Waffle House, and what did I expect. We started going here as soon as it opened. It's our neighborhood restaurant. Up til tonight, we always had good food and good service. Tonight we walked in and the place looked like hell. The cook was eating a pork chop and the obviously depressed waitress was surly. They screwed up an entire order. Brought out eggs solo, forgot the toast. 5 minutes later she mentioned hashbrowns were coming. Completely forgot about our waffle. Never brought the check-- she was busy eating and talking on the phone. No refills. It sucks now.

Make sure you see Kayla she's the sweetest server! Food was great never had a problem with service here at all!

I walked in the waffle house and waited 20 minutes to get service... Not a single mention of do I need anything or any hospitality whatsoever! I feel like I was disrespected simply by the way I look but maybe I'm paranoid. I don't think they like white people around here so much it's not my fault though

First of all, Merry Christmas! Yes, I'm at Waffle House for breakfast! It's a Christmas tradition for my friends and I before dinner later in the day. This Waffle House is on my normal daily route so we met here. It was really busy but service was really great. Janae was the young lady who served me and she did an excellent job(great smile also!. She and Miss Darlene really teamed well to take care of me. My food came out really fast which was surprising since they were so busy. The food was delicious which is my normal WH experience. I will definitely keep coming here simply because of the service even tho the food is great. Now I shall talk to you all later as I have business to finish with this Pecan Waffle and scrambled eggs with cheese!

Today, at work, someone complained that our service was worse than Waffle House, and I thought to myself, how funny because Waffle House has the best service in ATL. Ms. Q is the most friendliest, honest, respectful server in the game. Thank you for always giving us the best service, I can't give my customers.

This is Probably THE BEST WAFFLE HOUSE EVERR,THE SERVER MRS.DEE was the BOMB.COM and if YOU EVER WANT a good server pleaseee go to her,she made sure our food was Good and the atmosphere there was AWESOME and I give this Waffle House 5 stars!

I love ordering take-out from this Waffle House which is conveniently right outside of my neighborhood. When I order my hash browns well done, they know what well done means and they are always good and crispy. The staff has always been friendly. I definitely prefer getting my food to-go as sometimes there are some "interesting" characters hanging around and inside of this WH.

Horrible !!!!! The first time I came here I was on a Friday night around 5 am. My fiancé had already ordered about 8 mins prior to my arrival. I arrived with two young ladies they ordered food when we arrived. I expected my phone to be done ahead of theirs as I did order over the phone. Long story short 45 mins later both my friends received their food and when I received my 50 mins into being there it was cold. I told my waitress. She said it wasn't her fault my food was cold. She then told me that I had ordered it a while ago. Her and the cook got into it arguing over who's fault it was. This is the worst ghetto place ever I guess when management is away at night the ghetto crew comes.

Horrible serivice my first time ever in Atlanta ... the workers were arguing over who was doing what order, they were listening to music when cooking my food , I went to sleep for 30 minutes waiting on my food & then a seen a roach ! I had to go ! I never want to go there again it's disgusting there

This is my neighborhood WH and I come here relatively often. They have a woman who works here named Dee who is the absolute epitome of great customer service. If she is not the manager/owner, she should get a raise/promotion because she treats everyone like it is her restaurant.

Always get good service at Waffle House but this location is great! I usually bring kids to this location and they are very patient and helpful with that. Location is clean, high chairs and boosters are as well. Gets busy on "snow days" though. Still very accommodating.

I came here a few years ago and it was terrible. I was reluctantly dragged back here this past weekend and wow what a change. Its obvious this place must be under new management or something. Last time was dirty with terrible service. This time every single employee greeted me with a smile and a "good morning". The area was clean. Employees were proactive. Very happy and I cant wait to return.

How ironic that I've lived in Georgia for years and never went to a waffle house until July 3rd? After watching the fireworks we were trying to figure out a cheap and fast place that we could go find food and a diner popped into our minds. The first thing that we thought of was Majestic but we wanted something different. So we head over to the closest Waffle House which for me, the foodie, was going to be an interesting adventure. When we drove up the first thing I thought was, "this is super tiny and it's going to be bad service as it was a holiday." I was dead wrong! The service was amazing. We were greeted with hearty hellos as we walked in. And I love how the booths are connected to the kitchen so that you can see everything that's happening. Our waiter was attentive and kind throughout the entire meal. I was really impressed. The cooks were cheerful and singing or chatting happily while they were cooking which was fun to watch. And I have to say that the meal that I indulged in was absolutely tasty - - hashbrowns with mushrooms and a peanut butter waffle. Oh yes. Delicious. And unlike most diners, the hashbrowns were super crispy and not greasy and not dripping with oil. How they were so perfected it is beyond me. I will never again judge the great Waffle Houses of this fine city.

No idea how this Waffle House is only 3.5 stars. This is the best one I've ever been to, and I've eaten my share of hash browns. They also have the best 'to go' system of any Waffle House I've seen. Smart!

This is the friendliest Waffle House ever. Service is on top of it 24 hours a day. Food is prepared quick and cooked just like I'm sure Mr. Waffle House would like it. This waffle House should get an award, I tell ya. This morning really made my day. They were slammed jammed busy, fully staffed and working like comical ballerinas behind the counter. They got their groove on over there in East Lake, I tell ya!

Sorry, I don't get it. No offense to those that do, but there are so many really good breakfast choices in Atlanta and Decatur why choose a greasy diner?

I have been to many Waffle Houses over the years. This one by far is the BEST!!! They greet you when you come through the door. The place is clean. There is a diverse clientele from all the differnet dynamics of society. The food is great! The service was expedient and I will definitely make this my Waffle House of choice!

Just had the best experience at a Waffle House I've ever had. Teona was our server and she was incredibly sweet and helpful. The food was awesome. Haven't had this place in a while and was craving it super bad and I'm so glad we went. Good experiences definitely make up for the bad ones at this place.

Awful house. I've been here against my will with usually a family member. This waffle house really is awful. I use take out cups and silverware when I dine in any waffle house because of the bad experiences ive had here in the past. (1)They gave my mom a cup of coffee with lipstick on the side. I noticed it first and wanted to leave. The waitress apologized and gave her another cup of coffee. God knows if she poured the same coffee in another cup which she should not have done. Idk. (2) they served me a rubbery waffle as if it had been sitting out or returned. It was served with greasy bacon as if it had been sitting out as well. I tried to eat it but messed over it. I complained to the waitress and she said she couldn't do anything because I had eaten part of it. My mom left her a tip. I took it back and gave it to a homeless guy. (3) I went in with my aunt one time and clearly asked for a glass of water in a to go cup. The waitress brought me a regular glass of water. And she got an attitude when I told her that's not what I asked for. God knows if she poured that same water in a to go cup. (4) the main reason I get plastic cups and plastic utensils when eating in places like that is because I was served water in a dirty glass. I had drank out of the glass but once i saw it had something dirty actually stuck on the inside of the glass, I stopped drinking it. I wasn't the one to complain because I wasn't the one paying for the meal and it was never my choice to eat there. They deserve no stars and need to be shut down. (5) I ordered take out for me and someone. All this happened at the same Awful House. I watched the waitress, COOK my waffle. Hmm. So, it got stuck and she flipped it with her bare hand but it burned her as it was hot. She wiped her hands on her clearly dirty black work pants that already had something white on them. And then she proceeded to flip my waffle again and place it in the to go container. And these same people, well usually they have different employees each time I went in...but I ordered a salad one time to go. I got home and it was just a dish of lettuce. Wow. No tomatoes or nothing. I haven't been back and refuse to go back and would not recommend my friends, family or anyone to eat there to be honest. I already told my friends and family. It's a shame I have to give them a star on this app. P.s. they need to stop using these dirty rags, washcloths to wipe down these tables. Cross contamination. This is one place that needs to be reported, shut down or inspected thoroughly.
