This Waffle House advertises 24-hour service; however, when my boyfriend and his father arrived, they were informed that the kitchen was “done cooking,” despite staff still preparing food for others. This was disappointing and unprofessional. The situation gave the impression of possible unfair treatment, which is unacceptable in any business setting. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure all customers are treated with fairness and respect.

I was really excited about trying out this place since we were visiting in Houston so we decided to stop and give it a try. Firstly judging by the view through the windows it was crowded and small. We went in anyways and sat at the waiting area by the entrance since we were looking to get a booth. We waited about 20 mins before a booth became available and cleaned up but the only problem was the only busboy they had was moving slow as hell. Im not sure if he didn't feel like working or what but he would take a few dirty plates one at a time and then finally use the same dirty rag he wiped up all the other tables with. When we finally sat down our waitress comes over and you can clearly tell shes also not wanting to be at work either. She was not friendly, never came to check in on us and the only time she came with a refill was when she saw us getting ready to get up and go pay. By then it was too late we had already been sitting there with no refills for half of our meal. The food was bland. My scrambled eggs were dry, the waffle was paper thin and my hashbrowns had no taste. Tbh the only thing that I enjoyed was the buttered triangle toast. The bacon was meh.. I ordered a coke with my meal but I had to ask to exchange it because it had a chemical taste to it so I ordered a Sprite and that too tasted like chemicals. I would def not recommend this place or ever eat here again. I enjoy tipping but if you are not going to give me good service I will NOT tip you. Honestly Mcdonald's breakfast tastes so much better than this and I dont like Mcdonalds much.

Waffle House is one of our favorites. Waffles are good & watching the cooks entertaining. Service always good. Food usually consistent from one location to the other. Very nice server at this one.

Very nice and friendly staff. Food was great price and made well. Waitress very attentive even tho it was very busy for her. I had no complaints! Would definitely come back again.

Good quality breakfast. Simple eggs and chicken sausage were delicious. Their pecan waffle was nice as well

me and my cousin come to Waffle House every summer for our tradition of getting the super awesome amazing (and recommended) grilled cheese. we get it every year and we’re so glad it stays the same. thanks waffle house! p.s our waiter Cindy was awesome and super sweet!!

We love Waffle House. We love how we can just order as much as we want as a family and it's still so affordable. No fights. Good service. We had a pretty large party. 4 kids and 4 adults. All delicious

It's not the stuff one dreams off, but it's decent, reliable, and one of the few places left close to an old fashioned cafe breakfast. Service can be spotty, but those workers are working fast and furious. I can tell it's not an easy job.

This had to be the most pleasant waffle House experience I have ever had! I have been to several waffle houses, my husband has no clue why I like waffle house due to the environment, but that is based on previous locations- thus I brought my son. This location was calm, quite clean both, the seating area and the cooking area. Service was on point and food was delicious. We will return.

Waffle House is an American Institution and just awesome. This location is my favorite. The same waitress and cooks. They do a great job and their service is tops. The food is always fresh made and tastes great. Gotta love the family ambiance that is always on display. Here even Trevor Lawerence loves him some Waffle House.

My wife and I stumbled on this location, because we were heading the wrong way on 59 after a concert at the Smart Financial Centre. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was so good. Nothing fancy -- waffle, burger, eggs, hash browns. But cooked well, withing sight, makes all the difference. Really good coffee. Don't sleep on Waffle House, you could do a lot worse for a nice inexpensive meal.

My first time ever at a Waffle House. Had a pleasant experience on Christmas night. Tried their waffle and had their Texas melt. Both were good and had a little bit of a wait. Restaurant was a little dated and a bit dirty, but understandable during a holiday and with limited personnel. Will definitely try their waffle with chocolate chips next time.

How many people (including myself) were moved to visit a Waffle House after that? Millions perhaps? This one I visited in Rosenberg, TX is by far the best Waffle House I've ever been to. That's not saying much. Most of them are dangerous, frequented by all kinds of villainous folk. This Waffle House is clean. The staff is friendly. The patrons are normal people. And, the food is absolutely delicious. I start with the incredible breakfast sandwich with buttered and toasted Texas toast, two eggs over easy with a melted slice of American cheese, and two strips of bacon (to which I add a little tobasco). It is the perfect breakfast food. Side of delicious sausages and hash browns. Everyone cooked to perfection. Orange juice and coffee. Is there anything more American? Of course, what trip to Waffle House would be complete without their specialty - the waffle? The waffle has its own plate. Once the butter has melted, now you can add the maple syrup. Never before. I'm in my happy place. Their waffle is a gift from Heaven. So good. I'm so grateful. And, now I'm so full. Thank you Waffle House. I love you.

Pretty good service overall. Tables were sticky but food was exceptional. Restaurant felt cozy as well; fan of the atmosphere here.

Waited over 20 minutes to be seated. Half the restaurant was empty, but employees never greeted us or acknowledged us as a party of 3. Ended up leaving without even being seated.

Great food and good service. Haven't had a bad experience yet. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is craving Waffle House.

Food is not the issue here, although the service that this specific Waffle House provides is very shaky, this the only Waffle House in Rosenberg so technically we have to deal with it

This place is so underrated. The food always comes out hot and delicious. And the wait is next to nothing! They bring you refills, make good food, and are always so friendly. My husband and I have stopped going across the freeway to Denny's, because they take forever and the service is terrible. Same with the IHOP on Reading Rd. If you want to wait forever to get orders taken and food brought out and no refills? Then go the Denny's or IHOP. But that won't happen here at Waffle House.

The quintessential Waffle House experience! No wait for seating, food was on the table within 5 minutes of ordering, coffee was hot and fresh and our waitress greeted us with a smile and refilled our coffee without asking!

Texas patty melt was so fire, hash browns were perfect. Jo was an amazing server, she really took care of our table. I'm visiting from California so I'll definitely be coming back before I leave.

LOVE YOU WAFFLE HOUSE! We just went to Waffle House on Sunday and all the food was just as fresh and delicious as before! Staff was friendly and food was served in a jiffy! Biscuits, bacon, eggs were so fresh and delicious and hash browns crispy on the edges and moist on the inside. Waffles are so big that I shared mine with my husband. With COVID-19 going on the seating in the dining room was well spaced out and there are no waiting chairs. Luckily when we went there was no one else waiting. We only had to wait for a couple of minutes for staff to clean up a table before we got seated. It's best to look up the menu on your own phone but they will provide you with a menu. Great job Rosenberg Waffle House!

Pretty standard breakfast fare. The pecan waffle was delicious, the bacon was crispy, the star of the show was the hash browns. Service was great despite a very crowded scene. My only complaint was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was HOT! It appeared the staff even noticed but no one bothered to remedy the situation.

Great establishment for late night eatery. I get the usual and famous waffle with sausage potatoes. Their service is what true hospitality is about. The servers have a nice smile and is charming in their way. The place is open 24 hour. I can vouch that the place is pretty safe within the midnight hours. After the ungodly hours, it is pretty much the drunk crowd. I enjoy their cup of joe because it does have a good body and flavor. I wish there was one in San Antonio.

Ok first off this a typical Waffle House, crazy, lots of people for breakfast but line moves fairly fast. In order to accommodate seating that many people the tables get wiped to the floor and every so often someone cleans the floor. The food comes out quick and correct. I like that the waitress writes the orders down on the check( only paying for what is on there). I think most other places think they can keep it in their head and food comes out wrong( IHOP). Yes this place is messy but I don't come here for fine dinning I have eaten at most places in Rosenberg and for breakfast on a Sunday morning this is best

The food here was good and the service was great. We had a lady named Linda Lou serve us. We did have a fly trying to help us eat and when the bill came out he didn't want to pay his share. The place is clean and friendly what else do you need for a quick bite to eat.

Been eating here for over 15 years and it's still holding up since my first visit. They are known for they're waffles and get them! They're soft but not spongy and you can taste the creaminess in the batter. Also worth plugging are they're Cheese 'N Eggs, love them. Their sausage is better then their bacon, their bacon is dried out and it's like a cracker than a chewy crunchy bacon. And lastly they do made a very good burger some times I get a burger from here then those fast food chains. Cheaper and much much taster. Food 9/10. Service 5/10

The best experience customer service wise and food wise. Never going to IHOP again. Always checked on me and delivered quality food for my girlfriend and I. All time best place to go.

My Grandson went this afternoon and our waitress was amazing... Jen knew her Business ... she suggested a few things we tried and was very good... the cook David cook everything spot on ... I usually don't do reviews very much but in this case I had to .... we are staying at a motel next to this Waffle House while we work here and definitely will be back thanks to these two .... David & Jen go check them out

Most staff are NOT wearing a mask. The two that are have their nose exposed. No social distancing. AVOID.

I normally love Waffle House, but was disappointed this morning. I went in a little after 8:00am today (Monday) and was able to be seated immediately. It went downhill from there... No smile or sign of being friendly from the waitress. 39 degrees outside, and the a/c started up. Food was okay, but nobody bothered to ask if I needed anything. No Coffee refill offered, and my waitress disappeared into the back. Guy buttering today wearing gloves, state sweeping while wearing the same gloves, then back to working with food, while still wearing the same gloves. When I went up to pay, no one asked anything about my meal or service. In my opinion, the management doesn't really care of a customer returns or not. I KNOW THAT I WON'T!

Worst Waffle House ever which is really saying something. Very Unprofessional, miserable staff. Avoid at all cost.

You do have to know what to expect. For what it is, it's great. Subway-style booths that hold two people max. Larger party? Sit at the counter. The kitchen area is completely open and pretty noisy - much like eating at the kitchen table at someone's house. Nice view of crepe myrtle and grass out the front windows. There was a digital jukebox that nobody played and I didn't notice until we were on the way out. Next time it will get some of my $$. There's no music at all unless somebody plays it. Rosenberg health department's score as of this writing is 94. I might have thought their cleanliness wasn't too good if we hadn't come in when they were cleaning the floor - buckets of water and squeegees. The floor just gets dirty again fast in a place like this, it would appear. The table we sat at was pristine. Service was excellent and friendly. Please tip your server well in an inexpensive place like this - they work just as hard as people in the hoity-toity places. Food was delicious. Over easy eggs perfectly cooked, which doesn't happen too often around here. Hash browns all crispied up, not crispy on the outside only and mushy on the inside like most places. Onions and mushrooms were a nice addition. Orange juice outstanding - I can't believe it was fresh squeezed in a place like this, but it almost tasted like it. Coffee was a tad weak, but that's all I've got to say that's negative in the slightest. The place was pretty crowded at 2PM on a Sunday afternoon, so I have a feeling they're probably out the door during breakfast hours - it's not a very large place. We ran up our bill with extras, but you could eat *really* cheap here if such was your aim. They even have a small serving of pie for $0.75!

Came in on Sunday and the place was a mess. Food all over the floors, dishes on the table, trash can piling over with trash and food, in the view of patrons. There were 7 people working in the cooking area and it took them over 30 minutes for someone to actually sweep up the nastiness off the floor. The tables were not picked up for at least 20 minutes. Mind you at this point my family and only 1 other patron was in the building. It was clear they had a morning rush but there was no excuse for the place to be so disgusting while people were in the establishment.

I'm going to be honest, this place scared me at first. It was also my first time to a Waffle House and didn't know what to expect. Then I thought that it could be be great, I like dives after all. I ordered biscuits and sausage gravy with an egg on top. It looked delicious! I was very disappointed in the gravy. It was bland and I think they used ground beef instead of sausage. I'm not too upset since it set me back around 5 bucks. It was worth the try, but I shan't return.

Good service, staff friendly and food was pretty good.. I'm not much of a waffle house person but I will be coming bac here.. it was freezing cold and the waitress even turned the air down for us..if your in Rosenberg come to Waffle House and not IHOP

Late nights and hangovers are the perfect time to stop by. Just dont look too closely at anything and you wont notice the filth. Dont get me wrong, the place is probably comparable to most chain kitchens but its the social class stigma that will keep Waffle House at three stars or less. Food is greasy and chopped steaks have a "taste" that probably is the result of being open in the freezer and absorbing the flavors of God knows what...but all-in-all, it does the trick. Im not too good to eat anywhere and the fact that all the cooking is done right before your eyes, makes this place a regular stop after too much drinking and ambiance is NOT a priority. Greasy spoon diner is what they will always be and i love them for that! See yall next weekend....

The first thing that I didn't like was that although I walk to the door and they all said hello, it was at least 10 minutes before anybody even came over to ask me what I wanted even though I sat at the bar area right in front of them. They took my order and deliver quantity was good very good portions Jordi it was lukewarm. I don't know how this can happen when they cooking front of you. Would not recommend this place to anyone The bathroom was not very clean at all. No toilet paper. Note that hurt running in the bathroom. ( so you can only imagine what it face upon entering). Last visit everything was so improved. Fast service and considerate waiter. Made my waffle a little later that way after completing first part of breakfast it was fresh and hot.. First visit i gave it a 2. This time a 5. Bathroom was clean.

Where else can you get awesome greasy breakfast food in a 1980s environment? The wait staff are all super friendly and a couple are jolted up with something, but I love m everything about it. From the food prep right in front of you, to the manual diner ticket write up to the jukebox tunes. This is place is so great. Love it. Bathrooms are gross though.

Love the pancakes and waffles! We stopped in early one morning after a road trip and it was nice to just sit down and have a meal. It wasn't five star food but it was hot and the wait staff was friendly and kind. The coffee wasn't Starbucks but it was hot and the cup got refilled. If you just want a great waffle and a smile, do stop by!

Awful service! I've been here several times each time with some issue with service. However today I tried ordering the all star breakfast and sub waffles for hash browns... I have food allergy and cannot have the waffles or bread. I explained that and have at other waffle houses been allowed to sub.. At this Waffle House as well. She was not having it and insisted on charging me per item I wanted coming out several dollars more for less food... Makes no sense..

Waffle House is a bargain compared to its competitors. Our service was fast and the food was comparable to other Waffle House I have visited.

My daughter wanted breakfast after she had her test for drivers license. We saw a Waffle House across the freeway . We never been to a Waffle House, so why not. Daughter ordered two wafffles with chocolate chips and strawberry syrup. I ordered two eggs ham and cheese omlette with hash brown and coffee. Our food came very quick. The waffles were big, but my daughter said it tasted just ok. She finished one. The best part of my order was the coffee. The cheese in my omlette was not completely melted and there was barely any ham. We decided that Denny's or IHOP is a better option when it come to chain breakfast places. We will not be back.

By far the worst restaurant I have ever had my breakfast. No point of eating in this messy. Dirty, nasty place and please do avoid going here folks.

NEVER AGAIN. Dirty place, lousy service, no hair nets, they handle money then your food. .no gloves worn be ANYONE. I wondfer how many walk their check; you have to stand at the register andt no one notices you. They should lose the Waff e House franchis.

Let's face it we don't eat here because they have the best food, they are cheap, its quick food at a cheap price. Sometimes the service good and sometimes it's slow. But it's always cheap to eat

Went there a couple of months ago. Never again! It looked dirty and greasy. The waitresses also looked worn from working at this place. Floor awful. Food greasy. Truly is a Greasy Spoon. However, the wait staff was very nice and tried to serve their slop well.

We arrived at Waffle House around 9:15 tonight. We sat immediately at the counter and waited. And waited. And waited. We sat for a good 8-10 minutes with no service. During the time of waiting, my husband was able to go to the bathroom and get his jacket from the truck. We finally left when no one helped us and we saw one of the ladies put her entire hand on top of a waffle on a plate. Off to Cracker Barrel we go.

This was my first time at the Waffle House location. When we arrived there was a line of people waiting to be seated. As we stood in line I noticed a couple sitting in a booth. The woman was counting order tickets while the gentleman read newspapers. I watched as they sat in that booth for almost 2 hours and never bothered to get up and offer their booth to anyone. She also kept calling different servers to the booth and keeping them from customers. I thought this was extremely rude to their patrons. I asked an employee if they worked there and she said yes, but was not the owner or manager. I wrote a note letting her know that it was disrespectful and rude to take up a table that would have seated 4 when the had people steadily waiting for tables. As I was leaving I stopped by the table and asked if she was the owner. She said no, but I'm one step below the manager and she asked if I needed one. I said no and left her the note. She actually followed me outside and started arguing with me about her sitting in the booth. I told her that there was no reason why she couldn't have worked in the office. She said, well not when I'm a paying customer to which I replied then you shouldn't be working if you're not getting paid. Needless to say I will NOT be going back.
