Nice little waffle place! Place is very rustic and offers delicious waffles. I had the savoury grilled cheese with bisque and my wife had lemon custard. Both were amazing and I don’t think I’ll ever find anything like what we had today. Sorry my wife threw up outside the restaurant but in her defence she is pregnant.

I came here at the suggestion of my nephews girlfriend and I'm glad that I did! So many things on the menu looked good, I finally chose the Cinna Love. It was delicious. The service was fast and friendly, the dining area is rather small and can fill up quickly. Only a few people were there when we arrived but it filled up soon after, it was pretty much empty by the time we left. Everything looked clean, I would definitely come back!

I’d been meaning to try this place for a while as it is near my school. It was delicious, the decor is cute, and the staff is friendly. Their weekly special, Biscoff Cream, was amazing and very filling. I look forward to coming back!

Great waffle place, the customer service is always pleasant, very friendly and inviting, they will always help you with the choices and to make sure you experience there is Amazing. Their coffee is always free.❤️ They always have good variety sweet or savory, their house sauce is so good and their whip cream is AMAZING, fruit is always fresh and their waffles are the best I've taste. Bobby is always very friendly and make sure you leave happy❤️ He make sure my son's birthday was special❤️ 🎉🎂TY. I will DEFINITELY recommend this place.

Today I died and went to heaven. I had never heard of this place until earlier this week and upon gazing at their menu online I knew the internal fat girl just had to go and try this place out. I was truly not disappointed. My son ordered the chocolate filled banana cream pie waffle and I got the cinna love. Both were extremely delicious!!! The waffles were nice and soft, the cinna love tasted like a cinnamon bun on a waffle and the grilled cheese was heavenly (a very sweet gift from the wonderful lady at the cash register)!!!! The tomato soup had an interesting texture when eating on its own but paired perfectly with the waffle grilled cheese. The staff there were incredibly warm and kind, food came out quickly and was beyond the best thing I have put in my mouth this year. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I will absolutely be back!!!!!!

Came in for the First time after looking up a breakfeast restaurant while I was out in Reseda. I saw Waffle love was close by and scene great reviews so I had to try it out! We were greeted by Amanda at the register who was extremely knowledgable on the menu and had awesome recommendations. Julian ran out the food nice and hot. Olivia was coming by to check up how we were doing as well as Amanda. This place has given me the best customer service ive ever gotten in any breakfeast restaurant.. I felt so comfortable and the waffles were the best waffles ive ever tried in my life.. Thank You for the Amazing service I will be back to visit every time I am down here to get some good breakfeast !!

Great friendly service and an tastey Waffle. I will be back, and so will you after you try them. ENJOY Just returned to this little gem this morning. They were not busy when I stepped in, but I spoke too soon. They quickly got packed. Maybe its because of there delicious waffles, and menu items. I ordered the Red Robin, I think that what's it was named. But anyway it was very delicious 😋. The bacon was crispy not burnt. I will be going back to try some if their other amazing waffles, or Chicken.

These Flaky Crispy Buttery Waffles Are So Amazing! My Favorite Menu Item Is The Grilled Cheese With Tomato Soup! The Waffle Love Team Are Usually So Welcoming and Ready To Take Your Order! Ordered this on Postmates. Ordered chicken and waffles, but it came with no maple syrup or the "awesome" sauce. Haven't even eaten it, but how can I eat chicken and waffles, dry? It's unheard of. Sauces make everything, especially in breakfast items, and this is a huge DUD

Love this local waffle spot. Staff and owner are always friendly and its always nice and clean. Just a few tables but we've never really had trouble when dining in. I really like the wall full of art. Really adds a nice local feeling to it. There are parking slots in the back and street parking in the front. Their menu is split into two. Sweet side and savory side. My usual is savory and spicy, The Nash! It's a spicy fried chicken sandwich. Savory with a hint of sweetness. The chicken is so tender with a nice and slightly crunchy outside. Spice is a nice level where I get a little but of sniffles lol. We also got chicken and waffles, classic and always good. It comes with syrup and a dip on the side. Also tried the churro waffle with strawberries. So good if you have a sweet craving. Dusted like a churro and although it might look small at first, it is filling! Also you get complimentary coffee with your order. They have self serve creamer for your convenience. Shoutout Colin for always telling me to try this joint and months later I finally did! I ordered the Breakfast Plate w/ a side order of FRIED CHICKEN and that shit HIT. This joint deserves to be packed by CSUN students 24/7. The prices are good and the quality is above and beyond. I'll try to come more often for breakfast. - @eatingwithricardo

Stopped in for breakfast after a friend recommended I should check it out Ordered up the "Breakfast Sammy" (Croissant Waffle with egg, cheese & bacon). Croissant waffle had a great crunch - eggs cooked just right (they ask how you want your eggs - I choose medium) the bacon was prepared properly & the sauce was tasty - all around Very Good sandwich. I found the price to be a bit expensive at $15 Don't get me wrong. The quality is there throughout, but that's expensive. The location on Reseda Blvd in Northridge is basically a takeout kind of place. The interior is plan & boring with a few tables for sit down customers Parking is available in the back - hard to find any parking on the street. And it's a bit dumpy entering through the back door. Employees are friendly and helpful. FYI: The history behind "Waffle Love" comes from a husband & wife who started with a food truck in Utah - They now have locations in Texas, Idaho, Arizona, California & of course Utah Waffle Love also appeared two times on the Great Food Truck Race TV show found on the Food Network I will probably go back to try other items on the menu Cheers

Omg the best waffle place ever! True gem. I haven't been here fur a couple of years but when I tell you I regret it. Indeed I do. When I walked in with my children we were immediately greeted. We enjoyed how nice the place looked. We then asked for a moment to view the menu. I asked about the waffle of the day option that was reasonably priced. To our surprise it was a waffle with caramel sauce and whipped cream. We ordered that and the cinnamon waffle. We added ice cream! A must. Waffles were warm and amazingly delicious. So many flavors to try. Other great eats on the menu as well. Cute artwork and seating is available. You can't sleep on this place. Try it today!!!

Solid spot... they really know their way around waffles! This review is based on my most recent visit, but I've been here plenty of times before. As always, I got the breakfast sandwich, which comes with a waffle that's flaky (like a croissant) with eggs, bacon, cheese, and sauce. Other members in my group tried a different breakfast sandwich, the chicken and waffles, and for dessert, a waffle topped with Nutella, strawberries, and whipped cream. The portions are definitely on the smaller side for the price, but the quality is always great. The breakfast sandwich was solid, and the dessert waffle was incredible. I'm usually not a whipped cream person, but theirs was so good I ended up eating it on its own. I do wish they had more sides or options to go with the sandwiches since it didn't completely fill me up. But I get that the focus here is all about waffles. The service was super attentive and quick, and the place was clean with some really cool art on display. I did notice the unlimited coffee that everyone always mentions wasn't there this time, which was a little disappointing since I've had it before and loved it. Even so, I'll definitely be back because the waffles are worth it.

Amazing!!! This place was so delicious, but make sure to come with a sweet tooth if you get a sweet waffle! The food: the dulce, delicious 5/5. The only negative was that it was personally too sweet, and soooo much ice cream for break/brunch. But I guess who complains about ice cream for breakfast?! breakfast Sammy: 5/5, so good, savory, crunchy/crispy bacon and waffle. I got the "special sauce" in the side and tried a little, preferred that over it being in the sandwich. Service: quick and easy, we sat down, the lady brought us our food in about 5 mins, we saw her cooking everything! Ambiance: nice and warm inside (cold today when we went), and it smelled amazing. Unique artwork, and not busy!

Been going here for a few years now and it never disappoints. Definitely my favorite waffles. My go to is the red wonder which is topped with biscoff spread, whipped cream, strawberries and raspberries. Waffles are always super soft and not too big, good for one or shareable for 2 if you're not much of a sweet tooth. Normally go here for dessert or breakfast but have gotten chicken and waffles here for lunch before. There's also other savory options to choose from. Workers are nice and ambiance is chill.

My buddy suggested this location after we had a meeting. This place was on my list for some time, and I cannot say I have had a waffle I disliked, so off to Waffle Love we went. I was immediately taken by the story of the business written on the wall. It was a beautiful story that did not necessarily swing me towards buying the waffles because I had already bought them before reading the writing on the wall. The service was good, no complaints. The FOOD: my friend recommended the grilled cheese and bisque, and it was absolutely a delight. I also ordered a Founder's Favorite because you have to order the favorite of the owner always! It was delightful, the cookie butter was a nice accent to the waffle. Another place whose menu I want to just eat through.

I got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, the grilled cheese is extremely greasy. Everytime I picked it up, my hands were drenched in grease and honestly after finishing the sandwich, I felt nauseous because of how heavy this meal was. Although the portion was small, it was very filling but not in a good way. There was a lot of flavor but Im not sure why it was hard? It felt as if some plastic was in my sandwich. Order the grilled cheese if you want a greasy meal.

Stopped by after a quick return/exchange trip to the mall. Small space that's easy to miss when driving by. Thankfully there's some parking in the back. Friendly cashier who hilighted the menu for us. We ordered the breakfast and chicken & waffle plates. Wifey enjoyed the breakfast plate - perfect portions! I still don't understand the draw of "chicken & waffles" but this one had nice sized, moist, chicken strips atop their sweet waffle. No table service and no staff interaction beyond the counter. Was crowded when we got there but turnover was pretty quick. Overall, an enjoyable spot for breakfast.

Never been here before. Went in today and Natalie & Juliana treated me like royalty Such sweet girls. It's hard to find GOOD help, so you're very lucky to have these two! Thanx ladies!!!

We've had this spot on our list for a while but didn't get to try it till recently! We wanted to grab it one other time but it was a Sunday and they were closed. But finally after my friend @kundomusic raved about it so much, we finally made the trip out! We weren't too sure where to park, first of all. They have limited spots up front and didn't know they had a back entrance/parking lot! We luckily found a spot right up front anyway so it wasn't too bad. Very hot day tho so it was scorching! We walked in with a lovely greeting by the staff. I believe her name is Bailey but she welcomed us and went over some recommendations that we happily took. We ordered for take out and waited a bit but not long at all. We ended up getting The Nash which was way too overwhelming and wasn't for me. The avocado toast with an added over easy egg was insanely good tho! Loved the super runny egg, ended up topping it with some hot sauce for a bit of an extra flavor and kick. The Croffle was great! Such a nice texture and can't go back to a regular waffle now! Lastly, we ended up with the Red Wonder as a dessert and it was by far the best thing on their menu. Would love to try the other desserts some day but this one was perfect. It had a home made biscoff spread that made it taste like a Creme Brûlée. Perfection and has me wanting more. I love coming here! It's walking distance from CSUN so it's perfect to come to after class or between a gap. Been here several times and the staff is always super friendly. Fast service and amazing food too!!!

Would give 6+ stars if possible!! After 20+ years in LA as a fan and regular consumer of waffles, I was blown away after my first visit to Waffle Love. Not only the best waffles in LA, the best waffles I've ever had. On my first ever visit, the waffle size didn't look too intimidating, and I ordered both savory and sweet, but the portion for one waffle is way too filling to consume both in one sitting. Now as a regular, I can handle one waffle at a time, and will sometimes split a savory/sweet pair with a friend. The ambiance is both hip and family-friendly. A great date spot, and also a place for both the adult breakfast connoisseur and their teen who only wants super basic fare. I've even taken work clients here! High chairs available for young kids, and tables can fit pairs or larger groups. Very friendly and helpful service. You can use their add-ons to order a waffle in any on- or off-menu configuration. The standard sweet waffle is a classic Belgian liege, which is a yeasted dough rather than batter, made with sugar pearls that bake into the soft, fluffy interior and add a slight crisp caramelization to the outside of the waffle. The standard savory waffle is a croissant waffle, with a light, buttery, flaky body. Waffle perfection. My go-to is the Grilled Cheese & Bisque, with a side of Avocado (either in a cup or grilled inside). The bisque is fresh, seasoned with herbs and dotted with small chunks of melt-in-your-mouth tomato. OMG, this place is amazing in every way!!! I work at CSUN and have been meaning to try this place with my super-foodie-boyfriend and today was the day! We ordered The Nash (a savory fried chicken sandwich) and the daily special (Churro Waffle with Cream) and both totally knocked it out of the park! Flavors: Amazing. Ambiance: Artsy and Uplifting! Staff: So sweet and helpful. Especially Amanda! 10/10 would do again.

My hula sisters and I go to waffle love for our own special little dates. Tonight was a sendoff to my friend who is moving to Hawai'i. So Waffle Love is going to be the perfect place to do that. I ordered the avocado waffle and the Nutella love. Both of which I've ordered before. The Nutella love is sweet but not too sweet at all. Nutella love is a waffle covered in strawberries with cream and drizzled with Nutella on top. It is my favorite waffle to order. I try to make the perfect bite of cruncky waffle, fresh cream, strawberries and Nutella. This waffle is EVERYTHING. The avocado waffle Is savory. The waffle is more like a croissant with flaky and buttery layers. The avocado was fresh and the crystal salt on top is just the right amount. It was a perfect blend of buttery flaky goodness from the croissant and the earthy taste of the avocado. Generous serving. Good value. You can definitely cut in half and take some home or share with someone. Canned drink and bottled water for sale. Complimentary still water available upon request. Waffle Love is a favorite with locals. Nice spot to meet up with friends. Seating is ok. Metal chairs not so comfy. I wouldn't recommend a group bigger than four people. Good for kids. Customer service is always A+. Bring a friend and find out why I'm in love with Waffle Love.

We were overcharged and then the explanation was that the electronic menu board was not working and that the prices on their paper menu (that they used) were not correct. We were offered an extra waffle but they never delivered on that. The place was also dirty.

Unique gourmet waffles made with Belgian sugar. It's a nice treat from the usual breakfast.

Amazing. These guys are so on point. Always delicious food. Very friendly, greeting and attentive to making it a great dining experience. Beautiful murals on the walls and a really cute story on the wall while you wait in line about the founders. We love the red winter with Biscoff cookie spread and the Dulce which has ice cream on top! My husbands favorite is the grilled cheese with tomato bisque and chicken. This location has hot Nashville chicken as well. One of my favorite places to dine. We drove 30 minutes today and have driven an hour in the past. It's just that good. The owners are awesome. They have breathes a lot of love into this restaurant.

We ordered the Breakfast Sammy but swapped the bacon and sausage for avocado and the strawberry Nutella waffle. They do offer regular coffee in small cups complimentary. But I haven't been here in a Minuteeeeee. Now I remember why.. Although the food is delicious the service is mediocre and we waited over 30 minutes for our food. You order at the counter and wait for you name to be called. The space is small fitting maximum 6 groups of people. It's a tight squeeze and everything is self serve including the napkins. One napkin dispenser for the whole spot. I literally made a pile of napkins to avoid having to squeeze by people to grab more napkins from the only dispenser. I think next time I'm craving their waffles I'll place a pick up order to avoid the inside. There's 0 to no street parking as it's right by CSUN and they do have parking in the back with limited spaces. Best advice is to order ahead and pick it up.

Holy Wow! Found on Yelp and check in first to get a free topping (currently). This was a drive well worth it for us. Just about 10 miles away with a thousand traffic lights... ok slight exaggeration:). Back to this place, build your own waffle or have your Sammy with egg and biscuit or bacon and croissant waffle. This was a Wow sandwich! My waffle had homemade whip cream fresh strawberries and raspberries with Bischoff spread, super Wow! They have lots of options for a waffle place. As I learned from the franchisee, he went to school with the founder whose message about how the waffle idea started is pretty cool. Inspirational as it were. I would highly recommend!

We started eating here after seeing it on the food network about 4 years ago & only now read the story of how they came to be. Inspirational. Now, all I'm going to say about the waffles is... that when I went to use the restroom, my husband ate the rest of my waffle while I was gone! He's never done that before (and believe me he hasn't done it since!) I was SO disappointed! But that just shows how good they are.

Very cute chicken & waffle place that's kinda tucked & hidden in the valley along Reseda. I drive down this road all the time and I've never noticed this place, so it's nice to find this hidden restaurant. First, I gotta say that this place has a hidden parking lot behind the restaurant with a couple of parking slots dedicated for Waffle Love that leads to their back entrance. It looks very cool on the inside with nice decoration and it's fairly well kept. Also, Waffle Love is VERY small on the inside. I came in on a Thursday at noon and ALL of their seating was filled (about 6 tables and a small bar that seats 4). Because of this, I wasn't able to enjoy a dine-in experience, but that's okay. Onto the food, I ordered the Breakfast Sammy. It tasted okay, but it is somewhat of a struggle to eat. Their waffle (as the buns for the sandwich) was VERY greasy and since it was such a thin waffle, it was struggling to hold my sandwich together. It became REALLY messy to eat my breakfast sandwich. Lastly, I feel like something is missing from my dish/their menu. I feel like they need a staple side to accommodate not just my meal, but a lot of their other items as well. Fries, hash browns, tater tots, or something of that kind would've made my meal feel more complete. I'm not necessarily saying it should be included with it, but at least offered in their menu of add-ons. It's a cool place to check out if you're a huge waffle fan, but with such a premium price, I think your money can be better spent somewhere else.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit at Waffle Love. The staff was welcoming, friendly and patient, as I was overwhelmed by the delicious smell of fresh waffles. Complementary coffee was unexpected and sweet. The food was great. The waffles were delicious. The ambiance was comfortable. Looking forward to my next visit.

I've been coming here since they opened in the valley almost 10 years ago, all time favs is the breakfast Sammy + chicken & waffles. Never fails ! Breakfast Sammy is on croissant waffle which adds the perfect flakiness to the sandwich. The cashiers are always friendly. It does get a bit crowded inside since it's on the small side but you are able to dine in.

Wow. The waffle with the biscoff cream and homemade whipped cream was delicious. I had the Red One which had berries on top. Highly recommend this place.

Great food in a tiny package. About 8 tables and it can be busy on the weekends. They are working hard in the kitchen to get your food out quickly. Tasty options. Free coffee and flat water with every meal.

With incredible reviews, I was expecting a lot and Waffle Love delivers! So, so good. I had a gluten free grilled cheese with bacon and tomato soup. My daughter had a regular churro waffle with strawberries. We both were wow'ed by how delicious! The GF waffle had the perfect texture and taste. I typically don't like tomatoes or tomato soup, but this was seasoned just right and was actually super delicious. Staff was also very helpful and kind, which I really appreciate too. Only wish I lived closer. Just a note: although the batter is gluten free, they do use the same waffle irons so there's a possible cross contamination concern for the very gluten sensitive / intolerant.

First time at Waffle Love and our family and friends have recommended this place several times. Love the ambiance and the excellent customer service. My first time there ordered chicken & waffles as well as the Nutella Love. It was delicious! The chicken was everything, juicy and crispy!!! & Nutella Love was great. I would definitely recommend, the serice was good too the workers are very kind.

Was in the area and searched Yelp to see what was close to go and eat at, found this gem. We ordered the Breakfast Sammy and the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Everything was delightful. My grilled cheese had a great cheese pull, it was the perfect tempt to enjoy! Dipping in the tomato bisque was devine. My husband's breakfast Sammy was great. A little messy, but what isn't messy that isn't overall a great! We got to enjoy a sweet waffle which was to die for! The homemade whip cream was EVERYTHING! Atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy! Hope to come again!

Presentation versus quality and PRESENTATION WON!!! We wanted to try this place because the love for waffles is real, and of course their pictures look amazing... however the taste isn't anything out of the normal, you're probably better off staying home and eating at home if you own a waffle makers (save your gas with these lovely gas prices) VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! However the chicken was actually up to par, but with the place having waffle on there name and there Chicken outshining the waffle well that's the problem Staff was friendly Small place They provide Parking in the back

Hands down the best waffles in town. So soft and fluffy and sweet. My go to's are the sunshine or red wonder. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Bomb waffles great people. Love the environment and the waffles are amazing been coming here for years this waffle isn't like any waffle you have ever had definitely worth every Penny. Love the story of the owner on the wall. This is a faithful desert heaven for my wife and I both.

To get a full waffle spread in biscoff spread topped with whipped cream, strawberries and red raspberry for your birthday is incredible. We love the Red Wonder waffle, tomato bisque with their cheesey grilled cheese, chicken & waffle, and all the breakfast sandwiches. My son says mmmm after every bite of the red wonder. My husband and I always order extra bisque and grilled cheese to go. There grilled cheese are super delish. The waffle tastes like waffle meets croissants and cheesy cheese. So freaking good.
