Great atmosphere and food quality. I had the salmon teriyaki which was excellent flavor profile mixed with noodles. Nice fresh juices available, little heavy on the pulp.

We went to Wagamama for an early lunch and the whole place was nice and quiet, however the place had an aircon cracked up really strong so it was freezing indoors compared to a nice summer day outside. We had a bowl of duck ramen and vegetable curry rice for mains and shared a serve of bang bang cauliflower which was super yummy! The duck was very tender and tasty.

My first time and dying to return again. Nice simple classy place and great location. Food was amazing and of great quality. The colors of food served in elegant plates/ bowl turns the food in piece of art. Glad we stopped by.

Andre our server was great. The food was fantastic, however, if you are afraid of spicy food beware!! My favorite was the bang, bang cauliflower and the green drink. Delicious. All of the food was extremely flavorful and filling!

Weekday dining is great. No crowds, not loud and a chill environment. Ive had better Katsu elsewhere but the edemame and cauliflower bites were excellent. Strongly recommend. Staff was excellent but couldn’t keep up with our water requests. Next time just leave the bottle dude.

I had a wonderful lunch experience here. I was looking for a quiet place to unwind for my lunch break and found it. The servers were warm, attentive. The service was fast and I was out of there in less than 1 hour. Had a delicious fresh pressed juice, tuna tataki appetizer, the chicken curry katsu as my main course. The food is indeed nourishing, fresh and I can't wait to come back again to try their salad. Thank you for a wonderful lunch break experience.

This wagamama is a very convenient location next to MoMath and Madison Park. The kids had so much fun nearby and rest in the restaurant and had food. I like how the kid’s menu offered a variety of choices. The kids meals were reasonably priced with good portion sizes and a lot of vegetables. The duck in the duck Raman was soft and easily got off the bone, but I prefer the soup base of the chicken ramen over the duck ramen soup base. Overall, this place is a decent choice for my party with kids.

Interior is pretty but that's about it.. service was ok and not really attentive with placing food/ drink order and getting seated. It was really loud from music and a birthday party and we could not hear our waitress and made no effort to speak up or get closer. Not bad service but not good either. As other reviews mentioned, the food was not good. Chicken pad Thai: 0/5, we weren't able to adjust the spice, it came with a heaping amount of peanuts and no kidding, there were more bean sprouts than there were noodles Not pictured: fire cracker cauliflower: 2/5, not crispy and pretty soggy and super small portion The pork bao was pretty good: 3/5 Besides the bao, the only good take away were the drinks! Not all that pricey and it was super tasty and pretty strong. Yuzu: 5/5!! Tasty and had 3 types of alc. the blossom was also tasty: 4.5/5 I wouldn't come back but if i were around the area wanting drinks it has potential to stop by! But as a person who likes a little apps/sides while drinking... it wouldn't be my first choice

The decor here is adorable and had friendly service, but falls short in terms of food quality. My son ordered the kids chicken ramen, which is usually his favorite, and barely touched it. He said it has a weird vegetable carrot taste that was overpowering. I had the cod dish which lacked flavor and was dry - the soba noodles that came with it helped salvage the dish a bit. Great ambience and service but not great enough for me to rush back.

Avoid!!! Zero stars is not an option If you want to eat with the feeling of sitting on the sun go here. It's so hot, especially upstairs. Food is barely ok, meh+ at best. Service terrible with cherry on top being the server added a gratuity without my consent and no it's not an automatic gratuity. Will be notifying bank and filling fraud charges. Avoid at all costs. I'd contact management but no one was around in the restaurant and based on reviews it's clear they won't do anything.

I did not know it was a restaurant chain and saddly, it feels like one, the flavor is not as authentic even though its good. The staff is kind and they serve the food fast. We started with the CHICKEN GYOZA and TOKYO FRIES (strings of sweet potato with small pieces of beef and sauce). I was a bit dissapointed with the gyozas because they were already a bit cold when served and they didn't have much flavor meanwhile I was more pleasantly surprised about the fries. I am a fan of pork broth but they do not have any option iin their menu. We ordered the GRILLED DUCK RAMEN and the SHIRODASHI PORK RAMEN (which was a little spicy, even though it did not say anything in the menu). The Duck Ramen served on vegetable broth, so its really light. The duck meat is well cooked, tender, easily shreded, and has good flavor but they serve it with some peppers that do not really add anything to the dish. The Pork ramen is served in chicken broth so its a bit more rich, also the pork belly gives a good touch to this dish. The broth was not really hot when served so your plate will get cold faster than usual. ESPAÑOL No sabía que era una cadena de restaurantes y tristemente, se siente como una, el sabor no es tan auténtico aunque está bueno. El personal es amable y la comida se sirve rápido. Comenzamos con las CHICKEN GYOZA Y TOKYO FRIES (hilos de batata con pequeñas porciones de ternera y salsa). El ramen de cerdo se sirve en un caldo de pollo por lo que está un poco más intenso de sabor, también las piezas de panceta le dan un buen toque al plato. The atmosphere at the restaurant is incredibly inclusive and welcoming to LGBTQ+. The staff was also diverse, and their positive energy was obvious. While the food was decent overall, some standout dishes include the refreshing Balance Juice and the delicious Pork Bao, which I highly recommend. The bun was wonderfully soft, and the pork was perfectly cooked and juicy. The Calamari was also excellent, with a unique sweet sauce that sets it apart from other places. We tried the Grill Duck Ramen, which was satisfyingly filling. The soup has a bit of a spicy kick, so if you're sensitive to heat, be sure to request a lighter spice level.

Food (2/5) - the food was okay.. the only thing that tasted really good was the firecracker curry but the Thai food and appetizers were extremely mediocre and bland. I don't remember a time I left a restaurant hungry. Came on a Tuesday evening at 8pm. We got sat right away. Pretty hip and lots of seating inside. Our waitress comes and asks how we're doing, we say the usual "good and you?" to be courteous, and she responds "Busy", with a capital B. At least lie, or be playful about it. Customers can tell you are busy, especially with your annoyed gestures and body language. Anyway our experience here started from that interaction. We ordered our dishes, unfortunately they were out of a lot of things and we had to come up with our second choices on the spot. It would have been nice if she started off saying what they were out of. We ordered ramen. Shirodashi pork ramen had bland broth. I ordered the spicy pork Szechuan - broth was good, not too spicy. Both dishes lacked proportion, not enough noodles to meat ratio. Usually a bowl of ramen fills me up, but this was a snack bowl. I could probably fit the amount of noodles I had in the palm of my hand. We ate pretty fast and finished quickly. Waitress was hard to flag down, since she never checked in on us during or after the meal. Sorry to say, not sure if I'd come back here with all the better ramen choices around.

I've walked by this place a bunch (I live out of town, but come to NYC regularly to an office around the corner) and have always wanted to try it. It has a cool vibe from the street. Tonight, I gave it a shot with a takeout order. I had the mushroom bao buns, and a japanese curry with fried vegetable katsu. The pickup was uneventful and friendly, and I was right... the vibe inside did seem very nice. In terms of the food, the mushroom bao was *amazing*. I'd definitely go 5 stars there. I really liked it. The vegetable curry was good,not-great. I liked the crispiness of the vegetables, though the curry sauce was nothing special (pretty similar to the homemade curry you can make with the little roux cubes). I'm going to go 5 stars because of the mushroom bao. Seriously -- even if you aren't vegetarian or don't love mushrooms -- try it, and I bet you'll like it.

Pretty disappointing. I had the vegetable ramen, and the broth quite literally tasted like the packets that come with Maggi noodles. It came with a whole heap of salad on top too, which was pretty strange. There are more interesting looking non-vegetarian choices, but I'd definitely expect mediocre chain restaurant quality.

Popped in for an early lunch and loved it here. Lots of great vegan options, Manny was super knowledgeable about the menu and also friendly, good music, and a good vibe. A nice little retreat away from the heat!

Went right at 3pm when their happy hour starts. Got the chicken dumplings the edamame with garlic powder and a tuna tatak. They were all $5-$6, which is a great happy hour price, but the portions are just sad. If you were to get the potstickers at regular price it would be cheaper per piece than the happy house so not sure what kind of happy hour they're going for. The tataki were 3 very small slices. About half of a slice of the regular slice. There were maybe 2 other people in there, service was good. Probably won't return and wouldn't recommend for happy hour.

Ambiance (3/5): There are multiple levels and depth to the restaurant! The front area and a main dining area in the back. There's a lot of space between the tables to provide privacy. The restaurant is dimly lit and is pretty loud. The vibe is pretty trendy and seems good for group outings. Service (3/5): Average service. We waited in the front to be seated until the bartender came around to seat us right at the windy front tables. I asked for us to be seated toward the back. Meanwhile, there was mostly empty seating nested in the middle! Food: I've never had more mediocre Asian fusion before. Definitely skip this chain as the price point for the taste is not worth it!! tokyo fries (5/5): I've never had a rendition of fries cut so thinly! They are fried to a nice crunch and layer with a nice sauce made out of Japanese mayo. Loved the tender kbbq beef sprinkled on top. Beef brisket (2/5): Sadly, the beef cuts were super tough to chew. The other ingredients did not stand out to the rice dish. Felt cheap for what you pay for. Spicy Pork Szechuan (2/5): I don't know if I would call this ramen. The minced pork was seasoned well but there was zero depth to the broth. The egg was more cooked than I liked. The red onions were burnt to a crisp.

I thought this place was just ok. We ordered shrimp nori rolls (didn't like them), chicken ramen (too salty), bang bang cauliflower (just ok), pad thai with chicken and peanuts - was very good, Also had a yuzu . I was less than impressed with the food and the service. I most likely would not return - I thought it would work well for my teen and I (as well a friend with her daughter). I liked the atmosphere which is why I gave it 3 stars. I think that I would have been happier eating at nearby Eataly.

This was a random stop along our trek and I was not disappointed. The drinks were strong but had a great taste. Our waitress recommended some food for us and everything was delicious. I loved the spicy salmon bowl. It was super flavorful and a perfect portion. I was overall happy with the great food, amazing service, and beautiful restaurant.

There was nothing to disappoint here. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and engaging. We ordered the bao (Korean bbq and pork) the pork was phenomenal! Then we ordered the duck ramen which was tender and tasty and the spicy salmon teriyaki had the perfect amount of spice but if you like it extra spicy add the sesame oil sparingly because it's . We also ordered a jasmine tea and the immune booster. All in all we had a very good experience and we will be coming back and would recommend. A reservation doesn't hurt either.

My friends and I came here on a Tuesday evening. There are plenty of tables on the main floor and upstairs. We were seated upstairs and the decor was beautiful. It felt like I was transported to a different place. I had the teriyaki chicken donburi and it was very flavorful. It was chicken in a teriyaki sauce, served with sticky white rice, shredded carrots, seasonal greens + scallions. The ingredients were fresh and the portion of the dish was big. Service was good and friendly.

Fat Mami AKA King Dumpling. You already know dumplings/gyoza are my favorite food of all time. We spent so much money because we couldn't stop buying food. They could put their pork in my bao bao any day. You gotta try it. Honorable mentions to the crispy rice and the banana katsu. I could've eaten 5 servings each of just that. The service was spectacular and the restaurant was beautiful. That upstairs dining area was majestic

Shareable + main + drink = $30 (all vegan) We got the following: Shareable: -bang bang cauliflower: soo goood although a bit spicy -mushroom lettuce wraps: fun idea, a bit sweet and sour Main: -kare burosu ramen: shichimi-coated tofu with veggies and udon noodles, yummy -yasai katsu curry: vegetables coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs w curry over rice and salad, very big portion, reallyy enjoyed eating this Drink: -nourish-mint juice: apple, mint, lemon. Waiter recommended this and i 10/10 loved it -balance juice: mango, apple + orange. Friend approved Wagamama offers Asian and Japanese dishes with a variety of vegan AND nonvegan options making this the perfect spot for anyone to sit and eat. The food was very yummy and I think this deal is 10/10 worth it. I walked out with a full stomach, feeling happy and satisfied. Service was great. The Nomad location is so pretty, especially the second floor and they have a little swing chair! Ambiance is really chill and cool, great for a date or friends hang out. Go visit and don't miss out! I would definitely come back to try their other foods.

Came for dinner on a Friday night after making reservations 2 days in advance. They seated us and served us right away. Explained how there's different cooking stations for each category so everything comes out fresh...but too bad it takes longer this way. The vibe is a mix of casual and standard dining. Not like asian takeout but also not super fancy either. Right up my alley for a chill evening. Also upstairs has beautiful decor. Flowers all along the wall, pretty in pink...highly recommend sitting up there if you can. The main level is totally different and not as esthetic for whatever reason. YUZU 7/10- such a refreshing drink! Idk how much alcohol is actually in it though bc it tasted too good and I didnt really feel much from it. I was obsessed with the matcha sugar rim! They have sake, beer, wine and also a good list of non-alcoholic juices which is nice. STEAK BULGOGI 7/10- the steak was cooked perfectly (medium), but I do wish it had more of the bulgogi sauce on top. A decent entree for 20 bucks which is pretty good for NYC too. SHIRODASHI PORK RAMEN 5/10- okay/basic flavor. I think they marked it as spicy but we didnt think it was (we're also Indian and used to heat so take that into consideration). My husband did say he felt like the portion was a bit small though. Return? Only bc I want to try a bunch of apps next time Recommend? Yes and no for certain things

Great decor but not so great food. Although the restaurant is beautiful and very instagram worthy I was very underwhelmed with the quality of the food. My group ordered two different ramen, a pad thai and the gyozas and to be honest it wasn't that good. The best dish were the Gyozas, but the ramen tasted like nothing, very disappointing. In terms of ambiance it felt very crowded and a little loud for my taste. While I will say it was reasonably priced, with so many amazing asian spots in NY, I don't think I'll come back

Luis was great and attentive. Great service from beginning to the end. The duck ramen is absolutely a must try!! I never had duck that's so tender and flavorful. And I have eaten lots different styles of duck. This is def top 3. Indoor decoration is very nice. Nice touch on those flowers.

Was in NYC for work. Our team decided to check this place out. Unfortunately no one liked it. Comments were in the range of tasteless to, salmon has gone bad. The atmosphere is nice albeit the upstairs dining was extremely warm. So much promise, but doesn't deliver. Won't be going back.

Another one of those 'the more I think about this place, the worse it gets' places. You really hate to see it. I came in for an early lunar new year dinner with my family (big party - around 14 of us) and everything, from the food to the service, ranged from mediocre to straight up bad. First, they accidentally gave us appetizers when our order hadn't even been submitted yet, but the ones they gave us just so happened to be extremely close to what we'd ordered so we just started eating. They came around eventually and told us they didn't give us the correct food (but ended up giving it to us for free which was very nice). When our server took our orders, he left after forgetting to take two of our orders. We had to remind him that there were still orders he hadn't gotten from us. The timing of the food is such that whenever something is ready, it comes out. That means appetizers might get there after mains and people will get food WAY before others. I ate my bao after I was halfway through my main dish, and my cousin got her food so late that she was rushing to finish so that we could all leave at the same time. The format is fine, like sure give us the food when it's done, but the serving of the food should not be spaced that far apart. The long times between serving dishes also meant that the waiting time caused us to get full from appetizers before the mains arrived. My miso cod soba was only decent because of the noodles. I'd actually eat just a plate of those noodles without the cod because they had good flavor and thank god they had good flavor because the cod had none. What miso? What SALT, honestly? Putting food aside, I can't deny that the ambience is incredible. We were seated upstairs which was so beautifully decorated that it almost felt like we were outside in an indoor restaurant. I do wish the seating had backs (we were just seated at benches) because my back definitely started to hurt toward the end of the dinner.

I had always wanted to try this place and a friend invited me out for an early dinner. I was down the street at an event and walked to the restaurant. I was greeted promptly and our waiter was super friendly and had a great personality. He brought us menus and we looked at the offerings. My friend is vegetarian and she really likes this place because they offer vegetarian options. I had the sweet potato strings with beef appetizer and also had the beef brisket dish (I don't remember the name of it). My friend had the firecracker cauliflower and a vegetarian dish. The meal came out before the appetizer so I started with it and the meat was so tender. I had them hold the egg as well. I then had the sweet potato appetizer and I thought the strings were a little larger but it was still very delicious. The entire meal left me stuffed. The prices are good. The service was excellent. The restaurant was quiet when we went. I'd definitely go again, they have plenty of good dishes to try out.

Wagamama is actually a chain of Japanese fusion restaurants from the United Kingdom. If you are looking for authentic Japanese food, this is not the place to go. Though the menu is Japanese based, they have a mix of different things like pad thai, bulgogi and more. And none of the owners or workers for this place are even Japanese. The food though was okay. My friend and I both got bowls of gyuudon. They tasted fine and were a decent portion size. Not authentic style of course as it was much drier than it was supposed to be with slightly different cuts of beef. If you have just a general knowledge of Japanese food and want a clean, modern place with a nice decor, wagamama will be okay.

This is my second time eating at wagamama, first time at this location. I ate at their Murray Hill location a few years ago and loved my meal so my friends and I decided to have dinner at their NoMad spot after Christmas shopping. We ordered the chicken gyozas to share and I ordered the chicken ramen as my main. The ramen and gyoza were delicious. Service was a little funky that night but I think that was because they were preparing for an event. Our main dishes came out so fast (before our water and appetizer). The restaurant has a sleek, modern design. We ate upstairs where there were pretty pink flowers decorating the wall and ceiling. Wonderful if you want any IG pics. Overall, I would return! Great place for a hot bowl of noodles on a cold city night.

The location is great to take cute pictures. However, the food was but the best, the drink was great. Service was great because the location was not very busy.

We had dinner with friends here and absolutely enjoyed the meals and the ambience. It was my first time eating at Wagamama and it was a really good experience. I had the short beef rib ramen (which had a lighter broth) and the sake flight. I'd definitely visit again as I'd like to try a couple more things on the menu.

Upstairs dining area had cute flower decor, but downstairs area had typical tall chair dining areas. Service was below average, but nothing major. It took a while before the waiters were able to take our order. Then, one of our entree orders came out around 10 minutes prior to everyone else's dishes. I got the tantanmen beef brisket, which was not great. The soup itself had no depth of flavor, so it tasted watery. While the concept seems interesting to put korean beef brisket in soup, I think it downgraded the taste of the beef.

Although the food was good, the service was not. Our waiter never came to us after she took our order. It took us three different times to get her attention to request napkins and then we never received any. In addition, even getting the waitress to take our card for payment took a long time. Please do not come in hoping for a quick meal with the best service! The blossom drink was fantastic and I highly recommend ordering for people that enjoy milder drinks! There's a variety of drinks from cocktails, sake, wine, etc You can't go wrong with the food. The ambiance was very nice as well - the flowers on the second floor are gorgeous! The location is fantastic as well if you would like to stop by here before a broadway show, for example.

Always wanted try out this place after seeing it in different part of the city. Had an event nearby on a work day and decided to try it out. Fast service, bland - taste food and over priced. I thought you can't go wrong with fried food but I hated the chili calamari: the overpowering chili powder & dipping sauce does not give the calamari any deep flavor. Also gives a gross aftertaste. Duck wrap were way too salty, please go light on the hoisin sauce. The pork belly in the ramen were yummy but the ramen portion is too little and soup tastes very bland compared to other ramen places. Forgot the drink name but it was way too strong and the color representation looks unappetizing. The restaurant was pretty empty on work week evening. Service was fast and good, just the food was too disappointing.

randomly came here for dinner. I will say the inside is beautiful upstairs, loved all the decor of the place. The service was good too, it was very slow when we went. The food itself was okay, nothing to rave about and nothing I'd go back for. will say that the bang bang cauliflower was delicious! easily the best thing we ordered.

Best pork ramen I've ever had and can't wait to go back! The broth is on point and the noodle are cooked perfectly - not mushy. Next time will take pics, couldn't do it this time, because I had to devour the Shirodashi pork ramen immediately! Love this restaurant's ambiance and the service is friendly and fast.

The service is pretty slow but you can tell everyone is really sorry about it and literally trying their best. We had Osvaldo as our server and he was SO attentive and honestly saved the experience all together. The drinks were great , we got the yuzo and the dignitary and we ended up ordering seconds. The ramen was great, the chili chicken was the star and the gyozas were great (ramen was too salty but still good). Overall I'd come back! A lot of people seem to complain about this place, but I had a good experience with waitstaff here and don't have too many complaints. I came because I saw the plethora of vegan options on the menu, all labeled well. Sometimes I take this for granted! There are several vegan appetizers, like lettuce boats, bang bang cauliflower, and mushroom and eggplant baos, and plenty of vegan entree items. I got the lettuce wrap and the Avant gard'n "salad" which was just a rice bowl. The lettuce wraps had a soy sauce mushroom asparagus sauté filling which was loaded with soy sauce. The bowl had the same mushroom sauté as one of the veggies included, and when combined with the flavorful bulgogi sauce, it was also a bit of sodium overload. I was most intrigued by the "vegan sriracha egg." While it looked very similar to a hard boiled egg, the consistency was definitely not that of a boiled egg. The egg "yolk" was just spicy mayo and the "white" was more of a cream cheese texture- firm, creamy, a little tart, overall mild. I think like a drizzle of coconut yogurt would've accomplished the same thing and would've been easier to mix in. The duck donburi was enjoyed by my friend. Both bowl servings were quite large and filling, which is nice considering the price is on the higher fast casual end. All in all not an awful lunch at all, with good ambiance. I don't know if I would come back myself, but if someone else wanted to come try, then i wouldn't argue.

Staff was incredibly rude, hostess starting yelling and tried to body block me as I was running to the restroom as my partner was sitting down after being told from the front staff to take a seat wherever. When speaking to the manager she simply stated we have codes to follow and can't have homeless people running to the bathroom without being seated. Both me and my partner were very much well dressed to be present. Couldn't get out of there faster ordered our drinks to go and left humiliated.

Food 3 stars. Two noodle bowls are on the greasy side. The wings coating is nice but as biting into the meat, there is slight unpleasant chicken taste. Service 4 stars. Just right tempo. Ambience 3.5 stars. Good for ppl watching and relaxing afternoon hangout. Over all is decent. Besides we miss London.

Was surprised to see how empty it was at lunch and soon realized why. The food quality has significantly deteriorated. This used to be a good place for a variety of dishes. Avoid.
