Wagon's West Restaurant

We love to find little places like this one. Small restaurant but full in flavors. We were welcomed right away by our waitress, service in general is pretty quick. Delicious French toast, biscuits with sausage gravy and a simply yet yummy classic 2 eggs and sausage. Everything was great, lots of people for a Thursday morning. Prices are very generous, we spent $50 plus tip on a huge order for two that we couldn’t even finish. Coming back soon for lunch. Thank you 🙏🏻 🥞🍳

The restaurant has been here for 42 years. And it really feel that way. I always love coming to an old establishment. It means it must be good in order to last that long. My kids love the hamburger. My home fries taste rancid. And we order blueberry pancake and they gave us chocolate pancake. Food quality really not there. So it’s not Exactly what we expected. The space just feel not that clean, sticky floor, dirty plate station. The best part is friendly staff.

first time here, but needs a massive cleaning their place...staffs are not so friendly.... ok, i order Spanish omelette but its just plain scramble eggs they just roll it and cover on top of 1 can of salsa. gross.🤮. this is not the first time i ordered omelette always had veges, meat and cheese in it.... not like this. or maybe this is their wat of spanish thingy.... then toast have molds in it so please watch you order. then the crab benedict its different as well. buy not recommend this place!

I went here for lunch. The food was pretty good. The crab cakes were decent. bacon is hard to mess up. The steak was juicy. The eggs and grits tasted well. The menu (back and front) is pictured. Things got a little distant with the employees once I was about to check out. Anyway the food was diner quality , but a little higher price.

I want to like this place. It has an old timey country feel which is great. Unfortunately you can tell that nothing has been cleaned in years. It’s really disgusting when you look around. I ordered a waffle with sausage links at the bar. The waffle looked nice on top but when I took a bite it had a burnt taste. I flipped it and it was black all over. Overall just not a great experience. Probably won’t go back.

Yuk! Is all I can think of right now. I wonder how many food violations they have. I'm sitting in my car writing this review while my experience is french on my mind. Here we go... I didn't take a picture of the food because I ate here once before and I was reminded why I never came back. I ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs over medium and bacon. My husband ordered the California omelet. The bacon came cold and looked as if it had been cooked in old oil. The food taste like absolutely nothing bland and old. He said his food "tasted old and like nothing" As I'm sitting there upset I'm looking around and there is no way this place doesn't have food violations. It's dingy and dirty, THE FOOD taste how the restaurant looks. I will never eat there again.

Wagon’s West has been around forever. It’s small inside, it has booths, high top seating at the bar, and on weekends sometimes there is a band outside where you can listen while you wait for a table. The food is a solid B+ diner food. The staff are great, the servers work hard, we’ve been going forever and enjoy it. We will be back. 👏👍❤️

The food was very good. Great service, very attentive to our needs and our waitress even assisted as far as recommending not ordering a lot of food due to the portion size. It was very nice of her. I ordered half a French toast with scrambled eggs and smoked sausage. It was good, comfort food for sure and very tasty. I would definitely return!

Sadly they closed. After 43 years looks like they closed down. So sad to see a local place shut down.

This is a local spot which has been here for a long time. It's like a country breakfast diner and that's not very typical in Miami. We have been coming here for years. Given that you do not have an abundance of options for this kind of food, we often come back. However, if we had similar options with better service in the area we wouldn't come here at all. The competition is just as bad if not worse. What I come here for is the country fried steak breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, home fries and toast, it's always very good and consistent. I've also had the chicken sandwich but it's very pricey and better at other places. They have an interesting decor and the place transports you back in time. They give you a paper ticket and you have to walk to the front of the store to wait to pay. Some times the wait is long. They are only open until 3 pm. You will often hear disgruntled employees mumbling and the owner grunting. The place looks dingy and is very dirty. Nonetheless, it is an interesting place to come for some good food and an interesting experience. I think it would be nice to visit this place if you want a taste of an authentic family owned diner that has been operating for a long time. This is not a bogie place or a tourist trap location. They are very raw in this joint.

Hands down the best local spot for a hearty breakfast and friendly service. Wagons west has been around for mad years and if you grew up around the area you've had to been, otherwise shame on you. Old fashion southern flare decor and nice and cozy atmosphere that gets packed quickly. An intimate feel for sure. It's like we're all family here. Kim was out waitress and she was fabulous. She answered questions before we even asked and refilled coffee without even needing to ask. Top notch service for real. The menu has so many options I feel like the best way is to close your eyes and point, you just cant go wrong. We winded ordering french toast to share that tasted just like home. The biggest omelette ever ( The farmers) whichbhad ham,cheese,green peppers and onions. Freaking best ever! I went with the cold.paatrami on rye with a dill pickle and the best damn cole slaw I ever had. Breakfast was fantastic. Every bite, every crunch I mean it was all delicious. You can come back here over and over again and still try something new. Treat yourself and just come here and grub!

I love love LOOOOVE this place!! Best diner food in South Florida. Im from Connecticut, where there's at least one diner on every corner. AT LEAST ONE. Move to Florida.... The diners are not diners. I feel bamboozled even time I try to go get diner food. Then my friend got a flat tire and while we waited for the tow truck we decided to grab some food and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a diner. Best food. Love it. Nostalgia. Full belly. Happiness.

Absolutely disgusted today. I've been eating at this restaurant for over 30 years. It's been a while since I last visited but today I decided to stop in for some breakfast and knock out a little paper work. I waited so long to place my order I stood up and asked someone for help. Soon after I ordered my food I noticed how hot the place was getting. Sitting furthest from the kitchen the temperature climbed so quickly I couldn't finish my coffee because I already began to sweat. That's when I looked up and noticed the wall to the booth I was sitting in was completely covered in a thick layer of dust and mold. If I wasn't absolutely starving or hadn't ordered my food, I would have gotten up to leave immediately. Instead I choose to stick it out anyway. Only to find out my grits were cold, I was rudely told there is no orange juice, and received absolutely no attention from my server after I got my food. I finally stood up and had to walk tot he counter to ask for my bill. That's when I was hit with a $32 tab for a coffee an omelet and a side of bacon. Needless to say I will never go back unless the ownership changes or a hurricane destroys the plaza and the restaurant is rebuilt completely. Someone should report this to dirty dinning. It's disgusting. They are lucky to even receive 1 star from me today (and that's because I had too).

What a wonderful hole in the wall breakfast delight. Loved everything from my cup of coffee to the eggs Benedict. If you're into a trip in time and not always the fancy. This place is for you. It's not a place for a date, but the service was spot on.

Okay I haven't been to this place in a super long time and I now I remember why. First it took over 8 minutes for anyone to say hello. When someone did acknowledge us I got attitude. Second I order very simple breakfast eggs soft scrambled potatoes sausage and toast. Food took about 15 minutes it was so so busy with open seats at the bar. So that excuse can't be used. Food came out eggs were well done not soft scramble. I didn't say anything since I was already aggravated. Finally the owner or so called owner came and noticed the mess under the table and literally wanted to sweep it up while I was eating my meal. I told him to leave it he asked if there's a problem I told him flat out yes his service sucks he went to mouthing off about how great his staff was so I said come here let's talk like men. He didn't want to do loudly I said you great staff can't cook soft scramble eggs. Since it's an open diner the main cook came out to apologize which was strange since the owner didn't want nothing to do with us. The cook tried to replace my food but by this time I was pissed off I wanted nothing else that included the owner comping my check i will pay for my food which was total shit the only think we ate was the bread and sausages. I will never go back if I wanted bad food and service I would have went to Denny or ihop but now we can add wagons west in pinecreast to the list. Hey owner you should remember me I was at table 8 had all the little torn paper everywhere.

Called before coming on a Sunday morning to make reservations. The guy on the other end laughed at me trying to make reservations, but I know how hard it is to get in to eat. So he said to come in quick that there wasn't a wait, yet . Do we hurried and mage it before 10:30. There was live music outside with chairs already set up for the flow they will have. The seasoned gentlemen were playing Margaritaville . We were able to walk in and get a table immediately. To order took a while but I have been eating here for years and I understand the delay . I ordered my favorite 1/2 Belgian waffle & eggs with Canadian Bacon with fresh orange juice. ( I walked at 7am , thought I deserved this, lol) Food is always great. Service hasn't changed much from the 80's . Everyone is moving fast and people meet at the bar or booths. The vibe is family style . If you find yourself in Pinecrest , stop I'm and say hi! Let me know how you like it!

We love Wagon's West and have for years. The food is always delicious. It's very accommodating and fun. The menu offers a very wide variety. Don't miss it!

This is a cute place reminiscent of diners in the northeast. Wagon's West has been around for a while, since my fiancé told me he used to come here when he was a kid. We got seated right away when we got here just after 9am, but within less than 10 minutes, there were lots of people coming in the door, so get here early if you want to avoid a long wait. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs with turkey sausage, a bagel and home fries. I didn't like the flavor of the sausage, and the eggs were flavorless. The home fries were crispy, but also lacked flavor. My bagel on the other hand was perfectly toasted and tasted great, which is a big deal here in south Florida! The coffee was also fantastic here, so that's why I've giving it 3 stars since there were some redeeming qualities. I think they're more known for pancakes and French toast, so I'll give it another shot and try those next time.

A shell of its former self. I guess you have to cut corners when you're paying $15.00 an hour to gen Z'ers. Case in point, I ordered the French Toast. It used to be 2 THICK SLICES of brioche bread. Today I get "regular " slices of bread. If I wanted that I would have made it at home. I ordered some hash browns and I got a greasy mound of potatoes. The owner was there but I didn't want to bring it up. The owner is a nice guy! I'll be back, but my expectations won't be as high.

We stopped here on our way to Miami Beach during our honeymoon. I LOVE diner food! My husband appeases me and goes along for the ride. He is a breakfast lover and I am a lunch lover so diners usually give us the best of both worlds. He had biscuits and gravy, hash browns, eggs, and corned beef hash. He said it was great and he couldn't eat it all. I ordered disco fries (which we cannot get in California) and they were AMAZING! The atmosphere is comfortable and the people are real! I was cracking up at the banter between the waitresses and the chefs. Great stop, you must check it out.

Ah, good ol' Wagon's West. My husband and I have been coming for years and we always order the same thing: Chili cheeseburger(chili on the side) with seasoned fries. We also order this for BREAKFAST. Nothing like starting your day off with a chili burger. Am I right? It pairs perfectly with their coffee. The service is great and the crowd is local. True Pinecrest neighbors know what a gem this place is.

Brenda was wonderful, pleasant and very helpful. Food was very tasty and good size portions, even had to take home leftovers.

Where do I begin - as a business owner myself I think it's a god dam shame to see an owner destroy a Miami Staple that has been here for 35 years. We still come down from Georgia just to have breakfast here. At least we used to. It is unfortunate that the owner sits in the front of the register folding napkins while he harasses the workers, cleans the knife with his t-shirt and complains to the customers how he doesn't have any help! Meanwhile he doesn't take the initiative to pour a cup of coffee to waiting customers at the counter or fill a cup of water- WTF! Can't tell you how many times I heard him ask total strangers " what am I going to do"? Here's what you have to do dip $&@! - sell this restaurant to someone who can bring the positive energy back to this place. You my friend are the problem- I've seen it so many times- owners don't know when to quit and soon the place has no value and it just closes down. Keep what little bit of dignity you have left and get the hell out of this business. So some young family can breath life back into this place. The problem is not Covid- Shortage of workers or kids today- you are the problem! Be proud of the years and the money you made and move on- so that in 20 years from now you can drive by or stop in and say "hey I built this place." Your just a sad man and you are slowly killing this place- get out and move on - that's what you can do.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I've taken many friends here and they all have loved it. First of all, this place for breakfast is always packed. Always, no matter what day of the week you go. It's an old school diner vibe, I've been coming here for more than ten years. They have a variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's American/southern food which is delicious. They take orders by hand and you pay in the front after your done. It's fast pace and has interesting little ornaments and quotes all around. Highly highly highly recommend, it's a cool spot! Let' me begin by saying , this is my last time stepping into this freakin place. Do yourself a favor and find another breakfast joint. I have witness the most lazy, disrespectful and worthless owner I've ever seen. As for the staff, they tried to do their best while being constantly harassed or mocked by the owner. I'm shocked the staff didn't simply just walked out. Without a doubt, he's running his business straight into the ground and he could care less. You would think the moron could assist his staff by going around refilling coffee , drinks or something. Oh NO!. He has no concept of customer service and or respect for the individuals. Lastly, your food sucks !

Grabbed a late breakfast at Wagon's West on Sunday afternoon. Shared an order of French Toast, a half order of Biscuits & Gravy, and the Wagons West Steak Benedict. Quality Wagon's West is an old-school diner that serves up all your favorite breakfast foods. We started with the French Toast, thick slices of bread covered in powdered sugar, served with a heap of butter. Once buried with maple syrup it is all you could ask for. A half order of Biscuits & Gravy comes with two good-sized biscuits soaked with a hearty sausage gravy. It needed a bit of salt and pepper sprinkled on top, but otherwise was a solid dish. Finally there is the main event, the Wagons West Steak Benedict. Potatoes, diced onions, tomatoes with sliced skirt steak, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce on top. It is a huge helping and comes with a side of toast. Even thinly sliced, the skirt steak comes out cooked perfectly, tender and tasty. The different elements of the dish blend together well and the hollandaise while light was a perfect topping. Quantity No matter what dish you order it is going to be massive. This is a diner steeped in tradition and they know that no customers should leave until they are full. Value Wagon's West is known for its breakfast and all of the items on the menu are a bargain. The huge Wagons West Steak Benedict comes in under $15, and considering it had a good 6-8oz steak sliced up on it, a wonderful deal. Ambiance Wagon's West is a country themed diner located in a strip mall down in Kendall. It is a cramped space built around the kitchen. On the weekend expect a wait, but they do have chairs set up and a two man band performing country songs. Inside the seating options are a row of booths along the right wall or sit at the bar along the kitchen side. We were put into one of the strangely lifted booths. It requires a step up in order to get into the seat. Every wall in the restaurant is covered with old advertisements, comics, antlers, photos, and any other item you would expect to see at a yard sale. They have several tiny televisions placed near the ceiling, but they were all on random channels showing news shows and telenovelas. I believe music was on in the background, but it was drowned out by the crowd and the sounds of the kitchen. Crowd Wagon's West is a popular breakfast spot on the weekends. It was about a ten minute wait when we arrived, but they have chairs and a band while you wait. The guests are primarily older folks, likely long-time patrons, and families. Crying children is a common sounds once you are inside. Service Our waitress had no time to even waste a word on us. She took our order and was off and on her way, which I feel like is pretty standard for a classic diner. The bigger issue, one also too common at diners, was the cleanliness. Dirty plates, plastic glasses old as time, and a syrup container caked with stickiness. While I would not expect the world, it should definitely be better. Parking Parking is no problem with a large lot for the strip mall. It is oddly arranged, so make sure you are going the right direction when you turn in. Extra The reason to visit Wagon's West is the delicious food. You can expect a wait, staff that are pushing you in and out, and less than pristine place settings, but you can also expect some of the best breakfast food in Miami. Make sure to order the namesake benedict.

Only took two visits to give this review. In a nutshell : average food, decent service, rude arrogant a-hole owner. Spend $50 for two breakfasts and not even a thank you and barely an acknowledgment that you exist when paying the bill from Wally.Just a gimme the f'n money attitude. Go have yourself a stroke you crotchety old f#%*!! Absolutely NO manners or appreciation for his customers. Go to your local Cuban cafe for a better breakfast, attitude, and price. Never again.

We should have read the reviews before going to order breakfast for take out on a Sunday. - Order placed after standing in line. - Went next door to CVS to kill some time. - Came back about 20 minutes later and to see if the order was ready, it wasn't. I went outside and left hubby to wait. - He waited an additional 25-30 minutes before it was finally ready. - The older guy at the cash (seems to be the owner) realized the toast wasn't there, went to the back and came out with the toast in his bare hands and put it into the container. (So unhygienic since you're handling cash, cash register etc). - There was really no way to check the food was all there before walking out, wish he had checked because our two side orders of sausage weren't there. From other reviews I've read, it seems the guy at the register is the owner. Others' comments about him complaining about the staff are correct. He was constantly saying, "what I gonna do" to customers about his staff. At one point of the servers told him that he shouldn't seat more customers because it would take an hour before they got their food and he ignored him. As owner, take ownership of the situation, put some processes in place to make things run smoother. Maybe ask your staff what improvements could be made. Don't complain to customers and ask "what I am going to do". Treating your employees nicely goes a long way in improving morale and making for a better working environment. If you're not willing to do that anymore, then maybe it is time for you to get out of the business. If you no longer enjoy what you're doing, it shows. To quote my husband, "complete and utter chaos in that place".

First time here and couldn't of enjoyed myself more. As soon as I walked in it reminded me of old school New York diners. I could t of asked for a nicer cook who actually made a point to make small talk with us. Then once the food came wow. The food was exactly how I like it. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving a old school diner experience with great food.

Food was freshly prepared and quickly received. I had the French toast with a side of bacon. Both tasty. Service as beyond friendly and the ambiance felt as if you were right at home. Perfect throwback diner atmosphere. Will return for their lunch meals!

Such a cute concept. Felt like I walked into the Wild West. Such good vibes on a Sunday morning got seated right away because the have big wrap around bar seating. We sat by the kitchen and it reminded me of Waffle House but all the food was big portions and looked amazing!! Quality of food was great too!!! My only issue was the the bill came to $47?!!! For breakfast. Then at the front the person charging us for the food doubled check the bill and said our waiter forgot to charge us for an item and changed the bill to $52!!!! Ok maybe we ordered a lot but still kinda pricey for breakfast for 2 people. We will definitely come back but try to watch out for what we order so we dont get shocked with a huge bill.

Our waitress was borderline rude - long blond, braided ponytail. No clue what her name was since she never introduced herself. She seemed to be very rushed and the place was almost empty when we arrived - I had to ask for condiments more than once. She never returned to "check on us"... or even thanked us. She brought our check not knowing if we wanted anything else - maybe she was having a bad day. The food was decent - nothing special. I don't think we will be returning.

I have been here a handful of times and this establishment has yet to disappoint. I love the atmosphere, customer service, and the food. My go-to plate tends to be the Colorado omelette which includes skirt steak, peppers, and tomatoes. This plate like others is a generous portion and takes up most of the plate. Wagon's West is my favorite place to go eat breakfast.

Truly disappointed! We were a party of two. Walked in. No one even greeted us, acknowledged us or offered to seat us. Finally, someone behind the counter pointed us to a booth. A server came and we asked for 2 coffees and water. He brought the coffee cups but no spoons. Another server came and took our order and we asked for spoons. 10 minutes later we used our butter knives to stir the cream in our coffee. We never got our spoons. Then we waited and waited. We made gestures to the staff behind the counter to inquire about our order. They never responded. Thirty minutes later we left, never having received our food, never having been spoken to, apologized to....

Food was fine--regular diner fare--but the owner (I assume it's the owner) was a nightmare. He walked around berating his staff and complaining about them to the customers. He specifically kept after one of his servers and she somehow resisted the urge to snap back it him. It was truly awful to see hardworking people treated so disrespectfully. Obviously we don't know what could be going on behind the scenes to have angered him so much, but there is no excuse for harassment, especially right there in front of the customers. Honest, hardworking people deserve better.

Breakfast is calling. So is Peter Betan, who usually plays solo guitar every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month between 10am and 1pm to folks on the wait list and are seated outside of the restaurant. Patrons appreciate the music while they are waiting. Inside it's packed at this hour which is also when we came. But our wait wasn't long. After greeting Peter he asked "What are you having ?" I wasn't sure, so recommended the Shrimp and Grits, which is what I ordered after being seated at the bar. Also put in an order of coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. This 40 year old dinner has a saloon-like feeling to it plastered with old trinkets from Cola signs to bull horns. It makes you feel at home and so do the folks who serve you. The grits were a perfect blend with small to medium pieces of shrimp and an unexpected spicy sausage, but this was probably the best shrimp and grits I've tasted. Nicole had a omelet wrap with cheddar and sausage which was also divine. The generous portions were enough to reheat for a second breakfast the next day. Feeling revived and ready take on the rest of the afternoon it was time to push on to pick Strawberries.

Made the mistake of visiting this establishment for the first time since COVID. Walked in to find no social distancing at the bar without the slightest attempt to adhere to CDC guidelines. Every table and chair was filled in the entire restaurant. The very "credible" Newsmax channel playing on the TV captivating the customers sitting at the bar shoulder to shoulder without a hint of protection even though they were in different parties. If you are a Trumper who enjoys conspiracy theories, this is the place for you!! The owner himself setting the example by going table to table spewing nonsense to his regulars while wearing a mask hanging under his chin to "comply" with regulations. You would think after nearly 40 years in business one would have the tact and understanding to make different decisions in their place of business especially in South Florida. Our server was great and the food was OK. It may have all felt a little better had the environment not been so uncomfortable for those of us that don't dabble in lies, misinformation, and nonsense. Definitely the last time we will ever spend a dime in this establishment. A truly regrettable experience to say the least.

Great place to eat with friends and family. Amazing environment. The service is amazing. I recommend for Miami locals who wants that authentic dinning experience.

If zero stars were an option, I'd give it. Walked in with our twins in a stroller and were immediately given an "oh sh*t" look. Waitress at the counter looked over at what seemed to be the only table that might possibly accommodate a stroller (how the heck anyone in a wheel chair or scooter is able to eat here idk, sounds like a major code problem) , and noticed people were already sitting there (no food or drinks on table yet). She went and got another waitress to see what to do (problem solving skills at this establishment seem to be sub par). They barely spoke, the 2nd waitress shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't really care, they asked if the babies could possibly not be in stroller, to which we said no; mind you, im not even sure if they were suggesting for them to sit in the booth, because if an umbrella stroller wasn't gonna fit, how would 2 high chairs fit? And then what are we supposed to do with our stroller once they are out of it? After us saying they needed to remain in the stroller she looked at the ONE possible table again and just said "sorry they already ordered" mind you, not even water was set on the table, and if they were REALLY trying to accommodate us, they could have asked if the gentleman were willing to move. I usually would have tried to facilitate, but not worth my time, energy, or money at a restaurant like this. Their loss. The interaction we had with staff was all of 1 minute and that was enough to know, I didn't want to be there. It was such an awkward exchange that another patron looked at us and said "that is messed up, I'm so sorry."

Absolutely love this place, so quaint and friendly ownership with service! Food is delicious as well and the coffee is necessary! Can't wait to go back.

This restaurant has been around for 40 years, and it's one of the places I'd go to when I, once in a while, feel like stuffing myself with a big American breakfast. A few things I like about this place: - On weekend mornings this place is packed, and to make the wait easier, they put out plenty of chairs, and a table for free coffee and lemonade!! - They are happy to substitute fries or meat in the breakfast for a cup of fruit. - Staff is super friendly. - A good variety of breakfast menus. For Sat and Sun they have special items like shrimp and grits (delicious!!), and chicken waffle.

I love this place!! The coffee, the Benedict (sauce made in house and definitely one of my top three), home fries, hasbrowns, all of it was amazing!!!this place is underrated on Yelp!

If you want yummy American breakfast with a cute American feel... this is the place. The workers are so friendly and you can tell they've worked there for years. They also have live music on the weekends I believe... at least they did when we went on Saturday.

Great place to enjoy breakfast any time of the day. I really love the omelletes here and the service is exceptional. I also like that you can enjoy live music outside while you wait to be seated. There are many choices of food on the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The ambience is really chill. I highly recommend dining here.

I was at the local CVS and decided to grab a bagel from here to-go before heading out to Monday-morning work (ugh). This bagel sandwich (egg cheese & bacon) just turned my whole Monday mood around! First of all, it was monstrous, cooked fresh, and tasted amazing. The staff was friendly and offered me a coffee while waiting for my food. The atmosphere was lively and I could hear the familiar conversations between staff and "regulars" which instantly told that this was a neighborhood spot. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

A Miami (Pinecrest) staple! If you know you know and if you don't, you need to go find out! There's a reason people are willing to wait for a bit to have a meal at Wagons West. On weekends, in the mornings you're likely to wait for your table but trust me when I tell you it's so worth it. It's a cozy restaurant with great selection of foods. My favorite time to go is for breakfast. Their French toast is yummy and so are all their eggs Benedict. Very friendly service. 10/10 would recommend

Came here for brunch last weekend since we were in the area. Loved the ambience, definitely didn't feel like Miami, with all the silly signs and western deco. It was crowded so we had to put our name down for a table. There's nowhere to wait inside so we had to stand outside in the parking lot to be called. It was only about a 10 minute wait, so not a huge deal, but it was chilly (high 50s maybe?). There was a woman pouring hot coffee for people waiting. It wasn't that greatest but it helped keep me warm. We were sat at the bar and had to squeeze by a couple people because space is tight throughout the place. The menu had lots of choices with breakfast served all day. I opted for a roast beef melt with a side of seasoned fries. My boyfriend got a delicious monstrous meatloaf sandwich. Both sandwiches were cooked to perfection and plenty of food. The fries were crisp and flavored well. The service was attentive. I definitely understand why people would be regulars here. All the breakfast plates looked great and the atmosphere is fun, down to the "family restarant" sign.

Been waiting 10 min on hold to place an order then the guy hangs up. Walked in to order explained to the owner and he blames me for waiting instead of calling back. Tells me he's got 3 young kids working and they're packed. I said you sound like you're blaming me. To that he said it's not my fault either. What a jack%^% he's always been a jerk no wonder he can't keep people working. The food is also mediocre that's on me for coming back and giving him my business.

The food is amazing but they do cook without gloves and it doesn't help that I also found a hair on my eggs and an ant on my french toast this morning (to go order). Maybe this is something they need to implement on their restaurant policy for employees. Also I was charged an extra $5 on my tab and didn't go by the prices on the menu. After seeing the ant, I did call the restaurant and talk to the owner which seemed upset by my complain. He didn't say I'm sorry or rather offer a free meal on the house. He simply said ok and ended the conversation. I was honestly disappointed being that this has been my 3rd time eating from that restaurant. Sadly to say I won't be going back.

This is a very, very tight place but that's what also makes the expirience here. There's always a wait for breakfast and brunch, since it's hot outside and you'd have to wait outside but they have nice entertainment in the weekend morning, some local great music. They also have some seats, complimentary lemonade for people waiting outside. I dont think this place is a place for a party bigger than 5 or 6 because all they have available are booths or bar top. Its kind of confusing when you go in because theres so much going on in a small space and the hostess is a lady who is sitting down at the bar top who writes down names and I dont think its helpful for new people to know where to go. The food sometimes takes a bit because of so much people but the options are good southern country breakfast options. Again, got to say if your party is bigger than 5 or 6, best to go elsewhere for breakfast or you'll be waiting a while and will sit probably in seperate booths. This place is nice but also conflicted because of this that makes them different than other restaurants.

The best food ever! The place is amazing, great family restaurant. The breakfast lunch and dinner menus are to die for and they serve a good hardy meal.

Only a 3.5 star place but hey I'll give it a chance. Went in past people waiting to the counter. Several seats open. Asked if there was a line for counter. Was told no . So I sit and start to wait. You acknowledge me I'm good. Coffee within 5 minutes I'm happy. I got neither waiting for 10 minutes! I won't be back . Going down the street to toasters.
