We discovered this restaurant as part of a hotel package. We were quite disappointed by our experience. While Wallonia is known for its warm hospitality, the welcome here felt impersonal — more like a number among many. The atmosphere didn’t help either: cold and noisy, with loud house music that made it hard to enjoy the moment.
As for the food, which is supposed to be the highlight in a meat-focused restaurant, our côte à l’os saignante was served cold. The fries were poorly cooked — quite a letdown in Belgium, where they’re a point of pride. Sauces didn’t redeem the experience either: the pepper sauce lacked depth, and the Béarnaise was far too salty.
With prices as high as they are, we expected much better. Overall, the ambiance felt more like a canteen than a quality dining spot. There’s potential, but both service and food need serious attention.
