Wagyu

Deze review is niet mals, net als het vlees hier. Aesthetically pleasing place but sauce was €6 and carpaccio comes straight from the fridge. The beer was great and wine was fine for what its worth. The waiters were nice and helpful. My friend ordered spare ribs and it looked like road kill, see attached. Side dishes seem rushed and cheap as well. The price point doesnt match the quality at all.

A very nice restaurant with good food but for these prices (we did have the wagyu steaks) you would expect more. Like cooking at the table? There are more tourists with shorts there eating hamburgers which we like, but that doesn’t count up for the prices of the other meals. We did use a 1 star restaurant before with same price but the experience there was much more value. However, the Wagyu steaks were great! Service was nice but some speak only French language, in 2025?

I had dinner here last night. Pretty big restaurant with 2 levels of putdoor seating. Funny enough, the place was pretty much empty except for maybe 5 tables. Did not expect that on a Thursday night, but this was fine for me. Very friendly staff I must say. I had a Dubel beer to start off, because I was thirsty. I ordered the Wagyu Bavette and it was cooked to perfection, delicious! Also the truffle fries were really good, perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Even the green beans were tasty: fresh and seasoned well. The Malbec paired really well so I was happy with my decision and decided to have a few more glasses. Should have bought a bottle, but oh well.. Thinking about coming back today, because it was a great experience. Tnx Wagyu

The food was very good and the service/waitress too ☺️. A little notice: unfortunately the glasses had many stains and marks. Nevertheless the location was great.

O.M.G. A small sauce on the side is 6!!!! euro in this restaurant. That is just robbery in plain sight. Apparently they are kings in exaggerating, because they also fabulously overprice their meat. I was genuinely suprised that they didn't charge the inhaled oxygen during our dinner. Dont even start with my spare ribs. No way in the world that can qualify as meat. The substance they dare to call meat was chewy and I had to tear it off the bones with force; even a starving volture would not have finished them. The only positive thing was the waiter, he responded really adequately to all our complaints. Please go here if you want to rob yourself and overpay enormously for your meat!

Nice restaurant with a large variety of meat dishes. We preferred the filet pur over the bavette wagyu. Dishes come without any fries, sauce, or side dish, which you have to order separately. Certain wines can be ordered by the glass. Restaurant is connected to hotel, next door.

The meat was good, I liked the chicken also. Variety of side dishes. It is located in the city center with an easy access and parking next to it.

As you would expect, very professional and polite personnel. High quality establishment and food. Very nicely grilled and great desert. Of course it's pricy but I thought it was definitely worth it. Located in the ever so beautiful historic center of Durbuy as part of Les Sangliers restaurants and hotel.
