Where to Find New Orleans’s Best Comfort Food - Eater New Orleans

"Love this cheery breakfast spot, with locations in Mid City and Uptown. Although Wakin Bakin is packing up a limited menu, the biscuits are on it, smothered in sausage gravy, the way the good lord intended. Comes with two eggs and four slices of bacon. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for contactless delivery and curbside pickup." - Beth D'Addono

Mid City Breakfast Joint Opens Location in Uptown - Eater New Orleans

"Mid City breakfast spot Wakin’ Bakin’ has opened a location in Uptown, taking over the space most recently occupied by Coulis, and before that by the much-loved Bluebird Cafe. The Uptown address (3625 Prytania Street) features the same menu as Mid City’s location, opened in 2013 by Conrad Chura and Zak Pizzeck after a year of popping up at the Holy Ground Irish Pub. The new Wakin’ Bakin’ will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily." - Clair Lorell

Google
Friend in town so I decided to take him to brunch. Love the mid city location so I had to try this one. Staff was friendly, and they asked for vax cards. Food was delicious and I love the smashed hash potatoes! I had a sourdough sandwich (w/o bacon) and it was tasty! Didn't realize how much I needed the fresh squeezed OJ in my life today! Great location as it is walking distance from my house! Yum!

Google
This is a great addition to the neighborhood. Service was fantastic. The space bright, eclectic, and inviting. Street parking can be tricky due to the hospital but a few minutes rounding the blocks yielding a close spot. The same delicious food as the Uptown location made its way to this spot. I especially love the hashbrown bowl with avocado!

Google
Delicious food and excellent customer service! Will definitely be returning. Their menu is short but nothing on it will disappoint. I got the biscuits and gravy. Many places either have a good gravy or a good biscuit, but this dish does it right with both the biscuit AND the gravy. I'll definitely be returning.

Google
Great staff, great food, great vibes! I’ve been here a couple times and I always enjoy sitting outside. I had one small issue, I asked for my eggs to be “over medium” but they came out virtually uncooked. Our waiter was enough to accommodate and acknowledge the error. Overall, perfect spot for breakfast.

Google
I opened the door and was greeted by the delightful sounds of the blues, the wake me up smell of coffee and sizzling meats, and a pleasant greeting from the staff. I was quickly seated and my order was taken. I ordered the avocado toast and it came with this nice addition of a garlic spread to the sourdough bread which made for a nice taste. My wife also reports that the sausage buiscuit I got to go was also delicious. Nice people, nice sounds, nice eats. You can't go wrong with Wakin Bakin.

Google
Great brunch spot, they open earlier than most, and the quality and price is great. Had been here once with my sister from out of town back in 2019 and thought Biscuits on Banks was better, but since the pandemic both restaurants redid their menus and I think Wakin Bakin is probably the best breakfast spot uptown. The service is always timely and the workers seem happy to be there. The hardest part is choosing what to eat because all the options are good. It does have a relatively small interior, though there is plenty of outdoor seating, but that means in inclement weather you may have to wait for a table. If you are bringing a large party they may have trouble accommodating, most interior tables are setup to accommodate 2-4 people, the outside picnic tables could easily fit 6.

Wow, just wow. This friendly, relaxed diner serves incredible flavors! My friends and I visited twice during our visit to NOLA. We enjoyed everything we ordered: OG Bowl, SuperBowl (vegan) and Heart Healthy Omelette. The chefs have mastered the textures and flavors of the cajun smashed hash, grits, the chili lemongrass tofu, and the creamy seasoned black beans. The sourdough is perfect. They use a special blend of French Truck coffee and I didn’t need cream or sugar. The servers are friendly and enthusiastic. I hope to return!

And I absolutely love this place We always sit in the back and services excellent. We love the grids they are definitely extra creamy. We're glad they came back strong after the pandemic.

Yelp
I've been craving a breakfast burrito for a hot minute. I'm never really over here at any point for breakfast, but it's just a quick drive from the house, and Wakin' Bakin' was recommended to me by a friend, so I figured I'd give them a try. Now, be forewarned, I have no idea about actually eating there. I've only gotten the burrito, twice, but have never eaten it at their location. The best I've done was order ahead online and then pick it up and take it home. The burrito was a bit smaller than I expected for the price, but it was flavorful. I also ordered a side of bacon (to share with my dogs), but that was only a few slices for $5 -- definitely not worth the price. Pick-up is easy, you just head to the bar and they have a little "cooler" keeping the food warm and they'll hand it over to you as soon as someone can be flagged down to actually help you. The first time there were four workers around not doing much (only one table of customers at the time), each had seen me but it still took 10 minutes for someone to finally hand over the food. I haven't really found any great breakfast burrito option in the city as of yet, but for right now, this seems to be as good a place as any if you're in the mood.

Yelp
Small casual place perfect for a quick and delicious breakfast! They even have a vegan option (which are normally hard to find) It was very filling and so good! And the service was really great! I wouldn't have expected it at a small place like this.

Yelp
A long time ago, years, we enjoyed a brunch over at their Mid-City location. At that time, the beloved Blue Bird Cafe was a favorite place before it closed because of Ida or COVID or who knows what. Wakin' Bakin' has taken over that airy old-time high-ceilinged space and I'm glad to report that they are carrying forward the Blue Bird's legacy largely intact. This is not a hollandaise Benedict kind of breakfast, but more of old-time diner informed by such updates as "sourdough" and "avocado." Both of those elements are part of the "Sourdough King," a sandwich that's one of the pricier menu items. It looked a little small and sandwich-ey upon arrival, but ultimately it proved to be a perfectly sized portion, especially when paired with the cup of creamy grits side. Grits too often tastes and feels like white cardboard, but this lil bowl was creamy and flavorful and did not need pepper or cheese to make it appealing. It's a small menu but has a surprising diversity of dishes, and a couple of vegan options (but most dishes have bacon, cheese, or meat). The OG bowl looks good, probably will try that next time. Special shout-out to guy seating patrons and running the register that was adjacent to my perch in the single seat bar. He was friendly in the extreme, helpful, and actually fun to watch work. Coffee is French Truck and 3 bucks, and they come around with refills. Delicious and hot as French Truck oughta be, but I almost skipped going in because another review quoted coffee at $5. I was relieved to find that posting was wrong. I'm just too old and curmudgeonly to pay five dollars for cup of black hot coffee, especially when that buys me about a week of pots from Costco. Speaking of pots....I recently learned that I was as naïve about the term "wake and bake" as the late Loretta Lynn was with slang that almost cost WCBL their FCC license in 1960. For years, I would see the name "Wakin' Bakin'" and conjure up visions of bakers in toques working from before sunrise to bring their customers fresh bread and pastry. Nope. Thanks to my wife and walking urban dictionary, TIL that "wakin' and bakin'" has to do with morning pot, and not the coffee brewing kind. Oops.

Yelp
Great breakfast and great location in the garden district. They even sell t-shirts. Super fun and located in a very safe place. Affordable and great food.

Yelp
WOW!! We came here on a whim and I left full, impressed, and wanting to come back!! The Cajun potato hash was absolutely amazing - perfectly crispy, soft, and packed with flavor. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. Our server, Juicy, gave great recommendations and we were impressed with her kindness. The star of the show was unexpected the BISCUITS for me! Holy cow- I'm not a biscuit person but Wakin' Bakin biscuits have converted me. Absolutely delicious!

Yelp
From the beginning we walked in and were seated promptly. Wait staff were all helpful and attentive. We ordered coffee and had enough time to select our food and order. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. The biscuits did have a hint of sweet on them but they were fresh made. They were not as hot as I'd like them to be but they were very good. Accompanying them was fresh handmade pork Pattie's and two eggs cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the healthy shrimp omelette. It was delicious. The best kept secret was the made -in-house sourdough bread. OMG I'd buy it by the loaf because it was amazing. If ya in the Touro area stop in and give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Everything was DELICIOUS! Stopped in for a quick brunch....and it did not disappoint! My sister is vegan so there was enough options for her. Great service and the food came out within a reasonable amount of time. Everything was extremely tasty and great portion sizes. I definitely recommend stopping in! P.S. they have the BEST sourdough ever!

Yelp
I dropped in to get coffee prior to my laboratory appointment. They have a lovely cold brew. I added oat milk to it and was super happy. I was also excited to find the other location if this restaurant so close to the lab. And the server was super sweet.

Yelp
I want so bad to like this neat little hole in the wall. It has great local flair. Unfortunately the service was notably lacking and the "SuperBowl" was not worth the 45min wait or $17 price. We were seated fairly quickly (maybe 5 mins) but it took 10 more minutes to even get water/coffee order placed. There are about 14 tables and four servers plus a manager type guy bussing tables, so I don't understand why service was a challenge. When we ordered water/coffee/OJ we also ordered a side of grits just to get started, like a breakfast appetizer. I had to ask several times about getting the grits which finally arrived about 40 minutes into the experience. Much of that time was spent with an empty coffee cup and no server checking in or the manager looking over while I tried to catch his gaze. When the "SuperBowl" finally arrived I was first greeted with very browned avocado and a rather unappealing presentation for the rest of it. The taste was decent but not worth the 45 min wait or $17 cost. When the bill came ironically there is a 3% "Culinary Gratuity" added in as a line item. I really want to say nice things. So the good: grits were very good and the OJ was very tasty (though not worth $6.50). There are so many other options in Uptown. We will not be coming back to Wakin' Bakin'.

Yelp
Cool little hipster spot in the garden district. My wife and I hop on a trolley and tell the driver Go West young man! Actually, the trolley can only go west until it loops and heads east. We're going to meet our walking tour but left early to have breakfast. I did a Yelp search and found Wakin' Bacon close to the meet spot. We're seated and are given menus. I don't want anything too heavy so my breakfast selection is "The Usual" comes with eggs, bacon and a homemade biscuit with a side. I asked for my eggs over medium and they were scrambled. Not a big deal but I'm just passin' thru so I nod as I enjoy my beautifully baked home made biscuit. Nice spot to enjoy a good breakfast
google avatar

Arnesto S.

Yelp
Oh this breakfast spot is awesome. Great ambiance, perfect location, food is awesome and the service was great. Had a great time with my friends Marcia and her beau Mike. It's just an overall great spot to meet up with friends and eat and enjoy without all the noise and rush.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was a little slow. They only had one server. Very nice atmosphere.

Yelp
Yes, breakfast delivered! The grits ARE creamy and the scrambled eggs are yummy! The delivery was quick and I am pleased.

Yelp
Found this place when Ruby and Another were swamped. Close to the house and the food was great! Had pancakes, eggs and homemade sausage. Saturday is $5 Bloody's and Sunday is $5 mimosa!

Yelp
Happened upon this place on the way to Matassa's Market. It's on the corner of Dauphine & Dumaine Sts, 1 block away from the river from Bourbon St in the residential area. The Shrimp Étouffée & grits came with an egg on top and was to die for! They nailed the roux for the étouffée - best I've had in NOLA! Their SuperBowl is also worth the visit as well
google avatar

Unknown S.

Yelp
The service wasn't all that with only one server, bathrooms could have been cleaner and the food was beyond lackluster. The shrimp weren't deveined and the food in general could've been better. Everything ordered lacked flavor and wasn't pleasant aside from the pancakes
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
I still miss the Blue Bird at this location... they had some hippie-ish egg dish that always set me right, but I am enjoying having Wakin Bakin in the neighborhood. It's clean, affordable and quick! They do have mimosas and the like if you want a boozy breakfast, but usually I'm in here and out pretty quickly. I am a fan of their biscuits so get those as an add on fsure. Last visit was just an OJ, scrambled eggs with swiss and a biscuit. Delicious and fast. All the servers are friendly and efficient. Parking is on the street and don't neglect paying the meters!
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE! My first week of working uptown I stumbled across them walking to work. While kinda being late and rushing in on my first day I got just the eggs scrambled not just one egg TWO and the homemade sourdough toast! For around $4 a STEAL! Now later that week I kicked it up a notch I took a risk and ordered grits now and grits isn't something I typically get in restaurant because it's all about consistency! These grits though were AMAZING! They didn't need anything and I love to doctor up me some grits but nope wasn't needed this time. So with my grits and eggs and toast I got a great breakfast that kept me full a little after 1PM and I had breakfast around 7:30AM.
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
Showed up at 7:30am on a Saturday. Cute place, lots of color. Has a neighborhood feel. Coffee from French Truck- YUM! I got the OG Bowl which was great! I live for a bowl, though. The honey butter biscuit was halved and grilled. Really delicious flavor and moist texture. Server was great. Everything was timely. Love adding new places to my breakfast list. Definitely a do over!

Yelp
Delish experiment, high quality ingredients put together in a fun way-friendly staff. Very pleased.

Yelp
While wandering through the French Quarter last night I stopped in the Absinthe House on Bourbon and was talking with Nancy, the awesome bartender and local who works there. Breakfast was the topic, as I was in the mood for some breakfast before I headed out of town today, and she sent me to this amazing place in Uptown. It's small and unassuming and if you sneeze you may miss it as you pass by. I happened to be driving and parking was fairly easy right on the street in front. A very spacious dining area with an old school but yet modern vibe to it. My server Andre was fantastic and not only very welcoming but very informative about the menu that I must say was quite impressive. I decided to go with the barbecue shrimp and grits with homemade sourdough toast... Aside from a bit of Crystal hot sauce no salt or pepper or anything was needed as the flavor on this dish was absolutely off the charts! The Herb rub on the shrimp with the roue of the grits was perfection. I really can't say enough...I will without a doubt be back. PS they have booze and delightful ice coffee too !
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Staff is awesome, everyone was so friendly and so fun! The restaurant itself has a weird ambience, almost feels like an old government building or something. It's dark and has a weird vibe. They need some more light and color... $5 for 2 mimosas on Sundays is a great deal! Food was pretty good, I defiantly recommend the Cajun hash as a side and adding some cheddar cheese. Overall, I'd give the food a solid 4.5. I also like that the portions aren't huge compared to most of New Orleans... Scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, not dry at all.

Jasmine M.

Yelp
I came in on a slow Thursday morning with my toddler and the staff was so accommodating and gave us amazing service. We ordered the pancake breakfast and it was a lot of food. The pancakes were very fluffy. I also ordered a side of grits and a fruit cup. The grits were so good and creamy, the fruit was very fresh. They didn't take long at all, we'll definitely be back when we're in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Shane M.

Yelp
Great little hole in the wall breakfast place. Good prices, large portions and everything we had was delicious. Super friendly staff as well. Plus the wait here was way shorter than other more "popular" breakfast places and this was better in every respect.
google avatar

Holly K.

Yelp
We got there at 1:00. At 1:1, the waitress came and told us she couldn't take our order because the kitchen was backed up. It was going to be 10 minutes to order and 25 minutes more for them to clear the orders they had. We were debating whether to stay when the table next to us had their order taken! Then we paid for the juice that our kids ordered. Those were SIX dollars each...for 2 kids' juices. When I told her we knew the other table got their order accepted, she was unapologetic. We will never go back.
google avatar

Lynn O.

Yelp
Roomy and casual place. Tasty coffee. Some classics and some interesting originals. Creamy grits are in fact really creamy. Pancakes are homemade and syrup was above average for a restaurant. OG bowl was big and filling. Yogurt and granola plentiful serving size and a good combo of creamy and crunchy. No complaints. Friendly and fast service. Will definitely return.
google avatar

Erin D.

Yelp
This is our first time here and it was a 5 star experience! Alyssa was a very knowledgeable, courteous, polite and friendly server. I highly recommend the pancakes, bacon and smashed potatoes. The coffee was also excellent. We will be back!!
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
I had the usual breakfast. It was meh. Limp bacon, dry biscuit, and the cajun potatoes weren't great. When you see the inflatable bacon outside, keep driving.
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
So if you want a cool, different place to have breakfast, it's my favorite breakfast place I've found in a long time. If you don't like long waits to be seated (due to popularity plus covid restrictions), go to IHOP and nothing wrong with that. Just saying this place is different. They make a lot of their own stuff from scratch there, is what I'm saying. You are a guest there, so if you mind your manners and are nice, you'll have a good time. If you're expecting the corporate chain servility from a major chain place, this is not for you. It's more like you walked into their home to have a nice meal. Ambiance is hip, so don't expect some kind of Pier 1 Imports conformity here. They have a personality, and they show it. I loved it. The home made sausage, the perfect bacon, some of the best grits I've ever had (a dish that doesn't normally stand out on its own), home made sourdough toast, great breakfast potatoes, just fantastic. Very reasonable prices for the quality they offer. Hidden off to the side in Garden District area, not too far a walk from Magazine which is kind of the tourist promenade for the area, worth ambling over to but do call ahead or get reservations.

Yelp
We've been to the uptown Wakin' Bakin' when we lived in the neighborhood, tried our local wakin' only to go back to Prytania. The restaurant team is always welcoming, food is delicious and drinks are cheap. We had the pleasure of meeting Tonya on our most recent trip- what a lovely person! We will be coming back because of the hospitality, but mainly to see Tonya. She is absolutely amazing. She takes pride in her work and clearly loves connecting with her customers.

Yelp
After our trip to the Zoo, I wanted to grab some breakfast. We end up here and were the only customer. Their seatings are all spaced out to keep up with the social distancing and hand sanitizer at the entrance for customers to use. I started out with coffee and had the Big John with a side of grits. Fresh Honey Butter Biscuit sandwiches with homemade sausage patty, a over easy egg, and melted sharp cheddar. I'm glad I got my egg over easy because their biscuit were dry. Beside the dry biscuit, I enjoyed my breakfast. I also order a side of grits but my waiter told me that it was packed with my togo order of the Patty Melt. The Patty Melt came with Dijon mustard, caramelized onions & melted Swiss cheese on homemade Sourdough and a side but I only got the grits that came with my breakfast. I drop off the Patty I'll Melt to my nephew and he really enjoyed it. The smell of the caramelized onions was so tempting for me to take a bite before I drop it off to him. I'm a little disappointed that since I were the only customer there, my order would came out correctly. I got a refill on my coffee but I were never asked how were my food. My waiter left my togo order in a warmer bag which I appreciate but after I paid my bill, he totally forgotten about it and I had to ask for it. I'll understand if they were busy and forgot about it but like I said, I were the only customer in there.

Yelp
WELCOME, SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE! The naysayers are impolitic. We need this breakfast spot here. Family's of the infirm at Touro need a good cheap breakfast. All such are less than $6 here. Regardless.. AVOID THE $3 COFFEE if on a budget.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
Coffee was good. Service was friendly. Then came the important part... The food. Bad, really really bad. The eggs were edible, and were the best part of a very substandard meal. The bacon was limp, greasy and cold, and the hash brown were down right foul. They were soggy and mushy, did not taste like potatoes at all, I don't know what they tasted like. One bite and I had to spit it out. Tasted gross. Inedible. With other breakfast options out there, that will be were I venture to next.
google avatar

Lori F.

Yelp
I was so looking forward to my breakfast, but sadly after getting the order wrong, giving me old milk for my coffee and when I asked for a new cup putting it in a dirty cup. When I asked what the black spots in my eggs where, I was told it was pre-seasoned, so I asked for unseasoned eggs, well the new eggs smelled like cleaning fluid. So disappointing.

B B.

Yelp
Huge portions and delicious food. A little bit touristy, but that's kinda to be expected uptown.
google avatar

Marcia W.

Yelp
Great spot for a simple breakfast. Coffee was hot. I had the pancakes with eggs over medium and bacon. Pancakes (3) were thin, light and sooooooo fluffy!! If you love pancakes, you will just die for them. In Covid-19 world, you can book reservation on Open Table. Masks are required upon entry and whenever you move with restaurant. They have three tables set up outside- 2 are under a tent. As you enter, there's hand sanitizer on the hostess stand on the left. The fans are blowing and the air is circulating at a good rate, but not uncomfortable to the patrons. The tables are spaced apart and you use your phone to read the menu. Our waitress was cute and sweet. Our coffees were never low and they have MEXICAN COKE! Great hangover cure. We even got Togo order and it was packaged very well. The only negative thing...the waitresses want to grab your mug to pour the coffee instead of leaving mug on table and just pour. It's dangerous to them cause they can burn their hand.
google avatar

Walter S.

Yelp
Friendly little hole in the wall feeling spot with healthy food and a committed kitchen and front of house team. Simple, straightforward kind of fare, well prepared. Bonus for outdoor seating and kindness to those without vax cards handy. Even though the avocado toast was off the menu there was a vegetarian option.
google avatar

Jill C.

Yelp
First time here and didn't pick the ideal day. They had folks call off sick( Mardi Gras time) and were swamped. Dimitrie met us at the door and gave a prime table at the window. The line never stopped and the staff was scrambling. They all had smiles on their face and were very pleasant. We did have to wait for our food and coffee refills but was ok as we knew why. Had the Box'd Breakfast and was able to sub the bacon for ham. The biscuits are sweet and delicious as they are. Did not add butter or jelly. Hubby loved the grits. We will definitely go back.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
We were very disappointed this morning upon arriving to the Prytania location only to be told we would need a reservation. We was not aware of this change as it is not noted anywhere on your site. The hostess explained they already had reservations for 2 6 top tables and it would be 60 to 90 minutes before we (a group of 3) could be seated. At this point we made the decision to enjoy our breakfast elsewhere. I'd like to understand why if reservations are "recommended " there were 2 4 top tables being utilized by one individual each, ad each appeared to be working on their computers. I've loved coming here but am now cautious to recommend this location.
google avatar

D. S.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday. They seated us immediately but we had to wait about 1 hour for breakfast. I'm not sure if they were understaffed, but everything seemed to move slow. It's a shame because the food was decent, but the wait was not acceptable. The staff was very friendly though.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Really awesome breakfast spot. Well priced and really great service. I ordered the breakfast bowl with hashbrowns, mushrooms, and avocados. It was a perfect breakfast and their bowls are customizable from the base to the toppings and extra veggie toppings are only .75 cents. The Bloody Mary was not the best but our waitress was amazing and understanding and allowed us to order another drink and we didn't have to pay for the Bloody Mary. I would definitely recommend this place as a casual breakfast/brunch spot with great prices and good drink deals

Clifford W.

Yelp
I made the mistake of tipping, not knowing that tip had been already added. My fault but the waitress smiled and said thanks for the 40+% tip.

Yelp
So bad ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww what the ?!?! Gave me some of the most repulsive diarrhea you could ever even imagine. Butthole was simply in shambles. People were honestly super nice but the food was actually doo doo. In their defense it was during Mardi so they were probably swamped. But regardless do when you go DO NOT ORDER THE SAUSAGE OR UR B HOLE IS F**KED!

Chris G.

Yelp
Great food, good prices, and super nice staff every time. Eggs/bacon is rock solid, pancakes are damn good, and the cajun style hash browns are world-class!! Good amount of seating space inside and service is usually super quick and always on point!
google avatar

Matthew L.

Yelp
I feel like I have been at this location for a long time. It has had many different names, but what I always expect is a great breakfast spot that is always packed in the morning. I have been to the Banks street location and even wrote a review for that place. I am just as happy with this location as I was with the original. The hashbrowns were amazing! Next time I am putting some cheese on those bad boys. The Big John sandwich was great as well. The biscuit was soo fresh, I had to eat it quickly before it fell apart! Hopefully Wakin Bakin stays in this location. All I have to do is just walk on over and enjoy breakfast!

Yelp
With the recent return to normalcy, trying to find great quality brunch in Downtown New Orleans is a struggle. It's understandable, with the tourist crush of people in the French Quarter that competition for a fine meal is just a daunting task. We decided to leave all that excitement and find some place a short car drive away. Well Wakin Bakin was our 2nd find this year, and so far the best yet. We found our way to the Prytania St. location. It's located in a small neighborhood business district, near St. Charles Ave area. Street parking was easy, and finding this cafe was a fine adventure. We had great joy at making our breakfast menu selections, we each struggled to make a choice since many items sounded interesting. They have several selections in different categories with often a fun Cajun twist to the ingredients. On this day I greatly enjoyed the Superbowl (I'm draw to anything with jalapeños) and found it a flavorful selection. This will be one of our go to choices when visiting New Orleans and looking for brunch. The neighborhood piled in while we were there, filling all the available tables, and we could see the popularity of this local supported establishment. We noted later that this business as a couple other locations. It's certainly a great example of what's great about New Orleans brunch dining.
